Romans 10
1 Brothers, my heart's desire and my prayer to God for them is, that they may get salvation.
เห ภฺราตร อิสฺราเยลียโลกา ยตฺ ปริตฺราณํ ปฺราปฺนุวนฺติ ตทหํ มนสาภิลษนฺ อีศฺวรสฺย สมีเป ปฺรารฺถเยฯ
2 For I give witness of them that they have a strong desire for God, but not with knowledge.
ยต อีศฺวเร เตษำ เจษฺฏา วิทฺยต อิตฺยตฺราหํ สากฺษฺยสฺมิ; กินฺตุ เตษำ สา เจษฺฏา สชฺญานา นหิ,
3 Because, not having knowledge of God's righteousness, and desiring to give effect to their righteousness, they have not put themselves under the righteousness of God.
ยตสฺต อีศฺวรทตฺตํ ปุณฺยมฺ อวิชฺญาย สฺวกฺฤตปุณฺยํ สฺถาปยิตุมฺ เจษฺฏมานา อีศฺวรทตฺตสฺย ปุณฺยสฺย นิฆฺนตฺวํ น สฺวีกุรฺวฺวนฺติฯ
4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who has faith.
ขฺรีษฺฏ เอไกกวิศฺวาสิชนาย ปุณฺยํ ทาตุํ วฺยวสฺถายา: ผลสฺวรูโป ภวติฯ
5 For Moses says that the man who does the righteousness which is of the law will get life by it.
วฺยวสฺถาปาลเนน ยตฺ ปุณฺยํ ตตฺ มูสา วรฺณยามาส, ยถา, โย ชนสฺตำ ปาลยิษฺยติ ส ตทฺทฺวารา ชีวิษฺยติฯ
6 But the righteousness which is of faith says these words, Say not in your heart, Who will go up to heaven? (that is, to make Christ come down: )
กินฺตุ ปฺรตฺยเยน ยตฺ ปุณฺยํ ตทฺ เอตาทฺฤศํ วากฺยํ วทติ, ก: สฺวรฺคมฺ อารุหฺย ขฺรีษฺฏมฺ อวโรหยิษฺยติ?
7 Or, Who will go down into the deep? (that is, to make Christ come again from the dead: ) (Abyssos g12)
โก วา เปฺรตโลกมฺ อวรุหฺย ขฺรีษฺฏํ มฺฤตคณมธฺยาทฺ อาเนษฺยตีติ วากฺ มนสิ ตฺวยา น คทิตวฺยาฯ (Abyssos g12)
8 But what does it say? The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart: that is, the word of faith of which we are the preachers:
ตรฺหิ กึ พฺรวีติ? ตทฺ วากฺยํ ตว สมีปสฺถมฺ อรฺถาตฺ ตว วทเน มนสิ จาเสฺต, ตจฺจ วากฺยมฺ อสฺมาภิ: ปฺรจารฺยฺยมาณํ วิศฺวาสสฺย วากฺยเมวฯ
9 Because, if you say with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and have faith in your heart that God has made him come back from the dead, you will have salvation:
วสฺตุต: ปฺรภุํ ยีศุํ ยทิ วทเนน สฺวีกโรษิ, ตเถศฺวรสฺตํ ศฺมศานาทฺ อุทสฺถาปยทฺ อิติ ยทฺยนฺต: กรเณน วิศฺวสิษิ ตรฺหิ ปริตฺราณํ ลปฺสฺยเสฯ
10 For with the heart man has faith to get righteousness, and with the mouth he says that Jesus is Lord to get salvation.
ยสฺมาตฺ ปุณฺยปฺราปฺตฺยรฺถมฺ อนฺต: กรเณน วิศฺวสิตวฺยํ ปริตฺราณารฺถญฺจ วทเนน สฺวีกรฺตฺตวฺยํฯ
11 Because it is said in the holy Writings, Whoever has faith in him will not be shamed.
ศาสฺเตฺร ยาทฺฤศํ ลิขติ วิศฺวสิษฺยติ ยสฺตตฺร ส ชโน น ตฺรปิษฺยเตฯ
12 And the Jew is not different from the Greek: for there is the same Lord of all, who is good to all who have hope in his name:
อิตฺยตฺร ยิหูทินิ ตทนฺยโลเก จ โกปิ วิเศโษ นาสฺติ ยสฺมาทฺ ย: สรฺเวฺวษามฺ อทฺวิตีย: ปฺรภุ: ส นิชยาจกาน สรฺวฺวานฺ ปฺรติ วทาโนฺย ภวติฯ
13 Because, Whoever will give worship to the name of the Lord will get salvation.
ยต: , ย: กศฺจิตฺ ปรเมศสฺย นามฺนา หิ ปฺรารฺถยิษฺยเตฯ ส เอว มนุโช นูนํ ปริตฺราโต ภวิษฺยติฯ
14 But how will they give worship to him in whom they have no faith? and how will they have faith in him of whom they have not had news? and how will they have news without a preacher?
ยํ เย ชนา น ปฺรตฺยายนฺ เต ตมุทฺทิศฺย กถํ ปฺรารฺถยิษฺยนฺเต? เย วา ยสฺยาขฺยานํ กทาปิ น ศฺรุตวนฺตเสฺต ตํ กถํ ปฺรเตฺยษฺยนฺติ? อปรํ ยทิ ปฺรจารยิตาโร น ติษฺฐนฺติ ตทา กถํ เต โศฺรษฺยนฺติ?
15 And how will there be preachers if they are not sent? As it is said, How beautiful are the feet of those who give the glad news of good things.
ยทิ วา เปฺรริตา น ภวนฺติ ตทา กถํ ปฺรจารยิษฺยนฺติ? ยาทฺฤศํ ลิขิตมฺ อาเสฺต, ยถา, มางฺคลิกํ สุสํวาทํ ททตฺยานีย เย นรา: ฯ ปฺรจารยนฺติ ศานฺเตศฺจ สุสํวาทํ ชนาสฺตุ เยฯ เตษำ จรณปทฺมานิ กีทฺฤกฺ โศภานฺวิตานิ หิฯ
16 But they have not all given ear to the good news. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has had faith in our word?
กินฺตุ เต สรฺเวฺว ตํ สุสํวาทํ น คฺฤหีตวนฺต: ฯ ยิศายิโย ยถา ลิขิตวานฺฯ อสฺมตฺปฺรจาริเต วาเกฺย วิศฺวาสมกโรทฺธิ ก: ฯ
17 So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
อเตอว ศฺรวณาทฺ วิศฺวาส ไอศฺวรวากฺยปฺรจาราตฺ ศฺรวณญฺจ ภวติฯ
18 But I say, Did not the word come to their ears? Yes, certainly: Their sound has gone out into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.
ตรฺหฺยหํ พฺรวีมิ ไต: กึ นาศฺราวิ? อวศฺยมฺ อศฺราวิ, ยสฺมาตฺ เตษำ ศพฺโท มหีํ วฺยาปฺโนทฺ วากฺยญฺจ นิขิลํ ชคตฺฯ
19 But I say, Had Israel no knowledge? First Moses says, You will be moved to envy by that which is not a nation, and by a foolish people I will make you angry.
อปรมปิ วทามิ, อิสฺราเยลียโลกา: กิมฺ เอตำ กถำ น พุธฺยนฺเต? ปฺรถมโต มูสา อิทํ วากฺยํ โปฺรวาจ, อหมุตฺตาปยิเษฺย ตานฺ อคณฺยมานไวรปิฯ เกฺลกฺษฺยามิ ชาติมฺ เอตาญฺจ โปฺรนฺมตฺตภินฺนชาติภิ: ฯ
20 And Isaiah says without fear, Those who were not searching for me made discovery of me; and I was seen by those whose hearts were turned away from me.
อปรญฺจ ยิศายิโย'ติศยากฺโษเภณ กถยามาส, ยถา, อธิ มำ ไยสฺตุ นาเจษฺฏิ สมฺปฺราปฺตไสฺต รฺชไนรหํฯ อธิ มำ ไย รฺน สมฺปฺฤษฺฏํ วิชฺญาตไสฺต รฺชไนรหํ๚
21 But about Israel he says; All the day my hands have been stretched out to a people whose hearts were turned away, and who put themselves against my word.
กินฺตฺวิสฺราเยลียโลกานฺ อธิ กถยาญฺจการ, ไยราชฺญาลงฺฆิภิ โรฺลไก รฺวิรุทฺธํ วากฺยมุจฺยเตฯ ตานฺ ปฺรเตฺยว ทินํ กฺฤตฺสฺนํ หเสฺตา วิสฺตารยามฺยหํ๚
