Numbers 4
1 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,
Y habló Jehová a Moisés y a Aarón, diciendo:
2 Let the sons of Kohath, from among the sons of Levi, be numbered by their families, in the order of their fathers' houses;
Toma la cuenta de los hijos de Caat de entre los hijos de Leví, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres.
3 All those from thirty to fifty years old who are able to do the work of the Tent of meeting.
De edad de treinta años y arriba hasta cincuenta años, todos los que entran en compañía para hacer obra en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
4 And this is to be the work of the sons of Kohath in connection with the most holy things.
Este será el oficio de los hijos de Caat en el tabernáculo del testimonio, en el lugar santísimo:
5 When all the people go forward, Aaron is to go in with his sons, and take down the veil of the curtain, covering the ark of witness with it;
Cuando se hubiere de mudar el campo, vendrá Aarón, y sus hijos, y desarmarán el velo de la tienda, y cubrirán con él el arca del testimonio.
6 And putting over it the leather cover and over that a blue cloth; and putting its rods in place.
Y pondrán sobre ella la cobertura de pieles de tejones, y extenderán encima el paño todo de cárdeno, y ponerle han sus barras.
7 And on the table of the holy bread they are to put a blue cloth, and on it all the vessels, the spoons and the basins and the cups; and the holy bread with them;
Y sobre la mesa de la proposición extenderán el paño cárdeno, y pondrán sobre ella las escudillas, y los cucharones, y los tazones, y las cubiertas, y el pan continuo estará sobre ella.
8 And over them they are to put a red cloth, covering it with a leather cover, and putting its rods in their places.
Y extenderán sobre ello el paño de carmesí colorado, y cubrirlo han con la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y ponerle han sus barras.
9 And they are to take a blue cloth, covering with it the light-support with its lights and its instruments and its trays and all the oil vessels which are used for it:
Y tomarán el paño cárdeno, y cubrirán el candelero de la luminaria, y sus candilejas, y sus despabiladeras, y sus paletas, y todos sus vasos del aceite con que se sirve.
10 All these they are to put in a leather cover, and put it on the frame.
Y ponerlo han con todos sus vasos en la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y ponerlo han sobre las barras.
11 On the gold altar they are to put a blue cloth, covering it with a leather cover; and they are to put its rods in their places.
Y sobre el altar de oro extenderán el paño cárdeno, y cubrirlo han con la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y ponerle han sus barras.
12 All the vessels which are used in the holy place they are to put in a blue cloth, covering them with a leather cover, and put them on the frame.
Y tomarán todos los vasos de servicio, de que se sirven en el santuario, y ponerlos han en el paño cárdeno, y cubrirlos han con la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y ponerlos han sobre las barras.
13 And they are to take away the burned waste from the altar, and put a purple cloth on it;
Y quitarán la ceniza del altar, y extenderán sobre él el paño de púrpura.
14 Placing on the cloth all its vessels, the fire-baskets, the meat-hooks, the spades, and the basins; all the vessels of the altar; they are to put a leather cover over all these, and put its rods in their places.
Y pondrán sobre él todos sus instrumentos de que se sirve: las paletas, los garfios, los braseros, y los tazones, todos los vasos del altar: y extenderán sobre él la cobertura de pieles de tejones, y ponerlo han sobre las barras.
15 And after the holy place and all its vessels have been covered up by Aaron and his sons, when the tents of the people go forward, the sons of Kohath are to come and take it up; but the holy things may not be touched by them for fear of death.
Y en acabando Aarón y sus hijos de cubrir el santuario, y todos los vasos del santuario, cuando el campo se hubiere de mudar, vendrán después así los hijos de Caat para llevar: y no tocarán el santuario, que morirán. Estas serán las cargas de los hijos de Caat en el tabernáculo del testimonio:
16 And Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, is to be responsible for the oil for the light, and the sweet perfumes for burning, and the regular meal offering, and the holy oil; the House and the holy place and everything in it will be in his care.
Empero al cargo de Eleazar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote, será el aceite de la luminaria, y el perfume aromático, y el presente continuo, y el aceite de la unción: el cargo de todo el tabernáculo, y de todo lo que está en él, en el santuario y en sus vasos.
17 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,
Ítem, habló Jehová a Moisés, y a Aarón, diciendo:
18 Do not let the family of the Kohathites be cut off from among the Levites;
No cortaréis la tribu de las familias de Caat de entre los Levitas:
19 But do this to them, so that life and not death may be theirs when they come near the most holy things; let Aaron and his sons go in and give to every one his work and that which he is to take up;
Mas esto haréis con ellos, para que vivan, y no mueran: Cuando llegaren al lugar santísimo, vendrán Aarón y sus hijos, y ponerlos han a cada uno en su oficio y en su cargo.
20 But they themselves are not to go in to see the holy place, even for a minute, for fear of death.
No entrarán para ver, cuando cubrieren las cosas santas, que morirán.
21 And the Lord said to Moses,
Ítem, habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo:
22 Let the sons of Gershon be numbered by families, in the order of their fathers' houses;
Toma la cuenta de los hijos de Gersón también a ellos por las casas de sus padres, por sus familias:
23 All those from thirty to fifty years old who are able to do the work of the Tent of meeting.
De edad de treinta años y arriba, hasta cincuenta años los contarás, todos los que entran en compañía para hacer obra en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
24 This is to be the work of the Gershonites, the things they are to do and take up.
Este será el oficio de las familias de Gersón para ministrar, y para llevar.
25 They are to take up the curtains of the House, and the Tent of meeting with its cover and the leather cover over it, and the hangings for the door of the Tent of meeting;
Llevarán las cortinas del tabernáculo, y el tabernáculo del testimonio, su cobertura, y la cubierta de pieles de tejones, que está sobre él encima, y el pabellón de la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio.
26 And the hangings for the open space round the House and the altar, and the curtain for its doorway, with the cords and all the things used for them; whatever is necessary for these, they are to do.
Y las cortinas del patio, y el pabellón de la puerta del patio, que está sobre el tabernáculo, y sobre el altar al derredor, y sus cuerdas, y todos los instrumentos de su servicio, y todo lo que será hecho para ellos, y servirán.
27 From the mouth of Aaron and his sons the Gershonites will have word about all the things they are to do and take up; you are to give them their orders.
Conforme al dicho de Aarón y de sus hijos será todo el ministerio de los hijos de Gersón en todas sus cargas, y en todo su servicio: y encomendarles heis en guarda todas sus cargas.
28 This is the work of the family of the Gershonites in the Tent of meeting, and they will be under the direction of Ithamar, the son of Aaron the priest.
Este es el servicio de las familias de los hijos de Gersón en el tabernáculo del testimonio: y la guarda de ellos será por mano de Itamar, hijo de Aarón sacerdote.
29 The sons of Merari are to be numbered by families, in the order of their fathers' houses;
Los hijos de Merari, contarlos has por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres;
30 Every one from thirty to fifty years old who is able to do the work of the Tent of meeting.
Desde el que es de edad de treinta años y arriba, hasta el que es de edad de cincuenta años, los contarás, todos los que entran en compañía para hacer obra en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
31 And this is their part in the work of the Tent of meeting: the transport of the boards and the rods of the Tent, with the pillars and their bases;
Y esta será la guarda de su cargo para todo su servicio en el tabernáculo del testimonio: Las tablas del tabernáculo, y sus barras, y sus columnas, y sus basas:
32 And the pillars of the open space outside it, with their bases and their nails and cords and all the instruments used, and everything which has to be done there; all the instruments for which they are responsible are to be numbered by name.
Ítem, las columnas del patio al derredor, y sus basas, y sus estacas, y sus cuerdas, con todos sus instrumentos, y todo su servicio: y contaréis por sus nombres todos los vasos de la guarda de su cargo.
33 This is the work which the sons of Merari are to do in connection with the Tent of meeting, under the direction of Ithamar, the son of Aaron the priest.
Este será el servicio de las familias de los hijos de Merari para todo su ministerio en el tabernáculo del testimonio por mano de Itamar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote.
34 So Moses and Aaron and the chiefs of the people took in hand the numbering of the sons of the Kohathites, by families, in the order of their fathers' houses;
Y contó Moisés y Aarón y los príncipes de la congregación a los hijos de Caat por sus familias, y por las casas de sus padres,
35 Numbering all those from thirty to fifty years old who were able to do the work in the Tent of meeting;
Desde el de edad de treinta años y arriba, hasta el de edad de cincuenta años, todos los que entran en compañía para ministrar en el tabernáculo del testimonio:
36 And the number of all these was two thousand, seven hundred and fifty.
Y fueron los contados de ellos por sus familias dos mil y sietecientos y cincuenta.
37 This is the number of those of the Kohathites who did the work in the Tent of meeting, as they were numbered by Moses and Aaron at the order of the Lord.
Estos fueron los contados de las familias de Caat: todos los que ministran en el tabernáculo del testimonio, los cuales contaron Moisés y Aarón como lo mandó Jehová, por mano de Moisés.
38 And those of the sons of Gershon who were numbered by families,
Y los contados de los hijos de Gersón por sus familias, y por las casas de sus padres,
39 All those from thirty to fifty years old who were able to do the work in the Tent of meeting,
Desde el de edad de treinta años y arriba, hasta el de edad de cincuenta años, todos los que entran en compañía para ministrar en el tabernáculo del testimonio,
40 Who were numbered by families in the order of their fathers' houses, were two thousand, six hundred and thirty.
Los contados de ellos por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, fueron dos mil y seiscientos y treinta.
41 This is the number of the sons of Gershon who did the work in the Tent of meeting, as they were numbered by Moses and Aaron at the order of the Lord.
Estos son los contados de las familias de los hijos de Gersón, todos los que ministran en el tabernáculo del testimonio, los cuales contaron Moisés y Aarón por mandado de Jehová.
42 And those of the sons of Merari who were numbered by families, in the order of their fathers' houses,
Y los contados de las familias de los hijos de Merari por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres,
43 All those from thirty to fifty years old who did the work in the Tent of meeting,
Desde el de edad de treinta años y arriba, hasta el de edad de cincuenta años, todos los que entran en compañía para ministrar en el tabernáculo del testimonio,
44 Who were numbered by families, were three thousand, two hundred.
Los contados de ellos por sus familias fueron tres mil y doscientos.
45 This is the number of the sons of Merari, numbered by Moses and Aaron at the order of the Lord.
Estos fueron los contados de las familias de los hijos de Merari, los cuales contaron Moisés y Aarón como lo mandó Jehová, por la mano de Moisés.
46 And all the Levites who were numbered by Moses and Aaron and the chiefs of the people, by families, in the order of their fathers' houses,
Todos los contados de los Levitas, que contaron Moisés y Aarón, y los príncipes de Israel por sus familias, y por las casas de sus padres,
47 Those from thirty to fifty years old who were able to do the work of the Tent of meeting and of its transport,
Desde el de edad de treinta años y arriba, hasta el de edad de cincuenta años, todos los que entraban para servir en el servicio, y tener cargo de obra en el tabernáculo del testimonio,
48 Came to eight thousand, five hundred and eighty.
Los contados de ellos fueron ocho mil y quinientos y ochenta.
49 At the order of the Lord they were numbered by Moses, every one in relation to his work and to his part in the transport; so they were numbered by Moses at the order of the Lord.
Como lo mandó Jehová por mano de Moisés fueron contados, cada uno según su oficio, y según su cargo, los cuales él contó como le fue mandado.
