1 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses and to Aaron saying.
2 The children of Israel are to put up their tents in the order of their families, by the flags of their fathers' houses, facing the Tent of meeting on every side.
Everyone at standard his with [the] signs of [the] house of ancestors their they will encamp [the] people of Israel from before around [the] tent of meeting they will encamp.
3 Those whose tents are on the east side, looking to the dawn, will be round the flag of the children of Judah, with Nahshon, the son of Amminadab, as their chief.
And those [who] encamp east-ward east-ward [will be] [the] standard of [the] camp of Judah to military groups their and [the] leader of [the] descendants of Judah [was] Nahshon [the] son of Amminadab.
4 The number of his army was seventy-four thousand, six hundred.
And military group his and enrolled [men] their [were] four and seventy thousand and six hundred.
5 And nearest to him will be the tribe of Issachar, with Nethanel, the son of Zuar, as their chief.
And those [who] encamp on him [will be] [the] tribe of Issachar and [the] leader of [the] descendants of Issachar [was] Nethanel [the] son of Zuar.
6 The number of his army was fifty-four thousand, four hundred.
And military group his and enrolled [men] his [were] four and fifty thousand and four hundred.
7 After him, the tribe of Zebulun, with Eliab, the son of Helon, as their chief.
[the] tribe of Zebulun and [the] leader of [the] descendants of Zebulun [was] Eliab [the] son of Helon.
8 The number of his army was fifty-seven thousand, four hundred.
And military group his and enrolled [men] his [were] seven and fifty thousand and four hundred.
9 The number of all the armies of Judah was a hundred and eighty-six thousand, four hundred. They go forward first.
All those enrolled of [the] camp of Judah [were] one hundred thousand and eighty thousand and six thousand and four hundred to military groups their first they will set out.
10 On the south side is the flag of the children of Reuben, in the order of their armies, with Elizur, the son of Shedeur, as their chief.
[the] standard of [the] camp of Reuben [will be] south-ward to military groups their and [the] leader of [the] descendants of Reuben [was] Elizur [the] son of Shedeur.
11 The number of his army was forty-six thousand, five hundred.
And military group his and enrolled [men] his [were] six and forty thousand and five hundred.
12 And nearest to him, the tribe of Simeon, with Shelumiel, the son of Zurishaddai, as their chief.
And those [who] encamp on him [will be] [the] tribe of Simeon and [the] leader of [the] descendants of Simeon [was] Shelumiel [the] son of Zuri-shaddai.
13 The number of his army was fifty-nine thousand, three hundred.
And military group his and enrolled [men] their [were] nine and fifty thousand and three hundred.
14 Then the tribe of Gad, with Eliasaph, son of Reuel, as their chief.
And [the] tribe of Gad and [the] leader of [the] descendants of Gad [was] Eliasaph [the] son of Reuel.
15 The number of his army was forty-five thousand, six hundred and fifty.
And military group his and enrolled [men] their [were] five and forty thousand and six hundred and fifty.
16 The number of all the armies of Reuben together came to a hundred and fifty-one thousand, four hundred and fifty. They go forward second.
All those enrolled of [the] camp of Reuben [were] one hundred thousand and one and fifty thousand and four hundred and fifty to military groups their and second they will set out.
17 Then the Tent of meeting is to go forward, with the tents of the Levites, in the middle of the armies; in the same order as their tents are placed, they are to go forward, every man under his flag.
And it will set out [the] tent of meeting [the] camp of the Levites [will be] in [the] middle of the camps just as they will encamp so they will set out each on hand his to standards their.
18 On the west side will be the flag of the children of Ephraim, with Elishama, the son of Ammihud, as their chief.
[the] standard of [the] camp of Ephraim to military groups their [will be] west-ward and [the] leader of [the] descendants of Ephraim [was] Elishama [the] son of Ammihud.
19 The number of his army was forty thousand, five hundred.
And military group his and enrolled [men] their [were] forty thousand and five hundred.
20 And by him the tribe of Manasseh with Gamaliel, the son of Pedahzur, as their chief.
And [will be] on him [the] tribe of Manasseh and [the] leader of [the] descendants of Manasseh [was] Gamaliel [the] son of Pedahzur.
21 The number of his army was thirty-two thousand, two hundred.
And military group his and enrolled [men] their [were] two and thirty thousand and two hundred.
22 Then the tribe of Benjamin, with Abidan, the son of Gideoni, as their chief.
And [the] tribe of Benjamin and [the] leader of [the] descendants Benjamin [was] Abidan [the] son of Gideoni.
23 The number of his army was thirty-five thousand, four hundred.
And military group his and enrolled [men] their [were] five and thirty thousand and four hundred.
24 The number of all the armies of Ephraim was a hundred and eight thousand, one hundred. They go forward third.
All those enrolled of [the] camp of Ephraim [were] one hundred thousand and eight thousand and one hundred to military groups their and third they will set out.
25 On the north side will be the flag of the children of Dan, with Ahiezer, the son of Ammishaddai, as their chief.
[the] standard of [the] camp of Dan [will be] north-ward to military groups their and [the] leader of [the] descendants of Dan [was] Ahiezer [the] son of Ammishaddai.
26 The number of his army was sixty-two thousand, seven hundred.
And military group his and enrolled [men] their [were] two and sixty thousand and seven hundred.
27 Nearest to him will be the tribe of Asher, with Pagiel, the son of Ochran, as their chief.
And those [who] encamp on him [will be] [the] tribe of Asher and [the] leader of [the] descendants of Asher [was] Pagiel [the] son of Ocran.
28 The number of his army was forty-one thousand, five hundred;
And military group his and enrolled [men] their [were] one and forty thousand and five hundred.
29 Then the tribe of Naphtali, with Ahira, the son of Enan, as their chief.
And [the] tribe of Naphtali and [the] leader of [the] descendants of Naphtali [was] Ahira [the] son of Enan.
30 The number of his army was fifty-three thousand, four hundred.
And military group his and enrolled [men] their [were] three and fifty thousand and four hundred.
31 The number of all the armies in the tents of Dan was a hundred and fifty-seven thousand, six hundred. They will go forward last, by their flags.
All those enrolled of [the] camp of Dan [were] one hundred thousand and seven and fifty thousand and six hundred to the last they will set out to standards their.
32 These are all who were numbered of the children of Israel, in the order of their fathers' families: all the armies in their tents together came to six hundred and three thousand, five hundred and fifty.
These [were] [the] [men] enrolled of [the] people of Israel to [the] house of ancestors their all [those] enrolled of the camps to military groups their [were] six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
33 But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel, as the Lord said to Moses.
And the Levites not they were enrolled in among [the] people of Israel just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
34 So the children of Israel did as the Lord said to Moses, so they put up their tents by their flags, and they went forward in the same order, by their families, and by their fathers' houses.
And they did [the] people of Israel according to all that he had commanded Yahweh Moses so they camped to standards their and so they set out everyone to clans his on [the] house of ancestors his.
