< Kings II 9 >

1 And David said, Is there yet any one left in the house of Saul, that I may deal kindly with him for Jonathan's sake?
And he said David ¿ for [is] there still [one] who he is left to [the] house of Saul so I may do with him covenant loyalty for sake of Jonathan.
2 And there was a servant of the house of Saul, and his name was Siba: and they call him to David; and the king said to him, Art thou Siba? and he said, I [am] thy servant.
And [belonged] to [the] house of Saul a servant and name his [was] Ziba and people summoned him to David and he said the king to him ¿ [are] you Ziba and he said servant your.
3 And the king said, Is there yet a man left of the house of Saul, that I may act towards him with the mercy of God? and Siba said to the king, There is yet a son of Jonathan, lame [of] his feet.
And he said the king ¿ [is] there not still anyone of [the] house of Saul so I may do with him [the] covenant loyalty of God and he said Ziba to the king still a son of Jonathan stricken of both feet.
4 And the king said, Where [is] he? and Siba said to the king, Behold, [he is] in the house of Machir the son of Amiel of Lodabar.
And he said to him the king where? [is] he and he said Ziba to the king here! he [is] [the] house of Makir [the] son of Ammiel in Lo Debar.
5 And king David went, and took him out of the house of Machir the son Amiel of Lodabar.
And he sent the king David and he took him from [the] house of Makir [the] son of Ammiel from Lo Debar.
6 And Memphibosthe the son of Jonathan the son of Saul comes to the king David, and he fell upon his face and did obeisance to him: and David said to him, Memphibosthe: and he said, Behold thy servant.
And he came Mephibosheth [the] son of Jonathan [the] son of Saul to David and he fell on face his and he bowed down and he said David O Mephibosheth and he said here! [is] servant your.
7 And David said to him, Fear not, for I will surely deal mercifully with thee for the sake of Jonathan thy father, and I will restore to thee all the land of Saul the father of thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.
And he said to him David may not you be afraid for certainly I will do with you covenant loyalty for sake of Jonathan father your and I will restore to you all [the] land of Saul father your and you you will eat food on table my continually.
8 And Memphibosthe did obeisance, and said, Who am I thy servant, that thou hast looked upon a dead dog like me?
And he bowed down and he said what? [is] servant your that you have turned to the dog dead who [is] like me.
9 And the king called Siba the servant of Saul, and said to him, All that belonged to Saul and to all his house have I given to the son of thy lord.
And he summoned the king Ziba [the] servant of Saul and he said to him all that it belonged to Saul and to all household his I have given to [the] son of master your.
10 And thou, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him; and thou shalt bring in bread to the son of thy lord, and he shall eat bread: and Memphibosthe the son of thy lord shall eat bread continually at my table. Now Siba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
And you will work for him the land you and sons your and servants your and you will bring and it will be for [the] son of master your food and he will eat it and Mephibosheth [the] son of master your he will eat continually food on table my and [belonged] to Ziba fif-teen sons and twenty servants.
11 And Siba said to the king, According to all that my lord the king has commanded his servant, so will thy servant do. And Memphibosthe did eat at the table of David, as one of the sons of the king.
And he said Ziba to the king according to all that he will command lord my the king servant his so he will do servant your and Mephibosheth [was] eating on table my like one from [the] children of the king.
12 And Memphibosthe had a little son, and his name [was] Micha: and all the household of Siba [were] servants to Memphibosthe.
And [belonged] to Mephibosheth a son young and name his [was] Mica and every resident of [the] house of Ziba [were] servants of Mephibosheth.
13 And Memphibosthe dwelt in Jerusalem, for he continually ate at the table of the king; and he was lame in both his feet.
And Mephibosheth [was] dwelling in Jerusalem for on [the] table of the king continually he [was] eating and he ([was] lame *LA(bh)*) [the] two feet his.
