< Psalms 84 >
1 To the chief music-maker; put to the Gittith A Psalm. Of the sons of Korah. How dear are your tents, O Lord of armies!
Ya Mukulu wa Bayimbi. Zabbuli ya Batabani ba Koola. Eweema zo nga nnungi, Ayi Mukama ow’Eggye!
2 The passion of my soul's desire is for the house of the Lord; my heart and my flesh are crying out for the living God.
Omwoyo gwange guyaayaana, gwagala na kuzirika, olw’empya za Mukama, omutima gwange n’omubiri gwange bikoowoola Katonda omulamu.
3 The little birds have places for themselves, where they may put their young, even your altars, O Lord of armies, my King and my God.
Weewaawo, ne nkazaluggya yeekoledde ekisu, n’akataayi ennyumba mwe binaakulizanga abaana baabyo awo okumpi n’Ebyoto byo, Ayi Mukama Ayinzabyonna, Kabaka wange, era Katonda wange.
4 Happy are they whose resting-place is in your house: they will still be praising you. (Selah)
Balina omukisa ababeera mu nnyumba yo, banaakutenderezanga.
5 Happy is the man whose strength is in you; in whose heart are the highways to Zion.
Alina omukisa omuntu eyeesiga amaanyi go, era assaayo omwoyo okutambulira mu makubo go.
6 Going through the valley of balsam-trees, they make it a place of springs; it is clothed with blessings by the early rain.
Bayita mu kiwonvu Baka, ne bakifuula ekifo ky’ensulo; n’enkuba ya ddumbi n’ejjuza ebidiba byakyo.
7 They go from strength to strength; every one of them comes before God in Zion.
Bagenda beeyongera amaanyi, okutuusa lwe batuuka mu maaso ga Katonda mu Sayuuni.
8 O Lord God of armies, let my prayer come to you: give ear, O God of Jacob. (Selah)
Wulira okusaba kwange, Ayi Mukama Katonda ow’Eggye; mpuliriza, Ayi Katonda wa Yakobo.
9 O God, let your eyes be on him who is our safe cover, and let your heart be turned to your king.
Ayi Katonda, Engabo yaffe, tunuulira kabaka wo n’okusaasira oyo gwe wafukako amafuta.
10 For a day in your house is better than a thousand. It is better to be a door-keeper in the house of my God, than to be living in the tents of sin.
Okumala olunaku olumu mu mpya zo, kisinga okubeera emyaka olukumi mu bifo ebirala. Njagala okuba omuggazi mu nnyumba ya Katonda wange, okusinga okubeeranga mu weema z’abakola ebibi.
11 The Lord God is our sun and our strength: the Lord will give grace and glory: he will not keep back any good thing from those whose ways are upright.
Kubanga Mukama Katonda ye njuba yaffe era ye ngabo yaffe; atuwa emikisa gye awamu n’ekitiibwa; tewaliiwo kirungi na kimu ky’ataawa abo abatambulira mu makubo ge nga tebaliiko kyakunenyezebwa.
12 O Lord of armies, happy is the man whose hope is in you.
Ayi Mukama ow’Eggye alina omukisa omuntu akwesiga.
