< Kings IV 2 >
1 And it came to pass, when the Lord was going to take Eliu with a whirlwind as it were into heaven, that Eliu and Elisaie went out of Galgala.
Da lokaci ya yi da Ubangiji zai ɗauki Iliya zuwa sama cikin guguwa, Iliya da Elisha kuwa suna kan hanyarsu daga Gilgal.
2 And Eliu said to Elisaie, Stay here, I pray thee; for God has sent me to Baethel. And Elisaie said, [As] the Lord lives and thy soul lives, I will not leave thee; so they came to Baethel.
Sai Iliya ya ce wa Elisha, “Ka dakata a nan; Ubangiji ya aike ni Betel.” Amma Elisha ya amsa ya ce, “Muddin Ubangiji yana a raye, kai kuma kana a raye, ba zan rabu da kai ba.” Saboda haka suka gangara zuwa Betel.
3 And the sons of the prophets who were in Baethel came to Elisaie, and said to him, Dost thou know, that the Lord this day is going to take thy lord away from thy head? And he said, Yea, I know [it]; be silent.
Sai ƙungiyar annabawa a Betel suka fito zuwa wajen Elisha suka ce masa, “Ka san cewa Ubangiji zai ɗauki maigidanka daga wurinka yau?” Sai ya ce, “I, na sani, amma kada ku yi magana game da wannan.”
4 And Eliu said to Elisaie, Stay here, I pray thee; for the Lord has sent me to Jericho. And he said, [As] the Lord lives and thy soul lives, I will not leave thee. And they came to Jericho.
Sai Iliya ya ce masa, “Ka dakata a nan Elisha; Ubangiji ya aike ni Yeriko.” Sai ya ce masa, “Muddin Ubangiji yana a raye, kai ma kana a raye, ba zan rabu da kai ba.” Saboda haka sai suka tafi Yeriko.
5 And the sons of the prophets who were in Jericho drew near to Elisaie, and said to him, Dost thou know that the Lord is about to take away thy master to-day from thy head? And he said, Yea, I know [it]; hold your peace.
Ƙungiyar annabawa a Yeriko suka haura zuwa wajen Elisha suka ce, “Ko ka san Ubangiji zai ɗauki maigidanka daga gare ka yau?” Sai ya ce, “I, na sani, amma ku bar zancen nan tukuna.”
6 And Eliu said to him, Stay here, I pray thee, for the Lord has sent me to Jordan. And Elisaie said, [As] the Lord lives and thy soul lives, I will not leave thee: and they both went on.
Sai Iliya ya ce masa, “Ka dakata a nan, Ubangiji ya aike ni Urdun.” Sai Elisha ya ce masa, “Muddin Ubangiji yana a raye, kai kuma kana raye, ba zan rabu da kai ba.” Saboda haka suka ci gaba da tafiya tare.
7 And fifty men of the sons of the prophets [went also], and they stood opposite afar off: and both stood on [the bank] of Jordan.
Mutum hamsin na ƙungiyar annabawa suka je suka tsaya da nisa, suna fuskantar inda Iliya da Elisha suka tsaya a Urdun.
8 And Eliu took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the water: and the water was divided on this side and on that side, and they both went over on dry ground.
Sai Iliya ya tuɓe rigarsa, ya nannaɗe ya bugi ruwan Urdun da shi. Sai ruwan ya dāre gida biyu, suka haye a busasshiyar ƙasa.
9 And it came to pass while they were crossing over, that Eliu said to Elisaie, Ask what I shall do for thee before I am taken up from thee. And Elisaie said, Let there be, I pray thee, a double [portion] of thy spirit upon me.
Da suka haye, sai Iliya ya ce wa Elisha, “Faɗi mini, abin da kake so in yi maka kafin a ɗauke ni daga gare ka!” Elisha ya amsa ya ce, “Bari in gāji ninki biyu na ruhunka.”
10 And Eliu said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: if thou shalt see me when I am taken up from thee, then shall it be so to thee; and if not, it shall not be [so].
Iliya ya ce, “Ka nemi abu mai wuya, amma in ka ga lokacin da aka ɗauke ni daga gare ka, zai zama naka, in ba haka ba, ba za ka samu ba ke nan.”
11 And it came to pass as they were going, they went on talking; and, behold, a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and it separated between them both; and Eliu was taken up in a whirlwind as it were into heaven.
Yayinda suke tafiya suna magana, sai kwatsam, keken yaƙin wuta da dawakan wuta suka ratse tsakaninsu, sai Iliya ya tafi sama a cikin guguwa.
12 And Elisaie saw, and cried, Father, father, the chariot of Israel, and the horseman thereof! And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his garments, and rent them into two pieces.
Da Elisha ya ga haka sai ya yi ihu yana cewa, “Babana! Babana! Kekunan yaƙin da mahayan dawakan Isra’ila!” Elisha kuwa bai sāke ganinsa ba. Sai ya kama tufafinsa ya yayyage.
13 And Elisaie took up the mantle of Eliu, which fell from off him upon Elisaie; and Elisaie returned, and stood upon the brink of Jordan;
Sai ya ɗauki rigar da ta fāɗo daga Iliya ya koma ya tsaya a gaɓar Kogin Urdun.
14 and he took the mantle of Eliu, which fell from off him, and smote the water, and said, Where is the Lord God of Eliu? and he smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither; and Elisaie went over.
Sa’an nan Elisha ya ɗauki rigar da ta fāɗo daga Iliya ya bugi ruwan da shi. Ya ce, “Yanzu ina Ubangiji Allah na Iliya?” Da ya bugi ruwan sai ruwan ya dāre gida biyu, sai ya haye.
15 And the sons of the prophets who were in Jericho on the opposite side saw him, and said, The spirit of Eliu has rested upon Elisaie. And they came to meet him, and did obeisance to him to the ground.
Ƙungiyar annabawa daga Yeriko, waɗanda suke kallo, suka ce, “Ruhun Iliya yana a kan Elisha.” Sai suka je su tarye shi, suka rusuna har ƙasa a gabansa.
16 And they said to him, Behold now, [there are] with thy servants fifty men of strength: let them go now, and seek thy lord: peradventure the Spirit of the Lord has taken him up, and cast him into Jordan, or on one of the mountains, or on one of the hills. And Elisaie said, Ye shall not send.
Suka ce, “Duba, mu bayinka muna da masu ji da ƙarfi hamsin. Bari su je su nemi maigidanka. Wataƙila, Ruhun Ubangiji ya ɗauke shi ya ajiye bisa wani dutse, ko wani kwari.” Elisha ya ce, “A’a, kada ku aike su.”
17 And they pressed him until he was ashamed; and he said, Send. And they sent fifty men, and sought three days, and found him not.
Amma suka matsa masa har ya ji ba ya iya hana su. Saboda haka ya ce, “Ku aike su.” Sai suka aiki mutane hamsin, suka yi ta nema har kwana uku amma ba su same Iliya ba.
18 And they returned to him, for he dwelt in Jericho: and Elisaie said, Did I not say to you, Go not?
Da suka dawo wurin Elisha, wanda yake a Yeriko, sai ya ce musu, “Ban ce muku kada ku tafi ba?”
19 And the men of the city said to Elisaie, Behold, the situation of the city [is] good, as [our] lord sees; but the waters [are] bad, and the ground barren.
Mutane garin suka ce wa Elisha, “Ranka yă daɗe, duba, garin yana da kyan gani, amma ruwan ba shi da kyau, ƙasar kuma ba ta ba da amfani.”
20 And Elisaie said, Bring me a new pitcher, and put salt in it. And they took [one], and brought [it] to him.
Sai ya ce, “Ku kawo mini sabuwar ƙwarya, ku kuma sa gishiri a ciki.” Sai suka kawo masa.
21 And Elisaie went out to the spring of the waters, and cast salt therein, and says, Thus saith the Lord, I have healed these waters; there shall not be any longer death thence or barren [land].
Sai ya tafi maɓulɓular ruwan yana watsa gishirin a ciki, yana cewa, “Ga abin da Ubangiji ya ce, ‘Na warkar da ruwan nan. Ba zai ƙara jawo mutuwa, ko yă hana ƙasar ba da amfani ba.’”
22 And the waters were healed until this day, according to the word of Elisaie which he spoke.
Ruwan ya tsabtacce har yă zuwa yau, bisa ga faɗin Elisha.
23 And he went up thence to Baethel: and as he was going up by the way there came up also little children from the city, and mocked him, and said to him, Go up, bald-head, go up.
Daga nan sai Elisha ya tafi Betel. Yayinda yake tafiya a hanya, sai waɗansu matasa suka fito daga cikin gari, suka yi masa dariya suna cewa, “Ka haura, ya kai mai kai marar gashi! Ka haura, kai mai kai marar gashi!”
24 And he turned after them, and saw them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And, behold, there came out two bears out of the wood, and they tore forty and two children of them.
Sai ya juya ya dube su, ya la’anta su da sunan Ubangiji. Sai beyar guda biyu suka fito daga jeji suka hallaka matasa arba’in da biyu daga cikinsu.
25 And he went thence to mount Carmel, and returned thence to Samaria.
Sai ya ci gaba zuwa Dutsen Karmel, daga can kuma ya koma Samariya.
