Genesis 44
1 And Joseph charged the steward of his house, saying, Fill the men's sacks with food, as much as they can carry, and put the money of each in the mouth of his sack.
১যোচেফে তেওঁৰ ঘৰৰ ঘৰগিৰীক আদেশ দি ক’লে, “এই লোকসকলে যিমান শস্য লৈ যাব পাৰে, তেওঁলোকৰ বস্তাবোৰ সিমানকৈ পূৰ কৰি দিয়া আৰু প্ৰতিজন লোকৰ ধন তেওঁলোকৰ বস্তাৰ মুখত থ’বা।
2 And put my silver cup into the sack of the youngest, and the price of his corn. And it was done according to the word of Joseph, as he said.
২মোৰ ৰূপৰ পিয়লাটো সবাটোকৈ সৰুটোৰ শস্য ভৰোৱা বস্তাৰ মুখত থ’বা; শস্য কিনাৰ বাবে অনা তাৰ ধনখিনিও থ’বা।” তেতিয়া ঘৰগিৰী জনে যোচেফে কোৱাৰ দৰেই কৰিলে।
3 The morning dawned, and the men were sent away, they and their asses.
৩পাছদিনা অতি পুৱাতেই লোকসকলক তেওঁলোকৰ গাধবোৰৰ সৈতে বিদায় দিলে।
4 And when they had gone out of the city, [and] were not far off, then Joseph said to his steward, Arise, and pursue after the men; and thou shalt overtake them, and say to them, Why have ye returned evil for good?
৪তেওঁলোক নগৰৰ পৰা ওলাই যোৱাৰ পাছত, অধিক দূৰ গৈ পোৱাৰ আগতেই যোচেফে তেওঁৰ ঘৰগিৰীক ক’লে, “সোনকালে সেই লোকসকলৰ পাছে পাছে যোৱা। তেওঁলোকক লগ পাই ক’বা, ‘তোমালোকে উপকাৰৰ সলনি কিয় অপকাৰ কৰি আহিলা? কিয় তোমালোকে মোৰ প্রভুৰ পিয়লা চুৰ কৰিলা?
5 Why have ye stolen my silver cup? is it not this out of which my lord drinks? and he divines augury with it; ye have accomplished evil in that which ye have done.
৫সেইটো পিয়লাতে মোৰ প্ৰভুৱে পান কৰে আৰু মঙ্গল চোৱাৰ কাৰণেও ব্যৱহাৰ কৰে? তোমালোকে এই কৰ্ম কৰি অতি অন্যায় কৰিছা’।”
6 And he found them, and spoke to them according to these words.
৬এইদৰে সেই ঘৰগিৰীয়েও গৈ বাটত তেওঁলোকক লগ ধৰিলে আৰু এইবোৰ কথা ক’লে।
7 And they said to him, Why does our lord speak according to these words? far be it from thy servants to do according to this word.
৭কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে তেওঁক ক’লে, “মহাশয়, আপুনি কিয় এনেবোৰ কথা কৈছে? আপোনাৰ দাসবোৰৰ পৰা এনে ধৰণৰ কৰ্ম কৰা দূৰ হওক।
8 If we brought back to thee out of the land of Chanaan the money which we found in our sacks, how should we steal silver or gold out of the house of thy lord?
৮চাওক, যোৱাবাৰ আমাৰ বস্তাৰ মুখত যি ধন পাইছিলোঁ, সেয়া আমি কনান দেশৰ পৰা পুনৰ আপোনালৈ ওভটাই আনিলো; তেন্তে আপোনাৰ প্ৰভুৰ ঘৰৰ পৰা আমি ৰূপ বা সোণ কেনেকৈ চুৰ কৰি আনিব পাৰোঁ?
9 With whomsoever of thy servants thou shalt find the cup, let him die; and, moreover, we will be servants to our lord.
৯যদি সেই পিয়লা আপোনাৰ এই দাসবোৰৰ কোনোবা এজনৰ ওচৰত পোৱা যায়, তেন্তে তাৰ মৃত্যু হওঁক আৰু আমিও প্ৰভুৰ দাস হৈ থাকিম।”
10 And he said, Now then it shall be as ye say; with whomsoever the cup shall be found, he shall be my servant, and ye shall be clear.
১০তেতিয়া ঘৰগিৰীজনে ক’লে, “ঠিক আছে, আপোনালোকৰ কথাৰ দৰেই হওক; কিন্তু যিজনৰ ওচৰত সেই পিয়লা পোৱা যাব, কেৱল তেৱেঁ মোৰ দাস হ’ব; আন সকলো নিৰ্দ্দোষী হ’ব।”
11 And they hasted, and took down every man his sack on the ground, and they opened every man his sack.
১১তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে বেগতে নিজৰ বস্তা মাটিত নমাই খুলিলে।
12 And he searched, beginning from the eldest, until he came to the youngest; and he found the cup in Benjamin's sack.
১২ঘৰগিৰীয়ে ডাঙৰজনৰ পৰা আৰম্ভ কৰি শেষত সৰুজনলৈকে বিচাৰোতে বিন্যামীনৰ বস্তাৰ ভিতৰত সেই পিয়লা পোৱা গ’ল।
13 And they rent their garments, and laid each man his sack on his ass, and returned to the city.
১৩তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ কাপোৰ ফালিলে। নিজৰ গাধত বোজাবোৰ দি পুনৰ নগৰলৈ উভটি গ’ল।
14 And Judas and his brethren came in to Joseph, while he was yet there, and fell on the ground before him.
১৪যিহূদা আৰু তেওঁৰ ভায়েক-ককায়েকসকল যেতিয়া যোচেফৰ ঘৰ আহি পালে, যোচেফ তেতিয়াও তাতে আছিল। তেওঁলোকে তেওঁৰ সন্মুখলৈ গৈ মাটিত উবুৰি হৈ পৰিল।
15 And Joseph said to them, What is this thing that ye have done? know ye not that a man such as I can surely divine?
১৫তেতিয়া যোচেফে তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “তোমালোকেনো এইটো কি কাম কৰিলা? তোমালোকে নাজানা নে যে মোৰ নিচিনা এজন লোকে মঙ্গল চোৱাৰ অভ্যাস কৰিব পাৰে?”
16 And Judas said, What shall we answer to our lord, or what shall we say, or wherein should we be justified? whereas God has discovered the unrighteousness of thy servants; behold, we are slaves to our lord, both we and he with whom the cup has been found.
১৬যিহূদাই ক’লে, “মোৰ প্ৰভুকনো আমি কি ক’ম? উত্তৰেইবা কি দিম? কেনেদৰেইবা আমি নিজক নিৰ্দ্দোষী বুলি প্রমাণ কৰিম? আপোনাৰ দাসবোৰৰ অপৰাধ ঈশ্বৰেই প্ৰকাশ কৰি দিলে; যাৰ হাতত সেই পিয়লাটো পোৱা গৈছে, চাওঁক, সি আৰু আমি সকলোৱেই মোৰ প্ৰভুৰ দাস হলোঁ।”
17 And Joseph said, Far be it from me to do this thing; the man with whom the cup has been found, he shall be my servant; but do ye go up with safety to your father.
১৭তাতে যোচেফে ক’লে, “এনে কৰ্ম কৰা মোৰ পৰা দূৰ হওঁক; যাৰ হাতত পিয়লাটো পোৱা গৈছে, তেওঁহে মোৰ দাস হ’ব; কিন্তু আন সকলোৱে শান্তিৰে তোমালোকৰ পিতৃৰ কাষলৈ ঘূৰি যোৱা।”
18 And Judas drew near him, and said, I pray, Sir, let thy servant speak a word before thee, and be not angry with thy servant, for thou art next to Pharao.
১৮তেতিয়া যিহূদাই তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ আগুৱাই গৈ ক’লে, “হে মোৰ মালিক, ফৰৌণ যেনে আপুনিও তেনে। দয়া কৰি মোৰ প্ৰভুৰ কাণত আপোনাৰ এই দাসক এষাৰ কথা জনাবলৈ অনুমতি দিয়ক। আপোনাৰ এই দাসৰ ওপৰত আপোনাৰ ক্ৰোধ প্রজ্বলিত নহওঁক।
19 Sir, thou askedst thy servants, saying, Have ye a father or a brother?
১৯মোৰ প্ৰভুৱে তেওঁৰ এই দাসবোৰক সুধিছিল, ‘তোমালোকৰ পিতৃ আৰু কোনো ভাই আছে নে?’
20 And we said to [my] lord, We have a father, an old man, and he has a son of his old age, a young one, and his brother is dead, and he alone has been left behind to his mother, and his father loves him.
২০তাতে আমি প্ৰভুক কৈছিলোঁ, ‘আমাৰ এজন বৃদ্ধ পিতা আছে আৰু তেওঁৰ বুঢ়া কালৰ এজন সৰু ল’ৰাও আছে; তাৰ ককায়েকৰ মৃত্যু হৈছে আৰু একে মাকৰ সন্তান হিচাবে সি এতিয়া অকলেই আছে; সেয়ে তাৰ পিতাই তাক অতি মৰম কৰে।
21 And thou saidst to they servants, Bring him down to me, and I will take care of him.
২১পাছত আপুনি আপোনাৰ এই দাসবোৰক কৈছিল, ‘তাক মোৰ ওচৰলৈ লৈ আনা, মই তাক চাব বিচাৰো।’
22 And we said to [my] lord, The child will not be able to leave his father; but if he should leave his father, he will die.
২২তেতিয়া আমি প্ৰভুক কৈছিলোঁ, ‘ল’ৰাটিয়ে তাৰ পিতাকক এৰি আহিব নোৱাৰে; কিয়নো যদি আহে, তেন্তে তাৰ পিতাৰ মৃত্যু হ’ব।’
23 But thou saidst to they servants, Except your younger brother come down with you, ye shall not see my face again.
২৩কিন্তু আপুনি আপোনাৰ দাসবোৰক কৈছিল, ‘তোমালোকৰ সৰু ভাইক লগত লৈ নাহিলে, তোমালোকে পুনৰ মোৰ মুখ দেখা নাপাবা।’
24 And it came to pass, when we went up to thy servant our father, we reported to him the words of our lord.
২৪সেয়ে মোৰ প্ৰভুৰ সকলো কথা আমি আপোনাৰ দাস, মোৰ পিতাক কৈছিলোঁ।
25 And our father said, Go again, and buy us a little food.
২৫পাছত আমাৰ পিতায়ে কৈছিল, ‘তোমালোকে পুনৰ গৈ আমাৰ বাবে কিছু শস্য কিনি আনাগৈ।’
26 And we said, We shall not be able to go down; but if our younger brother go down with us, we will go down; for we shall not be able to see the man's face, our younger brother not being with us.
২৬তেতিয়া আমি ক’লোঁ, ‘আমাৰ সৰু ভাই যদি আমাৰ লগত যায়, তেতিয়াহে আমি যাম। নহ’লে আমি যাব নোৱাৰো। কিয়নো আমাৰ সৰু ভাই যদি আমাৰ লগত নাথাকে, তেন্তে সেই পুৰুষৰ মুখকে আমি দেখিবলৈ নাপাম।’
27 And thy servant our father said to us, Ye know that my wife bore me two [sons];
২৭তেতিয়া আপোনাৰ দাস অর্থাৎ মোৰ পিতায়ে আমাক ক’লে, ‘তোমালোকেতো জানাই যে মোৰ ভাৰ্যাই মোলৈ দুটি পুত্ৰ প্ৰসৱ কৰিছিল।
28 and one is departed from me; and ye said that he was devoured of wild beasts, and I have not seen him until now.
২৮তাৰে এটি মোৰ পৰা ওলাই গ’ল আৰু মই কলোঁ, ‘নিশ্চয় কোনো জন্তুৱে তাক ডোখৰ ডোখৰ কৰি ছিৰাছিৰ কৰিলে; তাৰ পাছৰ পৰাই মই তাক পুনৰ দেখা নাপালোঁ;
29 If then ye take this one also from my presence, and an affliction happen to him by the way, then shall ye bring down my old age with sorrow to the grave. (Sheol h7585)
২৯এতিয়া যদি তোমালোকে ইয়াকো মোৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা লৈ যোৱা আৰু তাৰ যদি কোনো ক্ষতি হয়, তেন্তে এই পকা চুলিৰে সৈতে শোকতে মোক তোমালোকে চিয়োললৈ পঠাবা।’ (Sheol h7585)
30 Now then, if I should go in to they servant, and our father, and the boy should not be with us, (and his life depends on this [lad's] life)
৩০গতিকে, এতিয়া মই আপোনাৰ দাসৰ কাষলৈ অর্থাৎ মোৰ পিতাৰ কাষলৈ যদি ল’ৰাটো অবিহনে উভটি যাওঁ আৰু যিহেতু ল’ৰাটোৰ লগত তেওঁৰ প্রাণ একেলগে বন্ধা আছে,
31 —it shall even come to pass, when he sees the boy is not with us, [that] he will die, and thy servants will bring down the old age of thy servant, and our father, with sorrow to the grave. (Sheol h7585)
৩১সেয়ে ল’ৰাটোক আমাৰ লগত নেদেখিলে, তেওঁৰ নিশ্চয়ে মৃত্যু হ’ব। তাতে আপোনাৰ এই দাসবোৰে আপোনাৰ দাস অর্থাৎ আমাৰ পিতাইক তেওঁৰ পকা চুলিৰে সৈতে শোকতে চিয়োললৈ পঠাব; (Sheol h7585)
32 For thy servant has received the boy [in charge] from his father, saying, If I bring him not to thee, and place him before thee, I shall be guilty towards my father for ever.
৩২মই, এই আপোনাৰ দাসে মোৰ পিতাৰ ওচৰত এই ল’ৰাৰ কাৰণে জামিন হৈ কৈছিলোঁ, ‘মই যদি তাক আপোনাৰ ওচৰলৈ নানো, তেন্তে পিতা মই চিৰকাললৈকে আপোনাৰ ওচৰত অপৰাধী হৈ থাকিম।
33 Now then I will remain a servant with thee instead of the lad, a domestic of my lord; but let the lad go up with his brethren.
৩৩সেয়ে মোৰ প্ৰভু, দয়া কৰি সেই ল’ৰাৰ পৰিবর্তে মোকে আপোনাৰ দাসৰ দৰে ৰাখক আৰু ল’ৰা জনক তাৰ ককায়েকসকলৰ সৈতে ঘূৰি যাবলৈ দিয়ক।
34 For how shall I go up to my father, the lad not being with us? lest I behold the evils which will befall my father.
৩৪কিয়নো, ল’ৰা জনক লগত নিনিয়াকৈ মই কেনেকৈ পিতাৰ ওচৰলৈ উলটি যাম? মোৰ পিতালৈ যি আপদ ঘটিব, তাক মই চাব নোৱাৰিম।”
