< Chronicles I 17 >

1 And it came to pass as David dwelt in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, Behold, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of the covenant of the Lord [is] under [curtains] of skins.
Oo waxay noqotay markii Daa'uud gurigiisii degay, in Daa'uud Nebi Naataan ku yidhi, Bal eeg, anigu waxaan degganahay guri qori kedar ah laga sameeyey, laakiinse sanduuqii axdiga Rabbigu wuxuu yaal daahyo hoostood.
2 And Nathan said to David, Do all that is in thy heart; for God [is] with thee.
Markaasaa Naataan wuxuu Daa'uud ku yidhi, Wax alla wixii qalbigaaga ku jira oo dhan samee, waayo, Ilaah baa kula jira.
3 And it came to pass in that night, that the word of the Lord came to Nathan, [saying],
Oo isla habeenkaas eraygii Ilaah baa u yimid Naataan oo ku yidhi,
4 Go and say to David my servant, Thus said the Lord, Thou shalt not build me a house for me to dwell in it.
Tag, oo waxaad addoonkayga Daa'uud ku tidhaahdaa, Rabbigu wuxuu ku leeyahay, Waxba guri aan dego ha ii dhisin,
5 For I have not dwelt in a house from the day that I brought up Israel until this day, but I have been in a tabernacle and a tent,
waayo, guri ma degin ilaa maalintii aan reer binu Israa'iil soo bixiyey iyo tan iyo maantadan, laakiinse teendhaba teendho kalaan uga bixi jiray oo taambuugna mid kalaan uga bixi jiray.
6 in all places through which I have gone with all Israel: did I ever speak to [any] one tribe of Israel whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, [Why is it] that ye have not built me a house of cedar?
Oo meel kasta oo aan kula socday reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan, xaakinnadii reer binu Israa'iil oo aan ku amray inay quudiyaan dadkayga ma midkood baan eray kula hadlay, oo miyaan ku idhi, War maxaad iigu dhisi weydeen guri kedar ah?
7 And now thus shalt thou say to my servant David, Thus saith the Lord Almighty, I took thee from the sheepfold, from following the flocks, to be a ruler over my people Israel:
Haddaba waxaad addoonkayga Daa'uud ku tidhaahdaa, Rabbiga ciidammadu wuxuu leeyahay, Anaa kaa soo kaxeeyey xeradii idaha iyo idihii aad raacaysay, inaad ahaatid amiir u taliya dadkayga reer binu Israa'iil,
8 and I was with thee in all places whither thou wentest, and I destroyed all thine enemies from before thee, and I made for thee a name according to the name of the great ones that are upon the earth.
waanan kula jiray meel kastoo aad tagtayba, oo cadaawayaashaadii oo dhanna hortaadaan ka baabbi'iyey. Oo waxaan kuu bixin doonaa magac la mid ah magacyada kuwa waaweyn oo dhulka jooga.
9 And I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and I will plant him, and he shall dwell by himself, and shall no longer be anxious; and the son of iniquity shall no longer afflict him, as at the beginning,
Oo dadkayga reer binu Israa'iilna meel baan u dooran doonaa, oo waan ku beeri doonaa, inay meeshooda degganaadaan oo ayan mar dambe dhaqdhaqaaqin, ama ayan ilmaha sharku mar dambe dhibin sidii markii hore,
10 and from the days when I appointed judges over my people Israel. Also I have humbled all thine enemies, and I will increase thee, and the Lord will build thee a house.
iyo tan iyo maalintii aan xaakinno ku amray inay dadkayga reer binu Israa'iil u taliyaan. Cadaawayaashaada oo dhanna waan jebin doonaa. Oo weliba waxaan kaloo kuu sheegayaa inuu Rabbigu reer kuu yeeli doono.
11 And it shall come to pass when thy days shall be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.
Oo markii cimrigaagu dhammaado, oo aad awowayaashaa la jiri doonto sida waajibka ah, ayaan sara kicin doonaa farcankaaga kaa dambeeya oo wiilashaada midkood ahaan doona, oo boqortooyadiisana waan dhisi doonaa.
12 He shall build me a house, and I will set up his throne for ever.
Oo isna guri buu ii dhisi doonaa, oo xoog baan u yeeli doonaa carshigiisa weligiis.
13 I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son: and my mercy will I not withdraw from him, as I withdrew [it] from them that were before thee.
Oo anigu aabbaan u ahaan doonaa, isna wiil buu ii ahaan doonaa, oo anna naxariistayda kama fogayn doono, sidii aan uga fogeeyey kii kaa horreeyey,
14 And I will establish him in my house and in his kingdom for ever; and his throne shall be set up for ever.
laakiinse waxaan isaga dhex taagi doonaa weligiisba gurigayga iyo boqortooyadayda, oo carshigiisuna weligiis wuu dhisnaan doonaa.
15 According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so spoke Nathan to David.
Haddaba siday erayadaas oo dhan iyo tusniintaas oo dhammu ahaayeen ayaa Naataan kula hadlay Daa'uud.
16 And king David came and sat before the Lord, and said, Who am I, O Lord God? and what [is] my house, that thou hast loved me for ever?
Markaasaa Boqor Daa'uud gudaha galay oo Rabbiga hor fadhiistay, oo wuxuu yidhi, Rabbow Ilaahow, bal yaan ahay? Reerkayguna waa maxay oo aad halkan ii soo gaadhsiisay?
17 And these things were little in thy sight, O God: thou hast also spoken concerning the house of thy servant for a long time to come, and thou hast looked upon me as a man looks upon his fellow, and hast exalted me, O Lord God.
Oo waxanu hortaada wuu ku yaraa, Ilaahow, laakiinse waxaad kaloo ka sii hadashay reerkaygu wuxuu wakhti dheer noqon doono, anoo addoonkaaga ah, oo weliba Rabbow Ilaahow, waxaad iiga fikirtay sidii nin darajo weyn leh.
18 What shall David do more toward thee to glorify [thee]? and thou knowest thy servant.
Bal maxaan kaloo kugu odhan karaa taasoo ku saabsan cisadii aad ii samaysay anoo addoonkaaga ah? Waayo, waad i garanaysaa.
19 And thou hast wrought all this greatness according to thine heart.
Rabbow, aniga daraadday, iyo qalbigaaga siduu yahay, ayaad waxyaalahan waaweyn oo dhan u samaysay, inaad waxyaalahan waaweyn oo dhan wada muujiso.
20 O Lord, there is none like thee, and there is no God beside thee, according to all things which we have heard with our ears.
Rabbiyow, mid kula mid ahu ma jiro, oo adiga mooyaane Ilaah kale ma jiro, siday ahaayeen kulli wixii aannu dhegahayaga ku maqalnay oo dhammu.
21 Neither is there another nation upon the earth [such] as thy people Israel, whereas God led him in the way, to redeem a people for himself, to make for himself a great and glorious name, to cast out nations from before thy people, whom thou redeemedst out of Egypt.
Bal quruuntee baa dunida joogta oo la mid ah dadkaaga reer binu Israa'iil, kuwaasoo adiga qudhaadu aad soo furatay inay dad kuu ahaadaan iyo inaad magac isugu yeesho waxyaalo waaweyn oo cabsi badan, markaad quruumaha ka eriday dadkaaga hortiisa, kuwaasoo aad ka soo furatay dalkii Masar?
22 And thou hast appointed thy people Israel as a people to thyself for ever; and thou, Lord, didst become a God to them.
Waayo, dadkaaga reer binu Israa'iil waxaad ka dhigtay inay dadkaaga ahaadaan weligood, oo Ilaahood baad noqotay, Rabbiyow.
23 And now, Lord, let the word which thou spokest to thy servant, and concerning his house, be confirmed for ever, and do thou as thou hast spoken.
Haddaba Rabbow, eraygii aad ku hadashay oo igu saabsanaa anoo addoonkaaga ah, oo ku saabsanaa reerkayga, weligaa adkee oo sidaad ku hadashay yeel.
24 And let thy name [be] established and magnified for ever, [men] saying, Lord, Lord, Almighty God of Israel: and [let] the house of thy servant David [be] established before thee.
Oo magacaaguna ha xoogaysto oo ha weynaado weligiis, hana la yidhaahdo, Rabbiga ciidammadu waa Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil, isagu wuxuu Ilaah u yahay reer binu Israa'iil, oo anoo addoonkaaga Daa'uud ah reerkaygu hortaaduu ku dhisan yahay.
25 For thou, O Lord my God, hast revealed to the ear of thy servant that thou wilt build him a house; therefore thy servant has found a willingness to pray before thee.
Waayo, Ilaahayow, anoo addoonkaaga ah wax baad ii muujisay, oo waxaad igu tidhi, Reer baan kuu dhisi doonaa, sidaas daraaddeed waan ku dhiirranahay inaan baryadan hortaada kugu baryo.
26 And now, Lord, thou thyself art God, and thou hast spoken these good things concerning thy servant.
Haddaba Rabbiyow, adigu waxaad tahay Ilaah, oo waxan wanaagsan baad ii ballanqaadday, anoo addoonkaaga ah,
27 And now thou hast begun to bless the house of thy servant, so that it should continue for ever before thee: for thou, Lord, hast blessed [it], and do thou bless [it] for ever.
oo waxaad ku faraxday inaad barakaysid reerkayga anoo addoonkaaga ah, inuu weligiisba hortaada ku sii raago, waayo, Rabbiyow, adigu waad barakaysay, oo wuu barakaysan yahay weligiis.
