1 Chronicles 24
1 Now the divisions into which the sons of Aaron were grouped were these: the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
También los hijos de Aarón tuvieron sus repartimientos. Los hijos de Aarón: Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.
2 But Nadab and Abihu came to their end before their father, and had no children; so Eleazar and Ithamar did the work of priests.
Mas Nadab, y Abiú murieron antes que su padre, y no tuvieron hijos; Eleazar e Itamar tuvieron el sacerdocio.
3 And David, with Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, made distribution of them into their positions for their work.
Y David los repartió, siendo Sadoc de los hijos de Eleazar, y Ahimelec de los hijos de Itamar, por sus turnos en su ministerio.
4 And there were more chiefs among the sons of Eleazar than among the sons of Ithamar; and this is how they were grouped: of the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen, all heads of families; and of the sons of Ithamar, heads of families, there were eight.
Y los hijos de Eleazar fueron hallados más, cuando fueron contados, que los hijos de Itamar; y los repartieron así: De los hijos de Eleazar había dieciséis cabezas de familias paternas; y de los hijos de Itamar por las familias de sus padres, ocho.
5 So they were put into groups, by the Lord's decision, one with another; for there were rulers of the holy place and rulers of the house of God among the sons of Eleazar and the sons of Ithamar.
Los repartieron, pues, por suerte los unos con los otros; porque de los hijos de Eleazar y de los hijos de Itamar hubo príncipes del santuario, y príncipes de Dios.
6 And Shemaiah, the son of Nethanel the scribe, who was a Levite, put down their names in writing, the king being present with the rulers, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech, the son of Abiathar, and the heads of families of the priests and the Levites; one family being taken for Eleazar and then one for Ithamar, and so on.
Y Semaías escriba, hijo de Natanael, de los levitas, los escribió delante del rey y de los príncipes, y delante de Sadoc el sacerdote, y de Ahimelec hijo de Abiatar, y de los príncipes de las familias de los sacerdotes y levitas; y adscribían una familia a Eleazar, y a Itamar otra.
7 Now the first name to come out was that of Jehoiarib; the second Jedaiah,
Y la primera suerte salió por Joiarib, la segunda por Jedaías;
8 The third Harim, the fourth Seorim,
la tercera por Harim, la cuarta por Seorim;
9 The fifth Malchijah, the sixth Mijamin,
la quinta por Malquías, la sexta por Mijamín;
10 The seventh Hakkoz, the eighth Abijah,
la séptima por Cos, la octava por Abías;
11 The ninth Jeshua, the tenth Shecaniah,
la novena por Jesúa, la décima por Secanías;
12 The eleventh Eliashib, the twelfth Jakim,
la undécima por Eliasib, la duodécima por Jaquim;
13 The thirteenth Huppah, the fourteenth Jeshebeab,
la decimatercera por Hupa, la decimacuarta por Jesebeab;
14 The fifteenth Bilgah, the sixteenth Immer,
la decimaquinta por Bilga, la decimasexta por Imer;
15 The seventeenth Hezir, the eighteenth Happizzez,
la decimaséptima por Hezir, la decimaoctava por Afses;
16 The nineteenth Pethahiah, the twentieth Jehezkel,
la decimanovena por Petaías, la vigésima por Hezequiel;
17 The twenty-first Jachin, the twenty-second Gamul,
la vigesimaprima por Jaquín, la vigesimasegunda por Gamul;
18 The twenty-third Delaiah, the twenty-fourth Maaziah.
la vigesimatercera por Delaía, la vigesimacuarta por Maazías.
19 So they were put into their different groups, to take their places in the house of the Lord, in agreement with the rules made by Aaron their father, as the Lord, the God of Israel, had given him orders.
Estos fueron contados en su ministerio, para que entrasen en la Casa del SEÑOR, conforme a su costumbre, en el ministerio de Aarón su padre, de la manera que le había mandado el SEÑOR Dios de Israel.
20 And of the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.
Y de los hijos de Leví que quedaron, de los hijos de Amram, Subael; y de los hijos de Subael, Jehedías.
21 Of Rehabiah; of the sons of Rehabiah, Isshiah the chief.
Y de los hijos de Rehabías, Isías el principal.
22 Of the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.
De los izharitas, Selomot; e hijo de Selomot, Jahat.
23 And the sons of Hebron: Jeriah the chief, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
Y de los hijos de Jerías: Amarías el segundo, el tercero Jahaziel, el cuarto Jecamán.
24 The sons of Uzziel, Micah; of the sons of Micah, Shamir.
Hijo de Uziel, Micaía; e hijo de Micaía, Samir.
25 The brother of Micah, Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.
Hermano de Micaía, Isías; e hijo de Isías, Zacarías.
26 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi; the sons of Jaaziah.
Los hijos de Merari: Mahli y Musi; hijo de Jaazías, Beno.
27 The sons of Merari: of Jaaziah, Shoham and Zaccur and Ibri.
Los hijos de Merari por Jaazías: Beno, y Soham, Zacur e Ibri.
28 Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.
Y de Mahli, Eleazar, el cual no tuvo hijos.
29 Of Kish: the sons of Kish, Jerahmeel.
Hijo de Cis, Jerameel.
30 And the sons of Mushi: Mahli and Eder and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites by their families.
Los hijos de Musi: Mahli, Edar y Jerimot. Estos fueron los hijos de los levitas conforme a las casas de sus familias.
31 Selection was made of these in the same way as of their brothers the sons of Aaron, David the king being present, with Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the heads of families of the priests and of the Levites; the families of the chief in the same way as those of his younger brother.
Estos también echaron suertes, contra sus hermanos los hijos de Aarón, delante del rey David, y de Sadoc y de Ahimelec, y de los príncipes de las familias de los sacerdotes y levitas; el principal de los padres contra su hermano menor.
