Joshua 19

1 And the second heritage came out for the tribe of Simeon by their families; and their heritage was in the middle of the heritage of the children of Judah.

दूसरा पासा शिमओन गोत्र के नाम पड़ा, शिमओन वंशजों के कुलों के नाम, उनके परिवारों के अनुसार. उनकी मीरास यहूदाह गोत्रजों की मीरास के मध्य हो गई.

2 And they had for their heritage Beer-sheba and Shema and Moladah

परिणामस्वरूप, मीरास के रूप में: उन्हें बेअरशेबा अथवा शीबा, मोलादाह,

3 And Hazar-shual and Balah and Ezem

हाज़र-शूआल, बालाह, एज़ेम,

4 And Eltolad and Bethul and Hormah

एलतोलद, बतूल, होरमाह,

5 And Ziklag and Beth-marcaboth and Hazar-susah

ज़िकलाग, बेथ-मरकाबोथ, हाज़र-सूसाह,

6 And Beth-lebaoth and Sharuhen; thirteen towns with their unwalled places;

बेथ-लबाओथ तथा शारूहेन; उनके गांवों सहित तेरह नगर.

7 Ain, Rimmon, and Ether and Ashan; four towns with their unwalled places;

एइन, रिम्मोन, एतेर तथा आशान; चार नगर उनके गांवों सहित.

8 And all the unwalled places round about these towns as far as Baalath-beer-ramah to the south. This is the heritage of the tribe of Simeon by their families.

इनके अतिरिक्त इन सभी नगरों के आस-पास के गांव भी, जो बालथ-बएर, नेगेव की सीमा तक फैले हुए थे. यह शिमओन गोत्र के कुलों की उनके परिवारों के अनुसार दी गयी मीरास थी.

9 The heritage of Simeon was taken out of Judah's stretch of land, for Judah's part was more than they had need of, so the heritage of the children of Simeon was inside their heritage.

शिमओन को दी गयी यह मीरास यहूदाह को दी गयी मीरास में से ली गई थी, क्योंकि यहूदाह को दिया गया क्षेत्र उनके लिए अत्यंत विशाल हो गया था. इस प्रकार शिमओन वंशजों ने यहूदाह की मीरास के मध्य अपनी मीरास प्राप्‍त की.

10 And the third heritage came out for Zebulun by their families; the limit of their heritage was as far as Sarid;

पासा फेंकने पर तीसरा अंश ज़ेबुलून वंशजों के लिए उनके परिवारों के अनुसार निकला. उनकी मीरास की सीमा सारीद तक जा पहुंची.

11 And their limit goes up to the west to Maralah, stretching to Dabbesheth, and to the stream in front of Jokneam;

इसके बाद सीमा पश्चिम में मरालाह की दिशा में बढ़ गई, तब इसने दब्बेशेथ का स्पर्श किया और फिर सीमा योकनआम की निकटवर्ती सरिता तक पहुंची.

12 Then turning east from Sarid to the limit of Chisloth-tabor, it goes out to Daberath, and up to Japhia;

तब सीमा सारीद से मुड़कर पूर्व में सूर्योदय की दिशा में आगे बढ़ते हुए किसलोथ-ताबोर को स्पर्श किया. यह आगे बढ़ी और दाबरथ तथा याफिया पहुंची.

13 And from there it goes on east to Gath-hepher, to Eth-kazin; ending at Rimmon which goes as far as Neah;

वहां से यह पूर्व में सूर्योदय की दिशा में बढ़ती चली गई और गाथ-हेफ़ेर, एथ-काज़ीन पहुंची, और रिम्मोन की ओर बढ़ गई, जो नेआह तक विस्तृत है.

14 And the line goes round it on the north to Hannathon, ending at the valley of Iphtah-el;

यह सीमा उत्तर में हन्‍नाथोन की परिक्रमा कर यिफतह-एल की घाटी में जाकर समाप्‍त हो गई.

15 And Kattath and Nahalal and Shimron and Idalah and Beth-lehem; twelve towns with their unwalled places.

इसमें कट्टाथ, नहलाल, शिम्रोन, यिदअला तथा बेथलेहेम भी सम्मिलित हैं; ये बारह नगर, इनके गांवों के साथ.

16 This is the heritage of the children of Zebulun by their families, these towns with their unwalled places.

ये नगर इनके गांवों के सहित ज़ेबुलून वंशजों को उनके परिवार के अनुसार प्राप्‍त मीरास थी.

17 For Issachar the fourth heritage came out, for the children of Issachar by their families;

चौथा पासा इस्साखार के पक्ष में पड़ा-यिस्साकार के गोत्र के पक्ष में, उसके परिवारों के अनुसार.

18 And their limit was to Jezreel and Chesulloth and Shunem

इसकी सीमा में था: येज़्रील तथा इसमें सम्मिलित थे कसुल्लोथ, शूनेम,

19 And Hapharaim and Shion and Anaharath

हफारयिम, सियोन, अनाहरथ,

20 And Rabbith and Kishion and Ebez

रब्बीथ, किशयोन, एबेज़,

21 And Remeth and En-gannim and En-haddah and Beth-pazzez;

रेमेथ, एन-गन्‍नीम, एन-हद्दाह तथा बेथ-पत्सेत्स,

22 And their limit goes as far as Tabor and Shahazimah and Beth-shemesh, ending at Jordan; sixteen towns with their unwalled places.

सीमा ताबोर, शहत्सीमा तथा बेथ-शेमेश पहुंची और उनकी सीमा यरदन पर जा समाप्‍त हो गई; ये इनके गांवों के सहित सोलह नगर थे.

23 This is the heritage of the tribe of the children of Issachar by their families, these towns with their unwalled places.

ये नगर इनके गांवों के सहित इस्साखार गोत्र को उनके परिवारों के अनुसार दी गयी मीरास थी.

24 And the fifth heritage came out for the tribe of Asher by their families.

पांचवां पासा आशेर गोत्र के नाम उनके परिवारों के अनुसार पड़ा.

25 And their limit was Helkath and Hali and Beten and Achshaph

उनकी सीमा थी, हेलकथ, हली, बेटेन, अकशाफ,

26 And Alammelech and Amad and Mishal, stretching to Carmel on the west and Shihor-libnath;

अलम्मेलेख, अमआद तथा मिशआल; यह पश्चिम में कर्मेल तथा शीहोर-लिबनाथ तक पहुंची थी.

27 Turning to the east to Beth-dagon and stretching to Zebulun and the valley of Iphtah-el as far as Beth-emek and Neiel to the north; on the left it goes as far as Cabul

तब यह पूर्व की ओर बेथ-दागोन की ओर मुड़कर ज़ेबुलून पहुंच गई और वहां से यिफतह-एल घाटी को और फिर उत्तर की ओर बेथ-एमेक तथा नईएल को; वहां से यह उत्तर में काबूल

28 And Ebron and Rehob and Hammon and Kanah, to great Zidon;

एबदोन, रेहोब, हम्मोन तथा कानाह होते हुए बढ़कर वृहत्तर सीदोन पहुंचती है.

29 And the limit goes round to Ramah and the walled town of Tyre and Hosah, ending at the sea by Heleb and Achzib;

वहां सीमा रामाह तथा गढ़नगर सोर की ओर बढ़ती है, फिर यह सीमा होसाह की ओर बढ़ती है और अंततः अकज़ीब क्षेत्र में समुद्र पर जाकर समाप्‍त हो जाती है.

30 And Ummah and Aphek and Rehob; twenty-two towns with their unwalled places.

तब इसमें उमाह, अफेक तथा रेहोब, भी सम्मिलित थे; बाईस नगर जिनके साथ सम्मिलित थे इनके गांव.

31 This is the heritage of the tribe of the children of Asher by their families, these towns with their unwalled places.

यह आशेर गोत्र को, उनके परिवारों के अनुसार दी गयी मीरास थी; ये नगर तथा उनके साथ इनके गांव भी.

32 For the children of Naphtali the sixth heritage came out, for the children of Naphtali by their families;

छठा पासा नफताली वंशजों के पक्ष में पड़ा; नफताली वंशजों के लिए उनके परिवारों के अनुसार.

33 And their limit was from Heleph, from the oak-tree in Zaanannim, and Adami-hannekeb and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum, ending at Jordan;

उनकी सीमा प्रारंभ हुई थी हेलेफ से, सानन्‍नीम के बांज वृक्ष से अदामी-नेकेब, यबनेएल से लेकर लक्कूम तक और यरदन नदी पर जाकर समाप्‍त हो गई.

34 And turning west to Aznoth-tabor, the limit goes out from there to Hukkok, stretching to Zebulun on the south, and Asher on the west, and Judah at Jordan on the east.

उसके बाद सीमा पश्चिम में अज़नोथ-ताबोर की ओर मुड़ गई और बढ़ते हुए वहां से हूक्कोक पहुंची. वहां से वह ज़ेबुलून की ओर बढ़ी, जो दक्षिण में है. वहां उसने पश्चिम में आशेर को स्पर्श किया तथा पूर्व में यरदन तटवर्ती यहूदिया को.

35 And the walled towns are Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth

वहां ये गढ़नगर थे: ज़िद्दीम, ज़ेर, हम्माथ, रक्कथ, किन्‍नेरेथ,

36 And Adamah and Ramah and Hazor

अदामा, रामाह, हाज़ोर,

37 And Kedesh and Edrei and En-Hazor

केदेश, एद्रेइ, एन-हाज़ेर,

38 And Iron and Migdal-el, Horem and Beth-anath and Beth-shemesh; nineteen towns with their unwalled places.

यिरओन, मिगदल-एल, होरेम, बेथ-अनात तथा बेथ-शेमेश; इनके गांवों सहित ये उन्‍नीस नगर.

39 This is the heritage of the tribe of the children of Naphtali by their families, these towns with their unwalled places.

यह उनके परिवारों के अनुसार नफताली गोत्र को दी गयी मीरास थी; ये सभी नगर, उनके गांवों के साथ.

40 For the tribe of Dan by their families the seventh heritage came out;

सातवां पासा दान गोत्र के कुलों के पक्ष में उनके परिवारों के अनुसार पड़ा.

41 And the limit of their heritage was Zorah and Eshtaol and Ir-shemesh

उनकी मीरास की सीमा थी: ज़ोराह तथा एशताओल, ईर-शेमेश,

42 And Shaalabbin and Aijalon and Ithlah

शअलब्बीन, अय्जालोन, यिथला,

43 And Elon and Timnah and Ekron

एलोन, तिमनाह, एक्रोन,

44 And Eltekeh and Gibbethon and Baalath

एलतकेह, गिब्बथोन, बालाथ,

45 And Jehud and Bene-berak and Gath-rimmon;

येहुद, बेने-बरक, गथ-रिम्मोन,

46 And on the west was ... opposite Joppa.

मे-यरकोन अर्थात् यरकोन की जल राशि, रक्कोन तथा योप्पा से लगी हुई सीमा.

47 (But the limit of the children of Dan was not wide enough for them; so the children of Dan went up and made war on Leshem and took it, putting it to the sword without mercy, and they took it for their heritage and made a place for themselves there, giving it the name of Leshem-dan, after the name of their father, Dan.)

(दान के वंशजों की सीमा इनके भी आगे गई है; क्योंकि दान वंशजों ने लेशेम पर आक्रमण किया और उसे अधीन कर लिया. तत्पश्चात उन्होंने उस पर तलवार का प्रहार किया, उन पर अधिकार कर वे उसमें बस गए और उसे अपने पूर्वज के नाम के आधार पर लेशेम-दान नाम दिया.)

48 This is the heritage of the tribe of the children of Dan by their families, these towns with their unwalled places.

ये नगर उनके गांवों के साथ दान के गोत्र की, उनके परिवारों के अनुसार उनकी मीरास हो गए.

49 So the distribution of the land and its limits was complete; and the children of Israel gave Joshua, the son of Nun, a heritage among them;

जब मीरास के लिए सीमा के अनुसार बंटवारे की प्रक्रिया पूर्ण हो गई, इस्राएल वंशजों ने नून के पुत्र यहोशू को अपने मध्य एक मीरास प्रदान की.

50 By the orders of the Lord they gave him the town for which he made request, Timnath-serah in the hill-country of Ephraim: there, after building the town, he made his living-place.

याहवेह के आदेश के अनुसार उन्होंने यहोशू को वही नगर प्रदान किया, जिसकी उन्होंने याचना की थी—एफ्राईम के पर्वतीय प्रदेश में तिमनथ-सेरह. यहोशू ने इस नगर का निर्माण किया और वहीं बस गए.

51 These are the heritages which Eleazar the priest and Joshua, the son of Nun, and the heads of families of the tribes of the children of Israel gave out at Shiloh, by the decision of the Lord, at the door of the Tent of meeting. So the distribution of the land was complete.

ये ही हैं वे क्षेत्र, जो पुरोहित एलिएज़र, नून के पुत्र यहोशू तथा इस्राएल वंशजों के गोत्रों के परिवारों के प्रधानों ने शीलो में याहवेह के समक्ष मिलनवाले तंबू के प्रवेश पर आवंटित की. इस प्रकार समस्त भूमि का विभाजन सम्पन्‍न हो गया.
