John 10
1 Truly I say to you, He who does not go through the door into the place where the sheep are kept, but gets in by some other way, is a thief and an outlaw.
੧ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਰਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਵੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਚੋਰ ਤੇ ਡਾਕੂ ਹੈ।
2 He who goes in by the door is the keeper of the sheep.
੨ਪਰ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਯਾਲੀ ਹੈ।
3 The porter lets him in; and the sheep give ear to his voice; he says over the names of the sheep, and takes them out.
੩ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਦਰਬਾਨ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਬੋਲ ਸੁਣਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ-ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬੁਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
4 When he has got them all out, he goes before them, and the sheep go after him, for they have knowledge of his voice.
੪ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ-ਅੱਗੇ ਤੁਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਗਰ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ; ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
5 They will not go after another who is not their keeper, but will go from him in flight, because his voice is strange to them.
੫ਪਰ ਉਹ ਪਰਾਏ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਮਗਰ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਰਾਏ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਛਾਣਦੀਆਂ।”
6 In this Jesus was teaching them in the form of a story: but what he said was not clear to them.
੬ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਸਮਝਾਇਆ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਨਾ ਸਮਝ ਸਕੇ।
7 So Jesus said again, Truly I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
੭ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ-ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਲਈ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ ਮੈਂ ਹਾਂ।
8 All who came before me are thieves and outlaws: but the sheep did not give ear to them.
੮ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਏ, ਉਹ ਚੋਰ ਤੇ ਡਾਕੂ ਸਨ, ਭੇਡਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣੀ।
9 I am the door: if any man goes in through me he will have salvation, and will go in and go out, and will get food.
੯ਮੈਂ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਬਚਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਅੰਦਰ-ਬਾਹਰ ਆਇਆ ਜਾਇਆ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
10 The thief comes only to take the sheep and to put them to death: he comes for their destruction: I have come so that they may have life and have it in greater measure.
੧੦ਚੋਰ, ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰਨ, ਮਾਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਚੋਖਾ ਜੀਵਨ।
11 I am the good keeper of sheep: the good keeper gives his life for the sheep.
੧੧ਮੈਂ ਚੰਗਾ ਅਯਾਲੀ ਹਾਂ। ਇੱਕ ਚੰਗਾ ਅਯਾਲੀ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਖਾਤਰ ਆਪਣਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
12 He who is a servant, and not the keeper or the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming and goes in flight, away from the sheep; and the wolf comes down on them and sends them in all directions:
੧੨ਇੱਕ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਅਯਾਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਬਘਿਆੜ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਹੀਂ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਬਘਿਆੜ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਿੰਡਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
13 Because he is a servant he has no interest in the sheep.
੧੩ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰੀ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਖਿਆਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦਾ।
14 I am the good keeper; I have knowledge of my sheep, and they have knowledge of me,
੧੪ਮੈਂ ਚੰਗਾ ਅਯਾਲੀ ਹਾਂ, ਜੋ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਪਿਤਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ
15 Even as the Father has knowledge of me and I of the Father; and I am giving my life for the sheep.
੧੫ਅਤੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਵੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ
16 And I have other sheep which are not of this field: I will be their guide in the same way, and they will give ear to my voice, so there will be one flock and one keeper.
੧੬ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਇਸ ਇੱਜੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਲਿਆਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣਨਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਇੱਜੜ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕੋ ਅਯਾਲੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
17 For this reason am I loved by the Father, because I give up my life so that I may take it again.
੧੭ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਲੈ ਸਕਾਂ। ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮੇਰੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਖੋਂਹਦਾ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਗੁਆ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
18 No one takes it away from me; I give it up of myself. I have power to give it up, and I have power to take it again. These orders I have from my Father.
੧੮ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ।”
19 There was a division again among the Jews because of these words.
੧੯ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸੁਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੁੱਟ ਪੈ ਗਈ।
20 And a number of them said, He has an evil spirit and is out of his mind; why do you give ear to him?
੨੦ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੂਤ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਗਲ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੋਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਸੁਣ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ?”
21 Others said, These are not the words of one who has an evil spirit. Is it possible for an evil spirit to make blind people see?
੨੧ਪਰ ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਿਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੂਤ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲ ਸਕਦਾ। ਕੀ ਕੋਈ ਭੂਤ ਕਿਸੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਜਾਖਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ਨਹੀਂ!”
22 Then came the feast of the opening of the Temple in Jerusalem: it was winter;
੨੨ਇਹ ਸਰਦੀ ਦੀ ਰੁੱਤ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਸ਼ਠਾ ਦਾ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਆਇਆ।
23 And Jesus was walking in the Temple, in Solomon's covered way.
੨੩ਯਿਸੂ ਹੈਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਡਿਉਢੀ ਤੇ ਟਹਿਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।
24 Then the Jews came round him, saying, how long are you going to keep us in doubt? If you are the Christ, say so clearly.
੨੪ਯਹੂਦੀ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ, “ਕਿੰਨੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾਵੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖੇਂਗਾ? ਜੇਕਰ ਤੂੰ ਮਸੀਹ ਹੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼-ਸਾਫ਼ ਦੱਸ।”
25 Jesus said in answer, I have said it and you have no belief: the works which I do in my Father's name, these give witness about me.
੨੫ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹਾਂ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਕਰਾਮਾਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
26 But you have no belief because you are not of my sheep.
੨੬ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ।
27 My sheep give ear to my voice, and I have knowledge of them, and they come after me:
੨੭ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਚਲਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
29 That which my Father has given to me has more value than all; and no one is able to take anything out of the Father's hand.
੨੯ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ।
30 I and my Father are one.
੩੦ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਖੋਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ। ਮੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਇੱਕ ਹਾਂ।”
31 Then the Jews took up stones again to send at him.
੩੧ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਫਿਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੱਥਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ।
32 Jesus said to them in answer, I have let you see a number of good works from the Father; for which of those works are you stoning me?
੩੨ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਿਤਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਚੰਗੇ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਖਾਏ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਥਰਾਹ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ?”
33 This was their answer: We are not stoning you for a good work but for evil words; because being a man you make yourself God.
੩੩ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਕੰਮ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਾਰ ਰਹੇ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕੁਫ਼ਰ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਹੈਂ। ਤੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹੈਂ ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈਂ। ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਨੋਂ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।”
34 In answer, Jesus said, Is there not a saying in your law, I said, You are gods?
੩੪ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਹੋ’।
35 If he said they were gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Writings may not be broken),
੩੫ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਅਖਵਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਚਨ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਝੂਠਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ।
36 Do you say of him whom the Father made holy and sent into the world, Your words are evil; because I said, I am God's Son?
੩੬ਫਿਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਕਹਿ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕੁਫ਼ਰ ਬੋਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਾਂ? ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਭੇਜਣ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ।
37 If I am not doing the works of my Father, do not have belief in me;
੩੭ਜੇਕਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਜੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ।
38 But if I am doing them, then have belief in the works even if you have no belief in me; so that you may see clearly and be certain that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.
੩੮ਪਰ ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਫਿਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ, ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰੋ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੈਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਫੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਝੋਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਪਿਤਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਂ।”
39 Then again they made an attempt to take him; but he got away from them.
੩੯ਯਹੂਦੀ ਫੇਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਗਿਆ।
40 And he went again to the other side of the Jordan, to the place where John first gave baptism; and he was there for a time.
੪੦ਯਿਸੂ ਫਿਰ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਰ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਠਹਿਰਿਆ।
41 And a great number of people came to him, saying, John did no sign: but everything John said of this man was true.
੪੧ਉੱਥੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੀੜ ਯਿਸੂ ਕੋਲ ਆਈ ਅਤੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੀ, “ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਕੋਈ ਚਮਤਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਪਰ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਨੇ ਉਸ (ਯਿਸੂ) ਬਾਰੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਉਹ ਸੱਚ ਸੀ।”
42 And a number came to have faith in him there.
੪੨ਉੱਥੇ ਫਿਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ।
