Ezekiel 2

1 And he said to me, Son of man, get up on your feet, so that I may say words to you.

उहाँले मलाई भन्‍नुभयो, “ए मानिसको छोरो, आफ्‍ना गोडामा खडा हो । तब म तँसित कुरा गर्नेछु ।”

2 And at his words the spirit came into me and put me on my feet; and his voice came to my ears.

तब उहाँ मसित बोल्‍नुहुँदा, तब मभित्र आत्‍मा प्रवेश गर्नुभयो र मलाई आफ्‍ना खुट्टामा खडा गराउनुभयो, र उहाँले मसित कुरा बोलिरहनुभएको मैले सुनें ।

3 And he said to me, Son of man, I am sending you to the children of Israel, to an uncontrolled nation which has gone against me: they and their fathers have been sinners against me even to this very day.

उहाँले मलाई भन्‍नुभयो, “ए मानिसको छोरो, तँलाई म इस्राएलका मानिसहरूकहाँ पठाउँदैछु, एउटा विद्रोही जातिकहाँ, जसले मेरो विरुद्धमा विद्रोह गरेको छ—तिनीहरू र तिनीहरूका पुर्खाहरू दुवैले आजको दिनसम्‍मै मेरो विरुद्धमा पाप गरेका छन् ।

4 And the children are hard and stiff-hearted; I am sending you to them: and you are to say to them, These are the words of the Lord.

तिनका सन्तानहरूका हठी अनुहारहरू र कठोर हृदयहरू छन् । तँलाई म तिनीहरूकहाँ पठाउँदैछु, र तैंले तिनीहरूलाई भन्‍नेछस्, 'परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छ ।'

5 And they, if they give ear to you or if they do not give ear (for they are an uncontrolled people), will see that there has been a prophet among them.

तिनीहरूले सुन्‍नेछन् वा सुन्‍नेछैनन् । तिनीहरू विद्रोही घराना हुन्, तर तिनीहरूले कमसेकम आफ्‍ना बिचमा एक जना अगमवक्ता छन्‌ भनी जान्‍नेछन्‌ ।

6 And you, son of man, have no fear of them or of their words, even if sharp thorns are round you and you are living among scorpions: have no fear of their words and do not be overcome by their looks, for they are an uncontrolled people.

ए मानिसको छोरो, तँचाहिं तिनीहरूदेखि अथवा तिनीहरूका कुरादेखि नडरा । तँ सिउँडी र काँढा भए, अथवा तँ बिच्‍छीहरूका बिचमा बसे तापनि तँ नडरा । तिनीहरूका वचनहरूदेखि नडरा वा तिनीहरूका अनुहारहरूदेखि भयभीत नहो, किनकि तिनीहरू विद्रोही घराना हुन्‌ ।

7 And you are to give them my words, if they give ear to you or if they do not: for they are uncontrolled.

तर तिनीहरूले सुनुन् वा नसुनुन् तिनीहरूलाई मेरो वचन तैंले बोल्‍नेछस्, किनकि तिनीहरू ज्‍यादै विद्रोही छन् ।

8 But you, son of man, give ear to what I say to you, and do not be uncontrolled like that uncontrolled people: let your mouth be open and take what I give you.

तर ए मानिसको छोरो, मैले तँलाई भनिरहेको कुरा सुन् । त्‍यो विद्रोही घरानाझैं तँ विद्रोही नहो । तेरो मुख खोल्, र मैले तँलाई जे दिन गइरहेको छु त्यो खा!”

9 And looking, I saw a hand stretched out to me, and I saw the roll of a book in it;

तब मैले हेरें, र एउटा हात मतिर पसारिएको थियो । त्‍यसमा एउटा लेखिएको मुट्ठो थियो ।

10 And he put it open before me, and it had writing on the front and on the back; words of grief and sorrow and trouble were recorded in it.

उहाँले त्यसलाई मेरै सामु फिंजाउनुभयो । त्‍यसको अगाडि र पछाडि दुवैतिर लेखिएको थियो, र त्‍यसमा शोक, विलाप र विपत्तिका कुरा लेखिएका थिए ।
