Numbers 23
1 And Balaam said to Balak, Make me here seven altars and get ready seven oxen and seven male sheep.
১বিলিয়মে বালাকক ক’লে, “তুমি এই ঠাইত মোৰ কাৰণে সাতোটা যজ্ঞবেদী নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰোঁৱা আৰু এই ঠাইতে মোৰ বাবে সাতোটা ভতৰা আৰু সাতোটা মতা মেৰ আয়োজন কৰা।”
2 And Balak did as Balaam had said; and Balak and Balaam made an offering on every altar of an ox and a male sheep.
২বালাকে বিলিয়মৰ কথাৰ দৰেই কৰিলে। তেতিয়া বালাক আৰু বিলিয়মে প্রত্যেকটা যজ্ঞবেদীত এটা এটা ভতৰা আৰু এটা এটা মতা মেৰ উৎসৰ্গ কৰিলে।
3 Then Balaam said to Balak, Take your place by your burned offering, and I will go and see if the Lord comes to me: and I will give you word of whatever he says to me. And he went to an open place on a hill.
৩তেতিয়া বিলিয়মে বালাকক ক’লে, “তুমি তোমাৰ হোম বলিৰ ওচৰত থিয় হোৱা, মই যাওঁ। কিজানি যিহোৱাই মোৰে সৈতে সাক্ষাৎ কৰিব। সেয়ে হলে তেওঁ মোক যিহকে দেখুৱাই, তাকেই মই তোমাক ক’ম।” পাছে তেওঁ গছ-গছনি নথকা এনে এখন ওখ ঠাইলৈ গ’ল।
4 And God came to Balaam, and Balaam said to him, I have made ready seven altars, offering an ox and a male sheep on every altar.
৪তেতিয়া ঈশ্বৰে বিলিয়মেৰে সৈতে সাক্ষাৎ কৰিলত, বিলিয়মে তেওঁ ক’লে, “মই সাতোটা যজ্ঞবেদী যুগুত কৰিলোঁ আৰু প্ৰত্যেকটি যজ্ঞবেদীত এটা এটা ভতৰা আৰু এটা এটা মতা মেৰ উৎসৰ্গ কৰিলোঁ।”
5 And the Lord put words in Balaam's mouth, and said, Go back to Balak, and this is what you are to say.
৫তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই বিলিয়মৰ মুখত এক বাক্য দি তেওঁক ক’লে, “তুমি বালাকৰ ওচৰলৈ উলটি গৈ তেওঁক এই কথা কোৱা।”
6 So he went back to him where he was waiting by his burned offering with all the chiefs of Moab.
৬তেতিয়া বিলিয়ম বালাকৰ ওচৰলৈ উলটি গ’ল, চোৱা, সেই সময়ত মোৱাবৰ অধ্যক্ষসকলেৰে সৈতে বালাক নিজৰ হোম বলিৰ ওচৰত থিয় হৈ আছিল।
7 And in the words which the Lord had given him he said, From Aram Balak has sent for me, the king of Moab from the mountains of the East: come, put curses on Jacob for me and be angry with Israel.
৭তেতিয়া বিলিয়মে নিজৰ ভৱিষ্যৎ বাণী পদ্যৰূপে গাই ক’লে, “বালাকে অৰামৰ পৰা মোক অনালে, মোৱাবৰ ৰজাই পূবফালৰ পৰ্ব্বতৰ পৰা মোক অনালে। ‘আহাঁ, মোৰ কাৰণে যাকোবক শাও দিয়া,’ তেওঁ ক’লে। আহাঁ, ইস্ৰায়েলক ধিক্কাৰ দিয়া।’
8 How may I put curses on him who is not cursed by God? how may I be angry with him with whom the Lord is not angry?
৮কিন্তু ঈশ্বৰে শাও নিদিয়া লোকক মই কেনেকৈ শাও দিম? আৰু যিহোৱাই ধিক্কাৰ নিদিয়া লোকক মই কেনেকৈ ধিক্কাৰ দিম?
9 From the top of the rocks I see him, looking down on him from the hills: it is a people made separate, not to be numbered among the nations.
৯কিয়নো মই শিলবোৰৰ টিঙৰ পৰা সেইজনক দেখা পাইছোঁ; আৰু পৰ্ব্বতৰ পৰা সেইজনক দেখিছোঁ। চোৱা, তেওঁলোক অকলে বাস কৰা লোক জাতি সমূহৰ মাজত তেওঁলোক গণিত নহয়।
10 Who is able to take the measure of the dust of Jacob or the number of the thousands of Israel? May my death be the death of the upright and my last end like his!
১০যাকোবৰ ধূলি কোনে লেখ কৰিব পাৰে? বা ইস্ৰায়েলৰ চাৰি ভাগৰ এভাগকে কোনে গণিব পাৰে? ধাৰ্মিকৰ মৃত্যুৰ নিচিনা মোৰ মৃত্যু হওঁক, আৰু তেওঁৰ শেষ গতিৰ নিচিনা মোৰ শেষগতি হওঁক।”
11 Then Balak said to Balaam, What have you done to me? I sent for you so that my haters might be cursed, and see, you have given them a blessing.
১১তেতিয়া বালাকে বিলিয়মক ক’লে, “আপুনি মোলৈ এইয়া কি কৰিলে? মোৰ শত্ৰুবোৰক শাও দিবলৈ মই আপোনাক অনিলোঁ; আপুনি সিহঁতক সকলো ভাৱে আশীৰ্ব্বাদহে কৰিলে।”
12 And in answer he said, Am I not ordered to say only what the Lord puts into my mouth?
১২তেতিয়া বিলিয়ামে উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই মোৰ মুখত যি কথা দিব, সাৱধান হৈ মই তাকে নক’ম নে?”
13 And Balak said to him, Come with me now into another place from which you will not be able to see them all, but only the outskirts of them; and you will send curses on them from there.
১৩পাছত বালাকে তেওঁক ক’লে, “মই বিনয় কৰোঁ, আপুনি যি ঠাইৰ পৰা তেওঁলোকক দেখিবলৈ পাব, এনেকুৱা আন ঠাইলৈ মোৰ লগত আহক। আপুনি তেওঁলোকৰ সকলোকে দেখা পোৱা নাই, কেৱল এফালহে দেখিবলৈ পাইছে, সেই ঠাইৰ পৰা মোৰ কাৰণে তেওঁলোকক শাও দিব।”
14 So he took him into the country of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and there they made seven altars, offering an ox and a male sheep on every altar.
১৪তেতিয়া বালাকে তেওঁক চোফীম পথাৰৰ মাজলৈ পিচগাৰ টিঙলৈ লৈ গ’ল; সেই ঠাইতে তেওঁ সাতোটা যজ্ঞবেদী নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰিলে আৰু প্ৰত্যেক যজ্ঞ-বেদীত এটা এটা ভতৰা আৰু এটা এটা মতা মেৰ উৎসৰ্গ কৰিলে।
15 Then he said to Balak, Take your place here by your burned offering, while I go over there to the Lord.
১৫পাছত তেওঁ বালাকক ক’লে, “তুমি এই ঠাইতে তোমাৰ হোম-বলিৰ ওচৰত থিয় হৈ থাকা; মই হ’লে, সৌ তাত ঈশ্বৰৰ সাক্ষাৎ কৰোঁগৈ।”
16 And the Lord came to Balaam, and put words in his mouth, and said, Go back to Balak, and this is what you are to say.
১৬তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই বিলিয়মেৰে সৈতে সাক্ষাৎ কৰি, তেওঁৰ মুখত এক বাক্য দি তেওঁক ক’লে, “তুমি বালাকৰ ওচৰলৈ উলটি গৈ তেওঁক এই কথা কোৱা।”
17 So he came to him where he was waiting by his burned offering with the chiefs of Moab by his side. And Balak said to him, What has the Lord said?
১৭বিলিয়ম তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ ঘূৰি আহিল; সেই সময়ত মোৱাবৰ অধ্যক্ষসকলেৰে সৈতে বালাক নিজৰ হোম-বলিৰ গুৰিত থিয় হৈ আছিল। তেতিয়া বালাকে তেওঁক সুধিলে, যিহোৱাই কি ক’লে?
18 And in the words which the Lord had given him he said, Up! Balak, and give ear; give attention to me, O son of Zippor:
১৮বিলিয়মে নিজৰ ভৱিষ্যৎ বাণী পদ্যৰূপে গাই ক’লে, তেওঁ ক’লে, “হে বালাক, উঠি শুনা, হে চিপ্পোৰৰ পুত্ৰ, মোৰ কথালৈ কাণ কৰা।
19 God is not a man, to say what is false; or the son of man, that his purpose may be changed: what he has said, will he not do? and will he not give effect to the words of his mouth?
১৯ঈশ্বৰ মনুষ্য নহয়, যে তেওঁ মিছা কথা ক’ব, তেওঁ মানুহৰ সন্তানো নহয়, যে তেওঁ মন ঘূৰাব। তেওঁ কৈ জানো সিদ্ধ নকৰিব? তেওঁ বাক্য কৈ জানো সাম্ফল নকৰিব?
20 See, I have had orders to give blessing: and he has given a blessing which I have no power to take away.
২০চোৱা, মই আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰিবলৈ আজ্ঞা পালোঁ। তেওঁ আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰিলে; মই তাৰ অন্যথা কৰিব নোৱাৰোঁ।
21 He has seen no evil in Jacob or wrongdoing in Israel: the Lord his God is with him, and the glad cry of a king is among them.
২১তেওঁ যাকোবত অধৰ্ম দেখা নাই, বা ইস্ৰায়েলৰ মাজত দুষ্টতা দেখা নাই; নিজ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা তেওঁৰ লগত থাকে, আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ মাজত ৰজাৰ জয়ধ্বনি আছে।
22 It is God who has taken them out of Egypt; his horns are like those of the mountain ox.
২২ঈশ্বৰে মিচৰ দেশৰ পৰা তেওঁলোকক আনিছে। তেওঁৰ বল মেঠনৰ বলৰ নিচিনা।
23 No evil power has effect against Jacob, no secret arts against Israel; at the right time it will be said of Jacob and of Israel, See what God has done!
২৩নিশ্চয়ে যাকোবৰ মাজত লক্ষণ চোৱা দস্তুৰ নাই, ইস্ৰায়েলৰ মাজত মঙ্গল চোৱা কাৰ্য নাই। এতিয়া যাকোব আৰু ইস্ৰায়েলৰ বিষয়ে কোৱা যাব, ‘চোৱা ঈশ্বৰে কেনে কাৰ্য কৰিলে!’
24 See, Israel comes up like a she-lion, lifting himself up like a lion: he will take no rest till he has made a meal of those he has overcome, drinking the blood of those he has put to death.
২৪চোৱা, সেই লোক সমূহ সিংহীৰ দৰে উঠিছে, সিংহৰ দৰে নিজৰ গা দাঙিছে; তেওঁ ধৰা পশু নাখায়মানে নুশুব, আৰু বধ কৰা লোকৰ তেজ পান নকৰেমানে শয়ন নকৰিব।”
25 Then Balak said to Balaam, If you will not put a curse on them, at all events do not give them a blessing.
২৫তেতিয়া বালাকে বিলিয়মক ক’লে, “আপুনি তেওঁলোকক সমূলি শাৱো নিদিব আৰু সমূলি আশীৰ্ব্বাদো নকৰিব।”
26 But Balaam in answer said to Balak, Did I not say to you, I may only do what the Lord says?
২৬তেতিয়া বিলিয়মে উত্তৰ দি বালাকক ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই মোক যি যি ক’ব, মই তাকেই কৰিম, এইবুলি জানো মই তোমাক কোৱা নাছিলো?”
27 Then Balak said to Balaam, Come now, I will take you to another place; it may be that God will let you put a curse on them from there.
২৭তথাপি বালাকে বিলিয়মক ক’লে, “বিনয় কৰি কওঁ, আহক, মই আপোনাক আন ঠাইলৈ লৈ যাওঁ। সেই ঠাইতে মোৰ কাৰণে আপুনি তেওঁলোকক শাও দিবলৈ কিজানি ঈশ্বৰ সন্তুষ্ট হ’ব পাৰে।”
28 So Balak took Balaam to the top of Peor, looking down over the waste land.
২৮গতিকে বালাকে যিচীমোনৰ ফাললৈ মুখ কৰা পিয়োৰৰ টিঙলৈ বিলিয়মক লৈ গ’ল।
29 And Balaam said to Balak, Make me seven altars here and get seven oxen and seven male sheep ready for me.
২৯বিলিয়মে বালাকক ক’লে, “এই ঠাইত মোৰ বাবে সাতোটা যজ্ঞবেদী নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰোঁৱা আৰু ইয়াতো মোৰ বাবে সাতোটা ভতৰা আৰু সাতোটা মতা মেৰ আয়োজন কৰা।”
30 And Balak did as Balaam said, offering an ox and a male sheep on every altar.
৩০তেতিয়া বালাকে বিলিয়মৰ বাক্য অনুসাৰে কাৰ্য কৰি, প্ৰত্যেক যজ্ঞবেদীতে এটা এটা ভতৰা আৰু এটা এটা মতা মেৰ উৎসৰ্গ কৰিলে।
