Esias 12

1 And in that day thou shalt say, I [will] bless thee, O Lord; for thou wast angry with me, but thou hast turned aside thy wrath, and hast pitied me.

Und du wirst sprechen an jenem Tage: Ich bekenne Dich, Jehovah, denn Du zürntest mir; Dein Zorn hat sich zurückgewandt, und Du hast mich getröstet.

2 Behold, my God is my Saviour; I will trust in him, and not be afraid: for the Lord is my glory and my praise, and is become my salvation.

Siehe, der Gott meines Heils! Ich will vertrauen und will nicht schaudern, denn meine Stärke und Gesang ist Jah Jehovah, und Er ward mir zum Heil.

3 Draw ye therefore water with joy out of the wells of salvation.

Und Wasser werdet ihr schöpfen mit Freudigkeit aus dem Brunnquell des Heils;

4 And in that day thou shalt say, sing to the Lord, call aloud upon his name, proclaim his glorious [deeds] among the Gentiles; make mention that his name is exalted.

Und werdet sagen an jenem Tag: Bekennet Jehovah, rufet Seinen Namen an! Machet kund unter den Völkern Seine Taten! Laßt gedenken, daß erhaben ist Sein Name!

5 Sing praise to the name of the Lord; for he has done great [things]: declare this in all the earth.

Singt Psalmen dem Jehovah; denn Hohes hat Er getan. Kund ist es auf der ganzen Erde!

6 Exalt and rejoice, ye that dwell in Sion: for the Holy One of Israel is exalted in the midst of her.

Laß es ertönen und juble, Zions Bewohnerin; denn groß in deiner Mitte ist der Heilige Israels.
