< Esias 48 >

1 Hear these [words], ye house of Jacob, who are called by the name of Israel, and have come forth out of Juda, who swear by the name of the Lord God of Israel, making mention [of it, but] not with truth, nor with righteousness;
oJanjiño zao, ry anjomba’ Iakobe, ie tokaveñe ami’ty tahina’ Israele, ry niboak’ ami’ty figoangoa’ Iehodà; o mifanta ami’ty tahina’ Iehovà naho mitalily i Andrianañahare’ Israeleo, fe tsy an-katò, tsy an-kavantañañe.
2 maintaining also the name of the holy city, and staying themselves on the God of Israel: the Lord of hosts is his name. The former things I have already declared;
Ie manao ho mpiamy rova miavakey, naho mpiato aman’ Añahare’ Israele, Iehovà’ i Màroy ty tahina’e.
3 and they that have proceeded out of my mouth, and it became well known; I wrought suddenly, and [the events] came to pass.
Fa nitaroñeko haehae o raha taoloo; eka fa nionjoñe boak’am-bavako ao, nitaroñeko le tsipaepae’e te nifetsake;
4 I know that thou art stubborn, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy forehead brazen.
Amy te napotako t’ie mitangingìñe, naho viñe ty tali-bozìn-kàto’o, Vaho torisìke ty lahara’o;
5 And I told thee of old what [should be] before it came upon thee; I made it known to thee, lest thou shouldest say, [My] idols have done [it] for me; and shouldest say, [My] graven and molten images have commanded me.
Aa le nivolañako boake taolo añe, ie mbe tsy nitondroke le nitaroñako, tsy mone hatao’o ty hoe; Nihenefa’ i hazomangakoy, naho i sare pinateko an-kataey, vaho, i raha natranakoy ty nandily izay.
6 Ye have heard all this, but ye have not known: yet I have made known to thee the new things from henceforth, which are coming to pass, and thou saidst not,
F’ie nahajanjiñe, heheke iaby o raha zao: aa vaho tsy ho taroñe’ areo? F’ie nitaroñeko raha vao henaneo, raha mietake mbe tsy nifohi’o.
7 Now they come to pass, and not formerly: and thou heardest not of them in former days: say not thou, Yea, I know them.
Nifonireñe henaneo, fa tsy haehae, tsy nijanjiña’o taolo’ ty andro toy, tsy mone hatao’o ty hoe t’ie nifanta’o.
8 Thou hast neither known, nor understood, neither from the beginning have I opened thine ears: for I knew that thou wouldest surely deal treacherously, and wouldest be called a transgressor even from the womb.
Eka, tsy jinanji’o tsy napota’o; toe tsy nisokake o ravembia’oo haehae izay; fe napotako t’ie hikabo-draha, ihe natao mpiola boak’ an-koviñe ao.
9 For mine own sake will I shew thee my wrath, and will bring before thee my glorious acts, that I may not utterly destroy thee.
Aa le ty añarako ty hampihankàñe o fifombokoo, i fandrengeañe ahiy ty ifoneñako, tsy mone haitoako irehe.
10 Behold, I have sold thee, [but] not for silver; but I have rescued thee from the furnace of affliction.
Ie hinasohasoko, fa tsy hoe volafoty; nitsoheko an-toñan-kaloviloviañe ao.
11 For mine own sake I will do [this] for thee, because my name is profaned; and I will not give my glory to another.
Izaho, eka izaho, ty hanao izay; fa akore te ho tivaeñe ty añarako? toe tsy hatoloko ami’ty ila’e o engekoo.
12 Hear me, O Jacob, and Israel whom I call; I am the first, and I endure for ever.
Haoño iraho ry Iakobe, ry Israele kinanjiko; Izaho ro Ie, Izaho ty fifotora’e, naho Izaho ty figadoña’e.
13 My hand also has founded the earth, and my right hand has fixed the sky: I will call them, and they shall stand together.
Eka, nandaharen-tañako ty faha’ ty tane toy, nilamahen-tañako havana o likerañeo; ie tokavako, mitrao-piongake.
14 And all shall be gathered, and shall hear: who has told them these things? Out of love to thee I have fulfilled thy desire on Babylon, to abolish the seed of the Chaldeans.
Mitontoña, ie iaby, vaho mijanjiña: ia am’ iereo ty nitsey o raha zao? Hanao ty satrin-arofo’e e Bavele añe t’i kokoa’ Iehovà, ie hisenge ty sira’e amo nte-Kasdio.
15 I have spoken, I have called, I have brought him, and made his way prosperous.
Izaho le Izaho avao ty nivolañe, eka Izaho ty nitoka aze, Izaho ty nanese aze, Ie ty hampiraorao o lala’eo.
16 Draw nigh to me, and hear ye these words; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning: when it took place, there was I, and now the Lord, [even] the Lord, and his Spirit, hath sent me.
Mitotoha amako le janjiño: Boak’ am-baloha’e raho tsy nivolañe añ’etake; ie vaho namoroñe le tao iraho; ie amy zao fa nañirak’ ahy naho i Arofo’ey t’Iehovà Talè
17 Thus saith the Lord that delivered thee, the Holy One of Israel; I am thy God, I have shewn thee how thou shouldest find the way wherein thou shouldest walk.
Hoe t’Iehovà, Mpijebañe azo, t’i Masi’ Israele; Izaho Iehovà, Andrianañahare’o, I mpañòke azo ho ami’ty hasoa’oy, I mpiaolo azo an-dalan-kombà’oy.
18 And if thou hadst hearkened to my commandments, [then] would thy peace have been like a river, and thy righteousness as a wave of the sea.
Naho ho nihaoñe’ areo o lilikoo! le ho nanahake o oñeo ty fierañeraña’o, vaho hoe onjan-driake ty havantaña’o.
19 Thy seed also would have been as the sand, and the offspring of thy belly as the dust of the ground: neither now shalt thou by any means be utterly destroyed, neither shall thy name perish before me.
Le ho nira amo faseñeo o tiri’oo, o tariram-pañova’oo ami’ty hamaro’ ty haminjilita’e; naho tsy napitsoke ndra naitoañe aoloko ka ty tahina’e.
20 Go forth of Babylon, thou that fleest from the Chaldeans: utter aloud a voice of joy, and let this be made known, proclaim it to the end of the earth; say ye, The Lord hath delivered his servant Jacob.
Iakaro i Bavele, Ivoratsaho o nte-Kasdio; am-peo-pisaboañe, tseizo, pazapazaho, koiho pak’ añ’olo’ ty tane toy; Ano ty hoe: Fa jineba’ Iehovà ty mpitoro’e Iakobe.
21 And if they shall thirst, he shall lead them through the desert; he shall bring forth water to them out of the rock: the rock shall be cloven, and the water shall flow forth, and my people shall drink.
Ie tsy nitaliñiereñe te niaoloa’e hitsake o fatram-beio; Nampipororoaha’e rano i vatoy; tsinera’e i lamilamiy vaho nidoandoañe i ranoy.
22 There is no joy, saith the Lord, to the ungodly.
Po-panintsiñañe, hoe t’Iehovà, o tsivokatseo.
