< Jezekiel 6 >

1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
Ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa sì tọ̀ mí wá wí pé,
2 Son of man, set thy face against the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them;
“Ọmọ ènìyàn, dojúkọ àwọn òkè Israẹli; kí o sì sọtẹ́lẹ̀ lòdì sí wọn
3 and thou shalt say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord; thus saith the Lord to the mountains, and to the hills, and to the valleys, and to the forests; Behold, I bring a sword upon you, and your high places shall be utterly destroyed.
wí pé, ‘Ẹ̀yin òkè Israẹli, ẹ gbọ́ ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa Olódùmarè. Báyìí ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí sí ẹ̀yin òkè ńlá àti àwọn òkè kéékèèké, sí àwọn odò ṣíṣàn àti sí àfonífojì, èmi yóò mú idà wa sórí yín, èmí yóò sì pa ibi gíga yín run.
4 And your altars shall be broken to pieces, and your consecrated plats; and I will cast down your slain [men] before your idols.
Èmi yóò wó pẹpẹ yín lulẹ̀, èmi yóò sì fọ́ pẹpẹ tùràrí yín túútúú; èmi yóò sì pa àwọn ènìyàn yín síwájú àwọn òrìṣà wọn.
5 And I will scatter your bones round about your altars,
Èmi yóò tẹ́ òkú àwọn ará Israẹli síwájú òrìṣà wọn, èmi yóò sì fọ́n egungun wọn yí pẹpẹ wọn ká.
6 and in all your habitations: the cities shall be made desolate, and the high places utterly laid waste; that your altars may be destroyed, and your idols be broken to pieces, and your consecrated plats be abolished.
Gbogbo ibi tí ẹ ń gbé àti àwọn ibi gíga yín ni yóò di píparun, gbogbo pẹpẹ yín ni yóò di ahoro, àwọn òrìṣà yín yóò di fífọ́ túútúú, àwọn pẹpẹ tùràrí yín ni a ó gé lulẹ̀, gbogbo iṣẹ́ yín yóò parẹ́.
7 And slain [men] shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
Àwọn ènìyàn yín yóò ṣubú láàrín yín, ẹ ó sì mọ̀ pé, Èmi ni Olúwa.
8 When there are [some] of you escaping from the sword among the Gentiles, and when ye are scattered in the countries;
“‘Ṣùgbọ́n èmi yóò dá àwọn kan sí nítorí pé díẹ̀ nínú yín ni yóò bọ́ lọ́wọ́ idà, nígbà tí a bá fọ́n yín ká sí gbogbo ilẹ̀ àti orílẹ̀-èdè.
9 then they of you that escape among the nations whither they were carried captive shall remember me; (I have sworn [an oath] against their heart that goes a-whoring from me, and their eyes that go a-whoring after their practices; ) and they shall mourn over themselves for all their abominations.
Àwọn ti ó bọ́ nínú yin yóò sì rántí mi láàrín àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè níbi tí wọn yóò dìwọ́n ní ìgbèkùn lọ, nítorí wọ́n yóò máa rántí mi bí wọ́n ti bà mí lọ́kàn jẹ́ nípa àgbèrè wọn, tí ó yà wọ́n kúrò lọ́dọ̀ mi àti nípa ojú wọn tí ó ṣàfẹ́rí àwọn òrìṣà. Wọn yóò sì ṣú ara wọn nítorí ìwà ibi tí wọ́n ti hù nípa gbogbo ìríra wọn.
10 And they shall know that I the Lord have spoken.
Wọn yóò sì mọ̀ pé, Èmi ni Olúwa; àti pé kì í ṣe lásán ni mo ń lérí pé èmi yóò mú ìdààmú bá wọn.
11 Thus saith the Lord; Clap with [thy] hand, and stamp with [thy] foot and say, Aha, aha! for all the abominations of the house of Israel: they shall fall by the sword, and by pestilence, and by famine.
“‘Èyí ni ohun tí Olúwa Olódùmarè wí, Pàtẹ́wọ́ kí o tún fẹsẹ̀ janlẹ̀, kí o wá kígbe síta pé, “Ó ṣe!” Ilé Israẹli yóò ṣubú nípa idà, ìyàn àti àjàkálẹ̀-ààrùn nítorí gbogbo ìwà ìríra búburú tí wọ́n hù. Wọn yóò ṣubú nípa idà àti ìyàn.
12 He that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that is far off shall die by the pestilence; and he that is in the siege shall be consumed with famine: and I will accomplish mine anger upon them.
Ẹni tó wà lókèèrè yóò kú pẹ̀lú àjàkálẹ̀-ààrùn, àti ẹni tó wà nítòsí yóò ṣubú pẹ̀lú idà, ìyàn ni yóò pa ẹni tó bá ṣẹ́kù sílẹ̀. Báyìí ni èmi yóò ṣe mú ìbínú gbígbóná mi wá sórí wọn.
13 Then ye shall know that I am the Lord, when your slain are in the midst of your idols round about your altars, on every high hill, and under [every] shady tree, where they offered a sweet savour to all their idols.
Wọn yóò sì mọ̀ pé, Èmi ni Olúwa, nígbà tí òkú àwọn ènìyàn wọn bá wà níbẹ̀ láàrín òrìṣà wọn yí pẹpẹ wọn ká, lórí àwọn òkè gíga gbogbo, àti lórí góńgó òkè àti lábẹ́ igi tútù àti lábẹ́ igi óákù, níbi tí wọ́n ti ń fi tùràrí olóòórùn dídùn rú ẹbọ sí gbogbo òrìṣà wọn.
14 And I will stretch out my hand against them, and I will make the land desolate and ruined from the wilderness of Deblatha, in all their habitations: [and] ye shall know that I am the Lord.
Èmi yóò na ọwọ́ mi jáde sí wọn láti mú kí ilẹ̀ náà ṣòfò, kí ó sì dahoro dé aṣálẹ̀ ìhà Dibila—ní gbogbo ibùgbé wọn. Nígbà náà ni wọn yóò mọ̀ pé, Èmi ni Olúwa.’”
