Genesis 45
1 And Joseph could not refrain himself when all were standing by him, but said, Dismiss all from me; and no one stood near Joseph, when he made himself known to his brethren.
൧അപ്പോൾ ചുറ്റും നില്‍ക്കുന്നവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ സ്വയം നിയന്ത്രിക്കുവാൻ കഴിയാതെ: “എല്ലാവരും എന്റെ അടുക്കൽനിന്ന് പുറത്ത്പോകുവിൻ” എന്നു യോസേഫ് വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു. ഇങ്ങനെ യോസേഫ് തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർക്കു തന്നെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയപ്പോൾ വേറെ ആരും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.
2 And he uttered his voice with weeping; and all the Egyptians heard, and it was reported to the house of Pharao.
൨അവൻ ഉച്ചത്തിൽ കരഞ്ഞു; ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാരും ഫറവോന്റെ കുടുംബവും അത് കേട്ടു.
3 And Joseph said to his brethren, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him, for they were troubled.
൩യോസേഫ് സഹോദരന്മാരോട്: “ഞാൻ യോസേഫ് ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ അപ്പൻ ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നുവോ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർ അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോയതുകൊണ്ട് അവനോട് ഉത്തരം പറയുവാൻ അവർക്ക് കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.
4 And Joseph said to his brethren, Draw nigh to me; and they drew nigh; and he said, I am your brother Joseph, whom ye sold into Egypt.
൪യോസേഫ് സഹോദരന്മാരോട്: “ഇങ്ങോട്ട് അടുത്തുവരുവിൻ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അവർ അടുത്തുചെന്നപ്പോൾ അവൻ പറഞ്ഞത്; “നിങ്ങൾ ഈജിപ്റ്റിലേക്കു വിറ്റുകളഞ്ഞ നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരൻ യോസേഫ് ആകുന്നു ഞാൻ.
5 Now then be not grieved, and let it not seem hard to you that ye sold me hither, for God sent me before you for life.
൫എന്നെ ഇവിടെ വിറ്റതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ വ്യസനിക്കണ്ടാ, വിഷാദിക്കുകയും വേണ്ടാ; ജീവരക്ഷയ്ക്കായി ദൈവം എന്നെ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് മുമ്പെ അയച്ചതാകുന്നു.
6 For this second year there is famine on the earth, and there are yet five years remaining, in which there is to be neither ploughing, nor mowing.
൬ദേശത്തു ക്ഷാമം ഉണ്ടായിട്ട് ഇപ്പോൾ രണ്ടു വർഷമായി; ഉഴവും കൊയ്ത്തും ഇല്ലാത്ത അഞ്ച് വർഷം ഇനിയും ഉണ്ട്.
7 For God sent me before you, that there might be left to you a remnant upon the earth, even to nourish a great remnant of you.
൭ഭൂമിയിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് സന്തതി ശേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിനും വലിയോരു രക്ഷയാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിനും ദൈവം എന്നെ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് മുമ്പെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
8 Now then ye did not send me hither, but God; and he hath made me as a father of Pharao, and lord of all his house, and ruler of all the land of Egypt.
൮ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ അല്ല, ദൈവം അത്രേ എന്നെ ഇവിടെ അയച്ചത്; അവിടുന്ന് എന്നെ ഫറവോനു പിതാവും അവന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിനൊക്കെയും യജമാനനും ഈജിപ്റ്റുദേശത്തിനൊക്കെയും ഉയർന്ന ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനും ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
9 Hasten, therefore, and go up to my father, and say to him, These things saith thy son Joseph; God has made me lord of all the land of Egypt; come down therefore to me, and tarry not.
൯നിങ്ങൾ ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ട് എന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്ന് അപ്പനോട് പറയേണ്ടത് എന്തെന്നാൽ: ‘അങ്ങയുടെ മകനായ യോസേഫ് ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുന്നു: ദൈവം എന്നെ ഈജിപ്റ്റിനൊക്കെയും അധിപതിയാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അങ്ങ് താമസിക്കാതെ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരേണം.
10 And thou shalt dwell in the land of Gesem of Arabia; and thou shalt be near me, thou and thy sons, and thy sons' sons, thy sheep and thine oxen, and whatsoever things are thine.
൧൦അങ്ങേക്ക് ഗോശെൻദേശത്തു പാർക്കാം എനിക്ക് സമീപമായിരിക്കും; അങ്ങും മക്കളും മക്കളുടെ മക്കളും അങ്ങയുടെ ആടുകളും കന്നുകാലികളും അങ്ങയ്ക്കുള്ളതൊക്കെയും തന്നെ.
11 And I will nourish thee there: for the famine is yet for five years; lest thou be consumed, and thy sons, and all thy possessions.
൧൧അങ്ങയ്ക്കും കുടുംബത്തിനും അങ്ങയ്ക്കുള്ള സകലത്തിനും ദാരിദ്ര്യം നേരിടാതവണ്ണം ഞാൻ അവിടെ അങ്ങയെ പോഷിപ്പിക്കും; ക്ഷാമം ഇനിയും അഞ്ച് വർഷം നില്ക്കും’
12 Behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaks to you.
൧൨ഇതാ, ഞാൻ യോസേഫ് തന്നെ നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങളും എന്റെ അനുജൻ ബെന്യാമീനും കണ്ണാലെ കാണുന്നുവല്ലോ.
13 Report, therefore, to my father all my glory in Egypt, and all things that ye have seen, and make haste and bring down my father hither.
൧൩ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽ എനിക്കുള്ള മഹത്വവും നിങ്ങൾ കണ്ടതൊക്കെയും അപ്പനെ അറിയിക്കണം; എന്റെ അപ്പനെ വേഗത്തിൽ ഇവിടെ കൊണ്ടുവരുകയും വേണം”.
14 And he fell on his brother Benjamin's neck, and wept on him; and Benjamin wept on his neck.
൧൪അവൻ തന്റെ അനുജൻ ബെന്യാമീനെ കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു; ബെന്യാമീൻ അവനെയും കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു.
15 And he kissed all his brethren, and wept on them; and after these things his brethren spoke to him.
൧൫അവൻ സഹോദരന്മാരെ എല്ലാവരേയും ചുംബിച്ചു കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു; അതിന്‍റെശേഷം സഹോദരന്മാർ അവനുമായി സംസാരിക്കുവാൻ തുടങ്ങി.
16 And the report was carried into the house of Pharao, saying, Joseph's brethren are come; and Pharao was glad, and his household.
൧൬യോസേഫിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നുള്ള വർത്തമാനം ഫറവോന്റെ അരമനയിൽ എത്തി; അത് ഫറവോനും അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാർക്കും സന്തോഷമായി.
17 And Pharao said to Joseph, Say to thy brethren, Do this; fill your waggons, and depart into the land of Chanaan.
൧൭ഫറവോൻ യോസേഫിനോടു പറഞ്ഞത്: “നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരോട് നീ പറയേണ്ടത് എന്തെന്നാൽ: ‘നിങ്ങൾ ഇതു ചെയ്‌വിൻ; നിങ്ങളുടെ മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ പുറത്തു ചുമട് കയറ്റി പുറപ്പെട്ടു കനാൻദേശത്തു ചെന്ന്
18 And take up your father, and your possessions, and come to me; and I will give you of all the goods of Egypt, and ye shall eat the marrow of the land.
൧൮നിങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പനെയും കുടുംബങ്ങളെയും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ട് എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുവിൻ; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ഈജിപ്റ്റുരാജ്യത്തിലെ നന്മ തരും; ദേശത്തിന്റെ പുഷ്ടി നിങ്ങൾ അനുഭവിക്കും.
19 And do thou charge them thus; that they should take for them waggons out of the land of Egypt, for your little ones, and for your wives; and take up your father, and come.
൧൯നിനക്ക് കല്പന തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ‘ഇതാകുന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്: നിങ്ങളുടെ പൈതങ്ങൾക്കും ഭാര്യമാർക്കും വേണ്ടി ഈജിപ്റ്റുദേശത്തുനിന്ന് രഥങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടുപോയി നിങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പനെ കയറ്റി കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.
20 And be not sparing in regard to your property, for all the good of Egypt shall be yours.
൨൦നിങ്ങളുടെ വസ്തുവകകളെക്കുറിച്ചു ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ടാ; ഈജിപ്റ്റുദേശത്തെങ്ങുമുള്ള നന്മ നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളതാകുന്നു
21 And the children of Israel did so; and Joseph gave to them waggons, according to the words spoken by king Pharao; and he gave them provision for the journey.
൨൧യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ ചെയ്തു; യോസേഫ് അവർക്ക് ഫറവോന്റെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം രഥങ്ങൾ കൊടുത്തു; വഴിക്കു വേണ്ടുന്ന ആഹാരവും കൊടുത്തു.
22 And he gave to them all two sets of raiment apiece; but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of gold, and five changes of raiment.
൨൨അവരിൽ ഓരോരുത്തർക്കും ഓരോ വസ്ത്രവും, ബെന്യാമീനു മൂന്നര കിലോഗ്രാം വെള്ളി അഞ്ച് വസ്ത്രവും കൊടുത്തു.
23 And to his father he sent [presents] at the same rate, and ten asses, bearing some of all the good things of Egypt, and ten mules, bearing bread for his father for thy journey.
൨൩അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ അവൻ തന്റെ അപ്പന് പത്തു കഴുതപ്പുറത്ത് ഈജിപ്റ്റിലെ വിശേഷസാധനങ്ങളും പത്തു പെൺകഴുതപ്പുറത്ത് വഴിച്ചെലവിനു ധാന്യവും ആഹാരവും കയറ്റി അയച്ചു.
24 And he sent away his brethren, and they went; and he said to them, Be not angry by the way.
൨൪അങ്ങനെ അവൻ തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ യാത്ര അയച്ചു; അവർ പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ: “നിങ്ങൾ വഴിയിൽവച്ചു ശണ്ഠകൂടരുത്” എന്ന് അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.
25 And they went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Chanaan, to Jacob their father.
൨൫അവർ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു കനാൻദേശത്ത് അപ്പനായ യാക്കോബിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ എത്തി.
26 And they reported to him, saying, Thy son Joseph is living, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt; and Jacob was amazed, for he did not believe them.
൨൬അവനോട്: “യോസേഫ് ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ ഈജിപ്റ്റുദേശത്തിനൊക്കെയും അധിപതിയാകുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോൾ യാക്കോബ് സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോയി; അവർ പറഞ്ഞത് വിശ്വസിച്ചതുമില്ല.
27 But they spoke to him all the words uttered by Joseph, whatsoever he said to them; and having seen the chariots which Joseph sent to take him up, the spirit of Jacob their father revived.
൨൭യോസേഫ് അവരോട് പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കുകളെല്ലാം അവർ അവനോട് പറഞ്ഞു; തന്നെ കയറ്റികൊണ്ടു പോകുവാൻ യോസേഫ് അയച്ച രഥങ്ങൾ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അവരുടെ അപ്പനായ യാക്കോബിനു വീണ്ടും ചൈതന്യം വന്നു.
28 And Israel said, It is a great thing for me if Joseph my son is yet alive. I will go and see him before I die.
൨൮“മതി; എന്റെ മകൻ യോസേഫ് ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ മരിക്കുംമുമ്പ് അവനെ പോയി കാണും” എന്നു യിസ്രായേൽ പറഞ്ഞു.
