Numbers 11
1 Now the people were saying evil against the Lord; and the Lord, hearing it, was angry and sent fire on them, burning the outer parts of the tent-circle.
၁တဖန် လူ များတို့သည် အလို တော်မရှိသော မြည်တမ်း ခြင်းကို ပြုကြသဖြင့်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သူတို့ စကားကိုကြား ၍ အမျက် ထွက်တော်မူ၏။ ရှို့တော်မူသောမီး သည် သူ တို့တွင် လောင် ၍ တပ် အစွန် အနား၌ ရှိသောသူအချို့တို့ကို သေ စေလေ၏။
2 And the people made an outcry to Moses, and Moses made prayer to the Lord, and the fire was stopped.
၂လူ များတို့သည် မောရှေ အား အော်ဟစ် ၍ ၊ မောရှေ သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ဆုတောင်း သဖြင့် မီး ငြိမ်း လေ၏။
3 So that place was named Taberah, because of the fire of the Lord which had been burning among them.
၃ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ မီး သည် သူ တို့တွင် လောင် သောကြောင့် ၊ ထို အရပ် ကို တဗေရ ဟူသောအမည် ဖြင့် မှည့် လေ၏။
4 And the mixed band of people who went with them were overcome by desire: and the children of Israel, weeping again, said, Who will give us flesh for our food?
၄ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့နှင့် ရောနှော လျက် ပါသောတပါးအမျိုးသားတို့သည် တောင့်တ သောစိတ် စွဲလမ်း ကြ၏။ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့သည်လည်း တဖန် ငိုကြွေး လျက် ငါ တို့စား စရာဘို့ အမဲသား ကို အဘယ်သူ ပေးလိမ့်မည်နည်း။
5 Sweet is the memory of the fish we had in Egypt for nothing, and the fruit and green plants of every sort, sharp and pleasing to the taste:
၅အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်၌ အလိုအလျောက် စား ရသော ငါး သား၊ သခွါးသီး ၊ ဖရဲသီး ၊ ကြက်သွန် အနီ၊ အဖြူ ၊ အရိုင်းအမျိုးမျိုးတို့ကို အောက်မေ့ ၏။
6 But now our soul is wasted away; there is nothing at all: we have nothing but this manna before our eyes.
၆ယခု မှာ ငါ တို့အသက် သည် အားလျော့ ပြီ။ ဤ မန္န မှတပါး တစုံတခု ကိုမျှ မ မြင် ရဟုဆိုကြ၏။
7 Now the manna was like a seed of grain, like small clear drops.
၇မန္န သည် နံနံ စေ့ နှင့်တူ ၍ ဗဓေလ သစ်စေ့ကဲ့သို့ အဆင်း ဖြစ်၏။
8 The people went about taking it up from the earth, crushing it between stones or hammering it to powder, and boiling it in pots, and they made cakes of it: its taste was like the taste of cakes cooked with oil.
၈လူ များတို့သည်လှည့်လည် လျက် မန္နကိုစုသိမ်း ၍ ဆုံ ၌ ကြိတ် ခြင်း၊ ထောင်း ခြင်းကိုပြုပြီးမှ အိုး နှင့် ပြုတ် ကြ၏။ မုန့်ပြား ကိုလည်း လုပ် ကြ၏။ အရသာ သည် မုန့်ဆီကြော် အရသာ နှင့် တူ၏။
9 When the dew came down on the tents at night, the manna came down with it.
၉စားခန်းချ ရာအရပ်၌ ညဉ့် အခါနှင်း နှင့်အတူ မန္န ကျ တတ်၏။
10 And at the sound of the people weeping, every man at his tent-door, the wrath of the Lord was great, and Moses was very angry.
၁၀ထိုအခါ လူ များအသီးအသီးတို့သည် မိမိ တဲ တံခါးဝ ၌ မိမိ အိမ်ထောင် နှင့်တကွငိုကြွေး ကြသည်ကို မောရှေ ကြား ရ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ပြင်းစွာ အမျက် ထွက်တော်မူ၏။ အပြစ် ရှိသည်ကို မောရှေ သိမြင် လျှင် ၊
11 And Moses said to the Lord, Why have you done me this evil? and why have I not grace in your eyes, that you have put on me the care of all this people?
၁၁ဤ လူ အပေါင်း တို့ကို ထမ်းစေဟု သူတို့ကို ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် အပေါ် မှာ တင် ၍ အဘယ်ကြောင့် အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ညှဉ်းဆဲ တော်မူပါသနည်း။ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ရှေ့ တော်၌ မျက်နှာ မ ရဘဲ နေရပါသနည်း။
12 Am I the father of all this people? have I given them birth, that you say to me, Take them in your arms, like a child at the breast, to the land which you gave by an oath to their fathers?
၁၂သူ တို့ဘိုးဘေး များ၌ ကျိန်ဆို တော်မူသော ပြည် သို့ သွား၍၊ အထိန်း သည် နို့စို့ သူငယ်ကိုဆောင် သကဲ့သို့ ၊ ဤလူတို့ကို ပိုက်ချီ လျက်ဆောင်လော့ဟု အကျွန်ုပ် အား မိန့် တော်မူမည်အကြောင်း ၊ ဤ လူ အပေါင်း တို့ကို အကျွန်ုပ် သည် ကိုယ်ဝန်ဆောင် ပါသလော။ ဘွားမြင် ပါသလော။
13 Where am I to get flesh to give to all this people? For they are weeping to me and saying, Give us flesh for our food.
၁၃ဤ လူ အပေါင်း တို့အား ကျွေး စရာဘို့ အမဲသား ကို အကျွန်ုပ် သည် အဘယ်မှာ ရနိုင်ပါအံ့နည်း။ သူတို့က အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ စား စရာဘို့ အမဲသား ကိုပေး ပါဟု ငိုကြွေး လျက် အကျွန်ုပ် ကို တောင်း ကြပါ၏။
14 I am not able by myself to take the weight of all this people, for it is more than my strength.
၁၄ဤ လူ အပေါင်း တို့ကို အကျွန်ုပ် တယောက်တည်း သာ မ ဆောင်ရွက် နိုင် ပါ။ ဆောင်ရွက်ရသောဝန်လည်း လေး လွန်းပါ၏။
15 If this is to be my fate, put me to death now in answer to my prayer, if I have grace in your eyes; and let me not see my shame.
၁၅ထိုသို့ အကျွန်ုပ် ၌ ပြု တော်မူလျှင် ၎င်း၊ စိတ် တွေ့တော်မူလျှင် ၎င်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ကိုအလျင်အမြန်သေ စေတော်မူပါ။ ကိုယ် ဆင်းရဲ ကို ကိုယ်မ သိ မမြင်ပါစေနှင့်ဟု ဘုရား အား လျှောက်ဆို ၏။
16 And the Lord said to Moses, Send for seventy of the responsible men of Israel, who are in your opinion men of weight and authority over the people; make them come to the Tent of meeting and be there with you.
၁၆ထာဝရဘုရား ကလည်း ၊ သင်ကျွမ်းကျင် သော ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား အသက်ကြီး ခုနစ်ကျိပ် တို့ကို ငါ့ ရှေ့မှာ စုဝေး စေပြီးလျှင်၊ ပရိသတ်စည်းဝေး ရာ တဲ တော် သို့ ခေါ် ခဲ့၍ သင် နှင့်အတူ ရပ် နေကြစေလော့။
17 And I will come down and have talk with you there: and I will take some of the spirit which is on you and put it on them, and they will take part of the weight of the people off you, so that you do not have to take it by yourself.
၁၇ငါသည်လည်း ထို အရပ်သို့ ဆင်းသက် ၍ သင် နှင့် နှုတ်ဆက် မည်။ သင့် အပေါ် မှာ ကျိန်းဝပ်သော ဝိညာဉ် အချို့ကို ငါယူ ၍ သူ တို့အပေါ် မှာ တင် မည်။ ဤလူတို့ ကို သင် တယောက်တည်း သာ ဆောင်ရွက် ရမည် မ ဟုတ်၊ ထိုအသက်ကြီးသူတို့သည် ဝိုင်းညီ၍ ဆောင်ရွက် ရကြမည်။
18 And say to the people, Make yourselves clean before tomorrow and you will have flesh for your food: for in the ears of the Lord you have been weeping and saying, Who will give us flesh for food? for we were well off in Egypt: and so the Lord will give you flesh, and it will be your food;
၁၈သင်သည်လည်း လူ များတို့အား ဆင့်ဆို ရမည်မှာ၊ နက်ဖြန် နေ့အဘို့ ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ်သန့်ရှင်း စင်ကြယ်လော့။ အမဲသား ကိုစား ရကြမည်။ သင်တို့က အဘယ်သူသည် ငါ တို့ အား အမဲသား ကိုပေး လိမ့်မည်နည်း။ အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်၌ နေစဉ်၊ ငါ တို့သည် ချမ်းသာ စွာနေကြ၏ဟု ငိုကြွေး လျက် ပြောဆို သံကို ထာဝရဘုရား ကြား သောကြောင့်၊ အမဲသား ကိုပေး တော်မူသဖြင့် သင်တို့သည် စား ရကြမည်။
19 Not for one day only, or even for five or ten or twenty days;
၁၉တ ရက် ၊ နှစ်ရက် ၊ ငါး ရက် ၊ ဆယ် ရက် ၊ အရက် နှစ်ဆယ် သာ စား ရကြမည်မ ဟုတ်။
20 But every day for a month, till you are tired of it, turning from it in disgust: because you have gone against the Lord who is with you, and have been weeping before him saying, Why did we come out of Egypt?
၂၀သင် တို့နှာခေါင်း ထဲက အမဲသားထွက် ၍ ရွံ စရာ ဖြစ် သည်တိုင်အောင် တလ ပတ်လုံးစားရကြမည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ သင် တို့တွင် ရှိတော်မူသောထာဝရဘုရား ကို၊ သင်တို့သည် မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြု လျက်၊ ငါတို့သည် အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်မှ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ထွက်လာ ရကြသနည်းဟု ရှေ့ တော်၌ ငိုကြွေး လျက် ပြောဆို ကြပြီ တကားဟု မောရှေ အား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
21 Then Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand men on foot; and you have said, I will give them flesh to be their food for a month.
၂၁မောရှေ ကလည်း ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် နှင့် ဆိုင်သော လူ ယောက်ျားအပေါင်းခြောက် သိန်းရှိကြသည်ဖြစ်၍ကိုယ်တော်က တ လစား စရာဘို့ သူ တို့အား အမဲသား ကို ငါပေး မည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူပါသည်တကား၊
22 Are flocks and herds to be put to death for them? or are all the fish in the sea to be got together so that they may be full?
၂၂သူ တို့ကို ဝ စွာကျွေးခြင်းငှါ၊ သိုး ဆိတ်နွား စုတို့ကိုသတ် ရပါမည်လော။ သို့မဟုတ်ဝ စွာကျွေးခြင်းငှါ၊ ပင်လယ် ငါး ရှိသမျှ တို့ ကိုစုဝေး ရပါမည်လောဟု လျှောက် လျှင်၊
23 And the Lord said to Moses, Has the Lord's hand become short? Now you will see if my word comes true for you or not.
၂၃ထာဝရဘုရား က၊ ထာဝရဘုရား လက် တို သလော။ ငါ့ စကား တည် မည် မ တည်မည်ကို သင်သိ လိမ့်မည်ဟု မောရှေ အား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
24 And Moses went out and gave the people the words of the Lord: and he took seventy of the responsible men of the people, placing them round the Tent.
၂၄မောရှေ သည် ထွက် ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ စကား တော်ကို လူ များတို့အား ဆင့်ဆို ပြီးလျှင် ၊ အမျိုးသား အသက်ကြီး သူခုနစ်ကျိပ် တို့ကို စုဝေး စေ၍ ၊ ပရိသတ် စည်းဝေးရာ တဲ တော်ပတ်လည် ၌ ထား လေ၏။
25 Then the Lord came down in the cloud and had talk with him, and put on the seventy men some of the spirit which was on him: now when the spirit came to rest on them, they were like prophets, but only at that time.
၂၅ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မိုဃ်းတိမ် ဖြင့် ဆင်းသက် ၍ မောရှေ နှင့် နှုတ်ဆက် တော်မူ၏။ မောရှေ အပေါ် မှာ ကျိန်းဝပ်သော ဝိညာဉ် အချို့ ကို ယူ ၍ အသက်ကြီး သူ ခုနစ်ကျိပ် တို့အပေါ် မှာ တင် တော်မူသဖြင့် ၊ ထိုဝိညာဉ် သည် သူ တို့အပေါ် မှာ ကျိန်းဝပ် သောအခါ ၊ သူတို့သည် ပရောဖက်ပြု ၍ မပြတ်မစဲ ဟောကြ၏။
26 But two men were still in the tent-circle one of them named Eldad and the other Medad: and the spirit came to rest on them; they were among those who had been sent for, but they had not gone out to the Tent: and the prophet's power came on them in the tent-circle.
၂၆ထိုလူ စု၌ ပါသောသူ ဧလဒဒ် နှင့် မေဒဒ် တို့သည် စာရင်း ဝင်သော်လည်း ၊ တဲ တော်သို့ မ သွား ဘဲ တပ် ထဲမှာ နေရစ် စဉ်တွင်သူ တို့အပေါ် မှာ ထိုဝိညာဉ် ကျိန်းဝပ် သဖြင့် သူတို့သည်လည်း ပရောဖက်ပြု ၍ တပ် ထဲမှာ ဟောကြ၏။
27 And a young man went running to Moses and said, Eldad and Medad are acting as prophets in the tent-circle.
၂၇လုလင် တယောက်သည်လည်း မောရှေ ထံသို့ ပြေး ၍ ၊ ဧလဒဒ် နှင့် မေဒဒ် တို့သည် တပ် ထဲမှာ ပရောဖက်ပြု ၍ဟောပါ၏ဟု လျှောက် လျှင် ၊
28 Then Joshua, the son of Nun, who had been Moses' servant from the time when he was a child, said, My lord Moses, let them be stopped.
၂၈မောရှေ ၏ လက်ထောက် ဖြစ်သော လုလင်နုန် သား ယောရှု က၊ သခင် မောရှေ ၊ သူ တို့ကို ဆီးတား တော်မူပါဟုဆို သော်၊
29 And Moses said to him, Are you moved by envy on my account? If only all the Lord's people were prophets, and the Lord might put his spirit on them!
၂၉မောရှေ က၊ သင် သည် ငါ့ အတွက် ငြူစူ သောစိတ် ရှိသလော။ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ လူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် ပရောဖက် ဖြစ် ကြပါစေသော။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ဝိညာဉ် တော်ကို သူ တို့အပေါ် မှာ တင် တော်မူပါစေသောဟု ဆို ပြီးမှ ၊
30 Then Moses, with the responsible men of Israel, went back to the tent-circle.
၃၀ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားအသက်ကြီး သူတို့နှင့်အတူ တပ် ထဲသို့ ပြန် သွားလေ၏။
31 Then the Lord sent a wind, driving little birds from the sea, so that they came down on the tents, and all round the tent-circle, about a day's journey on this side and on that, in masses about two cubits high over the face of the earth.
၃၁ထိုအခါ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် လေ ကိုစေလွှတ် ၍ ၊ ငုံး များကို ပင်လယ် မှ ဆောင် ခဲ့သဖြင့် ၊ တပ် ပတ်လည်တရက် ခရီး စီတိုင်တိုင်ကွာသော အရပ်တို့၌၊ မြေ ပေါ်မှာ ဒုနှစ်တောင် ခန့် မျှ ဆင်း စေတော်မူ၏။
32 And all that day and all night and the day after, the people were taking up the birds; the smallest amount which anyone got was ten homers: and they put them out all round the tents.
၃၂လူ များတို့သည် တနေ့လုံး ၊ တညဉ့်လုံး ၊ နက်ဖြန် လည်း တနေ့လုံး ထ ၍ ငုံး များကို စုသိမ်း ကြ၏။ နည်းနည်း သိမ်းသောသူသည် ဆယ် ဟောမဲ ကို သိမ်း ရ၏။ တပ် ပတ်လည် အရပ်ရပ်၌ ဖြန့် ထားကြ၏။
33 But while the meat was still between their teeth, before it was tasted, the wrath of the Lord was moved against the people and he sent a great outburst of disease on them.
၃၃သို့ရာတွင်ငုံးသား ကို ကိုက် ၍ မ ဝါး မှီ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သူတို့ကို အမျက် တော်ထွက်၍ အလွန် ပြင်း သော ဘေး နှင့်ဒဏ်ခတ် တော်မူ၏။
34 So that place was named Kibroth-hattaavah; because there they put in the earth the bodies of the people who had given way to their desires.
၃၄တောင့်တ သောသူ တို့ကို သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ရာထို အရပ် ကို ကိဗြုတ်ဟတ္တဝါ ဟူသောအမည်ဖြင့် မှည့် လေ၏။
35 From Kibroth-hattaavah the people went on to Hazeroth; and there they put up their tents.
၃၅လူ များတို့သည် ကိဗြုတ်ဟတ္တဝါ အရပ်မှ ထွက် ပြီးလျှင်၊ ဟာဇရုတ် အရပ်သို့ ရောက်၍နေ ကြ၏။
