Joshua 19
1 And the second heritage came out for the tribe of Simeon by their families; and their heritage was in the middle of the heritage of the children of Judah.
Le second sort échut à Siméon, pour la tribu des enfants de Siméon, selon leurs familles; et leur héritage fut au milieu de l'héritage des enfants de Juda.
2 And they had for their heritage Beer-sheba and Shema and Moladah
Et ils eurent dans leur héritage Béer-Shéba, Shéba, Molada,
3 And Hazar-shual and Balah and Ezem
Hatsar-Shual, Bala, Atsem,
4 And Eltolad and Bethul and Hormah
Eltholad, Bethul, Horma,
5 And Ziklag and Beth-marcaboth and Hazar-susah
Tsiklag, Beth-Marcaboth, Hatsar-Susa,
6 And Beth-lebaoth and Sharuhen; thirteen towns with their unwalled places;
Beth-Lebaoth, et Shearuchen: treize villes et leurs villages;
7 Ain, Rimmon, and Ether and Ashan; four towns with their unwalled places;
Aïn, Rimmon, Éther, et Ashan: quatre villes et leurs villages;
8 And all the unwalled places round about these towns as far as Baalath-beer-ramah to the south. This is the heritage of the tribe of Simeon by their families.
Et tous les villages qui sont autour de ces villes, jusqu'à Baalath-Béer, qui est Rama la méridionale. Tel fut l'héritage de la tribu des enfants de Siméon, selon leurs familles.
9 The heritage of Simeon was taken out of Judah's stretch of land, for Judah's part was more than they had need of, so the heritage of the children of Simeon was inside their heritage.
L'héritage des enfants de Siméon fut pris du lot des enfants de Juda; car la part des enfants de Juda était trop grande pour eux; et les enfants de Siméon eurent leur héritage au milieu de celui de Juda.
10 And the third heritage came out for Zebulun by their families; the limit of their heritage was as far as Sarid;
Le troisième sort échut aux enfants de Zabulon, selon leurs familles; et la frontière de leur héritage fut jusqu'à Sarid.
11 And their limit goes up to the west to Maralah, stretching to Dabbesheth, and to the stream in front of Jokneam;
Or, leur frontière montait à l'occident vers Maréala, et touchait à Dabbesheth, puis au torrent qui est en face de Joknéam.
12 Then turning east from Sarid to the limit of Chisloth-tabor, it goes out to Daberath, and up to Japhia;
De Sarid elle tournait à l'orient, vers le soleil levant, sur les confins de Kisloth-Thabor; puis elle sortait vers Dabrath, et montait à Japhia;
13 And from there it goes on east to Gath-hepher, to Eth-kazin; ending at Rimmon which goes as far as Neah;
De là elle passait vers l'orient, au levant, à Gath-Hépher, à Eth-Katsin; et elle sortait à Rimmon, se prolongeant vers Néa.
14 And the line goes round it on the north to Hannathon, ending at the valley of Iphtah-el;
Puis la frontière en faisait le tour au nord vers Hannathon, et aboutissait à la vallée de Jiphthach-El;
15 And Kattath and Nahalal and Shimron and Idalah and Beth-lehem; twelve towns with their unwalled places.
Avec Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Jidéala, et Bethléhem: douze villes et leurs villages.
16 This is the heritage of the children of Zebulun by their families, these towns with their unwalled places.
Tel fut l'héritage des enfants de Zabulon, selon leurs familles, ces villes-là et leurs villages.
17 For Issachar the fourth heritage came out, for the children of Issachar by their families;
Le quatrième sort échut à Issacar, pour les enfants d'Issacar, selon leurs familles.
18 And their limit was to Jezreel and Chesulloth and Shunem
Et leur frontière fut Jizréel, Kesulloth, Sunem,
19 And Hapharaim and Shion and Anaharath
Hapharaïm, Shion, Anacharath,
20 And Rabbith and Kishion and Ebez
Rabbith, Kishjon, Abets,
21 And Remeth and En-gannim and En-haddah and Beth-pazzez;
Rémeth, En-Gannim, En-Hadda, et Beth-Patsets.
22 And their limit goes as far as Tabor and Shahazimah and Beth-shemesh, ending at Jordan; sixteen towns with their unwalled places.
Et la frontière touchait à Thabor, à Shachatsima, et à Beth-Shémesh; et leur frontière aboutissait au Jourdain: seize villes et leurs villages.
23 This is the heritage of the tribe of the children of Issachar by their families, these towns with their unwalled places.
Tel fut l'héritage de la tribu des enfants d'Issacar, selon leurs familles, ces villes-là et leurs villages.
24 And the fifth heritage came out for the tribe of Asher by their families.
Le cinquième sort échut à la tribu des enfants d'Asser, selon leurs familles.
25 And their limit was Helkath and Hali and Beten and Achshaph
Et leur frontière fut Helkath, Hali, Béten, Acshaph,
26 And Alammelech and Amad and Mishal, stretching to Carmel on the west and Shihor-libnath;
Allammélec, Améad, et Mishéal. Elle touchait vers l'occident au Carmel, et au torrent de Libnath;
27 Turning to the east to Beth-dagon and stretching to Zebulun and the valley of Iphtah-el as far as Beth-emek and Neiel to the north; on the left it goes as far as Cabul
Puis elle tournait au soleil levant vers Beth-Dagon, touchait à Zabulon, et à la vallée de Jiphthach-El au nord de Beth-Émek et de Neïel; puis elle sortait vers Cabul, à gauche;
28 And Ebron and Rehob and Hammon and Kanah, to great Zidon;
Et vers Ébron, Réhob, Hammon, et Kana, jusqu'à Sidon la grande.
29 And the limit goes round to Ramah and the walled town of Tyre and Hosah, ending at the sea by Heleb and Achzib;
La frontière tournait ensuite vers Rama jusqu'à la ville forte de Tyr; puis la frontière tournait vers Hosa, et aboutissait à la mer, à partir du district d'Aczib;
30 And Ummah and Aphek and Rehob; twenty-two towns with their unwalled places.
Avec Umma, Aphek, et Réhob: vingt-deux villes et leurs villages.
31 This is the heritage of the tribe of the children of Asher by their families, these towns with their unwalled places.
Tel fut l'héritage de la tribu des enfants d'Asser, selon leurs familles, ces villes-là et leurs villages.
32 For the children of Naphtali the sixth heritage came out, for the children of Naphtali by their families;
Le sixième sort échut aux enfants de Nephthali, aux enfants de Nephthali selon leurs familles.
33 And their limit was from Heleph, from the oak-tree in Zaanannim, and Adami-hannekeb and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum, ending at Jordan;
Et leur frontière fut depuis Héleph, depuis le Chêne à Tsaanannim, Adami-Nékeb et Jabnéel, jusqu'à Lakkum; et elle aboutissait au Jourdain.
34 And turning west to Aznoth-tabor, the limit goes out from there to Hukkok, stretching to Zebulun on the south, and Asher on the west, and Judah at Jordan on the east.
Puis la frontière tournait vers l'occident, à Aznoth-Thabor, sortait de là vers Hukkok. Du côté du midi elle touchait à Zabulon, et du côté de l'occident elle touchait à Asser et à Juda; le Jourdain était au soleil levant.
35 And the walled towns are Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth
Et les villes fortes étaient Tsiddim, Tser, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnéreth,
36 And Adamah and Ramah and Hazor
Adama, Rama, Hatsor,
37 And Kedesh and Edrei and En-Hazor
Kédès, Édréï, En-Hatsor,
38 And Iron and Migdal-el, Horem and Beth-anath and Beth-shemesh; nineteen towns with their unwalled places.
Jiréon, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath, et Beth-Shémesh: dix-neuf villes et leurs villages.
39 This is the heritage of the tribe of the children of Naphtali by their families, these towns with their unwalled places.
Tel fut l'héritage de la tribu des enfants de Nephthali, selon leurs familles, ces villes-là et leurs villages.
40 For the tribe of Dan by their families the seventh heritage came out;
Le septième sort échut à la tribu des enfants de Dan, selon leurs familles.
41 And the limit of their heritage was Zorah and Eshtaol and Ir-shemesh
Et la contrée de leur héritage fut Tsoréa, Eshthaol, Ir-Shémesh,
42 And Shaalabbin and Aijalon and Ithlah
Shaalabbin, Ajalon, Jithla,
43 And Elon and Timnah and Ekron
Élon, Thimnatha, Ékron,
44 And Eltekeh and Gibbethon and Baalath
Eltheké, Guibbethon, Baalath,
45 And Jehud and Bene-berak and Gath-rimmon;
Jéhud, Bené-Bérak, Gath-Rimmon,
46 And on the west was ... opposite Joppa.
Mé-Jarkon et Rakkon, avec le territoire vis-à-vis de Japho.
47 (But the limit of the children of Dan was not wide enough for them; so the children of Dan went up and made war on Leshem and took it, putting it to the sword without mercy, and they took it for their heritage and made a place for themselves there, giving it the name of Leshem-dan, after the name of their father, Dan.)
Or, le territoire des enfants de Dan s'étendit hors de chez eux; les enfants de Dan montèrent et combattirent contre Léshem, la prirent, et la firent passer au fil de l'épée; ils en prirent possession, et y habitèrent, et appelèrent Léshem, Dan, du nom de Dan, leur père.
48 This is the heritage of the tribe of the children of Dan by their families, these towns with their unwalled places.
Tel fut l'héritage de la tribu des enfants de Dan, selon leurs familles, ces villes-là et leurs villages.
49 So the distribution of the land and its limits was complete; and the children of Israel gave Joshua, the son of Nun, a heritage among them;
Quand on eut achevé de partager le pays selon ses limites, les enfants d'Israël donnèrent au milieu d'eux un héritage à Josué, fils de Nun.
50 By the orders of the Lord they gave him the town for which he made request, Timnath-serah in the hill-country of Ephraim: there, after building the town, he made his living-place.
Selon l'ordre de l'Éternel, ils lui donnèrent la ville qu'il demanda: Thimnath-Sérach, dans la montagne d'Éphraïm. Il bâtit la ville et y habita.
51 These are the heritages which Eleazar the priest and Joshua, the son of Nun, and the heads of families of the tribes of the children of Israel gave out at Shiloh, by the decision of the Lord, at the door of the Tent of meeting. So the distribution of the land was complete.
Tels sont les héritages qu'Éléazar le sacrificateur, Josué, fils de Nun, et les chefs des familles des tribus des enfants d'Israël distribuèrent par le sort à Silo, devant l'Éternel, à l'entrée du tabernacle d'assignation. C'est ainsi qu'ils achevèrent le partage du pays.
