Job 21
1 Then Job made answer and said,
౧అప్పుడు యోబు ఇలా జవాబిచ్చాడు.
2 Give attention with care to my words; and let this be your comfort.
౨మీరు నా మాటలు శ్రద్ధగా వినండి. నా మాటలు విని నన్ను ఆదరించకపోయినా సరే నా మాటలు వింటే చాలు.
3 Let me say what is in my mind, and after that, go on making sport of me.
౩నాకు అనుమతి ఇస్తే నేను మాట్లాడతాను. నా మాటలు విన్న తరువాత మీరు నన్ను ఎగతాళి చేస్తారేమో.
4 As for me, is my outcry against man? is it then to be wondered at if my spirit is troubled?
౪నేను మనుషులకు విన్నపం చేయడం లేదు. నేనెందుకు ఆత్రుత చెందకూడదు?
5 Take note of me and be full of wonder, put your hand on your mouth.
౫మీ నోళ్ళపై చేతులు ఉంచుకుని నన్ను పరిశీలించి చూసి ఆశ్చర్యపడండి.
6 At the very thought of it my flesh is shaking with fear.
౬ఈ విషయాలను గురించి తలుచుకుంటే నాకేమీ తోచడం లేదు. నా శరీరమంతా వణికిపోతుంది.
7 Why is life given to the evil-doers? why do they become old and strong in power?
౭భక్తిహీనులు ఇంకా ఎలా బతికి ఉన్నారు? వాళ్ళు ముసలివాళ్ళు అవుతున్నా ఇంకా బలంగా ఉంటున్నారెందుకు?
8 Their children are ever with them, and their offspring before their eyes.
౮వాళ్ళు బతికి ఉండగానే వాళ్ళ సంతానం, వాళ్ళు చూస్తూ ఉండగానే వాళ్ళ కుటుంబాలు చక్కబడుతున్నాయి.
9 Their houses are free from fear, and the rod of God does not come on them.
౯వాళ్ళ సంతానానికి ఎలాంటి ఆపదా కలగడం లేదు. వాళ్ళు క్షేమం ఉన్నారు. దేవుని కాపుదల వాళ్ళపై ఉంటుంది.
10 Their ox is ready at all times to give seed; their cow gives birth, without dropping her young.
౧౦వాళ్ళ పశువులు దాటితే తప్పకుండా చూలు కలుగుతుంది. ఆవులు తేలికగా ఈనుతున్నాయి, వాటి దూడలు పుట్టగానే చనిపోవడం లేదు.
11 They send out their young ones like a flock, and their children have pleasure in the dance,
౧౧వాళ్ళ పిల్లలు గుంపులు గుంపులుగా బయటికి వస్తారు. వాళ్ళు ఎగురుతూ గంతులు వేస్తారు.
12 They make songs to the instruments of music, and are glad at the sound of the pipe.
౧౨వాళ్ళు తంబుర, తంతివాద్యం వాయిస్తూ గొంతెత్తి పాటలు పాడుతూ సంతోషిస్తారు.
13 Their days come to an end without trouble, and suddenly they go down to the underworld. (Sheol h7585)
౧౩వాళ్ళు సుఖంగా తమ రోజులు గడుపుతారు. అయితే ఒక్క క్షణంలోనే పాతాళానికి దిగిపోతారు. (Sheol h7585)
14 Though they said to God, Go away from us, for we have no desire for the knowledge of your ways.
౧౪వాళ్ళు “నువ్వు మాకు అక్కరలేదు, నువ్వు బోధించే జ్ఞానయుక్తమైన సంగతులు మేము వినం” అని దేవునితో చెబుతారు.
15 What is the Ruler of all, that we may give him worship? and what profit is it to us to make prayer to him?
౧౫“మేము సేవించడానికి సర్వశక్తుడైన ఆయన ఎంతటి వాడు? మేము ఆయనను వేడుకుంటే మాకు ఒరిగే దేమిటి?” అని వాళ్ళు అడుగుతారు.
16 Truly, is not their well-being in their power? (The purpose of the evil-doers is far from me.)
౧౬వారి ఎదుగుదల వాళ్ళ చేతుల్లో లేదు. భక్తిహీనుల తలంపులు నాకు దూరంగా ఉండుగాక.
17 How frequently is the light of the evil-doers put out, or does trouble come on them? how frequently does his wrath take them with cords?
౧౭భక్తిహీనుల దీపం ఆరిపోవడం తరచుగా జరుగుతుందా? వాళ్ళ మీదికి విపత్తులు రావడం చాలా అరుదు గదా.
18 How frequently are they as dry stems before the wind, or as grass taken away by the storm-wind?
౧౮ఆయన వాళ్ళపై కోపం తెచ్చుకుని వాళ్లకు ఆపదలు కలిగించడం, వాళ్ళను తుఫానుకు కొట్టుకుపోయే చెత్తలాగా, గాలికి ఎగిరిపోయే పొట్టులాగా చేయడం తరచూ జరగదు గదా.
19 You say, God keeps punishment stored up for his children. Let him send it on the man himself, so that he may have the punishment of it!
౧౯“వాళ్ళ పాపాలన్నీ వాళ్ళ సంతానం మీద మోపడానికి ఆయన వాటిని దాచి ఉండవచ్చు” అని మీరు అంటున్నారు. పాపం చేసిన వాళ్లే వాటిని అనుభవించేలా ఆయన వారికే ప్రతిఫలమివ్వాలి.
20 Let his eyes see his trouble, and let him be full of the wrath of the Ruler of all!
౨౦తమ నాశనాన్ని వాళ్ళు స్వయంగా చూడాలి. సర్వశక్తుడైన దేవుని కోపాగ్నిని వారు అనుభవించాలి.
21 For what interest has he in his house after him, when the number of his months is ended?
౨౧వాళ్ళ జీవితకాలం ముగిసిపోయి, చనిపోయిన తరువాత ఇంటి విషయాల మీద వాళ్లకు శ్రద్ధ ఎలా ఉంటుంది?
22 Is anyone able to give teaching to God? for he is the judge of those who are on high.
౨౨దేవునికి జ్ఞాన వివేకాలు నేర్పించేవాడు ఎవరైనా ఉన్నారా? ఆయన పరలోకంలో ఉండే నీతిమంతులకు తీర్పు తీర్చేవాడు గదా.
23 One comes to his end in complete well-being, full of peace and quiet:
౨౩ఒకడు సమస్త సుఖాలు అనుభవించి, మంచి ఆరోగ్యం, నెమ్మది కలిగి జీవించి చనిపోతాడు.
24 His buckets are full of milk, and there is no loss of strength in his bones.
౨౪అతడి కుండ నిండా పాలు పొర్లుతాయి. అతడి ఎముకలు సత్తువ కలిగి ఉంటాయి.
25 And another comes to his end with a bitter soul, without ever tasting good.
౨౫మరొకడు ఎన్నడూ సుఖ సంతోషాలు అనేవి తెలియకుండా మనోవేదన గలవాడై చనిపోతాడు.
26 Together they go down to the dust, and are covered by the worm.
౨౬ఇద్దరినీ సమానంగా ఒకే వరసలో మట్టిలో పాతిపెడతారు. ఇద్దరినీ పురుగులు కప్పివేస్తాయి.
27 See, I am conscious of your thoughts, and of your violent purposes against me;
౨౭నాకు వ్యతిరేకంగా మీరు పన్నుతున్న కుట్రలు నాకు తెలుసు. మీ మనసులోని ఆలోచనలు నేను గ్రహించాను.
28 For you say, Where is the house of the ruler, and where is the tent of the evil-doer?
౨౮“ఉన్నత వంశస్థుల గృహాలు ఎక్కడ ఉన్నాయి? దుర్మార్గుల నివాసాలు ఎక్కడ ఉన్నాయి?” అని మీరు అడుగుతున్నారు గదా.
29 Have you not put the question to the travellers, and do you not take note of their experience?
౨౯దేశంలో ప్రయాణాలు చేసే యాత్రికులను మీరు అడగలేకపోయారా? వాళ్ళు చెప్పిన విషయాలు మీరు అర్థం చేసుకోలేకపోయారా?
30 How the evil man goes free in the day of trouble, and has salvation in the day of wrath?
౩౦ఆ విషయాలేమిటంటే, ఆపద కలిగిన రోజున దుర్మార్గులు తప్పించుకుంటారు. ఉగ్రత దిగి వచ్చే రోజున వాళ్ళు దాని నుండి పక్కకు తొలగించబడతారు.
31 Who will make his way clear to his face? and if he has done a thing, who gives him punishment for it?
౩౧వాళ్ళ ప్రవర్తన బట్టి వాళ్ళకు ఎదురు నిలిచి మాట్లాడగలిగేది ఎవరు? వారు చేసిన పనులను బట్టి వారికి శిక్ష విధించేవాడు ఎవరు?
32 He is taken to his last resting-place, and keeps watch over it.
౩౨వాళ్ళు చనిపోతే సమాధి అవుతారు. ఆ సమాధికి కాపలా ఉంటుంది.
33 The earth of the valley covering his bones is sweet to him, and all men come after him, as there were unnumbered before him.
౩౩పళ్ళెంలో మట్టి పెంకులు వారికి సుఖం ఇస్తాయి. మనుషులంతా వాళ్ళనే అనుసరిస్తారు. గతంలో లెక్కలేనంతమంది వాళ్లకు ముందు ఇలాగే చేశారు.
34 Why then do you give me comfort with words in which there is no profit, when you see that there is nothing in your answers but deceit?
౩౪మీరు చెప్పే జవాబులు నమ్మదగినవిగా లేవు. ఇలాంటి వ్యర్ధమైన మాటలతో మీరు నన్నెలా ఓదార్చాలని చూస్తున్నారు?
