Osee 2
1 Say to your brother, My people, and to your sister, Pitied.
“अपने भाइयों से कहो, ‘मेरे लोग,’ और अपनी बहनों से कहो, ‘मेरे प्रिय लोग.’
2 Plead with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife, and I am not her husband: and I will remove her fornication out of my presence, and her adultery from between her breasts:
“अपनी माता को डांटो, उसे डांटो, क्योंकि वह मेरी पत्नी नहीं है, और मैं उसका पति नहीं हूं. वह अपने चेहरे से व्यभिचारी भावना और अपने स्तनों के बीच से विश्वासघात को दूर करे.
3 that I may strip her naked, and make her again as she was at the day of her birth: and I will make her desolate, and make her as a dry land, and will kill her with thirst.
अन्यथा मैं उसके कपड़े उतारकर उसे ऐसी नंगी कर दूंगा जैसे वह अपने जन्म के समय थी; मैं उसे मरुस्थल के समान बना दूंगा, उसे एक सूखी भूमि में बदल दूंगा, और उसे प्यास से मारूंगा.
4 And I will not have mercy upon her children; for they are children of fornication.
मैं उसके बच्चों के प्रति प्रेम नहीं दिखाऊंगा, क्योंकि वे व्यभिचार से पैदा हुए बच्चे हैं.
5 And their mother went a-whoring: she that bore them disgraced [them]: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, and my garments, and my linen clothes, my oil and my necessaries.
उनकी माता ने विश्वासघात किया है और वे कलंक से उसके गर्भ में पड़े. उसने कहा, ‘मैं अपने प्रेमियों के पीछे जाऊंगी, जो मुझे मेरा भोजन-पानी, मेरा ऊनी और सन के कपड़े, मेरा जैतून तेल और मेरा दाखमधु देते हैं.’
6 Therefore, behold, I hedge up her way with thorns, and I will stop the ways, and she shall not find her path.
इसलिये मैं उसके रास्ते को कंटीली झाड़ियों से बंद कर दूंगा; मैं उसके आगे दीवार खड़ी कर दूंगा, जिससे उसे उसका रास्ता नहीं मिलेगा.
7 And she shall follow after her lovers, and shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find them: and she shall say, I will go, and return to my former husband; for it was better with me than now.
वह अपने प्रेमियों का पीछा करेगी पर उन्हें पकड़ नहीं सकेगी; वह उन्हें खोजेगी पर वे उसे नहीं मिलेंगे. तब वह कहेगी, ‘मैं पहले के समान अपने पति के पास लौट जाऊंगी, क्योंकि तब मेरी स्थिति अब की अपेक्षा बेहतर थी.’
8 And she knew not that I gave her her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied silver to her: but she made silver and gold [images] for Baal.
उसने इस बात को नहीं माना है कि वह मैं ही था, जिसने उसे अन्न, नई दाखमधु और तेल दिया था, जिसने उस पर खुले हाथों से सोना-चांदी लुटाया था— जिसका उपयोग उन्होंने बाल देवता के लिए किया.
9 Therefore I will return, and take away my corn in its season, and my wine in its time; and I will take away my raiment and my linen clothes, so that she shall not cover her nakedness.
“इसलिये मैं अपने अन्न को ले लूंगा जब वह पक जाएगा, और अपनी नई दाखमधु को ले लूंगा जब वह तैयार हो जाएगा. मैं अपने ऊन और सन के कपड़े वापस ले लूंगा, जिसे मैंने उसे उसके नंगे तन को ढांपने के लिये दिये थे.
10 And now I will expose her uncleanness before her lovers, and no one shall by any means deliver her out of my hand.
इसलिये अब मैं उसकी अश्लीलता को उसके प्रेमियों के सामने प्रकट करूंगा; कोई भी उसे मेरे हाथ से छुड़ा न सकेगा.
11 And I will take away all her gladness, her feasts, and her festivals at the new moon, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn assemblies.
मैं उसके सब उत्सवों को बंद कर दूंगा: उसके वार्षिक त्योहार, उसके नये चांद का उत्सव, उसके शब्बाथ का उत्सव—उसके सब निर्धारित त्योहारों को बंद कर दूंगा.
12 And I will utterly destroy her vines, and her fig-trees, all things of which she said, These are my hire which my lovers have given me: and I will make them a testimony, and the wild beasts of the field, and the birds of the sky, and the reptiles of the earth shall devour them.
मैं उसके अंगूर की लताओं और अंजीर के पेड़ों को नष्ट कर दूंगा, जिनके बारे में वह कहती है कि यह मेरी मजदूरी है जिसे मेरे प्रेमियों ने दिया था; मैं उनको एक झाड़ी बना दूंगा, और जंगली जानवर उन्हें खा जाएंगे.
13 And I will recompense on her the days of Baalim, wherein she sacrificed to them, and put on her ear-rings, and her necklaces, and went after her lovers, and forgot me, saith the Lord.
मैं उसे उस बात के लिये दंड दूंगा कि उसने बाल देवताओं के लिये धूप जलाया; वह अपने आपको नथनी और गहनों से सजाती, और अपने प्रेमियों के पीछे जाती थी, पर मुझको वह भूल गई,” याहवेह की घोषणा है.
14 Therefore, behold, I [will] cause her to err, and will make her as desolate, and will speak comfortably to her.
“इसलिये मैं उसे ललचाऊंगा; मैं उसे निर्जन जगह में ले जाऊंगा और उससे कोमलता से बात करूंगा.
15 And I will giver her possessions from thence, and the valley of Achor to open her understanding: and she shall be afflicted there according to the days of her infancy, and according to the days of her coming up out of the land of Egypt.
वहां मैं उसे उसकी अंगूर की बारियां लौटा दूंगा, और आकोर घाटी को आशा का द्वार बना दूंगा. वहां वह ऐसे जवाब देगी जैसे वह अपने जवानी के दिनों में दिया करती थी, अर्थात् जैसे वह मिस्र देश से निकलकर आने के समय दिया करती थी.”
16 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord, [that] she shall call me, My husband, and shall no longer call me Baalim.
याहवेह घोषणा करते हैं, “उस दिन, तुम मुझे ‘मेरा पति’ कहोगी; तुम मुझे फिर कभी अपना मालिक नहीं कहोगी.
17 And I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and their names shall be remembered no more at all.
मैं उसके मुंह से बाल देवताओं का नाम मिटा दूंगा; उनका नाम फिर कभी न लिया जाएगा.
18 And I will make for them in that day a covenant with the wild beasts of the field, and with the birds of the sky, and with the reptiles of the earth: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle from off the earth, and will cause thee to dwell safely.
उस दिन मैं उनके लिये जंगली जानवरों, आकाश के पक्षियों और भूमि पर रेंगनेवाले जंतुओं के साथ एक वाचा बांधूंगा. धनुष और तलवार और युद्ध को मैं देश से समाप्त कर दूंगा, ताकि लोग निडर होकर आराम करें.
19 And I will betroth thee to myself for ever; yea, I will betroth thee to myself in righteousness, and in judgment, and in mercy, and in tender compassions;
मैं तुम्हें सदा के लिए विवाह का वचन दूंगा; मैं तुमको धर्मीपन और सच्चाई, प्रेम और करुणा के साथ विवाह का वचन दूंगा.
20 and I will betroth thee to myself in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the Lord.
मैं तुम्हें विश्वासयोग्यता के साथ विवाह का वचन दूंगा, और तुम याहवेह को जान जाओगी.”
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord, I will hearken to the heaven, and it shall hearken to the earth;
याहवेह की घोषणा है, “उस दिन मैं जवाब दूंगा, मैं आकाशमंडल को जवाब दूंगा, और वे पृथ्वी को जवाब देंगे;
22 and the earth shall hearken to the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hearken to Jezrael.
और पृथ्वी अन्न, नई दाखमधु और जैतून तेल को जवाब देगी, और वे येज़्रील को जवाब देंगे.
23 And I will sow her to me on the earth; and will love her that was not loved, and will say to that which was not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art the Lord my God.
तब मैं स्वयं उस देश में उसका रोपण करूंगा; मैं उसे अपना प्रेम दिखाऊंगा, जिसे मैं अपना प्रिय नहीं कहता, वे जो मेरे लोग नहीं कहे जाते, उन्हें मैं कहूंगा, ‘तुम मेरे लोग हो’; और वे कहेंगे, ‘आप हमारे परमेश्वर हैं.’”
