< Song of Solomon 4 >

1 See, you are fair, my love, you are fair; you have the eyes of a dove; your hair is as a flock of goats, which take their rest on the side of Gilead.
Hĩ, kaĩ wee mwendwa wakwa ũkĩrĩ mũthaka-ĩ! Ĩĩ ti-itherũ ũrĩ mũthaka! Maitho maku mahaana ta ma ndutura makĩonerwo hau taama-inĩ ũcio ũkũhumbĩrĩte ũthiũ. Njuĩrĩ yaku no ta rũũru rwa mbũri rũgĩikũrũka Kĩrĩma-inĩ kĩa Gileadi.
2 Your teeth are like a flock of sheep whose wool is newly cut, which come up from the washing; every one has two lambs, and there is not one without young.
Magego maku mahaana ta rũũru rwa ngʼondu ciarĩkia kũmurwo guoya o ũguo, ikĩambata ciumĩte gũthambio. O ĩmwe yacio ĩrĩ na ihatha rĩayo; hatirĩ o na ĩmwe yacio ĩrĩ iiki.
3 Your red lips are like a bright thread, and your mouth is fair of form; the sides of your head are like pomegranate fruit under your veil.
Mĩromo yaku ĩhaana ta uuthi mũtune; kanua gaku kagĩrĩte mũno. Thĩa ciaku ihaana ta ciatũ igĩrĩ cia itunda rĩa mũkomamanga, ikĩonerwo hau taama-inĩ ũcio ũkũhumbĩrĩte ũthiũ.
4 Your neck is like the tower of David made for a store-house of arms, in which a thousand breastplates are hanging, breastplates for fighting-men.
Ngingo yaku ĩhaana ta mũthiringo ũrĩa mũraihu wa Daudi, wakĩtwo wega mũno; nakuo gũgacuurio ngo ngiri, na ciothe nĩ ngo cia njamba cia ita.
5 Your two breasts are like two young roes of the same birth, which take their food among the lilies.
Nyondo ciaku cierĩ ihaana ta ciana igĩrĩ cia thiiya, ikahaana ciana cia mahatha cia thiiya ikĩrĩa itoka-inĩ.
6 Till the evening comes, and the sky slowly becomes dark, I will go to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense.
Nĩngũthiĩ kĩrĩma-inĩ kĩa manemane, na nginye karĩma-inĩ ka ũbani, njikare kuo nginya kũrĩĩrura, nacio ciĩruru ciirĩrie.
7 You are all fair, my love; there is no mark on you.
Wee mwendwa wakwa ũrĩ mũthaka biũ; ndũrĩ na kameni o na kanini.
8 Come with me from Lebanon, my bride, with me from Lebanon; see from the top of Amana, from the top of Senir and Hermon, from the places of the lions, from the mountains of the leopards.
Ũka tũthiĩ nawe, mũhiki wakwa, tuume Lebanoni, nĩtũthiĩ nawe tuume Lebanoni. Harũrũka uume gacũmbĩrĩ-inĩ ka Amana, ũkiume kĩrĩma gĩa Seniru, o gacũmbĩrĩ ka Herimoni, uume kũu imamo-inĩ cia mĩrũũthi, ũkiume irĩma-inĩ icio cia ngarĩ.
9 You have taken away my heart, my sister, my bride; you have taken away my heart, with one look you have taken it, with one chain of your neck!
Nĩũtahĩte ngoro yakwa, wee mwarĩ wa maitũ, o wee mũhiki wakwa; nĩũtahĩte ngoro yakwa na irora o rĩmwe rĩa maitho maku, na ithaga rĩmwe rĩa mũgathĩ waku wa ngingo.
10 How fair is your love, my sister! How much better is your love than wine, and the smell of your oils than any perfume!
Wee mwarĩ wa maitũ, o we mũhiki wakwa, kaĩ wendo waku nĩ wa gũkenerwo-ĩ! Ĩĩ wendo waku nĩ wa gũkenania mũno gũkĩra ndibei, naguo mũtararĩko wa maguta maku nĩ mwega kũrĩ wa mahuti mothe marĩa manungi wega!
11 Your lips are dropping honey; honey and milk are under your tongue; and the smell of your clothing is like the smell of Lebanon.
Wee mũhiki wakwa, mĩromo yaku ĩtaatagia mũrĩo ta magua ma ũũkĩ; iria na ũũkĩ irĩ rungu rwa rũrĩmĩ rwaku. Mũtararĩko mwega wa nguo ciaku no ta ũrĩa wa Lebanoni.
12 A garden walled-in is my sister, my bride; a garden shut up, a spring of water stopped.
Wee mwarĩ wa maitũ, o wee mũhiki wakwa, ũhaana ta mũgũnda mũirigĩre, ũkahaana ta gĩthima kĩirigĩre, na ta itherũkĩro rĩa maaĩ ihingĩrĩrie.
13 The produce of the garden is pomegranates; with all the best fruits, henna and spikenard,
Thuuna ciaku nĩ ta mũgũnda wa mĩtĩ ya mĩkomamanga ĩ na matunda mega mũno, ũrĩ na mĩhanuni, na mĩtĩ ĩrĩa yumaga uundi,
14 Spikenard and safron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices.
ĩkoima uundi na manjano, na irago na mĩndarathini, hamwe na mũtĩ o wothe wa ũbani, na manemane na thubiri, na mahuti mothe marĩa manungi wega mũno.
15 You are a fountain of gardens, a spring of living waters, and flowing waters from Lebanon.
Wee-rĩ, ũrĩ itherũkĩro rĩa maaĩ rĩrĩ mũgũnda, ũrĩ gĩthima kĩa maaĩ megũtherera, maikũrũkĩte moimĩte Lebanoni.
16 Be awake, O north wind; and come, O south, blowing on my garden, so that its spices may come out. Let my loved one come into his garden, and take of his good fruits.
Wee rũhuho rwa gathigathini ũkĩra, nawe rũhuho rwa gũthini-rĩ, ũka! Hurutanaai mũgũnda-inĩ wakwa, nĩguo mũtararĩko waguo ũhunje kũndũ kũraya. Mwendwa wakwa nĩatoonye mũgũnda-inĩ wake, na arĩe matunda maguo o macio mega mũno.
