< Exodus 8 >
1 And the Lord said to Moses, Go in to Pharao, and thou shalt say to him, These things says the Lord: send forth my people, that they may serve me.
Kenaka Yehova anati kwa Mose, “Ukamuwuze Farao kuti, Lolani anthu anga kuti apite, akandipembedze.
2 And if thou wilt not send them forth, behold, I afflict all thy borders with frogs:
Ndipo ngati simulola kuti apite Ine ndidzalanga dziko lonse la Igupto polidzaza ndi achule.
3 and the river shall teem with frogs, and they shall go up and enter into thy houses, and into thy bed-chambers, and upon thy beds, and upon the houses of thy servants, and of thy people and on thy dough, and on thine ovens.
Mtsinje wa Nailo udzadzaza ndi achule. Achulewo adzatuluka ndi kukalowa mʼnyumba yaufumu, ku chipinda chogona ndi pa bedi lako, mʼnyumba za nduna zako ndi pa anthu ako ndi mophikira buledi ndiponso mopangira bulediyo.
4 And upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, shall the frogs come up.
Achulewo adzakulumphira iwe ndi anthu ako ndiponso nduna zako.”
5 And the Lord said to Moses, Say to Aaron thy brother, Stretch forth with the hand thy rod over the rivers, and over the canals, and over the pools, and bring up the frogs.
Ndipo Yehova anati kwa Mose, “Uza Aaroni kuti, ‘Loza ndodo yako ku mitsinje, ku ngalande ndi ku zithaphwi ndipo pakhale achule pa dziko lonse la Igupto.’”
6 And Aaron stretched forth his hand over the waters of Egypt, and brought up the frogs: and the frog was brought up, and covered the land of Egypt.
Kotero Aaroni analoza dzanja lake pa madzi a ku Igupto, ndipo achule anatuluka nadzaza dziko lonse la Igupto.
7 And the charmers of the Egyptians also did likewise with their sorceries, and brought up the frogs on the land of Egypt.
Koma amatsenga anachita zinthu zomwezo mʼmatsenga awo. Iwonso anatulutsa achule mʼdziko lonse la Igupto.
8 And Pharao called Moses and Aaron, and said, Pray for me to the Lord, and let him take away the frogs from me and from my people; and I will send them away, and they shall sacrifice to the Lord.
Kenaka, Farao anayitanitsa Mose ndi Aaroni ndipo anati, “Pemphera kwa Yehova kuti achulewa achoke kwa ine ndi anthu anga, ndipo ine ndidzalola kuti anthu anu apite kukapereka nsembe kwa Yehova.”
9 And Moses said to Pharao, Appoint me [a time] when I shall pray for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to cause the frogs to disappear from thee, and from thy people, and from your houses, only in the river shall they be left behind.
Mose anati kwa Farao, “Inu mungonditchulira nthawi imene mukufuna kuti ndikupempherereni, nduna zanu pamodzi ndi anthu anu kuti achule achoke mʼnyumba zanu ndi kuti atsale okhawo ali mu mtsinje wa Nailo.”
10 And he said, On the morrow: he said therefore, As thou has said; that thou mayest know, that there is no other [God] but the Lord.
Farao anati, “Mawa.” Mose anamuyankha kuti, “Chabwino zidzakhala monga mwaneneramu, kuti mudzadziwe kuti palibe wina wofanana ndi Yehova Mulungu wathu.
11 And the frogs shall be removed away from thee, and from your houses and from the villages, and from thy servants, and from thy people, only in the river they shall be left.
Achule adzachoka mʼnyumba yanu, mʼnyumba za nduna zanu pamodzi ndi za anthu anu. Koma adzatsala mu mtsinje wa Nailo basi.”
12 And Moses and Aaron went forth from Pharao, and Moses cried to the Lord concerning the restriction of the frogs, as Pharao appointed him.
Mose ndi Aaroni anachoka, ndipo Mose anapemphera kwa Yehova kuti achotse achule amene anatumiza kwa Farao.
13 And the Lord did as Moses said, and the frogs died out of the houses, and out of the villages, and out of the fields.
Ndipo Yehova anachita zomwe Mose anapempha. Achule amene anali mʼnyumba, mʼmabwalo ndi mʼminda anafa
14 And they gathered them together in heaps, and the land stank.
Aigupto anawunjika achulewo milumilu ndipo dziko linanunkha.
15 And when Pharao saw that there was relief, his heart was hardened, and he did not hearken to them, as the Lord spoke.
Koma Farao ataona kuti zinthu zinayambanso kukhala bwino, anawumitsanso mtima wake ndipo sanamverenso mawu a Mose ndi Aaroni, monga momwe Yehova ananenera.
16 And the Lord said to Moses, Say to Aaron, Stretch forth thy rod with thy hand and smite the dust of the earth; and there shall be lice both upon man, and upon quadrupeds, and in all the land of Egypt.
Kenaka Yehova anati kwa Mose, “Uza Aaroni kuti akweze ndodo yake ndi kumenya fumbi la pa nthaka, ndipo fumbilo lidzasanduka nsabwe pa dziko lonse la Igupto.”
17 So Aaron stretched out his rod with his hand, and smote the dust of the earth; and the lice were on men and on quadrupeds, and in all the dust of the earth there were lice.
Iwo anachita momwemo, ndipo pamene Aaroni anakweza ndodo yake ndi kumenya fumbi, nsabwe zinafika pa munthu aliyense ndi pa ziweto. Fumbi lonse la mʼdziko la Igupto linasanduka nsabwe.
18 And the charmers also did so with their sorceries, to bring forth the louse, and they could not. And the lice were both on the men and on the quadrupeds.
Koma amatsenga atayesa kupanga nsabwe mwa matsenga awo, analephera. Ndipo nsabwezo zinali pa munthu aliyense ndi pa ziweto zawo.
19 So the charmers said to Pharao, This is the finger of God. But the heart of Pharao was hardened, and he hearkened not to them, as the Lord said.
Amatsenga anati kwa Farao, “Izi wachita ndi Mulungu.” Koma mtima wa Farao unali wowumabe ndipo sanamvere zonena za Mose ndi Aaroni monga momwe Yehova ananenera.
20 And the Lord said to Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharao: and behold, he will go forth to the water, and thou shalt say to him, These things says the Lord: Send away my people, that they may serve me in the wilderness.
Kenaka Yehova anati kwa Mose, “Mmawa, upite ukakumane ndi Farao maso ndi maso pamene azidzapita ku madzi ndipo ukanene kuti, ‘Yehova akuti, Lola anthu anga kuti apite akandipembedze.
21 And if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I send upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and upon your houses, the dog-fly; and the houses of the Egyptians shall be filled with the dog-fly, even throughout the land upon which they are.
Koma ngati suwalola anthu anga kuti apite, Ine ndidzatumiza pa iwe ntchentche zoluma ndi pa nduna zako ndi anthu ako ndi mʼnyumba zanu. Mʼnyumba za Aigupto mudzadzaza ntchentche zoluma. Ngakhale pa nthaka pamene akhalapo padzadzaza ndi ntchentche zoluma.’”
22 and I will distinguish marvellously in that day the land of Gesem, on which my people dwell, in which the dog-fly shall not be: that thou mayest know that I am the Lord the God of all the earth.
“Koma pa tsikulo ndidzapatula dera la Goseni, kumene kumakhala anthu anga, motero kuti sikudzakhala ntchentche zoluma. Choncho iwe udzadziwa kuti Ine Yehova ndi amene ndikulamulira dziko lino.
23 And I will put a difference between my people and thy people, and on the morrow shall this be on the land. And the Lord did thus.
Ndidzasiyanitsa pakati pa anthu anga ndi anthu ako. Chizindikiro chozizwitsa ichi chidzachitika mawa.”
24 And the dog-fly came in abundance into the houses of Pharao, and into the houses of his servants, and into all the land of Egypt; and the land was destroyed by the dog-fly.
Ndipo Yehova anachita zimenezi: Ntchentche zoluma zochuluka zinalowa mʼnyumba yaufumu ya Farao ndi nyumba za nduna zake. Choncho ntchentche zolumazi zinawononga dziko lonse la Igupto.
25 And Pharao called Moses and Aaron, saying, Go and sacrifice to the Lord your God in the land.
Kenaka Farao anayitanitsa Mose ndi Aaroni nati, “Pitani kaperekeni nsembe kwa Mulungu wanu mʼdziko lomwe lino.”
26 And Moses said, It cannot be so, for we shall sacrifice to the Lord our God the abominations of the Egyptians; for if we sacrifice the abominations of the Egyptians before them, we shall be stoned.
Koma Mose anati, “Sitingathe kutero pakuti nsembe zathu kwa Yehova Mulungu ndi zowayipira Aigupto. Ngati tipereke nsembe zowayipira Aigupto mʼmaso mwawo, adzatiponya miyala kuti tife.
27 We will go a journey of three days into the wilderness, and we will sacrifice to the Lord our God, as the Lord said to us.
Ife tiyenera kuyenda ulendo wa masiku atatu kupita ku chipululu kukapereka nsembe kwa Yehova Mulungu wathu monga anatilamulira.”
28 And Pharao said, I [will] let you go, and do ye sacrifice to your God in the wilderness, but do not go very far away: pray then for me to the Lord.
Farao anati, “Ine ndikulolani kuti mupite ku chipululu kukapereka nsembe kwa Yehova Mulungu wanu, koma musapite kutali kwambiri. Tsopano ndipempherereni.”
29 And Moses said, I then will go forth from thee and pray to God, and the dog-fly shall depart both from thy servants, and from thy people to-morrow. Do not thou, Pharao, deceive again, so as not to send the people away to do sacrifice to the Lord.
Mose anayankha kuti, “Ine ndikangochoka pano, ndikapemphera kwa Yehova ndipo mawa lomweli ntchentche zoluma zidzachoka kwa Farao, nduna zake pamodzi ndi anthu ake. Koma Farao, onetsetsani kuti musachitenso zachinyengo ndi kuwakaniza anthu kuti asakapereke nsembe kwa Yehova.”
30 And Moses went out from Pharao, and prayed to God.
Choncho Mose anasiyana ndi Farao nakapemphera kwa Yehova.
31 And the Lord did as Moses said, and removed the dog-fly from Pharao, and from his servants, and from his people, and there was not one left.
Ndipo Yehova anachita zomwe Mose anapempha: Ntchentche zoluma zinachoka kwa Farao ndi nduna zake ndiponso kwa anthu ake. Palibe ngakhale imodzi yomwe inatsala.
32 And Pharao hardened his heart, even on this occasion, and he would not send the people away.
Koma nthawi imeneyinso Farao anawumitsa mtima wake ndipo sanalole kuti anthu atuluke.
