1 And the Lord said to Moses in the waste land of Sinai, in the Tent of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they came out of the land of Egypt,
१इस्राएल लोक मिसर देशातून निघाल्यावर दुसऱ्या वर्षाच्या दुसऱ्या महिन्याच्या पहिल्या दिवशी सीनाय रानातील दर्शनमंडपामध्ये परमेश्वर मोशेशी बोलला; परमेश्वर म्हणाला,
2 Take the full number of the children of Israel, by their families, and by their fathers' houses, every male by name;
२सर्व इस्राएली लोकांच्या मंडळीची शिरगणती कर; प्रत्येक पुरुषाचे नांव, त्याचे कूळ आणि त्याच्या वाडवडिलांचे घराणे ह्याच्यासह त्यांच्या नावांची यादी कर.
3 All those of twenty years old and over, who are able to go to war in Israel, are to be numbered by you and Aaron.
३वीस वर्षाचे किंवा त्याहून अधिक वयाचे जितके पुरुष सैन्यात जाण्यायोगे इस्राएलात असतील त्या सर्वाची त्यांच्या सैन्याप्रमाणे तू आणि अहरोन मिळून गणती करा.
4 And to give you help, take one man from every tribe, the head of his father's house.
४प्रत्येक वंशातला एक पुरुष जो आपल्या वडिलांच्या घराण्याचा प्रमुख असेल तो तुम्हास मदत करील.
5 These are the names of those who are to be your helpers: from Reuben, Elizur, the son of Shedeur;
५तुमच्याबरोबर राहून तुम्हास मदत करणाऱ्यांची नावे हीः रऊबेन वंशातला, शदेयुराचा मुलगा अलीसूर;
6 From Simeon, Shelumiel, the son of Zurishaddai;
६शिमोन वंशातला सुरीशाद्दैचा मुलगा शलूमीयेल.
7 From Judah, Nahshon, the son of Amminadab;
७यहूदा वंशातला अम्मीनादाबाचा मुलगा नहशोन;
8 From Issachar, Nethanel, the son of Zuar;
८इस्साखार वंशातला सुवाराचा मुलगा नथनेल;
9 From Zebulun, Eliab, the son of Helon;
९जबुलून वंशातला हेलोनाचा मुलगा अलीयाब.
10 Of the children of Joseph: from Ephraim, Elishama, the son of Ammihud; from Manasseh, Gamaliel, the son of Pedahzur,
१०योसेफ पुत्राच्या वंशात म्हणजे एफ्राइम वंशातला अम्मीहूदाचा मुलगा अलीशामा, आणि मनश्शे वंशातला पदाहसुराचा मुलगा गमलीयेल.
11 From Benjamin, Abidan, the son of Gideoni;
११बन्यामीन वंशातला गिदोनीचा मुलगा अबीदान.
12 From Dan, Ahiezer, the son of Ammi-shaddai;
१२दान वंशातला अम्मीशाद्दैचा मुलगा अहीएजर;
13 From Asher, Pagiel, the son of Ochran;
१३आशेर वंशातला आक्रानाचा मुलगा पागीयेल;
14 From Gad, Eliasaph, the son of Reuel;
१४गाद वंशातला दगुवेलाचा मुलगा एल्यासाप;
15 From Naphtali, Ahira, the son of Enan.
१५नफताली वंशातला एनानाचा मुलगा अहीरा.
16 These are the men named out of all the people, chiefs of their fathers' houses, heads of the tribes of Israel.
१६हे लोकांतून निवडलेले माणसे होती, त्यांच्या पूर्वजांच्या वंशाचे अधिपती होते. ते इस्राएलाच्या कुळाचे प्रमुख होते.
17 And Moses and Aaron took these men, marked out by name;
१७ज्यांच्या नावाची नोंद होती त्या मनुष्यांना मोशे व अहरोन ह्यानी आपल्याबरोबर घेतले;
18 And they got together all the people on the first day of the second month; and everyone made clear his family and his father's house, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and over.
१८आणि त्यांनी दुसऱ्या महिन्याच्या पहिल्या दिवशी सर्व मंडळीस एकत्र जमविले; मग इस्राएलाच्या कुळांप्रमाणे व त्यांच्या वडिलांच्या घराण्यांप्रमाणे त्यांची नोंद करण्यात आली. वीस किंवा त्यापेक्षा जास्त वय असलेल्यांची यादी करण्यात आली.
19 As the Lord had given orders to Moses, so they were numbered by him in the waste place of Sinai.
१९परमेश्वराने मोशेला आज्ञा दिली होती अगदी त्याप्रमाणे त्याने सीनाय रानात त्यांची गणती केली.
20 The generations of the sons of Reuben, the oldest son of Israel, were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over, who was able to go to war;
२०इस्राएलाचा ज्येष्ठ मुलगा रऊबेन ह्याच्या वंशाचे लोक म्हणजे त्यांची कुळे व त्यांच्या वाडवडिलांची घराणी त्यांची गणना करण्यात आली. ह्याप्रमाणे जितके पुरुष वीस वर्षांचे व त्यापेक्षा अधिक वयाचे असून युद्धास लायक होते त्यांची यादी करण्यात आली; त्यांची यादी घराणी आणि कुळे ह्याच्याप्रमाणे करण्यात आली.
21 Forty-six thousand, five hundred of the tribe of Reuben were numbered.
२१रऊबेनाच्या वंशातले मोजलेले एकूण शेहेचाळीस हजार पाचशे भरली.
22 The generations of the sons of Simeon were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over, who was able to go to war;
२२शिमोन वंशातील लोक म्हणजे त्यांची कुळे व त्यांच्या वाडवडिलांची घराणी ह्याप्रमाणे जितके पुरुष वीस वर्षांचे व त्यापेक्षा अधिक वयाचे असून सैन्यात दाखल होण्यास लायक होते त्यांची यादी करण्यात आली;
23 Fifty-nine thousand, three hundred of the tribe of Simeon were numbered.
२३शिमोनाच्या वंशातले मोजलेले एकूण एकोणसाठ हजार तीनशे भरली.
24 The generations of the sons of Gad were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
२४गाद वंशातील लोक म्हणजे त्यांची कुळे व त्यांच्या वाडवडिलांची घराणी ह्याप्रमाणे जितके पुरुष वीस वर्षांचे व त्यापेक्षा अधिक वयाचे असून युद्धास लायक होते त्यांची यादी करण्यात आली;
25 Forty-five thousand, six hundred and fifty of the tribe of Gad were numbered.
२५गादाच्या वंशातले मोजलेले एकूण पंचेचाळीस हजार सहाशे पन्नास भरली.
26 The generations of the sons of Judah were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
२६यहूदा वंशातील लोक म्हणजे त्यांची कुळे व त्यांच्या वाडवडिलांची घराणी ह्याप्रमाणे जितके पुरुष वीस वर्षांचे व त्यापेक्षा अधिक वयाचे असून युद्धास लायक होते, त्या सर्वाची नोंद करण्यात आली;
27 Seventy-four thousand, six hundred of the tribe of Judah were numbered.
२७यहूदाच्या वंशातले मोजलेले एकूण चौऱ्याहत्तर हजार सहाशे भरली.
28 The generations of the sons of Issachar were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
२८इस्साखार वंशातील लोक म्हणजे त्यांची कुळे व त्यांच्या वाडवडिलांची घराणी ह्याप्रमाणे जितके पुरुष वीस वर्षांचे व त्याहून अधिक वयाचे असून युद्धास लायक होते त्या सर्वाची नोंद करण्यात आली;
29 Fifty-four thousand, four hundred of the tribe of Issachar were numbered.
२९इस्साखाराच्या वंशातले मोजलेले एकूण चौपन्न हजार चारशे भरली.
30 The generations of the sons of Zebulun were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
३०जबुलून वंशातील लोक म्हणजे त्यांची कुळे व त्यांच्या वाडवडिलांची घराणी ह्याप्रमाणे जितके पुरुष वीस वर्षांचे व त्याहून अधिक वयाचे असून युद्धास लायक होते त्या सर्वांची नोद करण्यात आली;
31 Fifty-seven thousand, four hundred of the tribe of Zebulun were numbered.
३१जबुलून वंशातील मोजदाद एकूण सत्तावन्न हजार चारशे भरली.
32 The generations of the sons of Joseph were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
३२योसेफ पुत्रांपैकी एफ्राइम वंशातील लोक म्हणजे त्यांची कुळे व त्यांच्या वाडवडिलांची घराणी ह्याप्रमाणे जितके पुरुष वीस वर्षांचे व त्याहून अधिक वयाचे असून युद्धास लायक होते त्या सर्वांची नोंद करण्यात आली;
33 Forty thousand, five hundred of the tribe of Ephraim were numbered.
३३एफ्राइमाच्या वंशातले मोजलेले एकूण चाळीस हजार पाचशे भरली.
34 The generations of the sons of Manasseh were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
३४मनश्शे वंशातील लोक म्हणजे त्यांची कुळे व त्यांच्या वाडवडिलांची घराणी ह्याप्रमाणे जितके पुरुष वीस वर्षांचे व त्याहून अधिक वयाचे असून युद्धास लायक होते त्या सर्वांची नोंद करण्यात आली;
35 Thirty-two thousand, two hundred of the tribe of Manasseh were numbered.
३५मनश्शेच्या वंशात मोजलेले एकूण बत्तीस हजार दोनशे भरली.
36 The generations of the sons of Benjamin were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
३६बन्यामीन वंशातील लोक म्हणजे त्यांची कुळे व त्यांच्या वाडवडिलांची घराणी ह्याप्रमाणे जितके पुरुष वीस वर्षांचे व त्याहून अधिक वयाचे असून युद्धास लायक होते त्या सर्वांची नोंद करण्यात आली;
37 Thirty-five thousand, four hundred of the tribe of Benjamin were numbered.
३७बन्यामीन वंशातील लोकांची जी मोजदाद झाली ती एकूण पस्तीस हजार चारशे भरली.
38 The generations of the sons of Dan were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years and over who was able to go to war;
३८दान वंशातील लोक म्हणजे त्यांची कुळे व त्यांच्या वाडवडिलांची घराणी ह्याप्रमाणे जितके पुरुष वीस वर्षांचे व त्याहून अधिक वयाचे युद्धास लायक होते त्या सर्वांची नोंद करण्यात आली;
39 Sixty-two thousand, seven hundred of the tribe of Dan were numbered.
३९दानाच्या वंशातले मोजलेले एकूण बासष्ट हजार सातशे भरली.
40 The generations of the sons of Asher were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
४०आशेर वंशातील लोक म्हणजे त्यांची कुळे व त्यांच्या वाडवडिलांची घराणी ह्याप्रमाणे जितके पुरुष वीस वर्षांचे व त्याहून अधिक वयाचे असून सैन्यात सेवा करण्यास लायक होते त्या सर्वांची नोंद करण्यात आली;
41 Forty-one thousand, five hundred of the tribe of Asher were numbered.
४१आशेर वंशातील लोकांची जी मोजदाद झाली ती एकूण एकेचाळीस हजार पाचशे भरली.
42 The generations of the sons of Naphtali were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
४२नफताली वंशातील लोक म्हणजे त्यांची कुळे व त्यांच्या वाडवडिलांची घराणी ह्याप्रमाणे जितके पुरुष वीस वर्षाचे व त्याहून अधिक वयाचे असून युद्धास लायक होते त्या सर्वांची नोंद करण्यात आली.
43 Fifty-three thousand, four hundred of the tribe of Naphtali were numbered.
४३नफतालीच्या वंशातील मोजलेले एकूण त्रेपन्न हजार चारशे भरली.
44 These are they who were numbered by Moses and Aaron and by the twelve chiefs of Israel, one from every tribe.
४४मोशे, अहरोन आणि इस्राएलांच्या प्रत्येक घराण्यातील एक प्रमुख असे बारा नेते, ह्यानी ही मोजदाद केली.
45 So all those who were numbered of the children of Israel, by their families, all those of twenty years old and over who were able to go to war,
४५इस्राएली वंशातले वीस वर्षांचे व त्याहून अधिक वयाचे असून युद्धास लायक असलेल्या प्रत्येक पुरुषाची त्याच्या वाडवडिलांच्या घराण्याप्रमाणे नोंद केली.
46 Were six hundred and three thousand, five hundred and fifty.
४६ती मोजदाद एकूण सहा लाख तीन हजार पाचशे पन्नास भरली.
47 But the Levites, of the tribe of their fathers, were not numbered among them.
४७इस्राएल लोकांबरोबर लेव्याची नोद त्यांच्या वडिलांच्या वंशावरून घेतली नव्हती.
48 For the Lord said to Moses,
४८परमेश्वराने मोशेला सांगितले होते की,
49 Only the tribe of Levi is not to be numbered among the children of Israel,
४९लेवी वंशाच्या दलातील लोकांची गणती करु नको किंवा इतर इस्राएल लोकांच्या गणतीत त्यांचा समावेश करु नको.
50 But to them you are to give the care of the Tent of meeting with its vessels and everything in it: they are to take up the Tent, and be responsible for everything to do with it, and put up their tents round it.
५०लेवी लोकांस सांग की साक्षपटाच्या निवासमंडपावर व त्याबरोबर त्यातील सर्व वस्तूंवर त्याचे जे आहे त्यावर त्यांना नेम. त्यांनी निवासमंडप व त्यातील सर्व वस्तू वाहून न्याव्यात. त्यांनी आपले तंबू निवासमंडपाभोवती उभारावेत आणि त्याची निगा राखावी.
51 And when the Tent of meeting goes forward, the Levites are to take it down; and when it is to be put up, they are to do it: any strange person who comes near it is to be put to death.
५१जेव्हा निवासमंडप हलवावयाचा असेल तेव्हा तो लेवी लोकांनीच उतरावा व तो उभारताना लेवी लोकांनीच तो उभा करावा; त्याची निगा राखणे हे त्यांचेच काम आहे; कोणी परका जवळ आला तर त्यास जिवे मारावे.
52 The children of Israel are to put up their tents, every man in his tent-circle round his flag.
५२इस्राएल लोकांपैकी प्रत्येकाने आपापले तंबू आपापल्या दलाप्रमाणे आपापल्या छावणीत आपापल्या कुळाच्या निशाणाजवळ द्यावेत.
53 But the tents of the Levites are to be round the Tent of meeting, so that wrath may not come on the children of Israel: the Tent of meeting is to be in the care of the Levites.
५३परंतु लेवी लोकांनी आपले तंबू पवित्र निवासमंडपाच्या सभोवती ठोकावेत; त्यांनी आज्ञापट असलेल्या पवित्र निवासमंडपाचे रक्षण करावे म्हणजे इस्राएल लोकांच्या मंडळीवर संकट येणार नाही.
54 So the children of Israel did as the Lord had given orders to Moses.
५४परमेश्वराने मोशेला आज्ञा दिल्याप्रमाणे इस्राएल लोकांनी सर्वकाही केले.
