< Isaiah 32 >

1 See, a king will be ruling in righteousness, and chiefs will give right decisions.
Kpɔ ɖa, fia aɖe aɖu fia le dzɔdzɔenyenye me, eye eƒe dumegãwo aɖu dzi le nuteƒewɔwɔ me.
2 And a man will be as a safe place from the wind, and a cover from the storm; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shade of a great rock in a waste land.
Ame ɖe sia ɖe anɔ abe bebeƒe le yaƒoƒo nu kple sitsoƒe le ahom me ene. Anɔ abe tɔsisiwo le gbegbe kple agakpe ƒe vɔvɔli le kuɖiɖinyigba dzi ene.
3 And the eyes of those who see will not be shut, and those who have hearing will give ear to the word.
Ekema ame siwo kpɔa nu la ƒe ŋkuwo maganye tre o, eye ame siwo ƒe to sea nu la ƒe towo anɔ ʋuʋu.
4 The man of sudden impulses will become wise in heart, and he whose tongue is slow will get the power of talking clearly.
Ame mabutamewo ƒe susu anya nu, ase nu gɔme, eye ame siwo kukɔna la ƒe aɖe aƒo nu tẽe eme nakɔ.
5 The foolish man will no longer be named noble, and they will not say of the false man that he is a man of honour.
Womagayɔ bometsilawo be bubumewo, eye womagayɔ yakamewo be ame ŋkutawo o,
6 For the foolish man will say foolish things, having evil thoughts in his heart, working what is unclean, and talking falsely about the Lord, to keep food from him who is in need of it, and water from him whose soul is desiring it.
elabena bometsila gblɔa bometsinya, eye eƒe susu yɔ fũu kple nu vɔ̃ɖi. Enɔa agbe le Mawu mavɔmavɔ me, eye wògblɔa nya tatrawo ɖe Yehowa ŋu, menaa nuɖuɖu dɔwuitɔwo o, eye wotea tsi tsikɔwuitɔwo.
7 The designs of the false are evil, purposing the destruction of the poor man by false words, even when he is in the right.
Yakamewo ƒe wɔnawo vɔ̃ɖi. Woɖoa nu vɔ̃ɖiwo be woatsrɔ̃ hiãtɔwo kple alakpa, ne hiãtɔwo ƒe nya dzɔ hã.
8 But the noble-hearted man has noble purposes, and by these he will be guided.
Ke bubume wɔa ɖoɖo siwo ŋu bubu le la, eye bubunuwɔnawo nana wònɔa te.
9 Give ear to my voice, you women who are living in comfort; give attention to my words, you daughters who have no fear of danger.
Mi nyɔnu siwo ɖe dzi ɖi bɔkɔɔ, mitso ne miaɖo tom. Mi vinyɔnuvi siwo le dziɖeɖi me. Miɖo to nya si magblɔ!
10 In not much more than a year, you, who are not looking for evil, will be troubled: for the produce of the vine-gardens will be cut off, and there will be no getting in of the grapes.
Le ƒe ɖeka kple edzivɔ siwo gbɔna me la, mi ame siwo ɖe dzi ɖi bɔkɔɔ la miaʋuʋu. Miaƒe wainkawo agbe tsetse, eye atikutsetse bubuwo hã matse na mi o.
11 Be shaking with fear, you women who are living in comfort; be troubled, you who have no fear of danger: take off your robes and put on clothing of grief.
Miʋuʋu, mi nyɔnu siwo ɖe dzi ɖi bɔkɔɔ; mixa nu, mi vinyɔnuvi siwo ɖe dzi ɖi! Miɖe miaƒe avɔwo da ɖi, eye miasa akpanya ɖe ali.
12 Have sorrow for the fields, the pleasing fields, the fertile vine;
Mifa konyi na miaƒe agble wɔnukuwo, na miaƒe wainkpo siwo tsena nyuie,
13 And for the land of my people, where thorns will come up; even for all the houses of joy in the glad town.
eye na nye amewo ƒe anyigba, anyigba si dzi ŋu kple aŋɔkawo mie ɖo. Ɛ̃, mifa na aƒe siwo katã me dzidzɔkpɔkpɔ yia edzi le kple du sia, si me wotua aglo le
14 For the fair houses will have no man living in them; the town which was full of noise will become a waste; the hill and the watchtower will be unpeopled for ever, a joy for the asses of the woods, a place of food for the flocks;
Mɔ sesẽwo aɖi gbɔlo. Du si me hoowɔwɔ nɔ la, azu aƒedo. Xɔ tsralawo kple gbetakpɔxɔwo azu abe agado ene tegbetegbe anye dzidzɔ na tedziwo kple gbeɖuƒe na lãhawo
15 Till the spirit comes on us from on high, and the waste land becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field is changed into a wood.
va se ɖe esime woakɔ Gbɔgbɔ la ɖe mia dzi tso dziƒo, gbegbewo nagazu agbledeƒewo, eye agbledeƒewo nadze abe ave ene.
16 Then in the waste land there will be an upright rule, and righteousness will have its place in the fertile field.
Nuteƒewɔwɔ anɔ gbegbe, eye dzɔdzɔenyenye anɔ agbledenyigba dzi.
17 And the work of righteousness will be peace; and the effect of an upright rule will be to take away fear for ever.
Dzɔdzɔenyenye ƒe ku anye ŋutifafa, eye dzɔdzɔenyenye ƒe metsonu anye tomefafa kple dzideƒo tegbetegbe.
18 And my people will be living in peace, in houses where there is no fear, and in quiet resting-places.
Nye amewo anɔ teƒe siwo ŋutifafa le kple aƒe siwo me dedinɔnɔ le kple teƒe siwo tomefafa kple dziɖeɖi le.
19 But the tall trees will come down with a great fall, and the town will be low in a low place.
Togbɔ be kpetsiwo tsrɔ̃ avewo, eye wogbã du la gudugudu hã la,
20 Happy are you who are planting seed by all the waters, and sending out the ox and the ass.
woayra mi ne mieƒã nu ɖe tɔʋu ɖe sia ɖe to, eye miena miaƒe nyiwo kple tedziwo ɖu gbe le ablɔɖe me.
