Zechariah 2
1 And lifting up my eyes, I saw a man with a measuring-line in his hand.
၁ငါသည်ပေကြိုးကိုကိုင်ထားသည့်လူတစ်ယောက် ကိုအခြားဗျာဒိတ်ရူပါရုံတစ်ခုတွင်တွေ့မြင် ရ၏။-
2 And I said to him, Where are you going? And he said to me, To take the measure of Jerusalem, to see how wide and how long it is.
၂သူ့အား``သင်သည်အဘယ်အရပ်သို့သွားမည် နည်း'' ဟုမေးသောအခါ၊ ထိုသူက``ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့သွားပါမည်။ ထို မြို့သည်အလျားအနံမည်မျှရှိသည်ကိုတိုင်း ထွား၍ကြည့်ရန်ဖြစ်ပါ၏'' ဟု ပြန်ပြောလေသည်။
3 And the angel who was talking to me went out, and another angel went out, and, meeting him,
၃ထိုနောက်ငါနှင့်စကားပြောဆိုနေခဲ့သည့် ကောင်းကင်တမန်သည်ရှေ့သို့လာသောအခါ အခြားကောင်းကင်တမန်တစ်ပါးကသူ့ထံ သို့လာရောက်နှုတ်ဆက်သည်ကိုငါတွေ့မြင် ရ၏။-
4 Said to him, Go quickly and say to this young man, Jerusalem will be an unwalled town, because of the great number of men and cattle in her.
၄ပထမကောင်းကင်တမန်ကသူ့အား``ယေရု ရှလင်မြို့တွင်နေထိုင်ကြသည့်လူသတ္တဝါ တို့သည်အလွန်ပင်များသဖြင့် ထိုမြို့ကို တံတိုင်းကာနိုင်လိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်ကြောင်းပေ ကြိုးကိုင်ထားသူလူငယ်ထံသို့ပြေး၍ပြော ကြားလော့။-
5 For I, says the Lord, will be a wall of fire round about her, and I will be the glory inside her.
၅ထာဝရဘုရားသည်မိမိကိုယ်တော်တိုင်မြို့ ပတ်လည်တွင် မီးတံတိုင်းအဖြစ်တည်ရှိလျက် ဘုန်းအသရေတော်အပေါင်းနှင့်တကွ ထိုမြို့ တွင်စံနေတော်မူမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်းကတိထား တော်မူလေပြီ'' ဟုဆို၏။
6 Ho, ho! go in flight from the land of the north, says the Lord: for I have sent you far and wide to the four winds of heaven, says the Lord.
၆ထာဝရဘုရားကမိမိ၏လူမျိုးတော် အား``ငါသည်သင်တို့ကိုအရပ်တကာသို့ ကွဲလွင့်စေတော်မူခဲ့၏။-
7 Ho! Zion, go in flight from danger, you who are living with the daughter of Babylon.
၇သို့ရာတွင်အချင်းပြည်နှင်ဒဏ်သင့်သူတို့ ယခုသင်တို့သည်ဗာဗုလုန်ပြည်မှထွက်ပြေး ကာယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ပြန်လာကြလော့။-
8 For this is what the Lord of armies has said: In the way of glory he has sent me to the nations which have taken your goods: for anyone touching you is touching what is most dear to him.
၈သင်တို့အားထိပါးလာသူသည်ငါတန်ဘိုး အထားဆုံးသောအရာကိုထိပါးသူဖြစ် ၏'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်၏လူမျိုးတော်တို့အားတိုက်ခိုက် ချေမှုန်းသူတို့အား ဤကဲ့သို့သတင်းစကား ပြောကြားရန် ငါ့အားအနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်ထာ ဝရဘုရားသည်စေလွှတ်တော်မူသည်။
9 For at the shaking of my hand over them, their goods will be taken by those who were their servants: and you will see that the Lord of armies has sent me.
၉``ဤသို့လျှင်ထာဝရဘုရားကိုယ်တော်တိုင် ပင် သင်တို့အားတိုက်ခိုက်တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။ အခါ တစ်ပါးကသင်တို့၏အစေအပါးကိုခံခဲ့ ရကြသူတို့သည် သင်တို့ကိုလုယက်တိုက်ခိုက် ကြလတ္တံ့'' ဟူသောဗျာဒိတ်တော်နှင့်အတူငါ့ အားစေလွှတ်တော်မူသတည်း။ ဤအမှုအရာများဖြစ်ပျက်လာသောအခါ ငါ့အား အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်ထာဝရဘုရားစေ လွှတ်တော်မူလိုက်ကြောင်းကိုလူအပေါင်းတို့ သိရှိကြလိမ့်မည်။
10 Give songs of joy, O daughter of Zion: for I come, and I will make my resting-place among you, says the Lord.
၁၀ထာဝရဘုရားက``အို ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သူတို့၊ ဝမ်းမြောက်စွာသီချင်းဆိုကြပါလော့။ ငါသည် သင်တို့အလယ်တွင်ကျိန်းဝပ်ရန်ကြွလာတော် မူမည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
11 And a number of nations will be joined to the Lord in that day, and will become my people; and I will be living among you, and you will see that the Lord of armies has sent me to you.
၁၁ထိုအခါလူမျိုးပေါင်းမြောက်မြားစွာတို့ သည်ထာဝရဘုရားထံတော်သို့ချဉ်းကပ် ကြလျက် ကိုယ်တော်၏လူမျိုးတော်ဖြစ်လာ ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်သင်တို့အလယ် တွင်ကျိန်းဝပ်တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။ ငါ့အားကိုယ် တော်စေလွှတ်တော်မူလိုက်ကြောင်းကိုလည်း သင်တို့သိကြလိမ့်မည်။-
12 And Judah will be the Lord's heritage in the holy land, and Jerusalem will again be his.
၁၂တစ်ဖန်တုံယုဒနယ်သည်သန့်ရှင်းမြင့်မြတ် သည့်ပြည်တော်တွင်ထာဝရဘုရား၏အထူး ပိုင်နက်ဖြစ်လာရလိမ့်မည်။ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ သည်လည်းကိုယ်တော်အမြတ်နိုးဆုံးသော မြို့ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။
13 Let all flesh be quiet and make no sound before the Lord: for he is awake and has come from his holy resting-place.
၁၃လူအပေါင်းတို့ထာဝရဘုရားသည်မိမိ ကျိန်းဝပ်တော်မူရာသန့်ရှင်းမြင့်မြတ်သည့် ဌာနတော်မှကြွလာတော်မူမည်ဖြစ်၍ ကိုယ်တော်၏ရှေ့တော်၌ဆိတ်ငြိမ်စွာနေ ကြလော့။
