Esias 57
1 See how the just man has perished, and no one lays [it] to heart: and righteous men are taken away, and no one considers: for the righteous has been removed out of the way of injustice.
നീതിമാൻ നശിക്കുന്നു; ആരും അതു ഗണ്യമാക്കുന്നില്ല; ഭക്തന്മാരും കഴിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു; നീതിമാൻ അനർത്ഥത്തിന്നു മുമ്പെ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു എന്നു ആരും ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ല.
2 His burial shall be in peace: he has been removed out of the way.
അവൻ സമാധാനത്തിലേക്കു പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നു; നേരായി നടക്കുന്നവരൊക്കെയും താന്താന്റെ കിടക്കയിൽ വിശ്രാമം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
3 But draw ye near hither, ye lawless children, the seed of adulterers and the harlot.
ക്ഷുദ്രക്കാരത്തിയുടെ മക്കളേ, വ്യഭിചാരിയുടെയും വേശ്യയുടെയും സന്തതിയേ; ഇങ്ങോട്ടു അടുത്തുവരുവിൻ.
4 Wherein have ye been rioting? and against whom have ye opened your mouth, and against whom have ye loosed your tongue? are ye not children of perdition? a lawless seed?
നിങ്ങൾ ആരെയാകുന്നു കളിയാക്കുന്നതു? ആരുടെനേരെയാകുന്നു നിങ്ങൾ വായ്പിളർന്നു നാക്കു നീട്ടുന്നതു? നിങ്ങൾ അതിക്രമക്കാരും വ്യാജസന്തതിയും അല്ലയോ?
5 who call upon idols under the leafy trees, slaying your children in the valleys among the rocks?
നിങ്ങൾ കരുവേലങ്ങൾക്കരികത്തും ഓരോ പച്ചമരത്തിൻകീഴിലും ജ്വലിച്ചു, പാറപ്പിളർപ്പുകൾക്കു താഴെ തോട്ടുവക്കത്തുവെച്ചു കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ അറുക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
6 That is thy portion, this is thy lot: and to them hast thou poured forth drink-offerings, and to these hast thou offered meat-offerings. Shall I not therefore be angry for these things?
തോട്ടിലെ മിനുസമുള്ള കല്ലു നിന്റെ പങ്കു; അതു തന്നേ നിന്റെ ഓഹരി; അതിന്നല്ലോ നീ പാനീയ ബലി പകർന്നു ഭോജനബലി അർപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു? ഈ വക കണ്ടിട്ടു ഞാൻ ക്ഷമിച്ചിരിക്കുമോ?
7 On a lofty and high mountain, there is thy bed, and thither thou carriedst up thy meat-offerings:
പൊക്കവും ഉയരവും ഉള്ള മലയിൽ നീ നിന്റെ കിടക്ക വിരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടേക്കു തന്നേ നീ ബലികഴിപ്പാൻ കയറിച്ചെന്നു.
8 and behind the posts of thy door thou didst place thy memorials. Didst thou think that if thou shouldest depart from me, thou wouldest gain? thou hast loved those that lay with thee;
കതകിന്നും കട്ടിളെക്കും പുറകിൽ നീ നിന്റെ അടയാളം വെച്ചു, നീ എന്നെ വിട്ടു ചെന്നു മറ്റുള്ളവർക്കു നിന്നെത്തന്നേ അനാവൃതയാക്കി കയറി നിന്റെ കിടക്ക വിസ്താരമാക്കി അവരുമായി ഉടമ്പടിചെയ്തു അവരുടെ ശയനം കൊതിച്ചു ആംഗ്യം നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
9 and thou hast multiplied thy whoredom with them, and thou hast increased the number of them that are far from thee, and hast sent ambassadors beyond thy borders, and hast been debased even to hell. (Sheol h7585)
നീ തൈലവുംകൊണ്ടു മോലെക്കിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു, നിന്റെ പരിമളവർഗ്ഗം ധാരാളം ചെലവു ചെയ്തു, നിന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരെ ദൂരത്തയച്ചു പാതാളത്തോളം ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു. (Sheol h7585)
10 Thou has wearied thyself with thy many ways; yet thou saidst not, I will cease to strengthen myself: for thou has done these things; therefore thou has not supplicated me.
വഴിയുടെ ദൂരംകൊണ്ടു നീ തളർന്നുപോയിട്ടും അതു നിഷ്ഫലമെന്നു നീ പറഞ്ഞില്ല; നിന്റെ കൈവശം ജീവശക്തി കണ്ടതുകൊണ്ടു നിനക്കു ക്ഷീണം തോന്നിയില്ല.
11 Through dread of whom hast thou feared, and lied against me, and has not remembered, nor considered me, nor regarded me, yea, though when I see thee I pass thee by, yet thou has not feared me.
കപടം കാണിപ്പാനും എന്നെ ഓർക്കയോ കൂട്ടാക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാനും നീ ആരെയാകുന്നു ശങ്കിച്ചു ഭയപ്പെട്ടതു? ഞാൻ ബഹുകാലം മിണ്ടാതെ ഇരുന്നിട്ടല്ലയോ നീ എന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടാതിരിക്കുന്നതു?
12 And I will declare thy righteousness, and thy sins, which shall not profit thee.
നിന്റെ നീതി ഞാൻ വെളിച്ചത്താക്കും; നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളോ നിനക്കു പ്രയോജനമാകയില്ല.
13 When thou criest out, let them deliver thee in thine affliction: for all these the wind shall take, and the tempest shall carry [them] away: but they that cleave to me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain.
നീ നിലവിളിക്കുമ്പോൾ നിന്റെ വിഗ്രഹസമൂഹം നിന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കട്ടെ; എന്നാൽ അവയെ ഒക്കെയും കാറ്റു പാറ്റിക്കൊണ്ടുപോകും; ഒരു ശ്വാസം അവയെ നീക്കിക്കളയും; എങ്കിലും എന്നെ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നവൻ ദേശത്തെ അവകാശമാക്കി എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപർവ്വതത്തെ കൈവശമാക്കും.
14 And they shall say, Clear the ways before him, and take up the stumbling-blocks out of the way of my people.
നികത്തുവിൻ, നികത്തുവിൻ, വഴി ഒരുക്കുവിൻ; എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ വഴിയിൽ നിന്നു ഇടർച്ച നീക്കിക്കളവിൻ എന്നു അവൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
15 Thus saith the Most High, who dwells on high for ever, Holy in the holies, is his name, the Most High resting in the holies, and giving patience to the faint-hearted, and giving life to the broken-hearted:
ഉന്നതനും ഉയർന്നിരിക്കുന്നവനും ശാശ്വതവാസിയും പരിശുദ്ധൻ എന്നു നാമമുള്ളവനുമായവൻ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ ഉന്നതനും പരിശുദ്ധനുമായി വസിക്കുന്നു; താഴ്മയുള്ളവരുടെ മനസ്സിന്നും മനസ്താപമുള്ളവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്നും ചൈതന്യം വരുത്തുവാൻ മനസ്താപവും മനോവിനയവുമുള്ളവരോടു കൂടെയും വസിക്കുന്നു.
16 I will not take vengeance on you for ever, neither will I be always angry with you: for my Spirit shall go forth from me, and I have created all breath.
ഞാൻ എന്നേക്കും വാദിക്കയില്ല; എല്ലായ്പോഴും കോപിക്കയുമില്ല; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവരുടെ ആത്മാവും ഞാൻ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ദേഹികളും എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകുമല്ലോ.
17 On account of sin for a little while I grieved him, and smote him, and turned away my face from him; and he was grieved, and he went on sorrowful in his ways.
അവരുടെ അത്യാഗ്രഹത്തിന്റെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ കോപിച്ചു അവരെ അടിച്ചു; ഞാൻ കോപിച്ചു മുഖം മറെച്ചു; എന്നാറെ അവർ തിരിഞ്ഞു തങ്ങൾക്കു തോന്നിയ വഴിയിൽ നടന്നു.
18 I have seen his ways, and healed him, and comforted him, and given him true comfort;
ഞാൻ അവരുടെ വഴികളെ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അവരെ സൗഖ്യമാക്കും; ഞാൻ അവരെ നടത്തി അവർക്കു, അവരുടെ ദുഃഖിതന്മാർക്കു തന്നേ, വീണ്ടും ആശ്വാസം വരുത്തും.
19 peace upon peace to them that are far off, and to them that are nigh: and the Lord has said, I will heal them.
ഞാൻ അധരങ്ങളുടെ ഫലം സൃഷ്ടിക്കും; ദൂരസ്ഥന്നും സമീപസ്ഥന്നും സമാധാനം, സമാധാനം എന്നും ഞാൻ അവരെ സൗഖ്യമാക്കും എന്നും യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
20 But the unrighteous shall be tossed as troubled waves, and shall not be able to rest.
ദുഷ്ടന്മാരോ, കലങ്ങിമറിയുന്ന കടൽപോലെയാകുന്നു; അതിന്നു അടങ്ങിയിരിപ്പാൻ കഴികയില്ല; അതിലെ വെള്ളം ചേറും ചെളിയും മേലോട്ടു തള്ളുന്നു.
21 There is no joy to the ungodly, said God.
ദുഷ്ടന്മാർക്കു സമാധാനമില്ല എന്നു എന്റെ ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
