Job 23
1 And Job made answer and said,
௧யோபு மறுமொழியாக:
2 Even today my outcry is bitter; his hand is hard on my sorrow.
௨“இன்றையதினமும் என் அங்கலாய்ப்பு முரட்டுத்தனமாக எண்ணப்படுகிறது; என் தவிப்பைவிட என் வாதை கடினமானது.
3 If only I had knowledge of where he might be seen, so that I might come even to his seat!
௩நான் அவரை எங்கே கண்டு சந்திக்கலாம் என்பதை அறிந்தால் நலமாயிருக்கும்; அப்பொழுது நான் அவர் இருக்கைக்கு முன்பாக வந்து சேர்ந்து,
4 I would put my cause in order before him, and my mouth would be full of arguments.
௪என் நியாயத்தை அவருக்கு முன்பாக வரிசையாக வைத்து, காரியத்தை நிரூபிக்கும் வார்த்தைகளால் என் வாயை நிரப்புவேன்.
5 I would see what his answers would be, and have knowledge of what he would say to me.
௫அவருடைய மறுமொழிகளை நான் அறிந்து, அவர் எனக்குச் சொல்வதை உணர்ந்துகொள்ளுவேன்.
6 Would he make use of his great power to overcome me? No, but he would give attention to me.
௬அவர் தம்முடைய மகா வல்லமையினால் என்னுடன் வழக்காடுவாரோ? அவர் அப்படிச் செய்யாமல் என்மேல் தயை வைப்பார்.
7 There an upright man might put his cause before him; and I would be free for ever from my judge.
௭அங்கே சன்மார்க்கன் அவருடன் வழக்காடலாம்; அப்பொழுது என்னை நியாயந்தீர்க்கிறவரின் கைக்கு என்றைக்கும் விலக்கிக் காப்பாற்றிக்கொள்வேன்.
8 See, I go forward, but he is not there; and back, but I do not see him;
௮இதோ, நான் முன்னேபோனாலும் அவர் இல்லை; பின்னேபோனாலும் அவரைக் காணவில்லை.
9 I am looking for him on the left hand, but there is no sign of him; and turning to the right, I am not able to see him.
௯இடதுபுறத்தில் அவர் செயல்பட்டும் அவரைப் பார்க்கவில்லை; வலது புறத்திலும் நான் அவரைக் பார்க்காமலிருக்க மறைந்திருக்கிறார்.
10 For he has knowledge of the way I take; after I have been tested I will come out like gold.
௧0ஆனாலும் நான் போகும் வழியை அவர் அறிவார்; அவர் என்னைச் சோதித்தபின் நான் பொன்னாக விளங்குவேன்.
11 My feet have gone in his steps; I have kept in his way, without turning to one side or to the other.
௧௧என் கால்கள் அவர் அடிகளைப் பற்றிப்பிடித்தது; அவருடைய கட்டளையை விட்டு நான் விலகாமல் அதைக் கைக்கொண்டேன்.
12 I have never gone against the orders of his lips; the words of his mouth have been stored up in my heart.
௧௨அவர் உதடுகளின் கற்பனைகளை விட்டு நான் பின்வாங்குவதில்லை; அவருடைய வாயின் வார்த்தைகளை எனக்கு வேண்டிய ஆகாரத்தைப் பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாகக் காத்துக்கொண்டேன்.
13 But his purpose is fixed and there is no changing it; and he gives effect to the desire of his soul.
௧௩அவரோவென்றால் ஒரே மனமாயிருக்கிறார்; அவரைத் திருப்பத்தக்கவர் யார்? அவருடைய விருப்பத்தின்படியெல்லாம் செய்வார்.
14 For what has been ordered for me by him will be gone through to the end: and his mind is full of such designs.
௧௪எனக்கு திட்டமிட்டிருக்கிறதை அவர் நிறைவேற்றுவார்; இப்படிப்பட்டவைகள் இன்னும் அநேகம் அவரிடத்தில் உண்டு.
15 For this cause I am in fear before him, my thoughts of him overcome me.
௧௫ஆகையால் அவருக்கு முன்பாகக் கலங்குகிறேன்; நான் சிந்திக்கிறபோது, அவருக்குப் பயப்படுகிறேன்.
16 For God has made my heart feeble, and my mind is troubled before the Ruler of all.
௧௬தேவன் என் இருதயத்தை சோர்வடையச் செய்தார்; சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவன் என்னைக் கலங்கச் செய்தார்.
17 For I am overcome by the dark, and by the black night which is covering my face.
௧௭இருள் வராததற்கு முன்னே நான் அழிக்கப்படாமலும், இருளை அவர் எனக்கு மறைக்காமலும் போனதினால் இப்படியிருக்கிறேன்.
