Mark 1
1 The first words of the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
இறைவனுடைய மகன் இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றிய நற்செய்தியின் தொடக்கம்.
2 Even as it is said in the book of Isaiah the prophet, See, I send my servant before your face, who will make ready your way;
இது ஏசாயா என்ற இறைவாக்கினரின் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது: “நான் என்னுடைய தூதனை உமக்கு முன்பாக அனுப்புவேன்; அவன் உமது வழியை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துவான்”
3 The voice of one crying in the waste land, Make ready the way of the Lord, make his roads straight;
“‘கர்த்தருக்கு வழியை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துங்கள்; அவருக்காகப் பாதைகளை நேராக்குங்கள்’ என்று ஒருவனுடைய குரல் பாலைவனத்திலே சத்தமிட்டது.”
4 John came, and gave baptism in the waste land, preaching baptism as a sign of forgiveness of sin for those whose hearts were changed.
அவ்வாறே யோவான் ஸ்நானகன் பாலைவனப் பகுதியில் வந்து, திருமுழுக்கு கொடுத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தான். அவன் மக்கள் பாவங்களிலிருந்து மன்னிப்புப் பெறுவதற்கு, அவர்கள் மனந்திரும்பிப் பெறவேண்டிய திருமுழுக்கைக் குறித்துப் பிரசங்கித்தான்.
5 And there went out to him all the people of Judaea, and all those of Jerusalem, and they were given baptism by him in the river Jordan, saying that they were sinners.
யூதேயா மாகாணத்தின் எல்லா நாட்டுப்புறங்களிலும் எருசலேம் நகரத்திலுமிருந்து எல்லாரும் அவனிடம் சென்றார்கள். அங்கே அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய பாவங்களை அறிக்கைசெய்து, யோர்தான் ஆற்றிலே அவனால் திருமுழுக்குப் பெற்றார்கள்.
6 And John was clothed in camel's hair, with a leather band about him; and his food was locusts and honey.
யோவானின் உடைகள் ஒட்டக முடியினால் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தன. அவன் இடுப்பைச் சுற்றி தோல் பட்டியையும் கட்டியிருந்தான். அவனது உணவு வெட்டுக்கிளியும், காட்டுத்தேனுமாய் இருந்தது.
7 And he said to them all, There is one coming after me who is greater than I, whose shoes I am not good enough to undo.
அவன் அறிவித்த செய்தி என்னவென்றால், “என்னைப் பார்க்கிலும் அதிக வல்லமையுள்ளவர் எனக்குப்பின் வருகிறார். நானோ அவருடைய பாதரட்சைகளின் வாரையும் குனிந்து அவிழ்ப்பதற்குத் தகுதியற்றவன்.
8 I have given you baptism with water, but he will give you baptism with the Holy Spirit.
நான் உங்களுக்குத் தண்ணீரினால் திருமுழுக்கு கொடுக்கிறேன்; ஆனால் அவர் உங்களுக்குப் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரால் திருமுழுக்கு கொடுப்பார்.”
9 And it came about in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was given baptism by John in the Jordan.
அக்காலத்தில் இயேசு கலிலேயா மாகாணத்தின் நாசரேத் பட்டணத்திலிருந்து வந்து, யோர்தான் ஆற்றிலே யோவானால் திருமுழுக்கு பெற்றார்.
10 And straight away, coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens broken open and the Spirit coming down on him as a dove:
இயேசு தண்ணீரிலிருந்து கரையேறிய உடனே, வானம் திறக்கப்பட்டதையும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் ஒரு புறாவைப்போல் தம்மேல் இறங்குகிறதையும் அவர் கண்டார்.
11 And a voice came out of heaven, You are my dearly loved Son, with whom I am well pleased.
அப்பொழுது வானத்திலிருந்து ஒரு குரல்: “நீர் என்னுடைய அன்பு மகன்; நான் உம்மில் மிகவும் மகிழ்ச்சியாய் இருக்கிறேன்” என்று ஒலித்தது.
12 And straight away the Spirit sent him out into the waste land.
உடனே ஆவியானவர் இயேசுவைப் பாலைவனத்துக்கு அனுப்பினார்.
13 And he was in the waste land for forty days, being tested by Satan; and he was with the beasts; and the angels took care of him.
இயேசு பாலைவனத்தில் நாற்பது நாட்கள் இருந்து சாத்தானால் சோதிக்கப்பட்டார். அங்கு அவர் காட்டு மிருகங்களுடன் இருந்தார்; இறைவனுடைய தூதர்கள் அவருக்குப் பணிவிடை செய்தார்கள்.
14 Now after John had been put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the good news of God,
யோவான் சிறையில் அடைக்கப்பட்ட பின்பு, இயேசு இறைவனுடைய நற்செய்தியை அறிவித்துக்கொண்டு கலிலேயாவுக்கு வந்து,
15 And saying, The time has come, and the kingdom of God is near: let your hearts be turned from sin and have faith in the good news.
“காலம் நிறைவேறிவிட்டது, இறைவனுடைய அரசு சமீபித்திருக்கிறது. மனந்திரும்பி நற்செய்தியை விசுவாசியுங்கள்” என்றார்.
16 And going by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon, and Andrew, the brother of Simon, putting a net into the sea: for they were fishermen.
இயேசு கலிலேயா கடற்கரையில் நடந்து போகும்போது சீமோனையும் அவனது சகோதரன் அந்திரேயாவையும் கண்டார்; மீனவர்களான அவர்கள் கடலில் வலை வீசிக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.
17 And Jesus said to them, Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.
இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “வாருங்கள், என்னைப் பின்பற்றுங்கள்; நான் உங்களை இறைவனுடைய வழியில் மனிதரை நடத்துகிறவர்களாக மாற்றுவேன்” என்றார்.
18 And they went straight from their nets, and came after him.
உடனே அவர்கள் தங்கள் வலைகளை விட்டுவிட்டு, இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்றினார்கள்.
19 And going on a little farther, he saw James, the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who were in their boat stitching up their nets.
இயேசு சற்று தூரம் போனபின்பு, செபெதேயுவின் மகன் யாக்கோபையும், அவனுடைய சகோதரன் யோவானையும் கண்டார்; அவர்கள் ஒரு படகிலிருந்து தங்கள் வலைகளை ஆயத்தப்படுத்திக் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.
20 And he said, Come after me: and they went away from their father Zebedee, who was in the boat with the servants, and came after him.
உடனே இயேசு அவர்களையும் அழைத்தார்; அவர்கள் தங்கள் தகப்பனாகிய செபெதேயுவை படகிலே கூலியாட்களோடு விட்டுவிட்டு, இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்றினார்கள்.
21 And they came to Capernaum; and on the Sabbath he went into the Synagogue and gave teaching.
பின்பு அவர்கள் கப்பர்நகூம் நகரத்திற்குச் சென்றார்கள்; ஓய்வுநாளில் இயேசு யூத ஜெப ஆலயத்திற்குச் சென்று, அங்கு போதித்தார்.
22 And they were full of wonder at his teaching, because he gave it as one having authority, and not like the scribes.
அங்கிருந்த மக்கள் அவருடைய போதனையைக் கேட்டு வியப்படைந்தார்கள். ஏனெனில், அவர் மோசேயின் சட்ட ஆசிரியர்களைப்போல் போதிக்காமல், அதிகாரமுள்ளவராய் அவர்களுக்கு போதித்தார்.
23 And there was in their Synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he gave a cry,
அப்பொழுது, அந்த ஜெப ஆலயத்தில் தீய ஆவி பிடித்தவனாயிருந்த ஒருவன் சத்தமிட்டு,
24 Saying, What have we to do with you, Jesus of Nazareth? have you come to put an end to us? I see well who you are, the Holy One of God.
“நசரேயனாகிய இயேசுவே, எங்களிடம் உமக்கு என்ன? எங்களை அழிப்பதற்காகவா வந்தீர்? நீர் யார் என்பது எனக்குத் தெரியும், நீர் இறைவனுடைய பரிசுத்தர்!” என்றான்.
25 And Jesus said to him sharply, Be quiet, and come out of him.
“அமைதியாயிரு! இவனைவிட்டு வெளியே போ” என்று இயேசு அவனை அதட்டினார்.
26 And the unclean spirit, shaking him violently, and crying with a loud voice, came out of him.
அப்பொழுது தீய ஆவி, அந்த மனிதனை வலிப்புடன் வீழ்த்தி, பெருங்கூச்சலிட்டுக் கொண்டு, அவனைவிட்டு வெளியேறியது.
27 And they were all greatly surprised, so that they put questions to one another, saying, What is this? a new teaching! with authority he gives orders even to the unclean spirits, and they do what he says.
எல்லோரும் வியப்படைந்து ஒருவரோடொருவர், “இது என்ன? இது அதிகாரமுடைய ஒரு புதிய போதனையாக இருக்கிறதே! இயேசு தீய ஆவிகளுக்குக்கூட கட்டளையிடுகிறார்; அவைகளும் அவருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகின்றனவே” என்று பேசிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
28 And news of him went out quickly everywhere into all parts of Galilee round about.
இயேசுவைப்பற்றிய இச்செய்தி கலிலேயா பகுதிகள் முழுவதும் விரைவாய் பரவியது.
29 And when they came out of the Synagogue, they went into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
ஜெப ஆலயத்தைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்ட உடனே அவர்கள், யாக்கோபு மற்றும் யோவானுடன் சீமோன், அந்திரேயா ஆகியோரின் வீட்டிற்குள் சென்றார்கள்.
30 Now Simon's wife's mother was ill, with a burning heat; and they gave him word of her:
அங்கே சீமோனுடைய மாமியார் காய்ச்சலுடன் படுக்கையில் கிடந்தாள். உடனே அவர்கள் அவளைப்பற்றி இயேசுவுக்குச் சொன்னார்கள்.
31 And he came and took her by the hand, lifting her up; and she became well, and took care of their needs.
எனவே இயேசு அவளிடத்தில் சென்று, அவளுடைய கையைப் பிடித்து, அவள் எழுந்துகொள்ள உதவினார். உடனே காய்ச்சல் அவளைவிட்டுப் போயிற்று; அவள் அவர்களுக்குப் பணிவிடை செய்யத் தொடங்கினாள்.
32 And in the evening, at sundown, they took to him all who were diseased, and those who had evil spirits.
அன்று மாலை கதிரவன் மறைந்தபின்பு, வியாதிப்பட்டவர்கள், பிசாசு பிடித்தவர்கள் எல்லோரையும் மக்கள் இயேசுவிடம் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.
33 And all the town had come together at the door.
பட்டணத்திலுள்ள அனைவரும் வீட்டு வாசலுக்கு முன்பாகக் கூடியிருந்தார்கள்.
34 And a number, who were ill with different diseases, he made well, and sent out evil spirits; but he did not let the evil spirits say anything, because they had knowledge of him.
பலவித வியாதி உடையவர்களாயிருந்த அநேகரை, இயேசு குணமாக்கி, அநேக பிசாசுகளையும் துரத்தினார். அந்தப் பிசாசுகள் தம்மை யாரென்று அறிந்திருந்தபடியால், அவைகள் பேசுகிறதற்கு இயேசு அனுமதிக்கவில்லை.
35 And in the morning, a long time before daylight, he got up and went out to a quiet place, and there he gave himself up to prayer.
விடியுமுன் இருட்டாய் இருக்கையிலேயே இயேசு எழுந்து புறப்பட்டு ஒரு தனிமையான இடத்திற்குப் போய், அங்கே மன்றாடினார்.
36 And Simon and those who were with him came after him.
சீமோனும் அவனுடன் இருந்தவர்களும் அவரைத் தேடிச்சென்றார்கள்.
37 And when they came up with him, they said to him, Everyone is looking for you.
அவர்கள் இயேசுவைக் கண்டபோது, “எல்லோரும் உம்மைத் தேடிக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறார்களே” என்றார்கள்.
38 And he said to them, Let us go to other parts into the nearest towns, so that I may give teaching there, because for this purpose I came.
இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “நாம் வேறுசில கிராமங்களுக்குப் போவோம்; அங்கேயும் நான் பிரசங்கிக்க வேண்டும். அதற்காகவே நான் வந்திருக்கிறேன்” என்றார்.
39 And he went into their Synagogues in every part of Galilee, preaching and driving out evil spirits.
எனவே, இயேசு கலிலேயா முழுவதிலும் பயணம் செய்து, ஜெப ஆலயங்களில் நற்செய்தியை அறிவித்து, பிசாசுகளையும் துரத்தினார்.
40 And a leper came to him and, going down on his knees before him, made a request, saying, If it is your pleasure, you have the power to make me clean.
குஷ்டவியாதி உள்ளவன் இயேசுவினிடத்தில் வந்து முழங்காற்படியிட்டு, நீர் விரும்பினால், “என்னைச் சுத்தமாக்க உம்மால் முடியும்” என்று கெஞ்சி வேண்டிக்கொண்டான்.
41 And being moved with pity, he put out his hand, and touching him said to him, It is my pleasure; be made clean.
இயேசு மனதுருகினவராய் தன் கையை நீட்டி அவனைத் தொட்டு, “எனக்கு சித்தமுண்டு, நீ சுத்தமடைவாயாக!” என்றார்.
42 And straight away the disease went from him, and he was made clean.
உடனே குஷ்டவியாதி அவனைவிட்டு நீங்கியது, அவன் குணமடைந்தான்.
43 And he sent him away, saying to him very sharply,
இயேசு அவனுக்கு ஒரு கண்டிப்பான எச்சரிப்பைக் கொடுத்து:
44 See that you say nothing to any man: but go and let the priest see you, and make yourself clean by an offering of the things ordered by Moses, for a witness to them.
“நீ இதை ஒருவருக்கும் சொல்லாதபடி பார்த்துக்கொள். ஆனால், நீ போய் ஆசாரியனுக்கு உன்னைக் காண்பித்து, உன்னுடைய சுத்திகரிப்புக்காக மோசே கட்டளையிட்ட பலிகளைச் செலுத்து. அது அவர்களுக்கு நீ சுகமடைந்ததற்கான ஒரு சாட்சியாய் இருக்கும்” என்று சொல்லி அவனை உடனே அனுப்பிவிட்டார்.
45 But he went out, and made it public, giving an account of it everywhere, so that Jesus was no longer able to go openly into a town, but was outside in the waste land; and they came to him from every part.
ஆனால் அவன் புறப்பட்டுப்போய் தாராளமாய் பேசத்தொடங்கி, தனக்கு நடந்த செய்தியை எங்கும் பரப்பினான். இதன் காரணமாக, இயேசுவினால் ஒரு பட்டணத்திற்குள்ளும் வெளிப்படையாக செல்லமுடியாமல், வெளியே தனிமையான இடங்களிலேயே தங்கினார். ஆனால் எல்லா இடங்களிலும் இருந்து மக்கள் அவரிடத்திற்கு வந்தார்கள்.
