Kings III 13
1 And behold, there came a man of God out of Juda by the word of the Lord to Baethel, and Jeroboam stood at the altar to sacrifice.
၁ထိုအခါ ယေရောဗောင် သည် နံ့သာပေါင်းကို မီးရှို့ ခြင်းငှါ ယဇ် ပလ္လင်နား မှာရပ် နေစဉ်တွင်၊ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ လူ တယောက်သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်အတိုင်း ၊ ယုဒ ပြည်မှ ဗေသလ မြို့သို့ ရောက် လာ၍၊
2 And he cried against the altar by the word of the Lord, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the Lord, Behold, a son is [to be] born to the house of David, Josias by name; and he shall offer upon thee the priests of the high places, [even] of them that sacrifice upon thee, and [he] shall burn men's bones upon thee.
၂ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်အတိုင်း ယဇ် ပလ္လင်တဘက် ၌ ကြွေးကြော် လျက် ၊ အိုယဇ် ပလ္လင်၊ ယဇ် ပလ္လင်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ဒါဝိဒ် မင်း မျိုး ၌ ယောရှိ အမည် ရှိသောသူကို ဘွားမြင် လိမ့်မည်။ သင့် အပေါ် မှာ နံ့သာပေါင်းကို မီးရှို့ ၍၊ မြင့် သောအရပ်၌ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် လုပ်သောသူတို့ကို ထိုသူသည် သင့် အပေါ် မှာပူဇော် ၍ ၊ လူ သေအရိုး တို့ကို မီးရှို့ လိမ့်မည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူကြောင်းကို ဆင့်ဆို၏။
3 And in that day one shall give a sign, saying, This [is] the word which the Lord has spoken, saying, Behold, the altar is rent, and the fatness upon it shall be poured out.
၃ထို နေ့ခြင်းတွင် ပုပ္ပ နိမိတ်ကိုလည်း ပေး ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသော ပုပ္ပ နိမိတ်ဟူမူကား ၊ ယဇ် ပလ္လင် သည် ကွဲ ၍ ပလ္လင်ပေါ် မှာရှိသော ပြာ လည်း ယိုကျ လိမ့်မည်ဟု ဟော လေ၏။
4 And it came to pass when king Jeroboam heard the words of the man of God who called on the altar that was in Baethel, that the king stretched forth his hand from the altar, saying, Take hold of him. And, behold, his hand, which he stretched forth against him, withered, and he could not draw it back to himself.
၄ထိုသို့ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ လူ သည် ဗေသလ မြို့ ယဇ် ပလ္လင်တဘက် ၌ ကြွေးကြော် သော စကား ကို ယေရောဗောင်မင်းကြီး သည် ကြား လျှင် ၊ ယဇ် ပလ္လင်ပေါ် မှာရှိသော မိမိ လက် ကိုဆန့် ၍ ထိုသူ ကို ဘမ်းဆီး ကြဟုဆို လျက်၊ ဆန့် သော လက် သည် သွေ့ခြောက် ၍ နောက် တဖန် မ ရုပ်နိုင်။။
5 And the altar was rent, and the fatness was poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God gave by the word of the Lord.
၅ဘုရားသခင် ၏ လူ သည်ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်အတိုင်း ပေး သော ပုပ္ပ နိမိတ်နှင့်အညီ ယဇ် ပလ္လင် ကွဲ ၍ ၊ ပြာ သည်လည်း ပလ္လင် ပေါ်က ယိုကျ လေ၏။
6 And king Jeroboam said to the man of God, Intreat the Lord thy God, and let my hand be restored to me. And the man of God intreated the Lord, and he restored the king's hand to him, and it became as before.
၆ရှင် ဘုရင်ကလည်း၊ ငါ့ လက် ၌ ရောက်သောရောဂါကို ပျောက်စေမည်အကြောင်း ၊ ငါ့ အတွက် ပဌနာ ပြု ၍ သင် ၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ တောင်းပန် ပါလော့ဟုဘုရားသခင် ၏ လူ ကို ပြောဆို ၏။ ဘုရားသခင် ၏လူ သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ကို တောင်းပန် သဖြင့် ၊ ရှင်ဘုရင် လက် သည် ရောဂါပျောက်၍ ပကတိ အတိုင်း ဖြစ် လေ၏။
7 And the king said to the man of God, Enter with me into the house, and dine, and I will give thee a gift.
၇ရှင် ဘုရင်ကလည်း ၊ ငါ နှင့်အတူ လိုက် ၍ အားဖြည့် လော့။ လက်ဆောင် ပေး မည်ဟု ဘုရားသခင် ၏ လူ အား ဆို လျှင်၊
8 And the man of God said to the king, If thou shouldest give me the half of thine house, I would not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread, neither will I drink water in this place; for thus the Lord charged me by [his] word, saying,
၈ဘုရားသခင် ၏လူ က၊ နန်း တော်တဝက် ကိုပေး သော်လည်း သင် နှင့်အတူ ငါမ လိုက်။ ဤ အရပ် ၌ မုန့် ကိုမ စား ၊ ရေ ကိုလည်း မ သောက် ရ။
9 Eat no bread, and drink no water, and return not by the way by which thou camest.
၉ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်က၊ မုန့် ကို မ စား နှင့်။ ရေ ကို မ သောက် နှင့်။ လာ သော လမ်း ဖြင့် မ ပြန် နှင့်ဟု ငါ့ အား ပညတ် တော်မူပြီဟု ရှင်ဘုရင် အား ပြောဆို ၏။
10 So he departed by another way, and returned not by the way by which he came to Baethel.
၁၀ထိုနောက် ဗေသလ မြို့သို့ လာ သော လမ်း ကို ရှောင် ၍ အခြား သောလမ်း ဖြင့် ပြန် သွား၏။
11 And there dwelt an old prophet in Baethel; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God did on that day in Baethel, and the words which he spoke to the king: and they turned the face of their father.
၁၁ထိုကာလ၌ ဗေသလ မြို့တွင် အသက် ကြီးသော ပရောဖက် တယောက် ရှိ ၏။ သူ ၏သား တို့သည်လာ ၍ ဘုရားသခင် ၏လူ သည် ထိုနေ့ ၌ ဗေသလ မြို့မှာ ပြု သော အမှု ရှိသမျှ နှင့် ရှင်ဘုရင် အား ပြော သော စကား များကို အဘ အား ပြန်ကြား လျှင်၊
12 And their father spoke to them, saying, Which way went he? and his sons shew him the way by which the man of God who came out of Juda went up.
၁၂ယုဒ ပြည်မှ လာ သော ဘုရားသခင် ၏ လူ သည် အဘယ်လမ်း ဖြင့် ပြန်သွား သည်ကို မြင် ကြသောကြောင့် ၊ အဘ က ထိုသူသည် အဘယ် လမ်း ဖြင့်ပြန်သွား သနည်းဟုမေး ပြီးလျှင်၊
13 And he said to his sons, Saddle me the ass: and they saddled him the ass, and he mounted it,
၁၃မြည်း ကို ကုန်းနှီး တင်ကြလော့ဟု ဆို သည် အတိုင်း ၊ သား တို့သည် မြည်း ကိုကုန်းနှီး တင်၍ အဘသည် စီး သွားလျက်၊
14 and went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said to him, Art thou the man of God that came out of Juda? And he said to him, I [am].
၁၄ဘုရားသခင် ၏ လူ ကိုလိုက် လေ၏။ သပိတ် ပင် အောက် မှာထိုင် လျက် ရှိသည်ကိုတွေ့ လျှင် ၊ သင် သည် ယုဒ ပြည်မှ လာ သော ဘုရားသခင် ၏ လူ မှန် သလောဟုမေး သော် ၊ ငါ မှန်သည်ဟု ပြန်ဆို ၏။
15 And he said to him, Come with me, and eat bread.
၁၅ပရောဖက်ကလည်း၊ ငါ နှင့်အတူ ငါ့အိမ် သို့ လိုက် ၍ မုန့် ကို စား ပါလော့ဟု ခေါ်ပင့်လျှင်၊
16 And he said, I shall not by any means be able to return with thee, neither will I eat bread, neither will I drink water in this place.
၁၆ငါသည် သင် နှင့်အတူ မ လိုက် ရ၊ သင့်အိမ်သို့မဝင်ရ။ ဤ အရပ် ၌ မုန့် ကိုမ စား ၊ ရေ ကိုလည်း မ သောက် ရ။
17 For thus the Lord commanded me by word, saying, Eat not bread there, and drink not water, and return not thither by the way by which thou camest.
၁၇ထာဝရဘုရား က၊ ထို အရပ်၌ မုန့် ကိုမ စား နှင့်။ ရေ ကိုမ သောက် နှင့်။ လာ သော လမ်း ဖြင့် မ ပြန် နှင့်ဟု ငါ့ အား မိန့် တော်မူကြောင်းကို ပြောဆို ၏။
18 And he said to him, I also am a prophet as thou [art]; and an angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord, saying, Bring him back to thee into thy house, and let him eat bread and drink water: but he lied to him.
၁၈ပရောဖက်ကလည်း ၊ ငါ သည် သင် ကဲ့သို့ ပရောဖက် ဖြစ်၏။ သင်သည်မုန့် ကိုစား ၍ ရေ ကိုသောက် စေခြင်းငှါသင့် ကိုငါ့အိမ် သို့ ခေါ် ရမည်အကြောင်း၊ ကောင်းကင် တမန်သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော် အားဖြင့် မှာ ထားပြီဟု မုသာ သုံး၍ ပြောဆို ၏။
19 And he brought him back, and he ate bread and drank water in his house.
၁၉ထိုကြောင့် ဘုရားသခင်၏လူသည် ပရောဖက် နှင့်အတူ ပြန် လာ၍ ၊ သူ ၏အိမ် မှာ မုန့် ကိုစား ၏။ ရေ ကို လည်း သောက် ၏။
20 And it came to pass while they were sitting at the table, that the word of the Lord came to the prophet that brought him back;
၂၀ထိုသူ နှစ်ပါးတို့သည် စားပွဲ နား မှာ ထိုင် စဉ်တွင် ၊ ခေါ် ခဲ့သော ပရောဖက် သို့ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်သည် ရောက် ၍၊
21 and he spoke to the man of God that came out of Juda, saying, Thus saith the Lord, Because thou hast resisted the word of the Lord, and hast not kept the commandment which the Lord thy God commanded thee,
၂၁ယုဒ ပြည်မှ လာ သော ဘုရားသခင် ၏လူ အား ၊ သင်သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏နှုတ်တော် ထွက်ကို နား မထောင်၊ သင် ၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ထား တော်မူသော ပညတ် တော်ကို မ စောင့်၊
22 but hast returned, and eaten bread and drunk water in the place of which he spoke to thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat bread, and shalt not drink water; [therefore] thy body shall in nowise enter into the sepulchre of thy fathers.
၂၂ဤမည်သောအရပ်၌ မုန့် ကိုမ စား နှင့်။ ရေ ကို မ သောက် နှင့်ဟု ပညတ် တော်မူသော အရပ် သို့ ပြန် လာ၍ မုန့် နှင့် ရေ ကိုစား သောက် သောကြောင့် ၊ သင် ၏အလောင်း သည် ဘိုးဘေး တို့၏ သင်္ချိုင်း သို့ မ ရောက် ရဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူကြောင်း ကို အော်ဟစ် ၍ ဆင့်ဆို ၏။
23 And it came to pass after he had eaten bread and drunk water, that he saddled the ass for him, and he turned and departed.
၂၃မုန့် နှင့် ရေကို စား သောက် ပြီးမှ ၊ ထိုပရောဖက်သည် ပြန် လာသော ပရောဖက် အဘို့ မိမိမြည်း ကို ကုန်းနှီး တင်၍ လွှတ်လိုက်လေ၏။
24 And a lion found him in the way, and slew him; and his body was cast out in the way, and the ass was standing by it, and the lion [also] was standing by the body.
၂၄လမ်း မှာ ခြင်္သေ့ တွေ့ ၍ သတ် ၏။ အသေ ကောင်သည် လမ်း ၌ လဲ ၍ ၊ မြည်း နှင့် ခြင်္သေ့ သည် အနား မှာ ရပ် နေ၏။
25 And, behold, men [were] passing by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion was standing near the carcase: and they went in and spoke [of it] in the city where the old prophet dwelt.
၂၅အသေ ကောင်သည် လမ်း ၌ လဲ ၍ မြည်းနှင့်ခြင်္သေ့ သည် အနား မှာ ရပ် နေသည်ကို ခရီး သွားသောသူတို့ သည် မြင် လျှင် ၊ အသက် ကြီးသော ပရောဖက် နေ သော မြို့ သို့ လာ ၍ သိတင်း ပြောကြ၏။
26 And [the prophet] that turned him back out of the way heard, and said, This is the man of God who rebelled against the word of the Lord.
၂၆ခေါ် ခဲ့သော ပရောဖက် သည် ထိုသိတင်းကိုကြား လျှင် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အမိန့် တော်ကို နား မထောင်သော ဘုရားသခင် ၏ လူ ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ထိုသူ အား မိန့် တော်မူသော စကား အတိုင်း ၊ သူ့ ကိုခြင်္သေ့ ၌ အပ် တော်မူသဖြင့် ၊ ခြင်္သေ့သည် ကိုက် သတ် လေပြီတကား ဟု ဆို လျက်၊
27 [And he spoke to his sons, saying, Saddle me the ass, and they saddled it. ]
၂၇မြည်း ပေါ်မှာ ကုန်းနှီး ကို တင်ကြလော့ဟု သား တို့အား ဆို သည်အတိုင်း သူတို့သည် ကုန်းနှီး တင်ကြ၏။
28 And he went and found the body cast in the way, and the ass and the lion were standing by the body: and the lion had not devoured the body of the man of God, and had not torn the ass.
၂၈ပရောဖက်သွား ၍ အသေ ကောင်သည် လမ်း ၌ လဲ လျက် ၊ မြည်း နှင့် ခြင်္သေ့ သည် အနား မှာ ရပ် နေလျက် ရှိသည်ကိုတွေ့ ၏။ ခြင်္သေ့ သည် အသေ ကောင်ကိုမ စား ၊ မြည်း ကိုလည်း မ ကိုက်။
29 And the prophet took up the body of the man of God, and laid it on his ass; and the prophet brought him back to his city, to bury him in his own tomb,
၂၉အသက် ကြီးသော ပရောဖက် သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏လူ အလောင်း ကောင်ကို မြည်း ပေါ် သို့ ချီ ၍ တင် ပြီးလျှင် ငိုကြွေး မြည်တမ်းခြင်းကို ပြု၍ ၊ သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ခြင်းငှါ မိမိမြို့ သို့ ဆောင် သွား၏။
30 and they bewailed him, [saying], Alas, brother.
၃၀အလောင်း ကောင်ကို မိမိ သင်္ချိုင်း တွင်း၌ ထား လျက် ၊ အို ငါ့ ညီ ဟူ၍ငိုကြွေး မြည်တမ်းခြင်းကို ပြု၏။
31 And it came to pass after he had lamented him, that he spoke to his sons, saying, Whenever I die, bury me in this tomb wherein the man of God is buried; lay me by his bones, that my bones may be preserved with his bones.
၃၁သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ပြီးမှ သား တို့ကိုခေါ်၍၊ ငါ သေ သောအခါ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ လူ သင်္ချိုင်း တွင်း၌ သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ကြလော့။ ငါ့ အရိုး တို့ကို သူ့ အရိုး တို့အနား မှာထား ကြလော့။
32 For the word will surely come to pass which he spoke by the word of the Lord against the altar in Baethel, and against the high houses in Samaria.
၃၂ဗေသလ မြို့ယဇ် ပလ္လင်တစ်ဘက် ရှမာရိ မြို့ ရွာတွင် ၊ မြင့် သောအရပ်ပေါ်မှာ ဆောက်သော အိမ် များ တစ်ဘက် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်အတိုင်း ကြွေးကြော် သော စကား သည် စင်စစ်ပြည့်စုံ လိမ့်မည်ဟု မှာ ထားလေ၏။
33 And after this Jeroboam turned not from his sin, but he turned and made of part of the people priests of the [high places]: whoever would, he consecrated him, and he became a priest for the high places.
၃၃ထိုနောက်မှ ယေရောဗောင် သည် မိမိ အဓမ္မ လမ်း ကို မ ရှောင်။ သာမညလူ တို့ကို မြင့် သောအရပ်တွင် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အရာ၌ ထပ်၍ ခန့်ထား ၏။ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်လုပ်ချင် သောသူ ရှိသမျှကို ချီးမြှောက် သဖြင့် ၊ သူတို့သည် မြင့် သောအရပ်တွင် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ဖြစ် ကြ၏။
34 And this thing became sin to the house of Jeroboam, even to its destruction and its removal from the face of the earth.
၃၄ထိုသို့ ပြုသောကြောင့်ယေရောဗောင် အမျိုး ကို မြေကြီး ပြင် မှ သုတ်သင် ပယ်ရှင်းစေသော အပြစ် ရောက် သတည်း။
