< Psalms 2 >
1 Why are the nations so violently moved, and why are the thoughts of the people so foolish?
Gịnị mere mba niile ji agba izu nzuzo? Gịnị mere ndị mmadụ ji na-apịa ọpịpịa nke na-abaghị uru?
2 The kings of the earth have taken their place, and the rulers are fixed in their purpose, against the Lord, and against the king of his selection, saying,
Ndị eze nke ụwa na-eguzokwa onwe ha, ndị na-achị achị na-agbakọtakwa imegide Onyenwe anyị na imegide Onye ya e tere mmanụ.
3 Let their chains be broken, and their cords taken from off us.
Ha na-asị, “Ka anyị tijie mkpọrọ igwe niile ha kere anyị ma tufukwaa ha, nwere onwe anyị.”
4 Then he whose seat is in the heavens will be laughing: the Lord will make sport of them.
Onye na-anọdụ nʼeluigwe na-achị ọchị. Onyenwe anyị na-akwa ha emo.
5 Then will his angry words come to their ears, and by his wrath they will be troubled:
Mgbe ahụ, ọ na-eji iwe baara ha mba mee ka ụjọ jupụta ha obi nʼihi oke iwe ya.
6 But I have put my king on my holy hill of Zion.
“Mụ onwe m eguzobela m eze m na Zayọn, ugwu m dị nsọ.”
7 I will make clear the Lord's decision: he has said to me, You are my son, this day have I given you being.
Aga m ekwusa iwu Onyenwe anyị: Ọ sịrị m, “Ị bụ Ọkpara m; taa abụrụla m nna gị.
8 Make your request to me, and I will give you the nations for your heritage, and the farthest limits of the earth will be under your hand.
Rịọọ m, aga m enye gị mba niile nke ụwa ka ha bụrụ ihe nketa gị.
9 They will be ruled by you with a rod of iron; they will be broken like a potter's vessel.
Ị ga-eji mkpara igwe chịa ha, tipịa ha dịka onye na-akpụ ite si etipịa ite ndị ọ kpụrụ na-adịghị mma.”
10 So now be wise, you kings: take his teaching, you judges of the earth.
Nʼihi nke a, unu ndị eze, bụrụnụ ndị nwere uche; ka nke a bụrụkwa ihe ịdọ aka na ntị nye ndị na-achị achị nʼụwa.
11 Give worship to the Lord with fear, kissing his feet and giving him honour,
Jirinụ ịtụ egwu fee Onyenwe anyị ofufe; jirikwanụ ịma jijiji ṅụrịa ọṅụ nʼihu ya.
12 For fear that he may be angry, causing destruction to come on you, because he is quickly moved to wrath. Happy are all those who put their faith in him.
Sutukwanụ Ọkpara ahụ ọnụ ka iwe ghara iwe ya, ka unu ghara ị bụ ndị a lara nʼiyi nʼụzọ unu. Nʼihi na iwe ya pụrụ ịmalite nʼotu ntabi anya. Ndị niile na-eme ya ebe mgbaba ha bụ ndị a gọziri agọzi.
