< Osee 6 >

1 In their affliction they will seek me early, saying, Let us go, and return to the Lord our God; for he has torn, and will heal us; he will smite, and bind us up.
“Ẹ wá, ẹ jẹ́ kí a padà sọ́dọ̀ Olúwa ó ti fà wá ya pẹ́rẹpẹ̀rẹ ṣùgbọ́n yóò mú wa láradá Ó ti pa wá lára ṣùgbọ́n yóò dí ojú ọgbẹ́ wa.
2 After two days he will heal us: in the third day we shall arise, and live before him, and shall know [him]:
Lẹ́yìn ọjọ́ méjì, yóò sọ wá jí ní ọjọ́ kẹta yóò mú wa padà bọ̀ sípò kí a ba à le wá gbé níwájú rẹ̀.
3 let us follow on to know the Lord: we shall find him ready as the morning, and he will come to us as the early and latter rain to the earth.
Ẹ jẹ́ kí a mọ Olúwa; ẹ jẹ́ kí a tẹ̀síwájú láti mọ̀ ọ́n. Gẹ́gẹ́ bí oòrùn ṣe ń yọ, yóò jáde; yóò tọ̀ wá wá bí òjò, bí òjò àkọ́rọ̀ ti ń bomirin ilẹ̀.”
4 What shall I do unto thee, Ephraim? What shall I do to thee, Juda? whereas your mercy is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew that goes away.
“Kí ni èmi ó ṣe pẹ̀lú rẹ, Efraimu? Kí ni èmi ó ṣe pẹ̀lú rẹ, Juda? Ìfẹ́ rẹ dàbí ìkùùkuu òwúrọ̀ bí ìrì ìdájí tí ó kọjá lọ kíákíá.
5 Therefore have I mown down your prophets; I have slain them with the word of my mouth: and my judgment shall go forth as the light.
Nítorí náà ni mo ṣe gé e yín sí wẹ́wẹ́ láti ọwọ́ àwọn wòlíì, Mo pa yín pẹ̀lú ọ̀rọ̀ ẹnu mi, ìdájọ́ mi tàn bí i mọ̀nàmọ́ná lórí yín.
6 For I will [have] mercy rather than sacrifice, and the knowledge of God rather than whole-burnt-offerings.
Nítorí àánú ni mo fẹ́, kì í ṣe ẹbọ; àti ìmọ̀ Ọlọ́run ju ọrẹ ẹbọ sísun lọ.
7 But they are as a man transgressing a covenant:
Bí i Adamu, wọ́n da májẹ̀mú wọ́n jẹ́ aláìṣòótọ́ sí mi níbẹ̀.
8 there the city Galaad despised me, working vanity, troubling water.
Gileadi jẹ́ ìlú àwọn ènìyàn búburú tí ń ṣiṣẹ́ ẹ̀ṣẹ̀, a sí ti fi ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ bà á jẹ́.
9 And thy strength [is that] of a robber: the priests have hid the way, they have murdered [the people of] Sicima; for they have wrought iniquity in the house of Israel.
Bí adigunjalè ṣe ń ba ní bùba de àwọn ènìyàn bẹ́ẹ̀ ni àwọn àlùfáà, ń parapọ̀; tí wọ́n sì ń pànìyàn lójú ọ̀nà tó lọ sí Ṣekemu, tí wọ́n sì ń dá ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ tí ó ti ni lójú.
10 I have seen horrible [things] there, [even] the fornication of Ephraim: Israel and Juda are defiled;
Mo ti rí ohun tó ba ni lẹ́rù ní ilé Israẹli. Níbẹ̀ Efraimu, fi ara rẹ̀ fún àgbèrè Israẹli sì di aláìmọ́.
11 begin together grapes for thyself, when I turn the captivity of my people.
“Àti fún ìwọ, Juda, a ti yan ọjọ́ ìkórè rẹ. “Nígbà tí mo bá fẹ́ dá ohun ìní àwọn ènìyàn mi padà,
