Zechariah 14
1 See, a day of the Lord is coming when they will make division of your goods taken by force before your eyes.
Fürwahr, es kommt ein Tag Jahwes, da wird in deiner Mitte deine Beute verteilt werden.
2 For I will get all the nations together to make war against Jerusalem; and the town will be overcome, and the goods taken from the houses, and the women taken by force: and half the town will go away as prisoners, and the rest of the people will not be cut off from the town.
Und zwar werde ich alle Nationen zum Streit gegen Jerusalem versammeln, und die Stadt wird eingenommen, die Häuser werden geplündert und die Frauen geschändet; die Hälfte der Stadt wird in die Gefangenschaft ziehen, der Rest der Bevölkerung aber wird nicht aus der Stadt ausgerottet.
3 Then the Lord will go out and make war against those nations, as he did in the day of the fight.
Sondern Jahwe wird erscheinen und wider jene Nationen streiten wie einst, als er stritt am Tage des Kampfes.
4 And in that day his feet will be on the Mount of Olives, which is opposite Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives will be parted in the middle to the east and to the west, forming a very great valley; and half the mountain will be moved to the north and half of it to the south.
Seine Füße werden jenes Tags auf dem Ölberge stehen, der im Osten Jerusalem gegenüberliegt, und der Ölberg wird sich von seiner Mitte aus nach Osten und Westen zu einem überaus großen Thale spalten, so daß die eine Hälfte des Bergs nach Norden, die andere nach Süden zurückweicht.
5 And the valley will be stopped ... and you will go in flight as you went in flight from the earth-shock in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah: and the Lord my God will come, and all his holy ones with him.
Ihr aber werdet in das Thal meiner Berge fliehen - denn das Thal zwischen den Bergen reicht bis nach Azal -, und zwar werdet ihr fliehen, wie ihr zur Zeit Usias, des Königs von Juda, vor dem Erdbeben floht. Aber Jahwe, mein Gott, wird erscheinen, begleitet von allen Heiligen.
6 And in that day there will be no heat or cold or ice;
An jenem Tage wird es weder Hitze noch Kälte und Frost geben,
7 And it will be unbroken day, such as the Lord has knowledge of, without change of day and night, and even at nightfall it will be light.
und es wird ein ununterbrochener Tag sein - er ist Jahwe bekannt! - ohne Wechsel von Tag und Nacht, und auch zur Abendzeit wird es hell sein.
8 And on that day living waters will go out from Jerusalem; half of them flowing to the sea on the east and half to the sea on the west: in summer and in winter it will be so.
An jenem Tage werden sich von Jerusalem aus lebendige Wasser ergießen: die Hälfte davon wird in das östliche Meer, die andere in das westliche Meer fließen; im Sommer wie im Winter wird es so geschehen.
9 And the Lord will be King over all the earth: in that day there will be one Lord and his name one.
Jahwe wird dann über das ganze Land König sein; jenes Tags wird Jahwe einer sein und sein Name einer.
10 And all the land will become like the Arabah, from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; and she will be lifted up and be living in her place; from the doorway of Benjamin to the place of the first doorway, to the doorway of the angle, and from the tower of Hananel to the king's wine-crushing places, men will be living in her.
Das ganze Land wird zu einer Ebene werden von Geba bis Rimmon im Süden von Jerusalem; dieses aber wird hocherhaben sein und auf seinem Sitze unverrückt bleiben vom Benjaminsthor an bis zu der Stätte des früheren Thors, bis zum Eckthor, und vom Thurm Hananel an bis zu den Königskeltern.
11 And there will be no more curse; but Jerusalem will be living without fear of danger.
Man wird darin wohnen; einen Bannfluch wird es nicht mehr geben, und Jerusalem wird vor jeder Gefahr sicher bleiben.
12 And this will be the disease which the Lord will send on all the peoples which have been warring against Jerusalem: their flesh will be wasted away while they are on their feet, their eyes will be wasted in their heads and their tongues in their mouths.
Folgendes aber wird die Plage sein, mit der Jahwe alle die Völker schlagen wird, die gegen Jerusalem zu Felde zogen: Das Fleisch verfault ihnen, während sie noch auf ihren Füßen stehen; die Augen verfaulen ihnen in den Augenhöhlen, und ihre Zunge verfault ihnen im Munde.
13 And it will be on that day that a great fear will be sent among them from the Lord; and everyone will take his neighbour's hand, and every man's hand will be lifted against his neighbour's.
Jenes Tags wird eine gewaltige Verwirrung von Jahwe aus über sie kommen, so daß sie einander bei der Hand ergreifen, und die Hand des einen sich wider die des andern erhebt.
14 And even Judah will be fighting against Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the nations round about will be massed together, a great store of gold and silver and clothing.
Auch Juda wird gegen Jerusalem kämpfen. Dann wird der Reichtum aller Völker ringsum gesammelt werden, Gold, Silber und Kleider in übergroßer Menge.
15 And the horses and the transport beasts, the camels and the asses and all the beasts in those tents will be attacked by the same disease.
Und ganz die gleiche Plage wird die Rosse, die Maultiere, die Kamele und Esel und überhaupt alles Vieh treffen, das sich in jenen Kriegslagern befinden wird.
16 And it will come about that everyone who is still living, of all those nations who came against Jerusalem, will go up from year to year to give worship to the King, the Lord of armies, and to keep the feast of tents.
Alle aber, welche aus allen den Nationen übrig bleiben, die gegen Jerusalem herangezogen waren, werden Jahr für Jahr hinaufziehen, um sich vor dem König Jahwe der Heerscharen niederzuwerfen und das Laubhüttenfest zu feiern.
17 And it will be that if any one of all the families of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to give worship to the King, the Lord of armies, on them there will be no rain.
Aber wer aus den Geschlechtern der Erde nicht nach Jerusalem hinaufzieht, um sich vor dem König Jahwe der Heerscharen niederzuwerfen, auf dessen Land soll auch kein Regen fallen.
18 And if the family of Egypt does not go up or come there, they will be attacked by the disease which the Lord will send on the nations:
Und wenn das Geschlecht Ägyptens nicht hinaufzieht, um sich einzufinden, so wird sie die Plage treffen, mit der Jahwe die Nationen schlägt, die nicht zur Feier des Laubhüttenfestes hinaufziehen.
19 This will be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all the nations who do not go up to keep the feast of tents.
Das wird die Strafe Ägyptens sein, wie die Strafe aller Völker, die nicht zur Feier des Laubhüttenfestes hinaufziehen.
20 On that day all the bells of the horses will be holy to the Lord, and the pots in the Lord's house will be like the basins before the altar.
Jenes Tags werden die Schellen der Rosse die Aufschrift tragen: “Jahwe geheiligt”! und die Kochtöpfe im Tempel Jahwes werden so groß sein wie die Opferbecken vor dem Altare.
21 And every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to the Lord of armies: and all those who make offerings will come and take them for boiling their offerings: in that day there will be no more traders in the house of the Lord of armies.
Jeder Topf in Jerusalem und Juda wird Jahwe der Heerscharen geheiligt sein, und alle, die opfern wollen, werden kommen und welche von ihnen nehmen und in ihnen das Opferfleisch kochen, und jenes Tags wird es keine Krämer mehr im Tempel Jahwes der Heerscharen geben.
