Psalms 105
1 O give praise to the Lord; give honour to his name, talking of his doings among the peoples.
യഹോവയ്ക്കു സ്തോത്രംചെയ്യുക, അവിടത്തെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുക; അവിടത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തി ജനതകൾക്കിടയിൽ വിളംബരംചെയ്യുക.
2 Let your voice be sounding in songs and melody; let all your thoughts be of the wonder of his works.
അവിടത്തേക്ക് പാടുക, അവിടത്തേക്ക് സ്തോത്രഗീതങ്ങൾ ആലപിക്കുക; അവിടത്തെ അത്ഭുതപ്രവൃത്തികൾ വർണിക്കുക.
3 Have glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who are searching after the Lord be glad.
അവിടത്തെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തിൽ അഭിമാനംകൊള്ളുക; യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഹൃദയം ആനന്ദിക്കട്ടെ.
4 Let your search be for the Lord and for his strength; let your hearts ever be turned to him.
യഹോവയെയും അവിടത്തെ ശക്തിയെയും അന്വേഷിക്കുക; എപ്പോഴും അവിടത്തെ മുഖവും.
5 Keep in mind the great works which he has done; his wonders, and the decisions of his mouth;
യഹോവയുടെ ദാസനായ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതികളേ, അവിടന്ന് തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത യാക്കോബിന്റെ മക്കളേ, അവിടന്നു ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതപ്രവൃത്തികൾ ഓർക്കുക, അവിടത്തെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും ന്യായവിധികളും സ്മരിക്കുക.
6 O you seed of Abraham, his servant, you children of Jacob, his loved ones.
7 He is the Lord our God: he is judge of all the earth.
അവിടന്ന് നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ ന്യായവിധികൾ ഭൂതലത്തിലെല്ലാം ഉണ്ട്.
8 He has kept his agreement in mind for ever, the word which he gave for a thousand generations;
അവിടന്നു തന്റെ ഉടമ്പടി എന്നേക്കും ഓർക്കുന്നു, അവിടത്തെ വാഗ്ദത്തം ഒരായിരം തലമുറകൾവരെയും
9 The agreement which he made with Abraham, and his oath to Isaac;
അവിടന്ന് അബ്രാഹാമിനോടു ചെയ്ത ഉടമ്പടിയും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടു ചെയ്ത ശപഥവുംതന്നെ.
10 And he gave it to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an eternal agreement;
അവിടന്ന് അത് യാക്കോബിന് ഒരു പ്രമാണമായും ഇസ്രായേലിന് ഒരു ശാശ്വത ഉടമ്പടിയായും ഉറപ്പിച്ചുനൽകി:
11 Saying, To you will I give the land of Canaan, the measured line of your heritage:
“നിങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ ഓഹരിയായി, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് കനാൻദേശം നൽകും.”
12 When they were still small in number, and strange in the land;
അന്ന് അവർ എണ്ണത്തിൽ കുറവായിരുന്നപ്പോൾ, ചെറിയൊരുകൂട്ടവും പ്രവാസികളും ആയിരുന്നപ്പോൾ,
13 When they went about from one nation to another, and from one kingdom to another people.
അവർ രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളിലേക്കും ഒരു രാജ്യത്തുനിന്ന് മറ്റൊന്നിലേക്കും അലഞ്ഞുതിരിഞ്ഞു.
14 He would not let anyone do them wrong; he even kept back kings because of them,
അവരെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിന് അവിടന്ന് ആരെയും അനുവദിച്ചില്ല; അവർക്കുവേണ്ടി അവിടന്ന് രാജാക്കന്മാരെ ശാസിച്ചു:
15 Saying, Put not your hand on those who have been marked with my holy oil, and do my prophets no wrong.
“എന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തരെ സ്പർശിക്കരുത്; എന്റെ പ്രവാചകർക്ക് ഒരു ദ്രോഹവും ചെയ്യരുത്.”
16 And he took away all food from the land, so that the people were without bread.
അവിടന്ന് ദേശത്ത് ക്ഷാമം വരുത്തുകയും അവർക്ക് ഭക്ഷണം ലഭിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള മാർഗം ഇല്ലാതാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു;
17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was given as a servant for a price:
അവിടന്ന് ഒരു പുരുഷനെ അവർക്കുമുമ്പായി അയച്ചു— അടിമയായി വിൽക്കപ്പെട്ട യോസേഫിനെത്തന്നെ.
18 His feet were fixed in chains; his neck was put in iron bands;
അവർ ചങ്ങലയാൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പാദങ്ങളിൽ മുറിവേൽപ്പിച്ചു, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കഴുത്ത് ഇരുമ്പുപട്ടകൾക്കകത്തായിരുന്നു;
19 Till the time when his word came true; he was tested by the word of the Lord.
അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പ്രവചനം യാഥാർഥ്യമാകുന്നതുവരെ, അതേ, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം അദ്ദേഹം സത്യവാനെന്നു തെളിയിക്കുന്നതുവരെത്തന്നെ.
20 The king sent men to take off his chains; even the ruler of the people, who let him go free.
രാജാവ് ആളയച്ച് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ മോചിപ്പിച്ചു, ആ ജനതയുടെ ഭരണാധിപൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ സ്വതന്ത്രനാക്കി.
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler over everything he had;
രാജാവ് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ തന്റെ ഭവനത്തിന്റെ അധിപതിയാക്കി, തനിക്കുള്ള സകലസമ്പത്തിന്റെയും ഭരണാധിപനും;
22 To give his chiefs teaching at his pleasure, and so that his law-givers might get wisdom from him.
തന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർക്ക് യോസേഫിന്റെ ഹിതപ്രകാരം ശിക്ഷണം നൽകുന്നതിനും തന്റെ പ്രമുഖരെ ജ്ഞാനം അഭ്യസിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുംതന്നെ.
23 Then Israel came into Egypt, and Jacob was living in the land of Ham.
അതിനുശേഷം ഇസ്രായേൽ ഈജിപ്റ്റിലേക്കു പ്രവേശിച്ചു; ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്ത് യാക്കോബ് ഒരു പ്രവാസിയായി താമസിച്ചു.
24 And his people were greatly increased, and became stronger than those who were against them.
യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ അത്യധികമായി വർധിപ്പിച്ചു; അവരെ അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കളെക്കാളും അതിശക്തരാക്കി,
25 Their hearts were turned to hate against his people, so that they made secret designs against them.
അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ ഹൃദയം തന്റെ ജനത്തെ വെറുക്കുന്നതിനായി തിരിച്ചുവിട്ടു, യഹോവയുടെ സേവകർക്കെതിരേ ഗൂഢാലോചന നടത്തുന്നതിനായിത്തന്നെ.
26 He sent Moses, his servant, and Aaron, the man of his selection.
അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ ദാസനായ മോശയെ അയച്ചു, താൻ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത അഹരോനെയും.
27 He let his signs be seen among the people, and his wonders in the land of Ham.
അവർ ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർക്കിടയിൽ അങ്ങയുടെ ചിഹ്നങ്ങളും ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്ത് അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു.
28 He sent black night and made it dark; and they did not go against his word.
അവിടന്ന് ഇരുൾ അയച്ച് ദേശത്തെ അന്ധകാരമാക്കി; അവർ അവിടത്തെ ഉത്തരവുകൾ പാലിക്കാതിരുന്നതിനാൽത്തന്നെ.
29 At his word their waters were turned to blood, and he sent death on all their fish.
അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ വെള്ളം മുഴുവനും രക്തമാക്കി; അവരുടെ മത്സ്യങ്ങളെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.
30 Their land was full of frogs, even in the rooms of the king.
അവരുടെ ദേശത്ത് തവളകൾ തിങ്ങിനിറഞ്ഞു, അവ ഭരണാധിപന്മാരുടെ കിടപ്പുമുറികളിൽപോലും എത്തിച്ചേർന്നു.
31 He gave the word, and there came the dog-fly, and insects over all the land.
അവിടന്ന് ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചു, ഈച്ചകൾ കൂട്ടമായി വന്നണഞ്ഞു, അവരുടെ ദേശത്തെല്ലാം പേനും പെരുകി.
32 He gave them ice for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
മഴയ്ക്കുപകരമായി അവിടന്നവർക്ക് കന്മഴനൽകി, ദേശത്തിലുടനീളം മിന്നൽപ്പിണരുകൾ വീശിയടിച്ചു;
33 He gave their vines and their fig-trees to destruction, and the trees of their land were broken down.
അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ മുന്തിരിവള്ളികളും അത്തിമരങ്ങളും രാജ്യത്തുടനീളമുള്ള സകലവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞു.
34 At his word the locusts came, and young locusts more than might be numbered,
അവിടന്ന് ഉത്തരവുനൽകി, വെട്ടുക്കിളി പറന്നുവന്നു, പുൽച്ചാടികളുടെ എണ്ണം അസംഖ്യമായിരുന്നു;
35 And put an end to all the plants of their land, taking all the fruit of the earth for food.
അവ ദേശത്തെ പച്ചിലകൾ സകലതും തിന്നൊടുക്കി, നിലത്തിലെ സകലവിളവും അവ തിന്നുതീർത്തു.
36 He put to death the first child of every family in the land, the first-fruits of their strength.
അതിനുശേഷം ദേശത്തിലെ സകല ആദ്യജാതന്മാരെയും അവിടന്ന് സംഹരിച്ചു, അവരുടെ പൗരുഷത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യഫലങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ.
37 He took his people out with silver and gold: there was not one feeble person among them.
അവിടന്ന് ഇസ്രായേലിനെ വെള്ളിയോടും സ്വർണത്തോടുംകൂടെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു, ഇസ്രായേൽഗോത്രങ്ങളിൽ ആരുടെയും അടിപതറിയില്ല.
38 Egypt was glad when they went; for the fear of them had come down on them.
അവർ പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ ഈജിപ്റ്റ് ആഹ്ലാദിച്ചു; ഇസ്രായേലിനെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള ഭീതി അവരുടെമേൽ വീണിരുന്നതിനാൽത്തന്നെ.
39 A cloud was stretched over them for a cover; and he sent fire to give light in the night.
അവർക്കുമീതേ ആവരണമായി അവിടന്ന് ഒരു മേഘത്തെ വിരിച്ചു, രാത്രി പ്രകാശത്തിനായി അഗ്നിയും അവർക്കു നൽകി.
40 At the people's request he sent birds, and gave them the bread of heaven for food.
അവർ ചോദിച്ചു, അപ്പോൾ അങ്ങ് അവർക്ക് കാടപ്പക്ഷികളെ നൽകി; ആകാശത്തുനിന്നുള്ള അപ്പംകൊണ്ട് അവരെ തൃപ്തരാക്കി.
41 His hand made the rock open, and the waters came streaming out; they went down through the dry places like a river.
അവിടന്ന് പാറയെ പിളർന്നു, വെള്ളം പൊട്ടിപ്പുറപ്പെട്ടു; മരുഭൂമിയിലതൊരു നദിപോലെ ഒഴുകി.
42 For he kept in mind his holy word, and Abraham, his servant.
അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ ദാസനായ അബ്രാഹാമിനു നൽകിയ വിശുദ്ധ വാഗ്ദാനത്തെ ഓർത്തതിനാൽത്തന്നെ.
43 And he took his people out with joy, the men of his selection with glad cries:
അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ ജനത്തെ ആനന്ദത്തോടും തന്റെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടവരെ ആഹ്ലാദാരവത്തോടുംകൂടെ ആനയിച്ചു.
44 And gave them the lands of the nations; and they took the work of the peoples for a heritage;
അവിടന്ന് അവർക്ക് ഇതര രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളുടെ ഭൂപ്രദേശം നൽകി, അങ്ങനെ അന്യരുടെ അധ്വാനഫലം അവർ അവകാശമായി അനുഭവിച്ചു—
45 So that they might keep his orders, and be true to his laws. Give praise to the Lord.
അവർ അവിടത്തെ പ്രമാണങ്ങൾ പാലിക്കേണ്ടതിനും അവിടത്തെ നിയമങ്ങൾ അനുസരിക്കേണ്ടതിനുംതന്നെ. യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.
