Joshua 19

1 And the second heritage came out for the tribe of Simeon by their families; and their heritage was in the middle of the heritage of the children of Judah.

രണ്ടാമത്തെ നറുക്ക് കുലംകുലമായി ശിമെയോൻ ഗോത്രത്തിനുവീണു. അവരുടെ ഓഹരി യെഹൂദയുടെ അവകാശത്തിന് ഇടയിലായിരുന്നു.

2 And they had for their heritage Beer-sheba and Shema and Moladah

അവരുടെ ഭൂപ്രദേശം: ബേർ-ശേബാ അഥവാ, ശേബാ, മോലാദാ,

3 And Hazar-shual and Balah and Ezem

ഹസർ-ശൂവാൽ, ബാലാ, ഏസെം,

4 And Eltolad and Bethul and Hormah

എൽതോലദ്, ബേഥൂൽ, ഹോർമാ,

5 And Ziklag and Beth-marcaboth and Hazar-susah

സിക്ലാഗ്, ബേത്-മർക്കാബോത്ത്, ഹസർ-സൂസ,

6 And Beth-lebaoth and Sharuhen; thirteen towns with their unwalled places;

ബേത്-ലെബായോത്ത്, ശാരൂഹെൻ—ഇങ്ങനെ പതിമ്മൂന്നു പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവയുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും;

7 Ain, Rimmon, and Ether and Ashan; four towns with their unwalled places;

ആയിൻ, രിമ്മോൻ, ഏഥെർ, ആശാൻ—ഇങ്ങനെ നാലു പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവയുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും;

8 And all the unwalled places round about these towns as far as Baalath-beer-ramah to the south. This is the heritage of the tribe of Simeon by their families.

തെക്കേദേശത്തെ രാമ എന്ന ബാലത്ത്-ബേർവരെ ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളുടെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള എല്ലാ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. ഇതായിരുന്നു ശിമെയോന്യഗോത്രത്തിനു കുലംകുലമായി കിട്ടിയ ഓഹരി.

9 The heritage of Simeon was taken out of Judah's stretch of land, for Judah's part was more than they had need of, so the heritage of the children of Simeon was inside their heritage.

യെഹൂദയുടെ ഭാഗം അവർക്കു വേണ്ടതിൽ കൂടുതൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ശിമെയോന്യരുടെ ഓഹരി യെഹൂദയുടെ ഓഹരിയിൽനിന്ന് എടുത്തു. അങ്ങനെ ശിമെയോന്യർക്ക് അവരുടെ ഓഹരി യെഹൂദയുടെ അവകാശഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു ലഭിച്ചു.

10 And the third heritage came out for Zebulun by their families; the limit of their heritage was as far as Sarid;

മൂന്നാമത്തെ നറുക്ക് കുലംകുലമായി സെബൂലൂൻ ഗോത്രത്തിനുവീണു. അവരുടെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ അതിര് സാരീദുവരെ ചെന്നു.

11 And their limit goes up to the west to Maralah, stretching to Dabbesheth, and to the stream in front of Jokneam;

ആ അതിര് പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ടുചെന്ന്, മരലയിൽ കയറി, ദബ്ബേശേത്തിനെ സ്പർശിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് യൊക്നെയാമിനു സമീപമുള്ള മലയിടുക്കുവരെ നീണ്ടുകിടന്നു.

12 Then turning east from Sarid to the limit of Chisloth-tabor, it goes out to Daberath, and up to Japhia;

സാരീദിൽനിന്ന് അതു കിഴക്കോട്ടു സൂര്യോദയത്തിനുനേരേ കിസ്ളോത്ത്-താബോരിന്റെ അതിരിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു ദാബെരത്തിൽ ചെന്നു യാഫിയയിൽ എത്തുന്നു.

13 And from there it goes on east to Gath-hepher, to Eth-kazin; ending at Rimmon which goes as far as Neah;

കിഴക്കോട്ടു ചെന്ന് ഗത്ത്-ഹേഫെരിലും ഏത്ത്-കാസീനിലും പ്രവേശിച്ച് രിമ്മോനിൽക്കൂടി പുറത്തുവന്ന്, നേയായിലേക്കു തിരിയുന്നു.

14 And the line goes round it on the north to Hannathon, ending at the valley of Iphtah-el;

അവിടെ ആ അതിര് വടക്കോട്ടു ചുറ്റി ഹന്നാഥോനിൽ കടന്നു യിഫ്താഹ്-ഏൽ താഴ്വരയിൽ അവസാനിക്കുന്നു.

15 And Kattath and Nahalal and Shimron and Idalah and Beth-lehem; twelve towns with their unwalled places.

കത്താത്ത്, നഹലാൽ, ശിമ്രോൻ, യിദല, ബേത്ലഹേം—ഇങ്ങനെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവയുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും ഇതിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

16 This is the heritage of the children of Zebulun by their families, these towns with their unwalled places.

സെബൂലൂൻ ഗോത്രത്തിനു കുലംകുലമായി ലഭിച്ച അവകാശമായിരുന്നു ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവയുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും.

17 For Issachar the fourth heritage came out, for the children of Issachar by their families;

നാലാമത്തെ നറുക്ക് കുലംകുലമായി യിസ്സാഖാർ ഗോത്രത്തിനുവീണു.

18 And their limit was to Jezreel and Chesulloth and Shunem

യെസ്രീൽ, കെസുല്ലോത്ത്, ശൂനേം,

19 And Hapharaim and Shion and Anaharath

ഹഫാരയീം, ശീയോൻ, അനാഹരാത്ത്,

20 And Rabbith and Kishion and Ebez

രബ്ബീത്ത്, കിശ്യോൻ, ഏബെസ്;

21 And Remeth and En-gannim and En-haddah and Beth-pazzez;

രേമെത്ത്, ഏൻ-ഗന്നീം, എൻ-ഹദ്ദാ, ബേത്-പസ്സേസ് എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നതായിരുന്നു അവരുടെ ദേശം.

22 And their limit goes as far as Tabor and Shahazimah and Beth-shemesh, ending at Jordan; sixteen towns with their unwalled places.

അവരുടെ അതിര് താബോർ, ശഹസൂമ, ബേത്-ശേമെശ് എന്നിവയിൽ എത്തി യോർദാൻനദിയിൽ അവസാനിക്കുന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെ പതിനാറുപട്ടണങ്ങളും അവയുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും അവർക്കുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

23 This is the heritage of the tribe of the children of Issachar by their families, these towns with their unwalled places.

ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവയുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും ആയിരുന്നു യിസ്സാഖാർ ഗോത്രത്തിനു കുലംകുലമായി ലഭിച്ച ഓഹരി.

24 And the fifth heritage came out for the tribe of Asher by their families.

അഞ്ചാമത്തെ നറുക്ക് കുലംകുലമായി ആശേർ ഗോത്രത്തിനുവീണു.

25 And their limit was Helkath and Hali and Beten and Achshaph

അവരുടെ ദേശം: ഹെൽക്കത്ത്, ഹലി, ബേതെൻ, അക്ശാഫ്,

26 And Alammelech and Amad and Mishal, stretching to Carmel on the west and Shihor-libnath;

അലാമ്മേലേക്, അമാദ്, മിശാൽ എന്നിവയായിരുന്നു. പടിഞ്ഞാറുവശത്ത് അതിന്റെ അതിര് കർമേൽ, സീഹോർ-ലിബ്നാത്ത് എന്നിവയെ സ്പർശിച്ചിരുന്നു.

27 Turning to the east to Beth-dagon and stretching to Zebulun and the valley of Iphtah-el as far as Beth-emek and Neiel to the north; on the left it goes as far as Cabul

അവിടെനിന്ന് കിഴക്കോട്ടു ബേത്-ദാഗോനിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞ് സെബൂലൂൻ, യിഫ്താഹ്-ഏൽ താഴ്വര എന്നിവയെ സ്പർശിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്, വടക്ക് ബേത്-ഏമെക്ക്, നെയീയേൽ എന്നിവയിൽ കടന്ന്, ഇടത്ത് കാബൂലിൽക്കൂടി

28 And Ebron and Rehob and Hammon and Kanah, to great Zidon;

അബ്ദോൻ, രെഹോബ്, ഹമ്മോൻ, കാനാ എന്നിവയിലും മഹാനഗരമായ സീദോനിലും ചെല്ലുന്നു.

29 And the limit goes round to Ramah and the walled town of Tyre and Hosah, ending at the sea by Heleb and Achzib;

ആ അതിര് പിന്നീട് രാമായിലേക്കും കോട്ടയാൽ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ട സോർപട്ടണത്തിലേക്കും തിരിഞ്ഞ്, ഹോസയിലേക്കുചെന്ന് അക്സീബ്, ഉമ്മ, അഫേക്ക്, രെഹോബ്, എന്നീ പട്ടണങ്ങളുടെ മേഖലയിൽ, മെഡിറ്ററേനിയൻ സമുദ്രത്തിൽ അവസാനിക്കുന്നു. ഇരുപത്തിരണ്ടു പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവയുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും അവർക്കുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

30 And Ummah and Aphek and Rehob; twenty-two towns with their unwalled places.

31 This is the heritage of the tribe of the children of Asher by their families, these towns with their unwalled places.

ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവയുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും ആയിരുന്നു കുലംകുലമായി ആശേർ ഗോത്രത്തിനു ലഭിച്ച ഓഹരി.

32 For the children of Naphtali the sixth heritage came out, for the children of Naphtali by their families;

ആറാമത്തെ നറുക്ക് കുലംകുലമായി നഫ്താലി ഗോത്രത്തിനുവീണു.

33 And their limit was from Heleph, from the oak-tree in Zaanannim, and Adami-hannekeb and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum, ending at Jordan;

അവരുടെ അതിര് ഹേലെഫും സാനന്നീമിലെ കരുവേലകവും തുടങ്ങി, അദാമീ-നെക്കേബ്, യബ്നേൽ, ലക്കൂം എന്നിവ കടന്ന്, യോർദാൻനദിയിൽ അവസാനിക്കുന്നു.

34 And turning west to Aznoth-tabor, the limit goes out from there to Hukkok, stretching to Zebulun on the south, and Asher on the west, and Judah at Jordan on the east.

പിന്നെ ആ അതിര് പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ട് അസ്നോത്ത്-താബോരിൽക്കൂടി ചെന്ന്, അവിടെനിന്നും സെബൂലൂനെ തെക്കുവശത്തും ആശേരിനെ പടിഞ്ഞാറും യോർദാനെ കിഴക്കും സ്പർശിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ഹുക്കോക്കിൽ അവസാനിക്കുന്നു.

35 And the walled towns are Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth

സിദ്ദിം, സേർ, ഹമാത്ത്, രക്കത്ത്, കിന്നെരെത്ത്;

36 And Adamah and Ramah and Hazor

അദമ, രാമാ, ഹാസോർ,

37 And Kedesh and Edrei and En-Hazor

കേദേശ്, എദ്രെയി, എൻ-ഹാസോർ,

38 And Iron and Migdal-el, Horem and Beth-anath and Beth-shemesh; nineteen towns with their unwalled places.

യിരോൻ, മിഗ്ദൽ-ഏൽ, ഹോരേം, ബേത്-അനാത്ത്, ബേത്-ശേമെശ് എന്നിങ്ങനെ കോട്ടയാൽ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ട ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളും ആയിരുന്നു. ആകെ പത്തൊൻപതു പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവയുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

39 This is the heritage of the tribe of the children of Naphtali by their families, these towns with their unwalled places.

ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവയുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളുമായിരുന്നു കുലംകുലമായി നഫ്താലി ഗോത്രത്തിനു ലഭിച്ച ഓഹരി.

40 For the tribe of Dan by their families the seventh heritage came out;

ഏഴാമത്തെ നറുക്ക് കുലംകുലമായി ദാൻഗോത്രത്തിന്നുവീണു.

41 And the limit of their heritage was Zorah and Eshtaol and Ir-shemesh

അവരുടെ അവകാശഭൂമി ഉൾപ്പെട്ട പ്രദേശം ഇതായിരുന്നു: സോരാ, എസ്തായോൽ, ഈർ-ശേമെശ്,

42 And Shaalabbin and Aijalon and Ithlah

ശാലബ്ബീൻ, അയ്യാലോൻ, യിത്ല,

43 And Elon and Timnah and Ekron

ഏലോൻ, തിമ്ന, എക്രോൻ,

44 And Eltekeh and Gibbethon and Baalath

എൽ-തെക്കേ, ഗിബ്ബെഥോൻ, ബാലാത്ത്,

45 And Jehud and Bene-berak and Gath-rimmon;

യേഹൂദ്, ബെനെ-ബെരാക്, ഗത്ത്-രിമ്മോൻ,

46 And on the west was ... opposite Joppa.

മേ-യർക്കോൻ, രക്കോൻ എന്നിവയും യോപ്പയ്ക്കെതിരേയുള്ള ദേശവും ആയിരുന്നു.

47 (But the limit of the children of Dan was not wide enough for them; so the children of Dan went up and made war on Leshem and took it, putting it to the sword without mercy, and they took it for their heritage and made a place for themselves there, giving it the name of Leshem-dan, after the name of their father, Dan.)

(എന്നാൽ ദാന്യർക്ക് അവരുടെ പ്രദേശം കൈവശമാക്കുന്നതിൽ പ്രയാസം നേരിട്ടു, അപ്പോൾ അവർ പോയി ലേശേമിനെ ആക്രമിച്ചു; അതിനെ പിടിച്ച് അവിടെയുള്ളതെല്ലാം വാളിനിരയാക്കി, അവിടെ താമസമുറപ്പിച്ചു. അവിടെ താമസമുറപ്പിച്ച അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പനായ ദാനിന്റെ പേരിൻപ്രകാരം അതിന് ദാൻ എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.)

48 This is the heritage of the tribe of the children of Dan by their families, these towns with their unwalled places.

ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവയുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും ആയിരുന്നു ദാൻഗോത്രത്തിനു കുലംകുലമായി കിട്ടിയ ഓഹരി.

49 So the distribution of the land and its limits was complete; and the children of Israel gave Joshua, the son of Nun, a heritage among them;

ദേശം ഭാഗംവെച്ചു തീർന്നശേഷം ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയ്ക്കും യഹോവയുടെ കൽപ്പനപ്രകാരം തങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു ഓഹരികൊടുത്തു.

50 By the orders of the Lord they gave him the town for which he made request, Timnath-serah in the hill-country of Ephraim: there, after building the town, he made his living-place.

അദ്ദേഹം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട പട്ടണമായ എഫ്രയീംമലനാട്ടിലെ തിമ്നത്ത്-സേരഹ് എന്ന പട്ടണംതന്നെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിനു കൊടുത്തു. അവൻ ആ പട്ടണം പുതുക്കിപ്പണിത് അവിടെ താമസിച്ചു.

51 These are the heritages which Eleazar the priest and Joshua, the son of Nun, and the heads of families of the tribes of the children of Israel gave out at Shiloh, by the decision of the Lord, at the door of the Tent of meeting. So the distribution of the land was complete.

പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാർ, നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവ, ഇസ്രായേലിലെ പ്രമുഖരായ ഗോത്രപിതാക്കന്മാർ എന്നിവർ ശീലോവിൽ യഹോവയുടെ സമാഗമകൂടാരത്തിന്റെ പ്രവേശനകവാടത്തിൽ നറുക്കിട്ട് അവകാശഭൂമിയായി വിഭജിച്ചുകൊടുത്ത പ്രദേശങ്ങൾ ഇവയായിരുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ അവർ ദേശവിഭജനം അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചു.
