Exodus 40
1 And the Lord said to Moses,
Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:
2 On the first day of the first month you are to put up the House of the Tent of meeting.
Am Tage des ersten Monats, am ersten des Monats sollst du die Wohnung des Versammlungszeltes aufrichten,
3 And inside it put the ark of the law, hanging the veil before it.
Und darein die Lade des Zeugnisses setzen, und über die Lade den Vorhang dekken.
4 And put the table inside, placing all the things on it in order; and put in the support for the lights, and let its lights be burning.
Und den Tisch hereinbringen, und anordnen seine Anordnung: und sollst den Leuchter hereinbringen und seine Lampen aufstecken;
5 And put the gold altar for burning perfumes in front of the ark of the law, hanging the curtain over the doorway of the House.
Und den goldenen Räuchaltar vor die Lade des Zeugnisses stellen, und den Vorhang des Eingangs an die Wohnung setzen;
6 And put the altar of burned offerings before the doorway of the House of the Tent of meeting.
Und den Brandopferaltar vor den Eingang zur Wohnung des Versammlungszeltes setzen;
7 And let the washing-vessel, with water in it, be put between the Tent of meeting and the altar.
Und das Becken zwischen das Versammlungszelt und zwischen den Altar stellen und Wasser darein tun.
8 And put up the hangings forming the open space all round it, with the curtain over its doorway.
Und setze den Vorhof ringsum, und tue die Decke an das Tor des Vorhofs.
9 And take the holy oil and put it on the House and everything in it, and make it and everything in it holy:
Und nimm das Salböl und salbe die Wohnung und alles, was in ihr ist, und heilige sie und all ihr Gerät, und sie sei ein Heiligtum.
10 And put oil on the altar of burned offering, and make it and all its vessels holy; this altar is to be most holy.
Und du sollst den Brandopferaltar salben und alle seine Geräte, und den Altar heiligen, auf daß der Altar allerheiligst sei.
11 And put oil on the washing-vessel and its base, and make them holy.
Und du sollst das Becken und sein Gestell salben und es heiligen.
12 Then let Aaron and his sons come to the door of the Tent of meeting; and after washing them with water,
Und laß Aharon und seine Söhne sich nahen dem Eingang des Versammlungszeltes, und wasche sie mit dem Wasser;
13 You are to put on Aaron the holy robes; and you are to put oil on him, and make him holy, so that he may be my priest.
Und ziehe dem Aharon die heiligen Kleider an und salbe ihn und heilige ihn, auf daß er Mir Priesterdienst tue.
14 And take his sons with him and put coats on them;
Und laß seine Söhne sich nahen, und ziehe ihnen die Leibröcke an;
15 And put oil on them as you did on their father, so that they may be my priests: the putting on of oil will make them priests for ever, from generation to generation.
Und salbe sie, wie du ihren Vater gesalbt hast, daß sie Mir Priesterdienst tun, und es soll ihnen ihre Salbung zu ewigem Priestertum werden in ihren Geschlechtern.
16 And Moses did this; as the Lord gave him orders, so he did.
Und Mose tat nach allem, das ihm Jehovah geboten hatte; also tat er.
17 So on the first day of the first month in the second year the House was put up.
Und es geschah im ersten Monat im zweiten Jahr, am ersten des Monats, daß die Wohnung aufgerichtet wurde.
18 Moses put up the House; placing its bases in position and lifting up its uprights, putting in the rods and planting the pillars in their places;
Und Mose richtete die Wohnung auf, und er setzte ihre Untersätze und stellte ihre Bretter, und tat ihre Riegel daran und richtete ihre Säulen auf.
19 Stretching the outer tent over it, and covering it, as the Lord had given him orders.
Und er breitete das Zelt aus über die Wohnung, und legte die Decke des Zeltes oben darüber, wie Jehovah dem Mose geboten hatte.
20 And he took the law and put it inside the ark, and put the rods at its side and the cover over it;
Und er nahm das Zeugnis und tat es in die Lade, und legte die Stangen an die Lade und setzte den Gnadenstuhl oben auf die Lade;
21 And he took the ark into the House, hanging up the veil before it as the Lord had given him orders.
Und brachte die Lade in die Wohnung, und tat den Vorhang der Decke davor und bedeckte die Lade des Zeugnisses, wie Jehovah Mose geboten hatte.
22 And he put the table in the Tent of meeting, on the north side outside the veil.
Und den Tisch stellte er in das Versammlungszelt an die Seite der Wohnung gegen Mitternacht außerhalb des Vorhangs;
23 And he put the bread on it in order before the Lord, as the Lord had said.
Und ordnete darauf die Anordnung des Brotes vor Jehovah, wie Jehovah dem Mose geboten hatte.
24 The support for the lights he put in the Tent of meeting, opposite the table, on the south side:
Und den Leuchter stellte er in das Versammlungszelt gerade gegenüber dem Tisch zur Seite der Wohnung gegen Mittag;
25 Lighting the lights before the Lord, as the Lord had given him orders.
Und steckte die Lampen auf vor Jehovah, wie dem Mose Jehovah geboten hatte.
26 And he put the gold altar in the Tent of meeting, in front of the veil:
Und den goldenen Altar setzte er in das Versammlungszelt vor den Vorhang;
27 Burning sweet perfumes on it, as the Lord had given him orders.
Und räucherte darauf mit dem Räuchwerk der Spezereien, wie Jehovah dem Mose geboten hatte.
28 And he put up the curtain at the doorway of the House.
Und vor den Eingang zur Wohnung tat er die Decke.
29 And at the door of the House of the Tent of meeting, he put the altar of burned offerings, offering on it the burned offering and the meal offering, as the Lord had given him orders.
Und den Brandopferaltar setzte er an den Eingang zur Wohnung des Versammlungszeltes, und ließ darauf das Brandopfer und das Speiseopfer aufgehen, wie Jehovah dem Mose geboten hatte.
30 And between the altar and the Tent of meeting he put the vessel with water in it for washing.
Und das Becken setzte er zwischen das Versammlungszelt und zwischen den Altar und tat Wasser darein zum Waschen.
31 In it the hands and feet of Moses and Aaron and his sons were washed,
Und Mose und Aharon und seine Söhne wuschen sich ihre Hände und ihre Füße daraus.
32 Whenever they went into the Tent of meeting, and when they came near the altar, as the Lord had given orders to Moses.
Wenn sie in das Versammlungszelt eingingen und dem Altare nahten, wuschen sie sich, wie Jehovah dem Mose geboten hatte.
33 And he put up the hangings forming the open space round the House and the altar, and put the curtain over the doorway. So Moses made the work complete.
Und er richtete rings um die Wohnung und den Altar den Vorhof auf und in das Tor des Vorhofs tat er die Decke; und Mose vollendete das Werk.
34 Then the cloud came down covering the Tent of meeting, and the House was full of the glory of the Lord;
Und die Wolke bedeckte das Versammlungszelt, und die Herrlichkeit Jehovahs füllte die Wohnung.
35 So that Moses was not able to go into the Tent of meeting, because the cloud was resting on it, and the House was full of the glory of the Lord.
Und Mose vermochte nicht in das Versammlungszelt einzugehen; denn die Wolke lagerte darauf, und die Herrlichkeit Jehovahs füllte die Wohnung.
36 And whenever the cloud was taken up from the House, the children of Israel went forward on their journey:
Und wenn die Wolke aufstieg von der Wohnung, brachen die Söhne Israels auf allen ihren Zügen auf.
37 But while the cloud was there, they made no move till it was taken up.
Und wenn die Wolke nicht aufstieg, so brachen sie nicht auf, bis zu dem Tage, da sie aufstieg.
38 For the cloud of the Lord was resting on the House by day, and at night there was fire in the cloud, before the eyes of all the people of Israel, and so it was through all their journeys.
Denn bei Tag war die Wolke Jehovahs über der Wohnung, und bei Nacht war Feuer darin vor den Augen des ganzen Hauses Israel auf allen ihren Zügen.
