< Esias 41 >
1 Hold a feast to me, ye islands: for the princes shall renew [their] strength: let them draw nigh and speak together: then let them declare judgment.

2 Who raised up righteousness from the east, [and] called it to his feet, so that it should go? shall appoint [it] an adversary of Gentiles, and shall dismay kings, and bury their swords in the earth, and cast forth their bows and arrows as sticks?
Khocuk lamloh aka haenghang te unim? Anih te a kho kungah duengnah la a khue. Namtom rhoek te a mikhmuh ah a tloeng pah. Manghai rhoek te a hnaa tih a cunghang neh laipi bangla a saii, a liva te divawt bangla a khoek.
3 And he shall pursue them; the way of his feet shall proceed in peace.
Amih loh a hloem vaengah a kho loh a cawt noek pawh caehlong te sading la a poeng.
4 Who has wrought and done these things? he has called it who called it from the generations of old; I God, the first and to [all] futurity, I AM.
A lu lamloh a saii tih a khuen phoeiah cadilcahma aka khue te unim? Lamhma khaw kai Yahovah ni, a hnukkhueng taengah khaw kamah ka om.
5 The nations saw, and feared; the ends of the earth drew nigh, and came together,
Sanglak rhoek loh a hmuh uh tih a rhih uh. Diklai khobawt rhoek khaw a lakueng uh dongah ha tawn uh tih halo uh.
6 every one judging for his neighbor and [that] to assist his brother: and one will say,
Hlang loh a hui te bom uh saeh lamtah a manuca te, “Thaahuel lah,” ti nah saeh.
7 The artificer has become strong, and the coppersmith that smites with the hammer, [and] forges also: sometimes he will say, It is a piece well joined: they have fastened them with nails; they will fix them, and they shall not be moved.
Kutthai loh sui aka cilpoe te a thaphoh. Kilung neh aka picai loh thilung aka hnaa te, “Khangtui khaw khaw then ngawn,” a ti nah. A tuen pawt ham thicung neh a khing.
8 But thou, Israel, art my servant Jacob, and he whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraam, whom I have loved:
Tedae ka lungnah Abraham tiingan, ka sal Israel nang neh Jakob nang la kan tuek.
9 whom I have taken hold of from the ends of the earth, and from the high places of it I have called thee, and said to thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and I have not forsaken thee.
Diklai khobawt lamloh nang kan doek tih, a hlahloei lamkah ni nang kang khue. Nang te, “Ka sal ni,” ka ti dongah nang kan coelh. Te dongah nang te kan hnawt moenih.
10 Fear not; for I am with thee: wander not; for I am thy God, who have strengthened thee; and I have helped thee, and have established thee with my just right hand.
Rhih boeh, nang taengah kamah ka om. Mangthong ngawn boeh kai he na Pathen ni. Na nam kan ning sak vetih nang kam bom ngawn bitni. Kamah kah duengnah bantang kut neh nang kan moem bitni.
11 Behold, all thine adversaries shall be ashamed and confounded; for they shall be as if they were not: and all thine opponents shall perish.
Nang taengah aka lungoe boeih tah yak uh vetih a hmaithae uh ni. Namah taengah tuituknah aka khueh hlang rhoek a hong la om vetih milh uh ni.
12 Thou shalt seek them, and thou shalt not find the men who shall insolently rage against thee: for they shall be as if they were not, and they that war against thee shall not be.
Na rhalcak te hlang na tlap cakhaw na hmu mahpawh. Nang kah caemtloek hlang rhoek te a hong neh a poei-oep la om ni.
13 For I am thy God, who holdeth thy right hand, who saith to thee,
Kai tah na bantang kut aka moem tih nang taengah, “Rhih boeh nang te kamah loh kam bom bitni,” aka ti Yahovah na Pathen ni.
14 Fear not, Jacob, [and thou] Israel few in number; I have helped thee, saith thy God, he that redeems thee, O Israel.
Jakob talam, Israel hlang loh rhih boeh. Kamah loh nang kan bom bitni. Israel kah hlangcim nang aka tlan, BOEIPA kah olphong ni.
15 Behold, I have made thee as new saw-shaped threshing wheels of a waggon; and thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat the hills to powder, and make [them] as chaff:
Nang te tloep dongkah thingphael no a thai kah kungmah la kang khueh ni. Tlang na til vetih na tip sak ni. Som khaw cangkik bangla na khueh ni.
16 and thou shalt winnow [them], and the wind shall carry them away, and a tempest shall scatter them: but thou shalt rejoice in the holy ones of Israel.
Amih te na rhuek vaengah yilh loh a khuen vetih hlipuei loh a taekyak ni. Tedae nang tah BOEIPA dongah na omngaih vetih Israel kah a cim dongah na thangthen bitni.
17 And the poor and the needy shall exult; for [when] they shall seek water, and there shall be none, [and] their tongue is parched with thirst, I the Lord God, I the God of Israel will hear, and will not forsake them:
Mangdaeng neh khodaeng loh tui a tlap. Tuihalh dongah a lai om kolla koh coeng. Kai Israel Pathen Yahovah loh amih te ka doo tih amih te ka hnoo moenih.
18 but I will open rivers on the mountains, and fountains in the midst of plains: I will make the desert pools of water, and a thirsty land watercourses.
Caphoei cuk ah tuiva, kolbawn laklung ah tuisih ka phuet sak ni. Khosoek te tuibap tui la, khohmuen rhamrhae te tui hnun la ka khueh ni.
19 I will plant in the dry land the cedar and box, the myrtle and cypress, and white poplar:
Khosoek ah lamphai, thingkoi, cuihal neh situi thing ka khueh ni. kolken ah hmaical, kungkang neh ta-aw thing khaw tun a khueh.
20 that they may see, and know, and perceive, and understand together, that the hand of the Lord has wrought these [works], and the Holy One of Israel has displayed [them].
Te vaengah BOEIPA kut loh a saii tih Israel kah a cim loh a suen te hmu uh saeh lamtah ming uh saeh, dueh uh saeh lamtah tun yakming uh saeh.
21 Your judgment draws nigh, saith the Lord God; your counsels have drawn nigh, saith the King of Jacob.
BOEIPA loh, “Nangmih kah tuituknah phoe puei uh,” a ti. Jakob manghai long tah, “Namamih kah oelhnah te tawn uh,” a ti.
22 Let them draw nigh, and declare to you what things shall come to pass; or tell [us] what things were of old, and we will apply [our] understanding, and we shall know what are the last and the future things:
Hnukbuet kah aka thoeng te mamih taengah tawn saeh lamtah thui uh saeh. Amih loh mebang a thui akhaw mamih kah lungbuei ah khueh uh sih. A hmailong ah mamih kah n'yaak bangla a thoeng te ming uh sih.
23 tell us, declare ye to us the things that are coming on at the last [time], and we shall know that ye are gods: do good, and do evil, and we shall wonder, and see at the same time
A hnuk ah aka lo te thui lamtah nangmih na pathen uh te kam hmat uh eh. Na thae na then khaw ka uem uh vetih ka sawt khaw ka sawt mai bitni.
24 whence ye are, and whence is your works: they have chosen you an abomination out of the earth.
Nangmih te tangkik tanglai ni he. Na bisai khaw a hong lakah nah. Nangmih aka coelh te khaw tueilaehkoi ni.
25 But I have raised up him that [comes] from the north, and him that [comes] from the rising of the sun: they shall be called by my name: let the princes come, and as potter's clay, and as a potter treading clay, so shall ye be trodden down.
Tlangpuei lamloh ka haeng tih khocuk khomik taeng lamloh halo. Ka ming te a phuk tih ukkung rhoek te amlai bangla a pah. Te vaengah amsai bangla tangnong a daep.
26 For who will declare the things from the beginning, that we may know also the former things, and we will say that they are true? there is no one that speaks beforehand, nor anyone that hears your words.
A tong lamkah unim aka puen tih mikhmuh lamkah khaw ka ming vetih thuem ka ti uh eh. Aka puen khaw om pawh, aka yaak sak khaw om pawh, na ol aka ya khaw om pawh.
27 I will give dominion to Sion, and will comfort Jerusalem by the way.
Amih he lamhma la Zion taengah khaw, Jerusalem taengah khaw aka phong la ka paek coeng he.
28 For from among the nations, behold, [there was] no one; and of their idols there was none to declare [anything]: and if I should ask them, Whence are ye? they could not answer me.
Ka hmuh nawn khaw hlang om pawh. Amih ka dawt vaengah ol mael hamla amih aka uen khaw om pawh.
29 For [these] are your makers, [as ye think], and they that cause you to err in vain.
Amih te boeih ah boethae ni ke. A bibi khaw a poei-oep, a tuisi khaw a khohli neh a hinghong ni.
