Esias 60
1 Be enlightened, be enlightened, O Jerusalem, for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
എഴുന്നേറ്റു പ്രകാശിക്ക; നിന്റെ പ്രകാശം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സും നിന്റെമേൽ ഉദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
2 Behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and [there shall be] gross darkness on the nations: but the Lord shall appear upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
അന്ധകാരം ഭൂമിയെയും കൂരിരുട്ടു ജാതികളെയും മൂടുന്നു; നിന്റെമേലോ യഹോവ ഉദിക്കും; അവന്റെ തേജസ്സും നിന്റെമേൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷമാകും.
3 And kings shall walk in thy light, and nations in thy brightness.
ജാതികൾ നിന്റെ പ്രകാശത്തിലേക്കും രാജാക്കന്മാർ നിന്റെ ഉദയശോഭയിലേക്കും വരും.
4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold thy children gathered: all thy sons have come from far, and thy daughters shall be borne on [men's] shoulders.
നീ തല പൊക്കി ചുറ്റും നോക്കുക; അവർ എല്ലാവരും ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടി നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുന്നു; നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു വരും; നിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരെ പാർശ്വത്തിങ്കൽ വഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു വരും.
5 Then shalt thou see, and fear, and be amazed in thine heart; for the wealth of the sea shall come round to thee, and of nations and peoples; and herds of camels shall come to thee,
അപ്പോൾ നീ കണ്ടു ശോഭിക്കും; നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം പിടെച്ചു വികസിക്കും; സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ ധനം നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചേരും; ജാതികളുടെ സമ്പത്തു നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരും.
6 and the camels of Madiam and Gaepha shall cover thee: all from Saba shall come bearing gold, and shall bring frankincense, and they shall publish the salvation of the Lord.
ഒട്ടകങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടവും മിദ്യാനിലെയും ഏഫയിലെയും ചിറ്റൊട്ടകങ്ങളും നിന്നെ മൂടും; ശേബയിൽ നിന്നു അവരൊക്കെയും വരും; പൊന്നും കുന്തുരുക്കവും അവർ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു യഹോവയുടെ സ്തുതിയെ ഘോഷിക്കും.
7 And all the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered, and the rams of Nabaeoth shall come; and acceptable sacrifices shall be offered on my altar, and my house of prayer shall be glorified.
കേദാരിലെ ആടുകൾ ഒക്കെയും നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടും; നെബായോത്തിലെ മുട്ടാടുകൾ നിനക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യും; അവ പ്രസാദമുള്ള യാഗമായി എന്റെ പീഠത്തിന്മേൽ വരും; അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ മഹത്വമുള്ള ആലയത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും
8 Who are these [that] fly as clouds, and as doves with young ones to me?
മേഘംപോലെയും തങ്ങളുടെ കിളിവാതിലുകളിലേക്കു പ്രാവുകളെപ്പോലെയും പറന്നുവരുന്ന ഇവർ ആർ?
9 The isles have waited for me, and the ships of Tharsis among the first, to bring thy children from afar, and their silver and their gold with them, and [that] for the sake of the holy name of the Lord, and because the Holy One of Israel is glorified.
ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു നിന്റെ മക്കളെ അവരുടെ പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയുമായി നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിന്നും അവൻ നിന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധന്നും കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടതിന്നു ദ്വീപുവാസികളും തർശീശ് കപ്പലുകൾ ആദ്യമായും എനിക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
10 And strangers shall build thy walls, and their kings shall wait upon thee: for by reason of my wrath I smote thee, and by reason of mercy I loved thee.
അന്യജാതിക്കാർ നിന്റെ മതിലുകളെ പണിയും; അവരുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാർ നിനക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യും; എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിൽ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അടിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും എന്റെ പ്രീതിയിൽ എനിക്കു നിന്നോടു കരുണ തോന്നും.
11 And thy gates shall be opened continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; to bring in to thee the power of the Gentiles, and their kings as captives.
ജാതികളുടെ സമ്പത്തിനേയും യാത്രാസംഘത്തിൽ അവരുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാരെയും നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾ രാവും പകലും അടെക്കപ്പെടാതെ എല്ലായ്പോഴും തുറന്നിരിക്കും.
12 For the nations and the kings which will not serve thee shall perish; and those nations shall be made utterly desolate.
നിന്നെ സേവിക്കാത്ത ജാതിയും രാജ്യവും നശിച്ചുപോകും; ആ ജാതികൾ അശേഷം ശൂന്യമായ്പോകും.
13 And the glory of Libanus shall come to thee, with the cypress, and pine, and cedar together, to glorify my holy place.
എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരമുള്ള സ്ഥലത്തിന്നു ഭംഗിവരുത്തുവാനായി ലെബാനോന്റെ മഹത്വവും സരളവൃക്ഷവും പയിനും പുന്നയും ഒരുപോലെ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരും; അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ പാദസ്ഥാനത്തെ മഹത്വീകരിക്കും.
14 And the sons of them that afflicted thee, and of them that provoked thee, shall come to thee in fear; and thou shalt be called Sion, the city of the Holy One of Israel.
നിന്നെ ക്ലേശിപ്പിച്ചവരുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വണങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടു വരും; നിന്നെ നിന്ദിച്ചവരൊക്കെയും നിന്റെ കാൽ പിടിച്ചു നമസ്കരിക്കും; അവർ നിന്നെ യഹോവയുടെ നഗരം എന്നും യിസ്രായേലിൻ പരിശുദ്ധന്റെ സീയോൻ എന്നും വിളിക്കും.
15 Because thou has become desolate and hated, and there was no helper, therefore I will make thee a perpetual gladness, a joy of many generations.
ആരും കടന്നുപോകാതവണ്ണം നീ നിർജ്ജനവും ദ്വേഷവിഷയവും ആയിരുന്നതിന്നു പകരം ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നിത്യമാഹാത്മ്യവും തലമുറതലമുറയായുള്ള ആനന്ദവും ആക്കിത്തീർക്കും.
16 And thou shalt suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt eat the wealth of kings: and shalt know that I am the Lord that saves thee and delivers thee, the Holy One of Israel.
നീ ജാതികളുടെ പാൽ കുടിക്കും; രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ മുല കുടിക്കും; യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ രക്ഷകൻ എന്നും യാക്കോബിന്റെ വല്ലഭൻ നിന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുകാരൻ എന്നും നീ അറിയും.
17 And for brass I will bring thee gold, and for iron I will bring thee silver, and instead of wood I will bring thee brass, and instead of stones, iron; and I will make thy princes peaceable, and thine overseers righteous.
ഞാൻ താമ്രത്തിന്നു പകരം സ്വർണ്ണം വരുത്തും; ഇരിമ്പിന്നു പകരം വെള്ളിയും മരത്തിന്നു പകരം താമ്രവും കല്ലിന്നു പകരം ഇരിമ്പും വരുത്തും; ഞാൻ സമാധാനത്തെ നിനക്കു നായകന്മാരും നീതിയെ നിനക്കു അധിപതിമാരും ആക്കും.
18 And injustice shall no more be heard in thy land, nor destruction nor misery in thy coasts; but thy walls shall be called Salvation, and thy gates Sculptured Work.
ഇനി നിന്റെ ദേശത്തു സാഹസവും നിന്റെ അതിരിന്നകത്തു ശൂന്യവും നാശവും കേൾക്കയില്ല; നിന്റെ മതിലുകൾക്കു രക്ഷ എന്നും നിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾക്കു സ്തുതി എന്നും നീ പേർ പറയും.
19 And thou shalt no more have the sun for a light by day, nor shall the rising of the moon lighten thy night; but the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and God thy glory.
ഇനി പകൽനേരത്തു നിന്റെ വെളിച്ചം സൂര്യനല്ല; നിനക്കു നിലാവെട്ടം തരുന്നതു ചന്ദ്രനുമല്ല; യഹോവ നിനക്കു നിത്യപ്രകാശവും നിന്റെ ദൈവം നിന്റെ തേജസ്സും ആകുന്നു.
20 For the sun shall no more set, nor shall the moon be eclipsed; for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be completed.
നിന്റെ സൂര്യൻ ഇനി അസ്തമിക്കയില്ല; നിന്റെ ചന്ദ്രൻ മറഞ്ഞുപോകയുമില്ല; യഹോവ നിന്റെ നിത്യപ്രകാശമായിരിക്കും; നിന്റെ ദുഃഖകാലം തീർന്നുപോകും.
21 Thy people also shall be all righteous; they shall inherit the land for ever, preserving that which they have planted, [even] the works of their hands, for glory.
നിന്റെ ജനമൊക്കെയും നീതിമാന്മാരാകും; ഞാൻ മഹത്വപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ നടുതലയുടെ മുളയും എന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയും ആയിട്ടു അവർ ദേശത്തെ സദാകാലത്തേക്കു കൈവശമാക്കും.
22 The little one shall become thousands, and the least a great nation; I the Lord will gather them in [due] time.
കുറഞ്ഞവൻ ആയിരവും ചെറിയവൻ മഹാജാതിയും ആയിത്തീരും; യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ തക്ക സമയത്തു അതിനെ ശീഘ്രമായി നിവർത്തിക്കും.
