1 And thou shalt make the altar of incense of incorruptible wood.
Bo-ul hlupnah hmueihtuk na saii vaengah rhining thing mah saii.
2 And thou shalt make it a cubit in length, and a cubit in breadth: it shall be square; and the height of it shall be of two cubits, its horns shall be of the same piece.
Hmueihtuk te a yun dong khat neh a daang dong khat saeh lamtah hniboeng la om saeh. Amah lamloh a ki hil a sang dong nit lo saeh.
3 And thou shalt gild its grate with pure gold, and its sides round about, and its horns; and thou shalt make for it a wreathen border of gold round-about.
Te te a imphu khaw, a pangbueng neh a ki khaw, sui cilh neh pin ben thil. Te te a khopnah khaw sui neh pin saii.
4 And thou shalt make under its wreathen border two rings of pure gold; thou shalt make it to the two corners on the two sides, and they shall be bearings for the staves, so as to bear it with them.
A vae rhoi kah a khopnah hmui ah sui kutcaeng panit saii pah. A vae rhoi kah na saii phoeiah tah te kah te hmueihtuk aka kawt ham thingpang rholhnah la om saeh.
5 And thou shalt make the staves of incorruptible wood, and shalt gild them with gold.
Thingpang te rhining thing saii lamtah sui neh ben thil.
6 And thou shalt set it before the veil that is over the ark of the testimonies, wherein I will make myself known to thee from thence.
Hmueihtuk te olphong sokah a tlaeng hmai, olphong thingkawng taengkah hniyan hmai ah khueh. Te ah ni nang te pahoi kan tuentah eh.
7 And Aaron shall burn upon it fine compound incense every morning; whensoever he trims the lamps he shall burn incense upon it.
Te dongah te Aaron loh mincang, mincang ah bo-ul botui phum saeh. Te te a rhoekbah vaengah khaw hmaithoi te tok saeh.
8 And when Aaron lights the lamps in the evening, he shall burn incense upon it; a constant incense-offering always before the Lord for their generations.
Aaron loh hlaemhmah kah hmaithoi a vang vaengah khaw bo-ul te phum saeh. Te te na cadilcahma ham khaw BOEIPA mikhmuh ah saii yoeyah saeh.
9 And thou shalt not offer strange incense upon it, [nor] and offering made by fire, [nor] a sacrifice; and thou shalt not pour a drink-offering upon it.
Te soah te kholong kah bo-ul neh hmueihhlutnah khaw khocang khaw khuen boeh. Te soah tuisi khaw doeng boeh.
10 And once in the year Aaron shall make atonement on its horns, he shall purge it with the blood of purification for their generations: it is most holy to the Lord.
Aaron loh kum khat ah vai tah hmueihtuk ki dongah boirhaem thii neh dawth saeh. Kum khat ah vai tah hmueihtuk dongah na cadilcahma ham dawthnah neh dawth pah saeh. Te tah BOEIPA ham a cim kah a cim koek ni.
11 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Te phoeiah BOEIPA loh Moses te a voek tih,
12 If thou take account of the children of Israel in the surveying of them, and they shall give every one a ransom for his soul to the Lord, then there shall not be among them a destruction in the visiting of them.
Israel ca rhoek kah hlangmi te tae lamtah amih te soep. Te vaengah hlang boeih loh a hinglu kah tlansum te BOEIPA taengah pae uh saeh. Amih te ming a soep daengah ni a soep vanbangla tlohthae loh amih soah a om pawt eh.
13 And this is what they shall give, as many as pass the survey, half a didrachm which is according to the didrachm of the sanctuary: twenty oboli [go to] the didrachm, but the half of the didrachm is the offering to the Lord.
Ming soep ham aka paan boeih loh gerah pakul neh aka tluk hmuencim shekel te shekel ngancawn ah pae uh saeh. Shekel khat dong shekel rhakthuem he BOEIPA kah khosaa ni.
14 Every one that passes the survey from twenty years old and upwards shall give the offering to the Lord.
Ming soep ham aka paan kum kul ca neh a so boeih long tah BOEIPA taengah khosaa pae saeh.
15 The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than the half didrachm in giving the offering to the Lord, to make atonement for your souls.
Na hinglu dawth ham BOEIPA kah khosaa na khueh te shekel pakhat kah rhakthuem lakah hlanglen long khaw pueh boel saeh lamtah tattloel long khaw hnop boel saeh.
16 And thou shalt take the money of the offering from the children of Israel, and shalt give it for the service of the tabernacle of testimony; and it shall be to the children of Israel a memorial before the Lord, to make atonement for your souls.
Israel ca rhoek taeng lamkah dawthnah tangka na doe te tingtunnah dap ah thothuengnah ham pae. Na hinglu aka dawth ham te BOEIPA mikhmuh ah Israel ca rhoek kah poekkoepnah la om saeh,” a ti nah.
17 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Te phoeiah BOEIPA loh Moses te a voek tih,
18 Make a brazen laver, and a brazen base for it, for washing; and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of witness and the altar, and thou shalt pour forth water into it.
Silh vaengkah ham rhohum baeldung khaw saii lamtah a kho khaw rhohum saeh. Te te tingtunnah dap laklo neh hmueihtuk laklo ah hol lamtah tui pahoi tawn thil.
19 And Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet with water from it.
Te lamlong te Aaron neh anih koca rhoek loh a kut, a kho sil uh saeh.
20 Whensoever they shall go into the tabernacle of witness, they shall wash themselves with water, so they shall not die, whensoever they advance to the altar to do service and to offer the whole burnt-offerings to the Lord.
Tingtunnah dap im khuila a kun uh vaengah tui hlu uh saeh. Te daengah ni BOEIPA taengah hmaihlutnah phum ham neh thohtat ham hmueihtuk la a thoeih vaengah a duek uh pawt eh.
21 They shall wash their hands and feet with water, whensoever they shall go into the tabernacle of witness; they shall wash themselves with water, that they die not; and it shall be for them a perpetual statute, for him and his posterity after him.
A kut a kho te a silh uh daengah ni a. duek uh pawt eh. Te dongah amah ham neh a tiingan ham khaw, a cadilcahma ham khaw kumhal kah oltlueh la amih taengah om saeh,” a ti nah.
22 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
BOEIPA loh Moses te a voek bal tih,
23 Do thou also take sweet herbs, the flower of choice myrrh five hundred shekels, and the half of this two hundred and fifty shekels of sweet-smelling cinnamon, and two hundred and fifty shekels of sweet-smelling calamus,
“Namah bal loh namah ham boeilu botui murrah pi ya nga, thingsa botui yahnih sawmnga ngancawn, canhnam botui yahnih sawmnga,
24 and of cassia five hundred shekels of the sanctuary, and a hin of olive oil.
valaeng khaw hmuencim kah shekel dongah ya nga neh olive situi bunang khat ah lo laeh.
25 And thou shalt make it a holy anointing oil, a perfumed ointment [tempered] by the art of the perfumer: it shall be a holy anointing oil.
Te phoeiah aka thungnom bibi kah yuhnah si bangla hmuencim koelhnah situi he saii lamtah hmuencim kah koelhnah situi la om saeh.
26 And thou shalt anoint with it the tabernacle of witness, and the ark of the tabernacle of witness,
Te nen te tingtunnah dap neh olphong thingkawng khaw,
27 and all its furniture, and the candlestick and all its furniture, and the altar of incense,
caboei neh a tubael boeih khaw, hmaitung neh a tubael khaw, bo-ul hmueihtuk khaw,
28 and the altar of whole burnt-offerings and all its furniture, and the table and all its furniture, and the laver.
hmueihhlutnah hmueihtuk neh a hnopai boeih khaw, baeldung neh a kho te koelh pah.
29 And thou shalt sanctify them, and they shall be most holy: every one that touches them shall be hallowed.
Te rhoek te na ciim tangloeng daengah ni a. cim kah a cim la a om tih te te aka ben boeih khaw a cimcaih eh.
30 And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and sanctify them that they may minister to me as priests.
Aaron neh anih koca rhoek khaw koelh lamtah kamah taengah khosoih sak ham amih te ciim laeh.
31 And thou shalt speak to the children of Israel, saying, This shall be to you a holy anointing oil throughout your generations.
Israel ca te khaw thui pah lamtah, “Hmuencim kah koelhnah situi he tah na cadilcahma duela kamah taengah om saeh,”ti nah.
32 On man's flesh it shall not be poured, and ye shall not make [any] for yourselves according to this composition: it is holy, and shall be holiness to you.
Hlang pum dongah yuh nah boel saeh lamtah te kah a lantang neh te bang te saii boeh. Te kah a cim te nangmih taengah khaw a cim la om saeh.
33 Whosoever shall make it in like manner, and whosoever shall give of it to a stranger, shall be destroyed from among his people.
Te bang aka thungnom tih kholong taengah te aka pae hlang te tah a pilnam lamloh hnawt saeh,” a ti nah.
34 And the Lord said to Moses, Take for thyself sweet herbs, stacte, onycha, sweet galbanum, and transparent frankincense; there shall be an equal weight of each.
Te phoeiah BOEIPA loh Moses te, “Namah ham botui aangpi neh khawphlawp khaw, botui tlangsungsing neh hmueihtui cil lo lamtah amah, amah om saeh.
35 And they shall make with it perfumed incense, tempered with the art of a perfumer, a pure holy work.
Te te thungnom kutci loh cilrhik la a thoek, yuhnah bo-ul cim la saii.
36 And of these thou shalt beat some small, and thou shalt put it before the testimonies in the tabernacle of testimony, whence I will make myself known to thee: it shall be to you a most holy incense.
Te te a tip la neet lamtah tingtunnah dap khuikah olphong hmai ah khueh. Te ah te nang kan tuentah vetih nangmih ham hmuencim kah hmuencim koek la om ni.
37 Ye shall not make any for yourselves according to this composition; it shall be to you a holy thing for the Lord.
Te bo-ul na saii vaengkah a lan a tang neh namah ham saii boeh. BOEIPA ham namah taengah a cim om.
38 Whosoever shall make any in like manner, so as to smell it, shall perish from his people.
Te te him ham te bang aka saii hlang te a pilnam lamloh hnawt saeh,” a ti nah.
