< Exodus 31 >

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
2 Behold, I have called by name Beseleel the son of Urias the son of Or, of the tribe of Juda.
See I have called by name Bezalel [the] son of Uri [the] son of Hur of [the] tribe of Judah.
3 And I have filled him [with] a divine spirit of wisdom, and understanding, and knowledge, to invent in every work,
And I have filled him [the] spirit of God with skill and with understanding and with knowledge and with all workmanship.
4 and to frame works, to labour in gold, and silver, and brass, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet,
To design designs to work in gold and in silver and in bronze.
5 and works in stone, and for artificers' work in wood, to work at all works.
And in carving of stone to fill and in carving of wood to work in all workmanship.
6 And I have appointed him and Eliab the [son] of Achisamach of the tribe of Dan, and to every one understanding in heart I have given understanding; and they shall make all things as many as I have appointed thee, —
And I here! I have appointed with him Oholiab [the] son of Ahisamach of [the] tribe of Dan and in [the] heart of every [person] skillful of heart I have put skill and they will make all that I have commanded you.
7 the tabernacle of witness, and the ark of the covenant, and the propitiatory that is upon it, and the furniture of the tabernacle,
- [the] tent of Meeting and the ark of the testimony and the atonement cover which [will be] on it and all [the] articles of the tent.
8 and the altars, and the table and all its furniture,
And the table and articles its and the lampstand pure and all articles its and [the] altar of incense.
9 and the pure candlestick and all its furniture, and the laver and its base,
And [the] altar of the burnt offering and all articles its and the laver and base its.
10 and Aaron's robes of ministry, and the robes of his sons to minister to me as priests,
And [the] garments of the woven material and [the] garments of the holiness for Aaron the priest and [the] garments of sons his to serve as priests.
11 and the anointing oil and the compound incense of the sanctuary; according to all that I have commanded thee shall they make them.
And [the] oil of anointing and [the] incense of the perfume for the holy place according to all that I have commanded you they will do.
12 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
And he said Yahweh to Moses saying.
13 Do thou also charge the children of Israel, saying, Take heed and keep my sabbaths; [for] they are a sign with me and among you throughout your generations, that ye may know that I am the Lord that sanctifies you.
And you speak to [the] people of Israel saying surely sabbaths my you will observe for [is] a sign it between me and between you to generations your to know that I [am] Yahweh [who] sets apart you.
14 And ye shall keep the sabbaths, because this is holy to the Lord for you; he that profanes it shall surely be put to death: every one who shall do a work on it, that soul shall be destroyed from the midst of his people.
And you will observe the sabbath for [is] a holy thing it to you [those who] profane it certainly he will be put to death for every [one who] does on it work and it will be cut off the person that from [the] midst of kinspeople its.
15 Six days thou shalt do works, but the seventh day is the sabbath, a holy rest to the Lord; every one who shall do a work on the seventh day shall be put to death.
Six days it will be done work and [will be] on the day seventh a sabbath of sabbath observance a holy thing to Yahweh every [one who] does work on [the] day of the sabbath certainly he will be put to death.
16 And the children of Israel shall keep the sabbaths, to observe them throughout their generations.
And they will observe [the] people of Israel the sabbath by celebrating the sabbath to generations their a covenant of perpetuity.
17 It is a perpetual covenant with me and the children of Israel, it is a perpetual sign with me; for in six days the Lord made the heaven and the earth, and on the seventh day he ceased, and rested.
Between me and between [the] people of Israel [is] a sign it for ever for six days he made Yahweh the heavens and the earth and on the day seventh he rested and he refreshed himself.
18 And he gave to Moses when he left off speaking to him in mount Sina the two tables of testimony, tables of stone written [upon] with the finger of God.
And he gave to Moses when finished he to speak with him on [the] mountain of Sinai [the] two [the] tablets of the testimony tablets of stone written by [the] finger of God.
