Psalms 148

1 Give praise to the Lord. Let the Lord be praised from the heavens: give him praise in the skies.

परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर । ए स्वर्गमा हुनेहरू हो, परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर । ए उच्‍च स्थानहरूमा हुनेहरू हो, उहाँको प्रशंसा गर ।

2 Give praise to him, all you his angels: give praise to him, all his armies.

उहाँका सबै स्वर्गदूत हो, उहाँको प्रशंसा गर । ए उहाँका सबै फौज हो, उहाँको प्रशंसा गर ।

3 Give praise to him, you sun and moon: give praise to him, all you stars of light.

हे सूर्य र चन्द्रमा हो, उहाँको प्रशंसा गर । ए सबै चम्किने तारा हो, उहाँको प्रशंसा गर ।

4 Give praise to him, you highest heavens, and you waters which are over the heavens.

ए सर्वोच्‍च स्वर्ग र आकाशमाथिका पानी हो, उहाँको प्रशंसा गर ।

5 Let them give praise to the name of the Lord: for he gave the order, and they were made.

तिनीहरूले परमप्रभुको नाउँको प्रशंसा गरून्, किनकि उहाँले आज्ञा दिनुभयो र तिनीहरू सृष्‍टि भए ।

6 He has put them in their places for ever; he has given them their limits which may not be broken.

उहाँले तिनलाई सदासर्वदाको निम्ति स्थापित पनि गर्नुभएको छ । उहाँले एउटा आदेश जारी गर्नुभयो जो कहिल्यै बद्लिंदैन ।

7 Give praise to the Lord from the earth, you great sea-beasts, and deep places:

पृथ्वीबाट उहाँको प्रशंसा गर, हे समुद्रका विशाल जन्‍तुहरू र सागरका गहिराइहरू हो,

8 Fire and rain of ice, snow and mists; storm-wind, doing his word:

हे आगो र असिना, हिउँ र बादल, उहाँको वचन पुरा गर्ने आँधी बेहरी हो ।

9 Mountains and all hills; fruit-trees and all trees of the mountains:

उहाँको प्रशंसा गर, हे सबै पहाड र डाँडाहरू, फलका रूखहरू र सबै देवदारुहरू हो,

10 Beasts and all cattle; insects and winged birds:

जङ्गली पशुहरू र पाल्तु पशुहरू, घस्रने प्राणीहरू र चराहरू हो ।

11 Kings of the earth, and all peoples; rulers and all judges of the earth:

परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर, हे पृथ्वीका राजाहरू र सबै जातिहरू, शासकहरू र पृथ्वीमा शासन गर्ने सबैले,

12 Young men and virgins; old men and children:

जवान पुरुषहरू र जवान स्‍त्रीहरू, वृद्धहरू र बालकहरू दुवैले ।

13 Let them give glory to the name of the Lord: for his name only is to be praised: his kingdom is over the earth and the heaven.

तिनीहरू सबैले परमप्रभुको नाउँको प्रशंसा गरून्, किनकि उहाँको नाउँ मात्र उच्‍च पारिन्छ र उहाँको महिमाले पृथ्वी र स्वर्गलाई ढाक्छ ।

14 He has put on high the horn of his people, for the praise of all his saints; even the children of Israel, a people which is near to him. Let the Lord be praised.

उहाँले आफ्‍ना सबै विश्‍वासयोग्य जनहरू, इस्राएलीहरू, उहाँका नजिकका सबै मानिसबाट प्रशंसाको निम्‍ति आफ्‍ना मानिसहरूका सिङ खडा गर्नुभएको छ । परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर ।
