Kings III 4
1 And king Solomon reigned over Israel.
A tak król Salomon był królem nad wszystkim Izraelem.
2 And these [are] the princes which he had; Azarias son of Sadoc.
A teć są książęta, które miał: Azaryjasz, syn Sadoka kapłana.
3 Eliaph, and Achia son of Seba, scribes; and Josaphat son of Achilud, recorder.
Elichoref i Achija, synowie Sysy, byli pisarzami; Jozafat, syn Ahiluda, kanclerzem;
4 And Banaeas son of Jodae over the host; and Sadoc and Abiathar [were] priests.
A Banajas, syn Jojady, był hetmanem; Sadok zaś i Abijatar kapłanami.
5 And Ornia the son of Nathan [was] over the officers; and Zabuth son of Nathan [was] the king's friend.
A Azaryjasz, syn Natana, nad urzędnikami, a Zabud, syn Natana, był książęciem, przyjacielem królewskim.
6 And Achisar was steward, and Eliac the [chief] steward; and Eliab the son of Saph [was] over the family: and Adoniram the son of Audon over the tribute.
Ahisar zaś był przełożony nad domem, a Adoniram, syn Abdy, nad wybranym ludem.
7 And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, to provide for the king and his household; each one's turn came to supply for a month in the year.
Miał też Salomon dwanaście przełożonych nad wszystkim Izraelem, którzy dodawali żywności królowi i domowi jego. Każdy z nich przez jeden miesiąc w roku królowi żywności dodawał.
8 And these [were] their names: Been the son of Or in the mount of Ephraim, one.
A teć są imiona ich: Syn Hura na górze Efraim;
9 The son of Dacar, in Makes, and in Salabin, and Baethsamys, and Elon as far as Bethanan, one.
Syn Dekara w Makas, i w Salbim, i w Betsames, i w Elon i Bethanan;
10 The son of Esdi in Araboth; his [was] Socho, and all the land of Opher.
Syn Heseda w Arubot, który trzymał Socho i wszystkę ziemię Chefer;
11 All Nephthador [belonged to] the son of Aminadab, Tephath daughter of Solomon was his wife, one.
Syn Abinadaba, który trzymał wszystkie granice Dor, a Tafet, córkę Salomonową, miał za żonę.
12 Bana son of Achiluth [had] Ithaanach, and Mageddo, and [his was] the whole house of San which was by Sesathan below Esrae, and from Bethsan as far as Sabelmaula, as far as Maeber Lucam, one.
Baana, syn Ahiluda, który trzymał Tanach i Magieddo, i wszystko Betsan, które jest podle Sartany pod Jezreelem, od Betsan aż do Abelmehola, aż za Jekmaam.
13 The son of Naber in Raboth Galaad, to him [fell] the lot of Ergab in Basan, sixty great cities with walls, and brazen bars, one.

14 Achinadab son of Saddo, [had] Maanaim.

15 Achimaas [was] in Nephthalim, and he took Basemmath daughter of Solomon to wife, one.
Achimaas w Neftalim, który też pojął Basematę, córkę Salomonową, za żonę.
16 Baana son of Chusi, in Aser and in Baaloth, one,
Baana, syn Husai, w Aser i w Alot.
17 Josaphat son of Phuasud [was] in Issachar.
Jozafat, syn Paruacha, w Isaschar.
18 Semei son of Ela, in Benjamin.
Semej, syn Eli, w Benjamin.
19 Gaber son of Adai in the land of Gad, [the land] of Seon king of Esebon, and of Og king of Basan, and one officer in the land of Juda.
Gaber, syn Ury, w ziemi Galaad i w ziemi Sehona króla Amorejskiego, i Oga króla Basańskiego; a ten sam był rządcą onej ziemi.
20 And thus the officers provided king Solomon: and [they execute] every one in his month all the orders for the table of the king, they omit nothing.
Tedy Juda i Izrael będąc niezliczeni jako piasek, który jest nad morzem w mnóstwie, jedli, i pili, i weselili się.
21 And they carried the barley and the straw for the horses and the chariots to the place where the king might be, each according to his charge.
A Salomon panował nad wszystkiemi królestwy od rzeki aż do ziemi Filistyńskiej, i aż do granicy Egipskiej. I przynosili dary, a służyli Salomonowi po wszystkie dni żywota jego.
22 And these [were] the requisite supplies for Solomon: in one day thirty measures of fine flour, and sixty measures of fine pounded meal,
A tenci był rozchód Salomona na każdy dzień, trzydzieści korcy mąki białej, i sześćdziesiąt korcy innej mąki.
23 and ten choice calves, and twenty pastured oxen, and a hundred sheep, besides stags, and choice fatted does.
Dziesięć wołów karmnych, i dwadzieścia wołów pastewnych, i sto owiec, oprócz jeleni i sarn, i bawołów, i ptastwa karmnego.
24 For he had dominion on this side the river, and he was at peace on all sides round about.
Albowiem on panował wszędy z tej strony rzeki od Tasfa aż do Gazy nad wszystkimi królmi, którzy byli przed rzeką, a miał pokój ze wszystkich stron w około.
I mieszkał Juda i Izrael bezpiecznie, każdy pod winną macicą swoją, i pod figą swoją, od Dan aż do Beerseba, po wszystkie dni Salomonowe.
Miał też Salomon czterdzieści tysięcy koni na staniu do wozów swoich, a dwanaście tysięcy jezdnych.
A tak podejmowali oni przełożeni króla Salomona, i wszystkie, którzy przychodzili do stołu króla Salomona, każdy miesiąca swego, nie dopuszczając, aby na czem schodzić miało.
Jęczmień także, i plewy dla koni i mułów, zwozili na to miejsce, gdzie był król, każdy według tego, jako mu postanowiono.
29 And the Lord gave understanding to Solomon, and very much wisdom, and enlargement of heart, as the sand on the seashore.
Nadto dał Bóg Salomonowi mądrość i roztropność bardzo wielką, a przestronność serca, jako piasek, który jest na brzegu morskim.
30 And Solomon abounded greatly beyond the wisdom of all the ancients, and beyond all the wise men of Egypt.
Albowiem większa była mądrość Salomonowa, niżli mądrość wszystkich narodów wschodnich, i niżli wszelka mądrość Egipczanów.
31 And he was wiser than all [other] men: and he was wiser than Gaethan the Zarite, and [than] Aenan, and [than] Chalcad and Darala the son of Mal.
Owszem mędrszym był nad wszystkie ludzie, aż i nad Etana Ezrahytę, i nad Hemana, i Chalkola, i Darda, syny Maholowe; a był sławny u wszystkich narodów okolicznych.
32 And Solomon spoke three thousand proverbs, and his songs were five thousand.
Nadto złożył trzy tysiące przypowieści, a pieśni jego było tysiąc i pięć.
33 And he spoke of trees, from the cedar in Libanus even to the hyssop which comes out through the wall: he spoke also of cattle, and of birds, and of reptiles, and of fishes.
Rozprawiał też o drzewach, począwszy od cedru, który jest na Libanie, aż do hizopu, który wyrasta z ściany. Mówił też o zwierzętach i o ptakach, i o gadzinach, i o rybach.
34 And all the nations came to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and [ambassadors] from all the kings of the earth, as many as heard of his wisdom.
Przetoż przychodzili ze wszystkich narodów słuchać mądrości Salomonowej, i od wszystkich królów ziemi, którzy słyszeli o mądrości jego.
