< Acts 13 >

1 Now there were at Antioch, in the church there, prophets and teachers, Barnabas, and Symeon who was named Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, a relation of Herod the king, and Saul.
Mu dibundu di Antioshi muba mimbikudi ayi minlongi mi Mina; muna muba Balinabasi, Simewoni mutu baba ntedilanga “Ningeli” bu dinsundula: “Ndombi”, Lusuisi muisi Silene, Manayeni mutu wuyunduka va kimosi ayi ntinu Elode ayi Sawuli.
2 And while they were doing the Lord's work, and going without food, the Holy Spirit said, Let Barnabas and Saul be given to me for the special work for which they have been marked out by me.
Bu baba sadila Pfumu ayi kukifuisa nzala mu diambu di lusambulu, Pheve Yinlongo yituba: —Luphengumunina Balinabasi ayi Sawuli mu diambu di kisalu kioki ndiba tedila!
3 Then, after prayer and going without food they put their hands on them, and sent them away.
Diawu bu bamana kukifuisa nzala mu diambu di lusambulu ayi bu bamana sambila, baba tetika mioko ayi baba bika benda.
4 So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia; and from there they went by ship to Cyprus.
Mu lutumunu lu Pheve Yinlongo, Balinabasi ayi Sawuli bayenda ku Selesi. Kuna babakila masuwa mu kuenda ku Sipeli.
5 And at Salamis they were preaching the word of God in the Synagogues of the Jews: and John was with them, helping them.
Bu batula ku Salamine, balonga mambu ma Nzambi mu zinzo zi zikhutukunu zi Bayuda. Yowani wuba kuba sadisanga.
6 And when they had gone through all the island to Paphos, they came across a certain wonder-worker and false prophet, a Jew whose name was Bar-Jesus;
Bu basabuka sanga kioso nate ku Pafosi, badengana Nyuda wumosi wuba nsadilanga mazi, dizina diandi Bali-Yesu, wuba mbikudi wu luvunu.
7 Who was with the ruler, Sergius Paulus, an able man. This man sent for Barnabas and Saul, desiring to have knowledge of the word of God.
Bali-Yesu wuba vuandanga va kimosi ayi Selingiusi Pawulusi, nyadi wu sanga, wuba mutu wu diela. Niandi wutumisa Balinabasi ayi Sawuli bila wuzola wa mambu ma Nzambi.
8 But Elymas, the wonder-worker (for that is the sense of his name), put himself against them, with the purpose of turning the ruler from the faith.
Vayi Elimasi nkua mazi (yawu tsundu yi dizina diandi), wuba kakidila ayi wutomba bu zimbikisa minu ki Nyadi.
9 But Saul, whose other name is Paul, being full of the Holy Spirit, looking hard at him, said,
Bosi Sawuli baba tedilanga diaka Polo bu kaba wuwala mu Pheve Yinlongo, wusungimina tala nkua mazi bosi wunkamba:
10 O you, who are full of false tricks and evil ways, a son of the Evil One, hating all righteousness, will you for ever be turning people from the right ways of the Lord?
—A ngeyo mutu wuwala luvunu ayi mutu wu mambu mambimbi, muana wu Satana mbeni yi mambu masonga, wulendi vonga ko mu vondanga zinzila zilulama zi Pfumu e?
11 And now, see, the hand of the Lord is on you, and you will be blind and not able to see the sun for a time. And straight away a dark mist came down on him; and he went about looking for a guide.
Vayi tala buabu koko ku Nzambi kueka kuvana thumbudulu; weka kituka phofo; wulendi buela mona ko muini mu ndambu bilumbu! Vana vawu weka mona mbungi ayi tombi mu meso, wubaluka mu zindambu zioso, wutomba mutu wulenda kunsimba mu koko mu kuntuadisa.
12 Then the ruler, when he saw what was done, had faith, being full of wonder at the teaching of the Lord.
Nyadi beni buna kamona mambu mama mavioka, wuwilukila bilawusimina mu diambu di malongi ma Pfumu.
13 Then Paul and those who were with him went by ship from Paphos and came to Perga in Pamphylia: and there John went away from them and came back to Jerusalem.
Polo ayi bakundi bandi boso bakota mu masuwa ku Pafosi, bayenda ku Pelinge mu zunga ki Pamfili. Yowani wuvasuka yawu, wuvutuka kuandi ku Yelusalemi.
14 But they, going through from Perga, came to Antioch in Pisidia; and they went into the Synagogue on the Sabbath and were seated.
Vayi bawu bu babotuka ku Pelinge, basabuka tsi ayi batula ku Antioshi mu zunga ki Pisidi. Mu lumbu ki saba, bu bakota mu nzo lukutukunu, buna bavuanda.
15 And after the reading of the law and the prophets, the rulers of the Synagogue sent to them, saying, Brothers, if you have a word of comfort for the people, say on.
Buna bamana tanga minkanda mi Mina ayi mi mimbikudi, bapfumu zi nzo lukutukunu baba fidisila batu mu kuba kamba: —A bakhomba, enati mambu malenda kindisa batu madi yeno, buna lulenda tuba!
16 And Paul, getting up and making a sign with his hand, said, Men of Israel, and you who have the fear of God, give ear.
Polo bu katelama, wuvumbula koko kuandi ayi wutuba: —A basi Iseli ayi beno boso lueti kinzika Nzambi, bika luwa:
17 The God of this people Israel made selection of our fathers, lifting the people up from their low condition when they were living in the land of Egypt, and with a strong arm took them out of it.
Nzambi yi batu baba ba Iseli wusobula bakulu beto, wufunisa batu bu baba vuandanga mu tsi yi Ezipite ayi wuba totula mu koko kuandi ku lulendo.
18 And for about forty years he put up with their ways in the waste land.
Wuba sadisa mu makumaya ma mimvu mu dikanga.
19 And having put to destruction seven nations in the land of Canaan, he gave them the land for their heritage for about four hundred and fifty years.
Bu kamana vonda tsambudi di makanda mu tsi Kana, wuba vana mawu banga kiuka.
20 And after these things he gave them judges, till the time of Samuel the prophet.
Mambu momo bu mavioka, nate nduka-nduka zikhama ziya ayi makumatanu ma mimvu, wuba vana mazuzi nate mu thangu mbikudi Samueli.
21 Then at their request for a king, God gave them Saul, the son of Kish, a man of the family of Benjamin, who was their king for forty years.
Bosi balomba ntinu; buna Nzambi wuba vana Sawuli muana Kisi, muisi dikanda di Benyamini; niandi wuba yadila mu makumaya ma mimvu.
22 And having put him on one side, he made David their king, to whom he gave witness, saying, I have taken David, the son of Jesse, a man dear to my heart, who will do all my pleasure.
Vayi Nzambi wumvengumuna, wuba totudila Davidi mu ba ntinu, niandi Nzambi katelimina kimbangi kiaki: Ndimueni mu Davidi, muana Yese, mutu wudedakani banga ntimꞌama, wela vanga luzolo luama loso.
23 From this man's seed has God given to Israel a Saviour, even Jesus, as he gave his word;
Vayi mu nkuna Davidi Nzambi katotudila Yesu, Mvulusi mu diambu Iseli bila bobo bubela tsilꞌandi.
24 For whose coming John made ready the way by preaching to all the people of Israel the baptism which goes with a change of heart.
Tuamina ndizulu andi, Yowani wulonga batu boso malongi matedi mbotokolo bu bameni balula mavanga mawu.
25 And when John was completing his work, he said, What do I seem to you to be? I am not he; but one is coming after me, whose shoes I am not good enough to undo.
Ku tsukusunu luzingu luandi, Yowani wuba yuvula: “Kuidi beno minu ndidi nani e? Minu ama ko mutu wowo lulembo vingila vayi niandi wela kuiza ku mbusꞌama. Minu ndisi fuana ko mu nianguna minsinga mi zisapatu ziandi.”
26 My brothers, children of the family of Abraham, and those among you who have the fear of God, to us the word of this salvation is sent.
A bakhomba ziama, beno luidi mu nkuna Abalahami, kuidi beno ayi kuidi bobobeti kinzika Nzambi, luzaba ti kuidi beto kuyiza mambu mama ma phulusu.
27 For the men of Jerusalem and their rulers, having no knowledge of him, or of the sayings of the prophets which come to their ears every Sabbath day, gave effect to them by judging him.
Bila batu bakalanga ku Yelusalemi ayi bapfumu ziawu basia zaba Yesu ko, ayi basia sudika ko minkanda mi mimbikudi miba tangungu kadika lumbu ki saba. Badedikisa mambu beni bu bazengila Yesu nkanu.
28 And though no cause of death was seen in him, they made a request to Pilate that he might be put to death.
Ka diambu ko basia mona ko mu niandi kadi bila kikalenda vondolo vayi baleba Pilatu mu diambu kamvondisa.
29 And when they had done all the things said in the Writings about him, they took him down from the tree, and put him in the place of the dead.
Bu bamana dukisa mambu moso masonama mu diambu diandi, bankulula va nti ayi bantula mu ziami.
30 But God gave him back from the dead:
Vayi Nzambi wumfulukisa mu bafua!
31 And for a number of days he was seen by those who came with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now his witnesses before the people.
Bosi wukimonikisa mu bilumbu biwombo kuidi batu bobo bayenda yandi tona ku Ngalili nate ku Yelusalemi. Buabu batu beni bawu bayika bambangi bandi va meso ma batu.
32 And we are giving you the good news of the undertaking made to the fathers,
Beto, tulembo lusamunina Nsamu wumboti landila tsilayivana Nzambi kuidi bakulu beto
33 Which God has now put into effect for our children, by sending Jesus; as it says in the second Psalm, You are my Son; this day I have given you being.
ti Nzambi wudedikisidi yawu kuidi beto bana bawu bu katotula banga busonimina mu Nkunga wummuadi: Widi Muanꞌama, buabu ndibutidi.
34 And about his coming back from the dead, never again to go to destruction, he has said these words, I will give you the holy and certain mercies of David.
Muaki wumfulukisa mu bafua muingi kabika buela fua. Diawu katubila ti: Ndiela kulusakumuna mu mambu manlongo, mavedila momo ndivanina Davidi tsila.
35 Because he says in another Psalm, You will not let your Holy One see destruction.
Diawu katubila mu buangu kinkaka: Wulendi tala ko ti nitu yi mutu aku wunlongo yibola.
36 Now David, having done God's work for his generation, went to sleep, and was put with his fathers, and his body came to destruction:
Bila Davidi, bu kamana sala mu tsungi andi mu luzolo lu Nzambi, wufua ayi wuziku va buangu kimosi ayi bakulu bandi, bosi wubola.
37 But he, who was lifted up by God, did not see destruction.
Vayi mutu wowo Nzambi kafulukisa, kasia bola ko.
38 And so, let it be clear to you, my brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is offered to you:
A bakhomba; bika luzaba ti mu niandi muyizila ndemvokolo yi masumu.
39 And through him everyone who has faith is made free from all those things, from which the law of Moses was not able to make you free.
Ayi mu niandi, woso mutu wukunwilukila, wela kunnungisa mu mambu moso momo Mina mi Moyize milendi baka ko bu kulunungisila.
40 So take care that these words of the prophets do not come true for you;
Diawu, lulubuka muingi mambu matuba mimbikudi mabika kulubuila:
41 See, you doubters, have wonder and come to your end; for I will do a thing in your days to which you will not give belief, even if it is made clear to you.
Lutala beno lueti vueza Nzambi, lusimina ayi lubotuka! bila minu ndieka vanga diambu mu bilumbu bieno, luisi ba wilukila diambu beni ko enati mutu wulusamunini diawu.
42 And when they went out, they made a request that these words might be said to them again on the Sabbath after.
Bu batotuka ku nganda, baleba Polo ayi Balinabasi mu diambu di biza longi diaka mambu beni mu lumbu ki saba kinkuiza.
43 Now when the meeting was ended, a number of the Jews and of the God-fearing Gentiles who had become Jews, went after Paul and Barnabas: who put before them how important it was to keep on in the grace of God.
Lukutukunu bu lumanisa mu nzo lukutukunu; Bayuda bawombo ayi basi makanda mankaka baba sadilanga Nzambi, bobo bakikinina Kiyuda, balandakana Polo ayi Balinabasi; basolula yawu ayi baba kindisa mu tatamana mu nlemvo wu Nzambi.
44 And on the Sabbath after, almost all the town came together to give hearing to the word of God.
Mu lumbu ki saba kilanda, nduka-nduka divula dioso dikutakana mu wa mambu ma Nzambi.
45 But when the Jews saw such a great number of people, they were full of envy and said evil words against Paul's preaching.
Vayi Bayuda bu bamona nkangu wu batu, bamona kikhenene ayi bavunisa Polo mu mambu momo kaba tuba, bamvunisa ayi bavueza Nzambi.
46 Then Paul and Barnabas without fear said, It was necessary for the word of God to be given to you first; but because you will have nothing to do with it, and have no desire for eternal life, it will now be offered to the Gentiles. (aiōnios g166)
Polo ayi Balinabasi babakamba mu bukhafi boso ti: —Kuidi beno theti kufueti samununu Mambu ma Nzambi vayi sumbu lu malozidi ayi sumbu lukimonisini ti luisi bafuana ko mu baka luzingu lukalumani, tala tueka mbaluka kuidi Bapakanu. (aiōnios g166)
47 For so the Lord has given us orders, saying, I have given you for a light to the Gentiles so that you may be for salvation to the ends of the earth.
Bila Pfumu wutuvana lutumunu ti: Ndibieka mu ba kiezila kuidi Bapakanu mu diambu di nata phulusu nate ku sukisina ntoto.
48 And the Gentiles, hearing this, were glad and gave glory to the word of God: and those marked out by God for eternal life had faith. (aiōnios g166)
Bapakanu bu bawa mambu mama, bamona khini. Baniemisa mambu ma Nzambi ayi bobo bakubuku mu baka luzingu lukalumani bawilukila. (aiōnios g166)
49 And the word of the Lord went through all the country.
Mambu ma Pfumu ma tembakana mu tsi yoso.
50 But the Jews, working up the feelings of the God-fearing women of high position and of the chief men of the town, got an attack started against Paul and Barnabas, driving them out of those parts.
Vayi Bayuda bakambisila baketo bobo baba luvalu, baba sadilanga Nzambi va kimosi ayi batu ba luvalu ba divula beni; batona yamisa Polo ayi Balinabasi ayi baba kuka mu zunga kiawu.
51 But they, shaking off the dust of that place from their feet, came to Iconium.
Polo ayi Balinabasi bakukumuna mbungi-mbungi yiba mu malu mawu, bayenda ku Ikonuimi.
52 And the disciples were full of joy and of the Holy Spirit.
Muaki minlonguki miba miwala mu khini ayi mu Pheve Yinlongo.
