1 Chronicles 26
1 For the divisions of the door-keepers: of the Korahites, Meshelemiah, the son of Kore, of the sons of Ebiasaph.
Περί δε των διαιρέσεων των πυλωρών· εκ των Κοριτών ήτο Μεσελεμίας ο υιός του Κορέ, εκ των υιών Ασάφ.
2 And Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the oldest, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,
Και οι υιοί του Μεσελεμία ήσαν Ζαχαρίας ο πρωτότοκος, Ιεδιαήλ ο δεύτερος, Ζεβαδίας ο τρίτος, Ιαθνιήλ ο τέταρτος,
3 Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.
Ελάμ ο πέμπτος, Ιωανάν ο έκτος, Ελιωηνάϊ ο έβδομος.
4 And Obed-edom had sons: Shemaiah the oldest, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth,
οι δε υιοί του Ωβήδ-εδώμ, Σεμαΐας ο πρωτότοκος, Ιωζαβάδ ο δεύτερος, Ιωάχ ο τρίτος και Σαχάρ ο τέταρτος και Ναθαναήλ ο πέμπτος,
5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth; for the blessing of God was on him.
Αμμιήλ ο έκτος, Ισσάχαρ ο έβδομος, Φεουλθαΐ ο όγδοος· διότι ο Θεός ευλόγησεν αυτόν.
6 And Shemaiah his son had sons, rulers over the family of their father, for they were able men.
Και εις Σεμαΐαν τον υιόν αυτού εγεννήθησαν υιοί, οίτινες εξουσίαζον επί του πατρικού οίκου αυτών· διότι ήσαν δυνατοί εν ισχύϊ.
7 The sons of Shemaiah: Othni and Rephael and Obed, Elzabad, whose brothers were great men of war, Elihu and Semachiah.
Οι υιοί του Σεμαΐα, Γοθνί και Ραφαήλ και Ωβήδ και Ελζαβάδ, των οποίων οι αδελφοί ήσαν ισχυροί, ο Ελιού, και ο Σεμαχίας.
8 All these were sons of Obed-edom: they and their sons and their brothers, able men and strong for the work; sixty-two sons of Obed-edom.
Πάντες ούτοι εκ των υιών του Ωβήδ-εδώμ, αυτοί και οι υιοί αυτών και οι αδελφοί αυτών, ισχυροί και άξιοι διά την υπηρεσίαν, εξήκοντα δύο ήσαν του Ωβήδ-εδώμ.
9 Meshelemiah had sons and brothers, eighteen able men.
Και ο Μεσελεμίας είχεν υιούς και αδελφούς, ισχυρούς, δεκαοκτώ.
10 And Hosah, a son of the children of Merari, had sons: Shimri the chief (for though he was not the oldest, his father made him chief);
Και ο Ωσά, εκ των υιών του Μεραρί, είχεν υιούς· Σιμρί τον πρώτον, διότι πρωτότοκος δεν ήτο, ο πατήρ όμως αυτού έκαμεν αυτόν πρώτον·
11 Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: Hosah had thirteen sons and brothers.
Χελκίαν τον δεύτερον, Τεβαλίαν τον τρίτον, Ζαχαρίαν τον τέταρτον· πάντες οι υιοί και οι αδελφοί του Ωσά ήσαν δεκατρείς.
12 Of these were the divisions of the door-keepers, men of authority, having responsible positions like their brothers to be servants in the house of the Lord.
Μεταξύ αυτών έγειναν αι διαιρέσεις των πυλωρών· οι αρχηγοί των δυνατών είχον τας φυλακάς εξ ίσου με τους αδελφούς αυτών, διά να υπηρετώσιν εν τω οίκω του Κυρίου.
13 And the families were taken by the decision of the Lord for every door; the small family had the same chance as the great.
Και έρριψαν κλήρους εξ ίσου ο μικρός καθώς και ο μεγάλος, κατ' οίκον των πατέρων αυτών, περί εκάστης πύλης.
14 And the care of the door on the east came out for Shelemiah. Then the name of Zechariah his son, a man wise in discussion, came out, and the door on the north was given to him.
Και έπεσεν ο κλήρος της προς ανατολάς εις τον Σελεμίαν. Τότε έρριψαν κλήρους διά τον Ζαχαρίαν τον υιόν αυτού, σύμβουλον σοφόν· και ο κλήρος αυτού εξήλθε διά την προς βορράν.
15 To Obed-edom, that on the south; and to his sons, the store-house.
Εις τον Ωβήδ-εδώμ, διά την προς νότον· και εις τους υιούς αυτού, διά τον οίκον της συνάξεως.
16 To Hosah, the door on the west, by the door of Shallecheth, at the footway which goes up, watch by watch.
Εις τον Σουφίμ και Ωσά, διά την προς δυσμάς, μετά της πύλης Σαλεχέθ, πλησίον της οδού της αναβάσεως, φυλακή απέναντι φυλακής.
17 On the east were six Levites a day, and on the north and the south four a day, and for the store-house two and two.
Κατά ανατολάς ήσαν εξ Λευΐται, προς βορράν τέσσαρες την ημέραν, προς νότον τέσσαρες την ημέραν και προς τον οίκον της συνάξεως ανά δύο.
18 For the pillared way, on the west, four at the footway and two at the pillared way itself.
Εις Παρβάρ προς δυσμάς τέσσαρες κατά την οδόν της αναβάσεως, και δύο εις Παρβάρ.
19 These were the divisions of door-keepers, of the sons of the Korahites and of the sons of Merari.
Αύται είναι αι διαιρέσεις των πυλωρών μεταξύ των υιών Κορέ και μεταξύ των υιών Μεραρί.
20 And the Levites their brothers were responsible for the stores of the house of God and the holy things.
Και εκ των Λευϊτών ο Αχιά ήτο επί τους θησαυρούς του οίκου του Θεού και επί τους θησαυρούς των αφιερωμάτων.
21 The sons of Ladan: sons of the Gershonites of the family of Ladan, heads of families of Ladan the Gershonite, Jehieli.
Περί δε των υιών του Λααδάν· οι υιοί του Γηρσωνίτου Λααδάν, αρχηγοί των πατριών του Λααδάν του Γηρσωνίτου ήσαν Ιεχιήλ.
22 The sons of Jehieli: Zetham and Joel, his brother, had the care of the stores of the house of the Lord.
οι υιοί του Ιεχήλ, Ζαιθάμ και Ιωήλ ο αδελφός αυτού, οίτινες ήσαν επί τους θησαυρούς του οίκου του Κυρίου.
23 Of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites, of the Uzzielites:
Περί δε των Αμραμιτών, Ισααριτών, Χεβρωνιτών και Οζιηλιτών·
24 And Shebuel, the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was controller of the stores.
ο μεν Σεβουήλ ο υιός του Γηρσώμ, υιού του Μωϋσέως· ήτο επιστάτης επί τους θησαυρούς.
25 And his brothers: of Eliezer, Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.
Οι δε αδελφοί αυτού εκ του Ελιέζερ, του οποίου ο υιός ήτο ο Ρεαβίας, και Ιεσαΐας ο υιός τούτου, και Ιωράμ ο υιός τούτου, και Ζιχρί ο υιός τούτου, και Σελωμείθ ο υιός τούτου·
26 Shelomoth and his brothers were responsible for all the store of holy things which David the king and the heads of families, the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and the captains of the army, had given to the Lord.
ο Σελωμείθ ούτος και οι αδελφοί αυτού ήσαν επί πάντας τους θησαυρούς των αφιερωμάτων, τα οποία Δαβίδ ο βασιλεύς και οι άρχοντες των πατριών, οι χιλίαρχοι και οι εκατόνταρχοι, και οι αρχηγοί του στρατεύματος, αφιέρωσαν.
27 From the goods taken in war, they gave, as a holy offering, materials for the building of the house of the Lord.
Εκ των πολέμων και εκ των λαφύρων έκαμον την αφιέρωσιν, διά να επισκευάζωσι τον οίκον του Κυρίου.
28 And everything Samuel the prophet and Saul, the son of Kish, and Abner, the son of Ner, and Joab, the son of Zeruiah, had made holy; whatever anyone had given, it was under the care of Shelomoth and his brothers.
Και παν ό, τι Σαμουήλ ο βλέπων, και Σαούλ ο υιός του Κείς, και Αβενήρ ο υιός του Νηρ, και Ιωάβ ο υιός της Σερουΐας, αφιέρωσαν, παν αφιέρωμα ήτο υπό την χείρα του Σελωμείθ και των αδελφών αυτού.
29 Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons had to do all the public business of Israel, in relation to judges and men in authority.
Περί των Ισααριτών· ο Χενανίας και οι υιοί αυτού ήσαν διά τας έξω υποθέσεις επί του Ισραήλ, επιστάται και κριταί.
30 Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brothers, seventeen hundred able men, were overseers of Israel on the other side of the Jordan, to the west, being responsible for all the work of the Lord's house and for the work done by the king's servants.
Περί δε των Χεβρωνιτών· ο Ασαβίας και οι αδελφοί αυτού, ισχυροί, χίλιοι επτακόσιοι ήσαν έφοροι του Ισραήλ εντεύθεν του Ιορδάνου προς δυσμάς, διά πάσας τας υποθέσεις του Κυρίου και διά την υπηρεσίαν του βασιλέως.
31 Of the Hebronites, Jerijah was the chief of all the Hebronites, in their generations by families. In the fortieth year of the rule of David a search was made, and able men were seen among them at Jazer of Gilead.
Μεταξύ των Χεβρωνιτών ήτο Ιερίας ο αρχηγός, μεταξύ των Χεβρωνιτών κατά τας γενεάς αυτών, κατά τας πατριάς. Εν τω τεσσαρακοστώ έτει της βασιλείας του Δαβίδ εξητάσθησαν και ευρέθησαν μεταξύ αυτών δυνατοί εν ισχύϊ, εν Ιαζήρ Γαλαάδ.
32 And his brothers were two thousand, seven hundred able men, heads of families, whom King David made overseers over the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh, in everything to do with God, and for the king's business.
Και οι αδελφοί αυτού, ισχυροί, ήσαν δύο χιλιάδες και επτακόσιοι αρχηγοί πατριών, τους οποίους κατέστησε Δαβίδ ο βασιλεύς επί τους Ρουβηνίτας και τους Γαδίτας και το ήμισυ της φυλής Μανασσή, διά παν πράγμα του Θεού και διά τας υποθέσεις του βασιλέως.
