< Job 13 >
1 Truly, my eye has seen all this, word of it has come to my ear, and I have knowledge of it.
Kitaenyo, nakita aminen ti matak daytoy; Nangngeg ken naawatan ti lapayagko daytoy.
2 The same things are in my mind as in yours; I am equal to you.
Ti ammoyo, ammok met; saanak a nababbaba ngem kadakayo.
3 But I would have talk with the Ruler of all, and my desire is to have an argument with God.
Nupay kasta, makisaritaak laengen iti Mannakabalin amin; kayatko ti makilinnawagak iti Dios.
4 But you put a false face on things; all your attempts to put things right are of no value.
Ngem kinalubanyo ti kinapudno kadagiti inuulbod; mangngagaskayo amin nga awan mapaimbagna.
5 If only you would keep quiet, it would be a sign of wisdom!
O, nga agulimekkayo koma amin! Daytanto ti kinasiribyo.
6 Give ear to the argument of my mouth, and take note of the words of my lips.
Denggenyo ita ti rasonko; dumngegkayo iti panagpakpakaasi dagiti bibigko.
7 Will you say in God's name what is not right, and put false words into his mouth?
Agsaokayo kadi a saan a sililinteg para iti Dios, ken agsaokayo kadi a siaallilaw para kenkuana?
8 Will you have respect for God's person in this cause, and put yourselves forward as his supporters?
Pudno kadi a mangipakitakayo iti kinaimbag kenkuana? Pudno kadi a makisuppiatkayo iti pangukoman a kas abogado para iti Dios?
9 Will it be good for you to be searched out by him, or have you the thought that he may be guided into error like a man?
Nasayaat kadi kadakayo no isuna a kas ukom ket sumango kadakayo ket sukimatennakayo ketdi? Wenno kas iti panangallilaw ti maysa a tao iti sabali a tao, pudno kadi nga ibagiyo isuna iti saan nga umno iti pangukoman?
10 He will certainly put you right, if you have respect for persons in secret.
Awan duadua a tubngarennakayo no sililimedkayo a nangipakita iti panangidumduma kenkuana.
11 Will not his glory put you in fear, so that your hearts will be overcome before him?
Saannakayo kadi a butngen ti dayagna? Saan kadi nga agdissuor kadakayo ti panangbutbutengna?
12 Your wise sayings are only dust, and your strong places are only earth.
Dagiti saan a malipatan a sasaoyo ket proberbio a naaramid iti dapo; dagiti salaknibyo ket salaknib a naaramid iti pitak.
13 Keep quiet, and let me say what is in my mind, whatever may come to me.
Agulimekkayo, bay-andak nga agmaymaysa, tapno makasaoak, bay-anyo koma ti umay kaniak.
14 I will take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in my hand.
Alaek ti bukodko a lasag iti ngipenko; alaek ti biagko kadagiti imak.
15 Truly, he will put an end to me; I have no hope; but I will not give way in argument before him;
Kitaenyo, no patayennak, awanen ti nabati a namnamak; nupay kasta, ikalintegak dagiti wagasko iti sangoananna.
16 And that will be my salvation, for an evil-doer would not come before him,
Daytoyto ti rason para iti pannakapakawan ti basolko, a saanak a mapan iti sangoananna a kasla iti maysa a tao nga awan diosna.
17 Give ear with care to my words, and keep what I say in your minds.
O Dios, dumngegka a nasayaat iti ibagak, mangngeg koma ti lapayagmo dagiti ipalawagko.
18 See now, I have put my cause in order, and I am certain that I will be seen to be right.
Kitaem ita, insaganak a naurnos ti salaknibko; ammok nga awan basolko.
19 Is any one able to take up the argument against me? If so, I would keep quiet and give up my breath.
Siasino ti mangsuppiat kaniak iti pangukoman? Nu immayka a mangaramid iti kasta, ket no napaneknekan a nagbasolak, ket agulimekakto ken itulokko a matayak.
20 Only two things do not do to me, then I will come before your face:
O Dios, agaramidka laeng iti dua a banag para kaniak, ket saanko nga ilemmeng ti bagik manipud iti rupam:
21 Take your hand far away from me; and let me not be overcome by fear of you.
ibabawim ti manangdadael nga imam manipud kaniak, ket saanmo nga itulok a butbutngendak dagiti pangbutbutengmo.
22 Then at the sound of your voice I will give answer; or let me put forward my cause for you to give me an answer.
Ket awagannak, ket sumungbatak; Wenno palubosam nga agsaoak kenka, ket sungbatannak.
23 What is the number of my evil-doings and my sins? give me knowledge of them.
Mano dagiti kinadangkesko ken basolko? Ibagam kaniak ti naglabsingak ken ti nagbasolak.
24 Why is your face veiled from me, as if I was numbered among your haters?
Apay nga ilemmengmo ti rupam kaniak ket tratoennak a kasla maysa a kabusormo?
25 Will you be hard on a leaf in flight before the wind? will you make a dry stem go more quickly on its way?
Dadaelem kadi ti naipalladaw a bulong? Kamatem kadi ti namagaan a garami?
26 For you put bitter things on record against me, and send punishment on me for the sins of my early years;
Ta ilislistam dagiti nasasaem a banbanag a maibusor kaniak; ipatawidmo kaniak dagiti kinadakes ti kinaagtutubok.
27 And you put chains on my feet, watching all my ways, and making a limit for my steps;
Ikabilmo pay dagiti sakak kadagiti kawar; palpaliiwem a naimbag dagiti amin a dalanko; suksukimatem ti daga a nagnaan dagiti dapan ti sakak
28 Though a man comes to nothing like a bit of dead wood, or like a robe which has become food for the worm.
uray no kaslaak a nabuyok a banag nga agrunot, kasla pagan-anay a kinnan ti buot.
