Jeremiah 27
1 When Zedekiah, the son of Josiah, king of Judah, first became king this word came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
Im Anfang der Regierung Zedekias, des Sohnes Josias, des Königs von Juda, geschah dieses Wort zu Jeremia von seiten Jehovas also: -
2 This is what the Lord has said to me: Make for yourself bands and yokes and put them on your neck;
So sprach Jehova zu mir: Mache dir Bande und Jochstäbe, und lege sie um deinen Hals;
3 And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the children of Ammon, and to the king of Tyre, and to the king of Zidon, by their servants who come to Jerusalem, to Zedekiah, king of Judah;
und sende sie an den König von Edom und an den König von Moab und an den König der Kinder Ammon, und an den König von Tyrus und an den König von Zidon, durch die Boten, welche nach Jerusalem zu Zedekia, dem König von Juda, gekommen sind;
4 And give them orders to say to their masters, This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: Say to your masters,
und befiel ihnen, daß sie ihren Herren sagen: So spricht Jehova der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Also sollt ihr euren Herren sagen:
5 I have made the earth, and man and beast on the face of the earth, by my great power and by my outstretched arm; and I will give it to anyone at my pleasure.
Ich habe die Erde gemacht, die Menschen und das Vieh, die auf der Fläche der Erde sind, durch meine große Kraft und durch meinen ausgestreckten Arm; und ich gebe sie, wem es mich gut dünkt.
6 And now I have given all these lands into the hands of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, my servant; and I have given the beasts of the field to him for his use.
Und nun habe ich alle diese Länder in die Hand Nebukadnezars, des Königs von Babel, meines Knechtes, gegeben; und auch die Tiere des Feldes habe ich ihm gegeben, daß sie ihm dienen.
7 And all the nations will be servants to him and to his son and to his son's son, till the time comes for his land to be overcome: and then a number of nations and great kings will take it for their use.
Und alle Nationen werden ihm dienen und seinem Sohne und seinem Sohnessohne, bis die Zeit auch seines Landes gekommen ist, und viele Völker und große Könige ihn dienstbar machen.
8 And it will come about, that if any nation does not become a servant to this same Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, and does not put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, then I will send punishment on that nation, says the Lord, by the sword and need of food and by disease, till I have given them into his hands.
Und es wird geschehen, die Nation und das Königreich, welche ihm, Nebukadnezar, dem König von Babel, nicht dienen und ihren Hals unter das Joch des Königs von Babel nicht geben wollen, selbige Nation, spricht Jehova, werde ich heimsuchen mit dem Schwerte und mit dem Hunger und mit der Pest, bis ich sie durch seine Hand aufgerieben habe.
9 And you are not to give attention to your prophets or your readers of signs or your dreamers or those who see into the future or those who make use of secret arts, who say to you, You will not become servants of the king of Babylon:
Und ihr, höret nicht auf eure Propheten und auf eure Wahrsager und auf eure Träume und auf eure Zauberer und auf eure Beschwörer, die zu euch sprechen und sagen: Ihr werdet dem König von Babel nicht dienen.
10 For they say false words to you, so that you may be sent away far from your land, and so that you may be forced out by me and come to destruction.
Denn sie weissagen euch Lüge, um euch aus eurem Lande zu entfernen, und damit ich euch vertreibe und ihr umkommet.
11 But as for that nation which puts its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and becomes his servant, I will let that nation keep on in its land, farming it and living in it, says the Lord.
Die Nation aber, welche ihren Hals unter das Joch des Königs von Babel bringen und ihm dienen wird, die werde ich in ihrem Lande lassen, spricht Jehova; und sie wird es bebauen und darin wohnen.
12 And I said all this to Zedekiah, king of Judah, saying, Put your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon and become his servants and his people, so that you may keep your lives.
Und ich redete zu Zedekia, dem König von Juda, nach allen diesen Worten und sprach: Bringet eure Hälse unter das Joch des Königs von Babel und dienet ihm und seinem Volke, so werdet ihr leben.
13 Why are you desiring death, you and your people, by the sword, and because food is gone, and by disease, as the Lord has said of the nation which does not become the servant of the king of Babylon?
Warum wolltet ihr, du und dein Volk, durch das Schwert, durch den Hunger und durch die Pest sterben, wie Jehova über die Nation geredet hat, welche dem König von Babel nicht dienen will?
14 And you are not to give ear to the prophets who say to you, You will not become servants of the king of Babylon: for what they say is not true.
Und höret nicht auf die Worte der Propheten, die zu euch sprechen und sagen: Ihr werdet dem König von Babel nicht dienen; denn sie weissagen euch Lüge.
15 For I have not sent them, says the Lord, but they are saying what is false in my name, so that I might send you out by force, causing destruction to come on you and on your prophets.
Denn ich habe sie nicht gesandt, spricht Jehova, und sie weissagen falsch in meinem Namen, damit ich euch vertreibe und ihr umkommet, ihr und die Propheten, die euch weissagen.
16 And I said to the priests and to all the people, This is what the Lord has said: Give no attention to the words of your prophets who say to you, See, in a very little time now the vessels of the Lord's house will come back again from Babylon: for what they say to you is false.
Und ich redete zu den Priestern und zu diesem ganzen Volke und sprach: So spricht Jehova: Höret nicht auf die Worte eurer Propheten, die euch weissagen und sprechen: Siehe, die Geräte des Hauses Jehovas werden nun bald aus Babel zurückgebracht werden; denn sie weissagen euch Lüge.
17 Give no attention to them; become servants of the king of Babylon and keep yourselves from death: why let this town become a waste?
Höret nicht auf sie; dienet dem König von Babel, so werdet ihr leben; warum sollte diese Stadt zur Einöde werden?
18 But if they are prophets, and if the word of the Lord is with them, let them now make request to the Lord of armies that the vessels which are still in the house of the Lord and in the house of the king of Judah and at Jerusalem, may not go to Babylon.
Wenn sie aber Propheten sind, und wenn das Wort Jehovas bei ihnen ist, so mögen sie doch bei Jehova der Heerscharen Fürbitte tun, damit die Geräte, welche im Hause Jehovas und im Hause des Königs von Juda und in Jerusalem übriggeblieben sind, nicht nach Babel kommen.
19 For this is what the Lord has said about the rest of the vessels which are still in this town,
Denn so spricht Jehova der Heerscharen von den Säulen und von dem Meere und von den Gestellen und von den übrigen Geräten, die in dieser Stadt übriggeblieben sind,
20 Which Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, did not take away, when he took Jeconiah, the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, a prisoner from Jerusalem to Babylon, with all the great men of Judah and Jerusalem;
welche Nebukadnezar, der König von Babel, nicht weggenommen hat, als er Jekonja, den Sohn Jojakims, den König von Juda, samt allen Edlen von Juda und Jerusalem, von Jerusalem nach Babel wegführte-
21 For this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said about the rest of the vessels in the house of the Lord and in the house of the king of Judah and at Jerusalem:
denn so spricht Jehova der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels, von den Geräten, welche im Hause Jehovas und im Hause des Königs von Juda und in Jerusalem übriggeblieben sind:
22 They will be taken away to Babylon, and there they will be till the day when I send their punishment on them, says the Lord. Then I will take them up and put them back in their place.
Sie sollen nach Babel gebracht werden, und sollen daselbst sein bis auf den Tag, da ich nach ihnen sehen werde, spricht Jehova, und ich sie heraufführe und sie an diesen Ort zurückbringe.
