< Psalms 86 >
1 A Prayer. Of David. Let your ears be open to my voice, O Lord, and give me an answer; for I am poor and in need.

2 Keep my soul, for I am true to you; O my God, give salvation to your servant, whose hope is in you.
Nang ni ka ni ypnaak, ka hqingnaak ve khoem law lah. Nang taw ka Khawsa na awm hyk ti; nang anik ypnaak na tyihzawih ve hul cang lah.
3 Have mercy on me, O Lord; for my cry goes up to you all the day.
Aw Bawipa, nim qeen cang lah, khawnghi zung nang nik khy nyng.
4 Make glad the soul of your servant; for it is lifted up to you, O Lord.
Na tyihzawih ve zeel sak cang lah. Aw Bawipa, na venawh ka hqingnaak hak soeng law nyng.
5 You are good, O Lord, and full of forgiveness; your mercy is great to all who make their cry to you.
Aw Bawipa, nang taw qeenkhaw ngai thai nawh leek hyk ti, nang anik khykhqi boeih a venawh na lungnaak khawzah na dang sak hyk ti.
6 O Lord, give ear to my prayer; and take note of the sound of my requests.
Aw Bawipa, kak cykcahnaak ve ngai law lah; qeennaak thoeh doena kang kqangnaak awi ve ngai law lah.
7 In the day of my trouble I send up my cry to you; for you will give me an answer.
Kyinaak ka huh nyn awh ce nik khy kawng nyng saw, nang ing nim hlah law kawp ti.
8 There is no god like you, O Lord; there are no works like your works.
Aw Bawipa, khawsakhqi anglak li awh nang amyihna ak awm pynoet awm am awm hy; nang a ik-oeih sai ing kqawn nyt hly kawi pynoet awm am awm hy.
9 Let all the nations whom you have made come and give worship to you, O Lord, giving glory to your name.
Nang ing na sai pilnam thlangkhqi ce law kawm usaw na haiawh ni bawk kawm uh, Aw Bawipa; nang ming ce thangleek sak kawm uh.
10 For you are great, and do great works of wonder; you only are God.
Ikawtih, nang taw bau soeih tiksaw kawpoek kyi ik-oeihkhqi ce sai hyk ti; nang doeng ni Khawsa na nak awm.
11 Make your way clear to me, O Lord; I will go on my way in your faith: let my heart be glad in the fear of your name.
Aw Bawipa, na lam ce ni cawng sak lah, nak awitak awh cet vang nyng; nang ming kak kqihnaak thai aham a plawk a plak na ak awm kawlung koeh ni pe.
12 I will give you praise, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will give glory to your name for ever.
Aw Bawipa ka Khawsa, kak kawlung boeih ing nang ce nim kyihcah vang; nang ming ce kumqui dyna ni zoeksang kawng.
13 For your mercy to me is great; you have taken my soul up from the deep places of the underworld. (Sheol )
Ikawtih, ka venawh na lungnaak ve bau soeih hy; nang ing hlan a dungnaak awhkawng ni hul hawh hyk ti. (Sheol )
14 O God, men of pride have come up against me, and the army of violent men would take my life; they have not put you before them.
Aw Khawsa, ak oek qukhqi ing kai ni tuk uhy; qeennaak amak ta thlangkhqi, nang kawna ama nik hu thlangkhqi ing kai him aham ni sui uhy.
15 But you, O Lord, are a God full of pity and forgiveness, slow to get angry, great in mercy and wisdom.
Cehlai, Aw Bawipa, nang taw qeennaak ing ak be Khawsa na awm hyk ti, ak hengna kaw ak so, lungnaak ypawmnaak ing ak be na awm hyk ti.
16 O be turned to me and have mercy on me: give your strength to your servant, and your salvation to the son of her who is your servant.
Kai ben na mang law nawh nim qeen cang lah; na tyihzawih nu a capa ve hul cang lah.
17 Give me a sign for good; so that my haters may see it and be shamed; because you, Lord, have been my help and comfort.
Ka qaalkhqi ing hu unawh amik chahnaak aham na leeknaak man ce ni pe lah, Aw Bawipa, nang ing nik pyi nawh kang ngaih qep law sak hawh hyk ti.
