< Osee 7 >
1 When I have healed Israel, then shall the iniquity of Ephraim be revealed, and the wickedness of Samaria; for they have wrought falsehood: and a thief shall come in to him, [even] a robber spoiling in his way;
bere biara a mɛsa Israel yare no, Efraim nnebɔne da adi. Samaria awurukasɛm nso da adi. Wɔyɛ nnaadaafo akorɔmfo a wobubu adan ani kɔ afi mu, ne akwamukafo a wɔbɔ korɔn wɔ mmɔnten so.
2 that they may concert together as [men] singing in their heart: I remember all their wickedness: now have their own counsels compassed them about; they came before my face.
Na wonhu sɛ mekae wɔn nnebɔne nyinaa. Wɔn bɔne bunkam wɔn so; egu mʼanim bere biara.
3 They gladdened kings with their wickedness, and princes with their lies.
“Wɔde atirimɔdensɛm gyigye ɔhene no ani, na wɔde atoro nso gyigye ahenemma no ani.
4 They are all adulterers, as an oven glowing with flame for hot-baking, on account of the kneading of the dough, until it is leavened.
Wɔn nyinaa yɛ aguamammɔfo a akɔnnɔ redɛw wɔ wɔn mu. Wɔte sɛ fononoo a wɔasɔ mu gya bere a brodotofo ahyɛ ase refɔtɔw nʼasikresiam.
5 [In] the days of our kings, the princes began to be inflamed with wine: he stretched out his hand with pestilent fellows.
Da a ɔhene rehyɛ fa no ahenemma bow nsa, na ɔhene no fɛwdifo ne wɔn bɔ mu goru.
6 Wherefore their hearts are inflamed as an oven, while they rage all the night: Ephraim is satisfied with sleep; the morning is come; he is burnt up as a flame of fire.
Wɔn koma te sɛ fononoo; wɔde atirimpɔw bɔne kɔ ɔhene anim. Wɔn nsusuwii bɔne no dɛɛdɛɛ anadwo mu nyinaa; anɔpa, ɛdɛw te sɛ ogyatannaa.
7 They are all heated like an oven, and have devoured their judges: all their kings are fallen; there was not among them one that called on me.
Wɔn nyinaa ayɛ hyew sɛ fononoo. Wokunkum wɔn sodifo. Wɔn ahemfo nyinaa hwehwe ase na wɔn mu biara nsu mfrɛ me.
8 Ephraim is mixed among his people; Ephraim became a cake not turned.
“Efraim ne aman no adi afra; Efraim yɛ ɔfam a anyinya a wonkisae.
9 Strangers devoured his strength, and he knew [it] not; and grey hairs came upon him, and he knew [it] not.
Ananafo twe nʼahoɔden, nanso onhu. Dwen aba ne ti so, nanso nʼani mmaa so ɛ.
10 And the pride of Israel shall be brought down before his face: yet they have not returned to the Lord their God, neither have they diligently sought him for all this.
Israel ahantan di adanse tia no, nanso eyi nyinaa akyi no ɔnnsan nkɔ Awurade ne Nyankopɔn nkyɛn, na ɔnhwehwɛ no nso.
11 And Ephraim was as a silly dove, not having a heart: he called to Egypt, and they went to the Assyrians.
“Efraim te sɛ aborɔnoma, wotumi daadaa no na onni adwene. Ɔfrɛ Misraim, na wadan akɔ Asiria.
12 Whenever they shall go, I will cast my net upon them; I will bring them down as the birds of the sky, I will chasten them with the rumor of their [coming] affliction.
Sɛ wɔkɔ a, mɛtow mʼasau agu wɔn so; atwe wɔn aba fam te sɛ wim nnomaa. Sɛ mete sɛ wɔretu abɔ mu a, mɛkyere wɔn.
13 Woe to them! for they have started aside from me: they are cowards; for they have sinned against me: yet I redeemed them, but they spoke falsehoods against me.
Nnome nka wɔn, efisɛ wɔatwe wɔn ho afi me ho! Ɔsɛe mmra wɔn so efisɛ wɔatew me so atua! anka mepɛ sɛ migye wɔn nanso wutwa atoro fa me ho.
14 And their hearts did not cry to me, but they howled on their beds: they pined for oil and wine.
Wommfi wɔn koma mu nsu mfrɛ me, mmom wotwa adwo wɔ wɔn mpa so. Wɔboaboa wɔn ho ano kɔhwehwɛ aduan ne nsa foforo, nanso wɔtwe wɔn ho fi me ho.
15 They were instructed by me, and I strengthened their arms; and they devised evils against me.
Metetew wɔn, hyɛɛ wɔn den, nanso wɔbɔ pɔw bɔne tia me.
16 They turned aside to that which is not, they became as a bent bow: their princes shall fall by the sword, by reason of the unbridled state of their tongue: this is their setting at nought in the land of Egypt.
Wɔnhwehwɛ Ɔsorosoroni no; wɔte sɛ tadua a asɛe, wɔn ntuanofo bɛtotɔ wɔ afoa ano efisɛ, wɔnkasa obu so. Eyi nti wobedi wɔn ho fɛw wɔ Misraim asase so.
