Jezekiel 5
1 And thou, son of man, take thee a sword sharper than a barber's razor; thou shalt procure it for thyself, and shalt bring it upon thine head, and upon thy beard: and thou shalt take a pair of scales, and shalt separate the hair.
Hlang capa nang samvo taengkah cunghang paihat aka haat te namah ham lo laeh. Te te namah ham lo lamtah na lu neh na hmuimul khaw vo laeh. Te phoeiah namah ham cooi khiing khueh lamtah boek.
2 A fourth part thou shalt burn in the fire in the midst of the city, at the fulfillment of the days of the siege: and thou shalt take a fourth part, and burn it up in the midst of it: and a fourth part thou shalt cut with a sword round about it: and a fourth part thou shalt scatter to the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.
Vongup khohnin a thok neh pathum ah pakhat te khopuei laklung ah hmaipuei neh kolh. Pathum ah pakhat te lo lamtah a kaepvai ah cunghang neh tloek. Te phoeiah pathum ah pakhat khohli dongla haeh. Amih hnukah cunghang ka khoh bitni.
3 And thou shalt take thence a few in number, and shalt wrap them in the fold of thy garment.
Tedae te khui lamloh a sii ngai te bet lo lamtah na hnirhaep ah kaelh.
4 And thou shalt take of these again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them up with fire: from thence shall come forth fire; and thou shalt say to the whole house of Israel,
Te lamkah te koep lo lamtah hmai khui la voei. Te te hmai neh hoeh lamtah te lamkah hmai te Israel imkhui pum la pak saeh.
5 Thus saith the Lord; This is Jerusalem: I have set her and the countries round about her in the midst of the nations.
Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a thui. Jerusalem he namtom lakli ah a kaepvai kah khohmuen neh ka khueh.
6 And thou shalt declare mine ordinances to the lawless one from out of the nations; and my statutes [to the sinful one] of the countries round about her: because they have rejected mine ordinances, and have not walked in my statutes.
Tedae ka laitloeknah he namtom lakah, ka khosing te khaw a kaepvai kah kho rhoek lakah halangnah neh a koek. Ka laitloeknah te a hnawt uh tih ka khosing dongah pongpa uh pawh.
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord, Because your occasion [for sin has been taken] from the nations round about you, and ye have not walked in my statutes, nor kept mine ordinances, nay, ye have not even done according to the ordinances of the nations round about you; therefore thus saith the Lord;
Te dongah ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a thui. Na kaepvai kah namtom lakah na hlangping dongah nim ka khosing dongah na pongpa uh pawt tih ka laitloeknah he na vai uh pawh. Na kaepvai namtom kah laitloeknah banglam pataeng na vai uh moenih.
8 Behold, I am against thee, and I will execute judgment in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
Te dongah ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a thui. Kai kamah khaw nang kam pai thil coeng. Namtom mikhmuh kah laitloeknah neh na laklo ah ka saii ni.
9 And I will do in thee things which I have not done, and the like of which I will not do again, for all thine abominations.
Nang kah tueilaehkoi cungkuem dongah ka saii vai pawt te nang taengah ka saii vetih te bang te koep ka saii mahpawh.
10 Therefore the fathers shall eat [their] children in the midst of thee, and children shall eat [their] fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and I will scatter all that are left of thee to every wind.
Te dongah na khui kah napa rhoek loh a ca rhoek, ca rhoek loh napa rhoek a caak uh ni. Na soah tholhphu kan suk vetih na meet boeih te khohli cungkuem taengla ka haeh ni.
11 Therefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord; surely, because thou hast defiled my holy things with all thine abominations, I also will reject thee; mine eye shall not spare, and I will have no mercy.
Te dongah he tah ka Boeipa Yahovah kah olphong ni. Kai hingnah ni. Ka rhokso te namah kah sarhingkoi cungkuem neh, namah kah tueilaehkoi cungkuem neh na poeih het pawt nim? Te dongah ka hlaek vaengah ka mik loh rhen pawt vetih lungma ka ti van mahpawh.
12 A fourth part of thee shall be cut off by pestilence, and a fourth part of thee shall be consumed in the midst of thee with famine: and [as for another] fourth part of thee, I will scatter them to every wind; and a fourth part of thee shall fall by sword round about thee, and I will draw out a sword after them.
Nang taengkah te hlopthum ah hlopkhat, duektahaw ah duek uh vetih na khui ah khokha loh a khah ni. Na kaepvai kah Hlopthum ah hlopkhat te cunghang dongah cungku uh ni. Pathum ah khohli cungkuem taengla ka haeh vetih amih hnukah cunghang ka khoh ni.
13 And my wrath and mine anger shall be accomplished upon them: and thou shalt know that I the Lord have spoken in my jealousy, when I have accomplished mine anger upon them.
Te daengah ni amih taengkah ka thintoek a daeh neh ka kosi ka hlam vetih dam ka ti eh. Te vaengah BOEIPA kamah loh ka kosi he amih soah ka sah phoeiah khaw ka thatlainah neh ka voek te a ming uh bitni.
14 And I will make thee desolate, and thy daughters round about thee, in the sight of every one that passes through.
Te phoeiah na kaepvai kah aka pongpa boeih mikhmuh neh namtom taengah nang te imrhong la, kokhahnah la kang khueh ni.
15 And thou shalt be mourned over and miserable among the nations round about thee, when I have executed judgments in thee in the vengeance of my wrath. I the Lord have spoken.
Kai loh nang soah tholhphu te thintoek neh, kosi neh kan saii vaengah na kaepvai kah namtom taengah kokhahnah neh hnaelcoenah, thuituennah neh a rhaerhap la om bitni. Te dongah BOEIPA kamah loh kosi kah toelthamnah nen ni ka thui.
16 And when I have sent against them shafts of famine, then they shall be consumed, and I will break the strength of thy bread.
Amih taengah yoethae khokha thaltang te ka kah ni. Nangmih aka phae ham te te ka kah te kutcaihnah lam ni a om. Te dongah nang soah khokha kang koei vetih nangmih kah thahuelnah buh te ka bawt ni.
17 So I will send forth against thee famine and evil beasts, and I will take vengeance upon thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through upon thee; and I will bring a sword upon thee round about. I the Lord have spoken.
Nangmih taengah khokha neh boethae mulhing kan tueih vetih nangmih te cakol la n'khueh ni. Duektahaw neh thii loh nang te m'pah vetih na taengah cunghang kang khuen ni. BOEIPA kamah long ni ka thui.
