2 Kings 15
1 In the twenty-seventh year of the rule of Jeroboam, king of Israel, Azariah, son of Amaziah, became king of Judah.
ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା ଯାରବୀୟାମଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର ସତାଇଶ ବର୍ଷରେ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଅମତ୍ସୀୟଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଅସରୀୟ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ।
2 He was sixteen years old when he became king, and he was ruling in Jerusalem for fifty-two years; his mother's name was Jecoliah of Jerusalem.
ସେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ଷୋଳ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ହୋଇଥିଲେ; ଆଉ ସେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ବାବନ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ; ତାଙ୍କ ମାତାଙ୍କର ନାମ ଯିଖଲୀୟା, ସେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ନିବାସିନୀ ଥିଲେ।
3 And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, as his father Amaziah had done.
ପୁଣି ସେ ଆପଣା ପିତା ଅମତ୍ସୀୟଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟାନୁସାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଯଥାର୍ଥ କର୍ମ କଲେ।
4 But he did not take away the high places, and the people still went on making offerings and burning them in the high places.
ତଥାପି ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀମାନ ଦୂରୀକୃତ ହେଲା ନାହିଁ; ଲୋକମାନେ ସେସମୟରେ ହେଁ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀମାନରେ ବଳିଦାନ କଲେ ଓ ଧୂପ ଜ୍ୱଳାଇଲେ।
5 And the Lord sent disease on the king and he became a leper, and to the day of his death he was living separately in his private house. And Jotham his son was over his house, judging the people of the land.
ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କଲେ, ତହିଁରେ ସେ ଆପଣା ମରଣ ଦିନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ କୁଷ୍ଠୀ ହୋଇ ଏକ ପୃଥକ ଗୃହରେ ବାସ କଲେ। ଆଉ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋଥମ୍ ଗୃହର କର୍ତ୍ତା ହୋଇ ଦେଶସ୍ଥ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କଲେ।
6 Now the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all he did, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Judah?
ଏହି ଅସରୀୟଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟା କʼଣ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲେଖା ନାହିଁ?
7 And Azariah went to rest with his fathers and was put into the earth with his fathers in the town of David; and Jotham his son became king in his place.
ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଅସରୀୟ ମୃତ୍ୟୁବରଣ କଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦାଉଦ-ନଗରରେ ତାଙ୍କର ପିତୃଗଣ ସହିତ କବର ଦେଲେ; ତହୁଁ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋଥମ୍ ତାଙ୍କର ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।
8 In the thirty-eighth year of Azaliah, king of Judah, Zechariah, son of Jeroboam, was king over Israel for six months.
ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଅସରୀୟଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର ଅଠତିରିଶି ବର୍ଷରେ ଯାରବୀୟାମଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଜିଖରୀୟ ଶମରୀୟାରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ଛଅ ମାସ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।
9 And he did evil in the eyes of the Lord, as his father had done, not turning away from the sin which Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, did and made Israel do.
ପୁଣି ସେ ଆପଣା ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ କୁକର୍ମ କଲେ; ନବାଟର ପୁତ୍ର ଯାରବୀୟାମ ଯଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ପାପ କରାଇଥିଲେ, ତାଙ୍କର ସେହି ସମସ୍ତ ପାପରୁ ସେ ବିମୁଖ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ।
10 And Shallum, the son of Jabesh, made a secret design against him, and, attacking him in Ibleam, put him to death and became king in his place.
ଆଉ ଯାବେଶଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଶଲ୍ଲୁମ୍ ତାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଚକ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରି ଓ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କରି ବଧ କଲେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।
11 Now the rest of the acts of Zechariah are recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Israel.
ଏହି ଜିଖରୀୟଙ୍କ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲିଖିତ ଅଛି।
12 This was what the Lord had said to Jehu, Your sons to the fourth generation will be kings of Israel. And so it came about.
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେହୂଙ୍କୁ ଏହି କଥା କହିଥିଲେ, ଯଥା, “ତୁମ୍ଭ ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ଚତୁର୍ଥ ପୁରୁଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସିଂହାସନରେ ଉପବିଷ୍ଟ ହେବେ।” ଆଉ ସେହିପରି ହେଲା।
13 Shallum, the son of Jabesh, became king in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah, king of Judah; and he was ruling in Samaria for the space of one month.
ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଉଷୀୟଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର ଅଣଚାଳିଶ ବର୍ଷରେ ଯାବେଶଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଶଲ୍ଲୁମ୍ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ; ଆଉ ସେ ଶମରୀୟାରେ ଏକ ମାସ କାଳ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।
14 Then Menahem, the son of Gadi, went up from Tirzah and came to Samaria, and attacking Shallum, son of Jabesh, in Samaria, put him to death and made himself king in his place.
ଆଉ ଗାଦିର ପୁତ୍ର ମନହେମ୍ ତିର୍ସାରୁ ଯାଇ ଶମରୀୟାରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ ଓ ଯାବେଶଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଶଲ୍ଲୁମ୍ଙ୍କୁ ଶମରୀୟାରେ ଆଘାତ କରି ବଧ କଲେ, ପୁଣି ତାଙ୍କ ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।
15 Now the rest of the acts of Shallum, and the secret design which he made, are recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Israel.
ଏହି ଶଲ୍ଲୁମ୍ଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର କୃତ ଚକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲିଖିତ ଅଛି।
16 Then Menahem sent destruction on Tappuah and all the people in it, and its limits, from Tirzah, because they would not let him come in; and he had all the women who were with child cut open.
ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମନହେମ୍ ତିର୍ସାଠାରୁ, ତିପ୍ସହ ଓ ତନ୍ମଧ୍ୟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ, ପୁଣି ତିପ୍ସହର ସମସ୍ତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳକୁ ଆଘାତ କଲେ। ଲୋକମାନେ ତାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ନଗର ମୁକ୍ତ ନ କରିବାରୁ ସେ ତାହା ଆଘାତ କଲେ; ପୁଣି ତନ୍ମଧ୍ୟବର୍ତ୍ତିନୀ ଗର୍ଭବତୀ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ଉଦର ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲେ।
17 In the thirty-ninth year of Azariah, king of Judah, Menahem, the son of Gadi, became king over Israel, and was ruling in Samaria for ten years.
ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଅସରୀୟଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର ଅଣଚାଳିଶ ବର୍ଷରେ ଗାଦିର ପୁତ୍ର ମନହେମ୍ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ଶମରୀୟାରେ ଦଶ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।
18 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord; he did not keep himself from the sin which Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, did and made Israel do.
ପୁଣି ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ କୁକର୍ମ କଲେ; ନବାଟର ପୁତ୍ର ଯାରବୀୟାମ ଯଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ପାପ କରାଇଥିଲେ, ତାଙ୍କର ସେହି ସମସ୍ତ ପାପରୁ ସେ ଆପଣାର ଯାବଜ୍ଜୀବନ ବିମୁଖ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ।
19 In his day, Pul, the king of Assyria, came up against the land; and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver so that he might let him keep the kingdom.
ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ପୂଲ୍ ଦେଶର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆସନ୍ତେ, ମନହେମ୍ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଦୃଢ଼ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଯେପରି ପୂଲ୍ର ହସ୍ତ ତାଙ୍କର ସହାୟ ହେବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସେ ତାହାକୁ ଏକ ସହସ୍ର ତାଳନ୍ତ ରୂପା ଦେଲେ।
20 And Menahem got the money from Israel, from all the men of wealth, fifty silver shekels from every man, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria went back without stopping in the land.
ପୁଣି ମନହେମ୍ ଏହି ମୁଦ୍ରା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଆଦାୟ କଲେ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଅଶୂରର ରାଜାକୁ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ସମଗ୍ର ଧନଶାଳୀ ଲୋକଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିଜଣଠାରୁ ପଚାଶ ଶେକଲ ଲେଖାଏଁ ରୂପା ନେଲେ, ତହିଁରେ ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ଫେରିଗଲା ଓ ଦେଶର ସେସ୍ଥାନରେ ରହିଲା ନାହିଁ।
21 Now the rest of the acts of Menahem, and all he did, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Israel?
ଏହି ମନହେମ୍ଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟା କʼଣ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲେଖା ନାହିଁ?
22 And Menahem went to rest with his fathers; and Pekahiah his son became king in his place.
ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମନହେମ୍ ମୃତ୍ୟୁବରଣ କଲେ; ତହୁଁ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ପକହୀୟ ତାଙ୍କ ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।
23 In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekahiah, the son of Menahem, became king over Israel in Samaria, ruling for two years.
ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଅସରୀୟଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର ପଚାଶ ବର୍ଷରେ ମନହେମ୍ଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ପକହୀୟ ଶମରୀୟାରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ଦୁଇ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।
24 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, not turning from the sin which Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, did and made Israel do.
ପୁଣି ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ କୁକର୍ମ କଲେ; ନବାଟର ପୁତ୍ର ଯାରବୀୟାମ ଯଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ପାପ କରାଇଥିଲେ, ତାଙ୍କର ସେହି ସମସ୍ତ ପାପରୁ ସେ ବିମୁଖ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ।
25 And Pekah, the son of Remaliah, his captain, made a secret design against him, attacking him in the king's great house in Samaria; and with him were fifty men of Gilead; and he put him to death and became king in his place.
ଆଉ ରମଲୀୟଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ପେକହ ନାମକ ତାଙ୍କର ସେନାପତି ତାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଚକ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରି ତାଙ୍କୁ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଅର୍ଗୋବ ଓ ଅରୀୟିକୁ ଶମରୀୟାସ୍ଥ ରାଜଗୃହର ଦୁର୍ଗରେ ଆଘାତ କଲେ। ପୁଣି ତାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ପଚାଶ ଜଣ ଗିଲୀୟଦୀୟ ଲୋକ ଥିଲେ; ଆଉ ସେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରି ତାଙ୍କ ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।
26 Now the rest of the acts of Pekahiah, and all he did, are recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Israel.
ଏହି ପକହୀୟଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲିଖିତ ଅଛି।
27 In the fifty-second year of Azariah, king of Judah, Pekah, the son of Remaliah, became king over Israel in Samaria, ruling for twenty years.
ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଅସରୀୟଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର ବାବନ ବର୍ଷରେ ରମଲୀୟଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ପେକହ ଶମରୀୟାରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।
28 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, not turning from the sin which Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, did and made Israel do.
ପୁଣି ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ କୁକର୍ମ କଲେ; ନବାଟର ପୁତ୍ର ଯାରବୀୟାମ ଯଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ପାପ କରାଇଥିଲେ, ତାଙ୍କର ସେହି ସବୁ ପାପରୁ ସେ ବିମୁଖ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ।
29 In the days of Pekah, king of Israel, Tiglath-pileser, king of Assyria, came and took Ijon and Abel-beth-maacah and Janoah and Kedesh and Hazor and Gilead and Galilee and all the land of Naphtali; and he took the people away to Assyria.
ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା ପେକହଙ୍କର ସମୟରେ ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ତିଗ୍ଲାତ୍-ପିଲେସର୍ ଆସି ଇୟୋନ୍ ଓ ଆବେଲ୍-ବେଥ୍-ମାଖା ଓ ଯାନୋହ ଓ କେଦଶ ଓ ହାସୋର ଓ ଗିଲୀୟଦ ଓ ଗାଲିଲୀ ଓ ସମୁଦାୟ ନପ୍ତାଲି ଦେଶ ହସ୍ତଗତ କଲା; ଆଉ ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ଅଶୂରକୁ ନେଇଗଲା।
30 And Hoshea, the son of Elah, made a secret design against Pekah, the son of Remaliah, and, attacking him, put him to death and became king in his place, in the twentieth year of Jotham, the son of Uzziah.
ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଏଲାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ହୋଶେୟ ରମଲୀୟଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ପେକହଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଚକ୍ରାନ୍ତ କଲେ ଓ ସେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କରି ବଧ କଲେ, ପୁଣି ଉଷୀୟଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋଥମ୍ଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରେ ସେ ପେକହଙ୍କ ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।
31 Now the rest of the acts of Pekah, and all he did, are recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Israel.
ଏହି ପେକହଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କର ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲିଖିତ ଅଛି।
32 In the second year of Pekah, the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, Jotham, the son of Uzziah, became king of Judah.
ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା ରମଲୀୟଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ପେକହଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ବର୍ଷରେ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଉଷୀୟଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋଥମ୍ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ।
33 He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he was ruling for sixteen years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.
ସେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ପଚିଶ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ହୋଇଥିଲେ ଓ ସେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ଷୋଳ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ। ଆଉ ତାଙ୍କ ମାତାଙ୍କର ନାମ ଯିରୁଶା, ସେ ସାଦୋକର କନ୍ୟା ଥିଲେ।
34 And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, as his father Uzziah had done.
ଯୋଥମ୍ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଯଥାର୍ଥ କର୍ମ କଲେ; ସେ ଆପଣା ପିତା ଉଷୀୟଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟାନୁସାରେ କର୍ମ କଲେ।
35 But he did not take away the high places, and the people still went on making offerings and burning them in the high places. He was the builder of the higher doorway of the house of the Lord.
ତଥାପି ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀମାନ ଦୂରୀକୃତ ହେଲା ନାହିଁ; ଲୋକମାନେ ସେସମୟରେ ହେଁ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀମାନରେ ବଳିଦାନ କଲେ ଓ ଧୂପ ଜ୍ୱଳାଇଲେ। ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହର ଉପର ଦ୍ୱାର ଦୃଢ଼ କଲେ।
36 Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all he did, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Judah?
ଏହି ଯୋଥମ୍ଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟା କʼଣ ଯିହୁଦା ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲେଖା ନାହିଁ?
37 In those days the Lord first sent against Judah, Rezin, the king of Aram, and Pekah, the son of Remaliah.
ସେସମୟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅରାମର ରାଜା ରତ୍ସୀନକୁ ଓ ରମଲୀୟଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ପେକହଙ୍କୁ ଯିହୁଦା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପଠାଇବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ।
38 And Jotham went to rest with his fathers, and was put into the earth in the town of David his father; and Ahaz his son became king in his place.
ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯୋଥମ୍ ମୃତ୍ୟୁବରଣ କଲେ ଓ ଆପଣା ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ନଗରରେ ଆପଣା ପିତୃଗଣ ସହିତ କବରପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲେ; ତହୁଁ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଆହସ୍ ତାଙ୍କର ପଦରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କଲେ।
